Sirius nods his head in amusement. "I'll See what I can do..." He says as he pulls out an old looking key... "This wont take long." Closing his eye's he holds the key firmly... "Mother... Mother, can you hear me?" Sirius thinks. "Yes dear what is it?" The familiar voice of his mother rang in his mind. "I could use your help, i've encountered a young woman." "Sirius... when I said keep me informed I didn't mean tell me about every tramp you find." "Mother! It's not that sort of encounter, she's got magic or something, shapechanger if her little display was anything to go on." "I care about some shapeshifter why? I'm in the middle of a lesson." "Mother shes looking for a way into Avalon, I thought we could help her out, I mean having a shapechange as an allie could be handy..." Silence followed "Allright I'll be there in five minutes, stay were you are..." Sirius suddenly felt himself return to the book stoor. Opening his eyes, he smiles slightly and put's the key away. Ember Paw & Jos Terhune. Early Sunday morning (Sept 28th, around 2:00am), 2 days before the Delivery at Pier 18. Jos's Home/Shoppe, Riverside, Downtown Freedom. Ember squrms uncomfortable, "Yes, you talk to him about it." Ember says timidly. Shaking his head at Jos last offer Ember replies, "I would rather not, I go now yes? You can talk to Master later." Ember says adding the last part on for added effect.

Sirius thinks for a moment before replying, "Simply put, I'm surching for what i am." Sirius says half telling the truth. "There are a few possabilities..." Sirius says as he indicates to the Kitsune book he had brought along, "however nothing that fit's perfectly." Sirius conceads, a slight look of defeat on his face. Waving a hand absently Sirius continues, "My mother is verst in such stuff, she may be able to give you... us? guidence into how to enter the Fay realms." Sirius says almost as a whisper, "If you want the help..." He adds even softer at the end.

Sirius nods, "I'll set it up after work today and get back to you with the timing..." stoping for a second Sirius continues, "Oh you shouldn't be worried about competition. My mother is into more the Herble medicen type shops, and the Artifact devition she prefures to outsorce to other's such as yourself." Sirius adds, quietly to himself of the meeting were His mother and the other's discussed the possibilties. "Well I beleave she made some mention of stopping by next week. We could show it to her then." Sirius say's not quite sure why Jos was so interested in the woman.

"How very interesting idead" Sirius muses as Lynn talk's about Magic and portals. "Would it be supprising than if I were to tell you that I beleave you, and in fact I have the mean's to help you." Sirius smooth talks as he descreatly raises a hand and for the breafest of moments his hand appeared in a wash of red/blue fire. Sirius frown's slightly to himself, that had been harder than it use to be. Although he had much more control of his Fox form, his access to his power had been limited, and he now needed the spellbook to focus his power. Briging his attention back to Lynn Sirius smiled. "So you see I have a somewhat uneak perspective that may come in handy for you quest." 'Not to mention handy for me...' Sirius say's, saying the last part privatly in his own head.

Good news! After some arguing with Australia's primary tellecomunication companie, we finaly got ourselfes a deal. I should have full internet on in a week or two depending on how long it take's them to send me the new modern. (This type it's Wireless so it bypasses the problem's the new place has with land line internet.) So all going well, posting delay's should be minimal yay :D

Sirius nod's knowingly as lynn spoke about increasing her horizen's, His smile decisivly got larger however as she told him about her quest... "Hmm how interesting, you could say that I'm on a quest as well... Sort of a family thing, something that my family has been working toward's for a very long time." Sirius said, finding it hard to hide his smirk. This really was going far better than he had exspected.

Sirius give's a slight knowing nod of resignation, "Well one good thing, is we could have the meeting with my mother and the new supplyer at the same time, They both know each other and the new supplyer works for my mother..." stoping for a second Sirius thinks for a bit longer, "Sort of like a corporation, My mother is sort of a CEO i guess, and the supplyer is a CEO of a smaller group that is appart of the larger group that my mother owns...." Sirius says his face screwing up as he tries to exsplain the Grove without telling Jos anything about the grove. "Oh that was nothing, A few week's ago Ms. Mecullen came in looking for a present for her knew husband who's apparently into the whole sailing ships, pirats, land lubbers and what not, She ended up getting an old compass for him." Sirius takes a breath as he continues, "Apparently he loved it so much, she came back to have a look at what elce we may have in that from that time frame. I almost got her to buy that cutless over there on the wall, unfortnatly as much as she liked it, she wasn't intrested in buying anything today and said she'd retern later and if we still had the cutless than she'd get it." Sirius exsplained.

