  2. "Holy hell, dude!" exclaimed Chris, grabbing Rick's arms as he popped Captain Thunder and Bolt out of existance. "You... Ok, screw this!" Ignoring Young Freedom's attempts to get him teleported out, Geckoman pulled down his goggles and glared at Rick. "I'm gonna put you down until you're in your right mind enough to fix this. I know you're grieving, but..." Geckoman balled his fist. "That's no excuse!" he shouted, launching a lightning-fast blow towards Rick's head.
  3. Geckoman skipped over one shot, then another. Unfortunately, one clipped his shoulder, smashing him back and letting the next volley crash into his chest and arms. Dammit... not again. With the familiar dizziness and nausea filling his head and guts, Chris stopped fighting it and let himself drop to the floor and slide into the blackness.
  4. Resist feint on 19; then Toughness (1d20+9=11, 1d20+5=10)
  5. Woah, he can't go too. No. Red-eyed, Chris quickly dashed to steady Rick Lucas. Woah. He doesn't smell right... no, he doesn't smell. He's just a non-entity when it comes to my nose! "Sir, are you OK? Do you need a doctor?"
  6. Caught off guard, the shots felt like liquid fire as they coursed into Geckoman's back. He could smell the singed kevlar and blistered flesh underneath it. It wasn't a good smell. Great. A total newb is kicking my ass. Thing is... I've taken worse. Still reeling and unable to move with any co-ordination, Chris grinned under his mask as he turned to look at where he could smell his invisible attacker. "Bring it." The words hurt, but damn if they didn't feel good.
  7. Acrobatics to resist feint; Toughness (1d20+9=20, 1d20+5=18) Bugger. The DC was 15 + 4 (blast) + 2 (sneak) + 3 (Autofire) + 5 (Crit), so DC 29. I fail by 11, so I'm staggered and stunned.
  8. Go on Total Defence. Next round, I'm at Defence 26 (+16)
  9. "C'mon, I'm barely moving!" complained Geckoman, casually avoiding the attacks. Glancing back, he noticed the lightning arcing back towards him. Oh... sausages. Running towards Rycon's location, he skidded to a halt in the dust and gave a quick salute. "Watch this," he grinned, tensing his knees to leap.
  10. "Slowing down?" said Geckoman, laughing. "Peak human reflexes. I could half my speed and still..." Crap, incoming! He leapt into the air to try and dodge, but the shots hit him dead on in the chest, bringing him crashing down on his knees. "Good... shot..." he managed through gritted teeth. Why aren't the wounds healing!? This isn't right.
  11. DC 26 Toughness (1d20+6=19) Dammit, bruised x2 and stunned.
  12. The Pitchoo slid down onto the ruined lawn, Geckoman leaping out before it could stop. He came to a halt beside Mark's body. "Oh no. Oh, God no." Can't break down... keep going. He pivoted on his heel, face an expressionless mask. Keep going, do the job, pretend you never met him. "Hurry the Hell up with that portal, if you're getting him to hospital, do it now. Someone secure the perimeter, we don't want anyone else hurt. Do it!"
  13. "Ah, keeping quiet," asked Geckoman, roughly shoving Rycon away and out of the headlock. "Ah well, I can talk enough for us both." Blatantly showboating, he raised both arms up and one leg up, in the Crane Stance from the Karate Kid. With dramatic pause to allow everyone to anticipate the Daniel-San inspired kick... Geckoman planted his foot down again and punched Rycon in the face.
  14. Dammit, forgot to remind you. While Stunned, you need to make a Concentration check (DC 14) or your Invisibility drops. Although, due to Accurate Scent, that doesn't matter. Anyway, since I'm the grappler, I can just let go. Cue: Fatigue kicking in, dropping my Attack and defence by -1, and Str and Dex by -2 Feint as move action, using Skill Mastery for 27, which you can't beat. Attack unarmed with offensive stance, for DC 20 since I can Sneak Attack: Remember, you're at -1 to save thanks to the bruise. DC 20 Sneak Attack (1d20+11=12) Dammit! Spend my last HP for - Re-roll, re-roll, re-roooooll! (1d20+11=28) Altogether, Geckoman is bruised, fatigued, and suffers -4 defence until his next turn. And is on 0 HP.
  15. Geckoman roared in pain as the electric blasts seared his chest. Dammit, cloaking device. Dropping low, he came up in a crouch, sniffing the air. "OK, nice trick," he winced. "Nice to see a sudden burst of competence. Thing is," he opined, suddenly bursting at the invisible girl. Grabbing her in a headlock, he brought his elbow down into her stomach. "I can smell that trenchcoat. Might wanna wash it so embarassing situations like this don't happen!"
  16. DC 29 Toughness save (1d20+7=27) OK, first things first! Extra Effort for Accurate Scent. Next round, I'm Fatigued. Then move up and make a grapple attack: Roll to hit for grapple, then roll to actually grapple. DC 19 Toughness if you fail (1d20+10=22, 1d20+10=30)
  17. "Oh, Wander's very discriminate. Everyone else? Fine. Zombies? Post-traumatic stress disorder-induced raging destruction," said Geckoman, popping a joint into place as he struggled to his feet. "I'm not sure it's possible to stop her."
  18. Geckoman glanced to the side to see the electricity flying towards him. Going to roll, he felt the lightning sear his costume at his side. "Hey! This is dry clean only!" he said in mock anguish as he looked at the blackened mess, breaking into a run towards Rycon. "Hold still, this might hurt," came the grin as Geckoman leapt up and swung a roundhouse kick into the side of Rycon's head.
  19. Ok, you hit by enough to do +4 DC, but only get +2 (you need Autofire 3 to get more than 1/2 the base attack's DC in bonus damage). So DC 21, Geckoman gets DC 21 Toughness (1d20+7=10) enough to stagger him. So I spend a HP (reducing me to 1), to re-roll! Re-roll (1d20+7=21) Not a scratch. I'll then use a full-round action to charge Rycon, striking unarmed: Facepunch! DC 19 Toughness (1d20+12=24) Incidentally, note DC and so forth in the rolls from now on. ;)
  20. "Erin, NO!" Geckoman had seen her in states like this before, and it didn't end well. Dammit, I'm not strong enough to physically hurt her! He forward flipped off the scoreboard, sweeping his leg down in a drop kick... but Wander was gone, much faster than he could hope to be. "Goddammit, stop!" shouted Geckoman, nursing his leg as he felt the fractures from hitting the ground slowly repair.
  21. Geckoman adjusted his goggles as he walked into the ring, a spring in his step. "Ladies and gentlement, energy beings of all ages! The Gobsmacking Geckoman is here for your evening's entertainment!" He did a quick backflip, landing in a jazz hands pose. "Now, when his contender is READY!" he shouted to the other side of the ring. "Y'all can bust out the popcorn."
  22. Geckoman, by contrast to Erin, just strode in. "Gentlemen!" he proclaimed, holding a Geckorang high. "I am out of practice due to a brief sojourn out of this business! Thus, I require someone to spar with to recover my awesomitude!" He skittered up a scoreboard and raised his arms pleadingly. "Is it so wrong to just want to show off my mad kung fu skillz!?" Suddenly, Geckoman glanced down at the figure leaning on the board. "Hi, Wander!"
  23. There's only room for one Batman expy in this town!
  24. Geckonitiative (1d20+9=23) Yes. He's that fast. :spidey:
  25. OK, Geckoedits! 1pp more into Regeneration, making his Injured no action. His regen has pretty much peaked now 1pp into Equipment, for: He has 2 pp left.
