Chris waved away their questions. "No, I'll be fine. Maybe try and get those power nullifiers from Summers." He rubbed his eyes wearily. "Otherwise my metabolism just processes out normal sleeping pills. And I'm not sure upping the dosage is a clever idea."

The Pitchoo swooped and rolled, dumping all the rubble into the water some distance from the civilians. "Thank you, Eddie, it's good to be back!" exclaimed Geckoman, spiralling onto the bridge and leaping from the Pitchoo even as it settled into a low hover. "I mean, I leave you guys a few weeks and giant monsters attack. Face it, you need me!"

One thug flies into the wall even as his friends find their guns failing to shoot, looking at each other incredulously. "Holy hell! She didn't warn us about that!" exclaimed one. Outside, Geckoman gestured to the bank. "Sounds like it worked. Who wants point?"

If Heritage wants Grim as well, everyone's favourite Geckoman could take part.

"Not really. More disgusting." "I don't sleep," hissed Chris. "I can't sleep anymore. I'm too used to running around at night. I tried jogging. I ran into a tree in the dark!" Chris spun and eyed her carefully. "You heard wrong. Had to quit, 'cos I screwed it all up. Ruined some lives, stole stuff, y'know. The usual. It was fun!" he declared sarcastically, giving a thumbs up.
-
Chris's eyes snapped open. "Hoboman?! HOBO- oh god, you have tentacles. That's... surreal. Has sleep deprivation got to me this much?" He rolled off the table, and grabbed one. "Ew. That's... ew. Ewewewewewewewewew." He pulled the hood on his sweater up over his head and glared from underneath it at the two kids who'd come up to him. "New kids?"
-
Chris lay on a table in one of the halls, rubbing his head in his hands. God, I'm so tired. His hair was a mess and it looked like he hadn't shaved in a week. His green sweater had a few rips and tears in it, and his jeans had no knees to them. All in all, he looked an utter mess. Some prefect told him to get off the table and was chased off with a most uncharacteristic snarl.
-
"God! Are you OK!?" shouted Chris, running over and hugging Liz. He'd somehow sidled off and put his clothes on. With the time spent slipping off well-wishers, it hadn't left time to ditch the costume altogether, so it was still under his clothes. "Yeah, yeah, just a bit ruffled," said Liz. As if to demonstrate, she re-applied her lipstick and gave him a kiss. "I mean, I was the one who rigged it." Chris kissed back before pulling off with a start. "You what?" Hold on, this ain't right. "You're joking, right?" He stumbled slightly. Wait, I don't stumble. Liz reached over, and slapping away his weak arms, tore open his shirt. "Geckoman, Geckoman, Geckoman," she mocked, "You find a way to get at me in your civilian identity too." "I'm not... did you poison me somehow?" Liz raised an eyebrow, then laughed. "Wow, you are that stupid." Slapping her belt buckle, her outfit shifted to the Spellbound outfit, her hair becoming dishevelled-looking and a sparkling force field obscuring her features. "And the knock-out lipstick should work fully in 5... 4... 3..." Chris temporarily blacked out and smashed to the floor. "Hey, he made it to three. Guess I was wrong on the timing." was the last thing he heard before it stopped being temporary.

Accidentally deleted when I shouldn't. To summarise, Gecks gained 2 HP, spend 1 while extra efforting, then got 1 for saving people. That's 4 HP and Fatigue. With the "I Got Drugged By My Crazy Girlfriend" Hero point cancelling out Fatigue, that's still 4HP.

"Hey! Asshole!" The thug glanced down and started as Geckoman flew upwards at a high speed, grapple cable screeching as he strained it. "Catch!" The Cobra fell back as a yellow-gloved fist smashed into his jaw. And toppled backwards off the rollercoaster. "Oh. Damn." Geckoman fired his grappling hook at his feet even as he leapt, grabbing the falling man's jacket just as the line pulled taut.
-
Rolling low, Geckoman slid under the barriers while the crowds watched the events above with rapt fascination. The Cobra had yanked Liz up by her hair, threatening to throw her to her death. Dammit, got to get up there. He was under the high section of track the coaster had halted upon. Back to a pillar to remain unnoticed by the operator, he pulled out his grappling gun. If I make the slightest mistake, Liz is dead. Sweat trickled down the inside of his mask. "God, I don't ask for much. All I want here is one perfect game, and I'm yours. Amen." He pointed upwards and fired the grappling hook.
-
Chris was watching Liz climb into a carriage and strap herself down. Then he noticed the guy behind her with the snake tattoo on his neck. Wait... I know those guys. White Cobras? Glancing sideways, the rollercoaster operator also had a tattoo. "Crap." Chris stood looking panicked as the ride rumbled into motion, climbing high and whirling low, then climbing slowly again... and stopping! His keen eyes noticed the Cobra on the ride had his gun levelled at Liz's head. "Get the police! If my demands aren't met, I will blow this girl's head off!" Then Chris was running, sliding behind a booth and sliding out seconds later in his Geckoman costume. Running back towards the ride, he ducked into a crouch. Gametime.
-
Chris strolled through Ocean Heights Amusement Park with a couple of ice-cream cones. Liz has been frosty for the past few days. Weird. And I don't know why she wanted to meet here. It's hard to find anyone here on a Friday night. "Hey! Kenzie!" Chris whipped around and then broke into a grin. Liz was at the front of the queue for a rollercoaster. "You're late," she said, kissing him on the cheek as he came over. "Um... something came up." Some asshole tried to hold up the candy floss stall! Who does that!? "Listen, I'll just wait here since you've got to the front of the queue. Then we need to talk." "Sure," smiled Liz, but it didn't reach her eyes. That's not a good sign. Damndamndamndamndamndamn Chris just walked over to the railing with the ice creams as she boarded the ride.