Hey every one Bad news, Due to 'cost cutting' I am currently unable to get any resonable Internet access. (that being, beside's going to a relatives house, I don't have any internet.) Thus I am officaly letting you all know, that my internet time will drop to almost nill. At most I'll probably be able to come around and use this computer around once a week, maybe more maybe less. So sorry for the delay's to everyone in game's with me. I'll do my best to keep up. If it become's nessisary who ever is running the game may NPC my character. "How many time's have I told you to just call me Sirius." Sirius calls back before turning to great the new customer. "Welcome back Ms Mecullen, How did your husband like that antique sailing compass, second year anniversary wasn't it?" Sirius chime's speaking to the woman as she approached.... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Looking at Jos, Sirius shrugged. "Everything ran fine, Had a few new merchandise come in. Found a new possible suppler of antiques, I've sold a few samples and they seem quite popular, so now that your back you'll probably want to meet the supplier." Sirius says somewhat melancholy. "Oh and my mother would like the meet you, she's recently moved into town and she said something about a business proposition, or something like that." Sirius adds.

Sirius stands and allows Lynn to lead the way. Quickly snatching up the Kitsune book before he follows. 'One down, one two go.' Sirius thinks to himself with an inward smile. "So I take it your a student?" Sirius asks as he follows. "Or are you just expanding your cultural knowledge?" Sirius adds.

Oh right sorry, I was going to give a little update but I guess I forgot with all the moving For the most part, Sirius would have carried on as normal. opening and closing the shop at the appropriate times, dealing with customers ext ext. On the rare occasion that he had something else to do he probably would have gotten one of the other's from the sect to 'fill in' for the day. Jos would probably find a few new artefact’s scattered around the shop, any scans of them would show faint Natural magic attuned to them. Any new Artefacts would most likely be benign in nature, and most would have minor magical value, (you know maybe a artistic tree holder that has a faint auroras of rejuvenation on it, that allows any plant attached to it to grow more healthy, or to be healed of any plant sickness ext.. that sort of thing.) For the most part Sirius would of only of entered Jos's 'house' part to drop of mail, do some cleaning ext. so minor snooping while he was doing other stuff, but nothing to intrusive. Most of the snooping would have been done more recently as Sirius started to wonder whether Jos was coming back. Other than that Sirius has had a fairly quite few months. Mostly looking after the shop, and spending time in the great library at the druids grove. Jos may be able to detect some residual dimensional travel in the store. (all one way, all to another diminution -The druids grove-)

Sirius chuckles, "No offence taken, Even I find some of those name's difficult to pronounce." Sirius muses, "And a scone would be fine, thank you." Musing for a second Sirius continues, "But if your buying the scones than I insist on buying the a hot drink for you. Coffee? Coco? Tea?" Sirius asks.

Sirius gracefully take's the offered seat. "In a manner of speaking you could say I'm a student, albeit reluctantly." Sirius replies, half musing to himself before his attention returns to Lynn. "I've only been in Freedom City for several month's now, and I've recently had some unexpected history pop up, that i must research." Sirius say's eyeing off the two books in Lynn’s possession. Sirius smirks inwardly to himself, this was going much better than he had expected. She was seemed like a nice enough girl, a tad naive but nice enough. Although he could only sense it if he was in his fox form, Sirius had a sneaking suspicion that if he were in his fox form, he'd probably be able to sense magic on this one, wild untrained and untapped magic... but that was only a suspicion and he wouldn't know unless he encounter her in his fox form. "So your researching Celtic mythology and Kitsune are you? rather interesting reading selection." Sirius continues...

Sirius looked somewhat taken aback, before returning to his original demeanour. "A few inaccuracies but ironically mostly correct, given the right situation." Sirius mused thinking over the heavy arcane armour the Knights of the circle ware. Holding out his hand Sirius did a sort of half bow, "Sirius, Sirius Vulpes." Sirius lowers his hand again after a few seconds regardless of whether Lynn takes it or not. "I do not mean to be rude, but sometime's its easer to brake the ice than toy around the uncomfortableness of the formalities." Sirius says, a coy smile on his face, as he attempts to be charming.

Sirius entered the small bookstore with a slight huff. It had taken him almost an hour to get away from the grove, everybody had wanted to talk to him. Wandering through around the book store Sirius looked like a man on a mission. He had several books he wanted the get, One on ancient Celtic mythology, and another on the Japanese Kitsune myths. While Sirius still didn't know what he was, he could at least look into it. From an obvious standpoint he would of guessed he was a kitsune, but perhaps there was an obscure celtic/galic creature that was also a fox, After all Sirius had yet to be able to do the Kitsunes signature ability of shapeshifting. Wandering down the aisle Sirius passed two woman who were talking, Sirius kept on his search for the books. He had searched the entire library at home, but had not found these two books, The librarian had mumbled something about short on supplies, and a shipment of new books (with the two sirius wanted) was due to arrive in three months. Sirius had no intention of waiting that long... But as Sirius stalked the aisles he had a sinking feeling that he may have to. Pouting Sirius sighed and started to head out of the shop. That's when he spotted it. "Myth's and Legends of the Kitsune." over on a table with some young woman reading... Sirius couldn't believe his eyes. There on the table with the young woman he had passed in the aisles a few moments ago, were the two books he was after. Now that Sirius had his books in sight, there was no way he was going to wait three month's the get them. Nor was he about to yet some Druid wannabe take them either. Quickly Sirius crossed the room toward the table and the young woman. "Did you know that the Celtics, were ancient druids who were wiped out by the Romans. Despite never actually threatening them, and that the stories’ of druids being evil is a lie, and that in fact they helped many people all over there territory by helping the crops grow, and by banishing evil spirits from the land..." Sirius said to the young woman his voice think with an Irish accent. Sirius hoped that with any luck the girl would bite, and he'd be able to wrangle the books away from her, although if that didn't work there was always plane B...

Yeah I'd lower it wealth 1. Gaining an allowance from the various Fox grove enterprises as well as working a 9-5 job at Jos Shop, should mean Ember is no longer straped for cash Updated by Doc.

Sirius stops dead in his tracks as he see's Jos. "So you are alive..." Sirius snides, but with a cheeky smile indicating his jest. "And no, Although I did find a nice little shop down the block a bit that sells some." Sirius replied, seemingly uninterested in were Jos had been hiding. "I could duck out and get you some. Maybe a coffie or something too, I beleave there's a coffie shop next to the bakery." Sirius offered.

Ember looked curiosly at Jos, before replying "Sirius." both glade and worried about that answer would bring. He was certanly happy that the woman had gone, but he really hoped Jos wouldn't put the two and two togeather to realize he was Sirius. "I got you the ring." Sirius mutterd quietly not making eye contact with Jos. "I work for the Vulpes family, and so in exstention you." Ember says, still avoiding eye contact.

Fine with me, I'm staying with family until the furniture arrives, so i have some internet access again. :D

haha, yeah I'd be fine with all that. From a morality standpoint Sirius is selfish and does things for himself, but on the scale of super villains he's a C class villain. He doesn’t have world domination plants, he doesn’t kill or torture other's unless he feels he must. Ultimately his primary goal is to gain power. He's the sort of person who would steel candy from a baby, but he wouldn't push the baby out into the middle of the road. (If anything he may save a baby in the middle of the road if only for the 2 min's of being in the spotlight.) But I'm cool with whatever people decide.

Depending on time, and how well I go at moving this next week, Ember could possible join in, although granted he is a villain (albet more gray side than dark side.) and the hole Avalon thing would fit well with the druid sect Ember's attached too. If you would have him (depending on moving, internet connections, and whether you want a villain along )

I sort of had it that it wasn't the family's original last name, but after the Fox incident, and how it passed on to each firstborn (surviving) family member, the family name eventually changed to Vulpes. And as for Sirius well that would be his mother's covert quirkiness coming out. So yes they are both his real name. And thanks! (If were real lucky it wont rain! despite it being forcast for the entire time were moving :cry: (it always does that... we move and it has to rain. :? ))