"You want me to lie down and stop fighting for what I believe?" choked out Silencer, a tone of anger entering his voice for the first time. "It'd help." Ignoring the protests from his bad leg, Arrowhawk surged across the room, swinging a fist in a hammerblow from the right. The Silencer's arm spun around, halting the fist with his forearm. In retaliation, he spun on one leg, sending the other in a vicious roundhouse. Arrowhawk effortlessly reached up, pulling the leg upwards even as he brutally kicked out Silencer's knee from under him. The killer slammed into the floor a third time at the exact same moment an armoured foot cracked his ribcage. "It'd help you and me both."

Arrowhawk: Bruised x2, Injured x2, 5 Hero Points Silencer: Bruised x3, Staggered Round 10: Silencer stands up. Arrowhawk charges and Power Attacks for 3. Natural 1, spend a HP (down to 4), 22 still misses! Round Ten: Silencer uses Offensive Stance and Power Attacks for 2. 17 misses! Arrowhawk goes to Startle again. Third time, so Silencer has an extra +2 to resist... Arrowhawk gets 20, Silencer gets 28. So Arrowhawk just PAs for 3 again, 22 hitting Silencer's lowered defence. DC 21, Silencer gets 16. A fourth bruise, and he's knocked to the floor again! Surge!!! Power Attack for 5, hits easily, Silencer fails by a mere 3! Five bruises!
-
Arrowhawk kicked his staff away as Silencer stood. In picking up Silencer, he'd discarded it. By his foe's laboured movements, he wouldn't need it. Impressive. He's still going. "Lay back down, kid. I've stopped bigger fish than you." It wasn't a threat. It came as a statement. Yet the Silencer just kept on coming, raising his fists as he scanned the floor for his sound gun. "I told you to STOP!" On the last word, Arrowhawk hurled a right hook that took Silencer to the floor again. "You're nothing. You think killing is the way? Prove it!" His foot lashed into Silencer's stomach, but the man remained eerily silent even as the blow forced him to curl up slightly. Still the man tried to get up, his foot lashing towards Arrowhawk's leg. The strike was deflected with a quick leg thrust to the right. "Oh, you're pathetic." Arrowhawk swept his arm in an arc, catching Silencer and spinning him clean round and through another table. Still the man stirred, going to stand from the wreckage.

Arrowhawk has four shiny HP, and 2 bruises and injuries. Silencer is bruised, staggered, prone, and just went through a rather nice table. Round Eight: Silencer stands. Arrowhawk goes to Startle. 29! Silencer only gets 22. So Arrowhawk punches him, PAing for 5. 21 hits, and 19 is another bruise and stun vs DC 28. Silencer is on the floor again. HP to surge! Hits again, and the shiny DC 28 is failed by 12. Another staggered and stunned? Fiat... 26! A third bruise! Round Nine: Silencer stands, and once more fiats to attack. He misses by 2. So Arrowhawk startles again. 21 loses to 33. Yet Arrowhawk goes to grapple again. 26 hits, 24 beats 19... throw! Another table gone, but Silencer rolls 20.
-
Silencer rolled along the ground to minimise the pain as Arrowhawk's boot smashed into his groin. His gloved hands batted away the second strike even as he surged to his feet, quickly jabbing with his left fist. A look of fear managed to cross his expressionless mask as the grim archer didn't flinch from the fist hitting his face. Arrowhawk's hands found purchase around the murderous vigilante's neck and waist, lifting him and hurling him through an expensive mahogany table. Splinters of wood flew as the fine craftwork collapsed from the force of the blow.

Arrowhawk's on 3 HP, and is bruised x2 + injured x2. Silencer is bruised and staggered. Round Six: Silencer recovers from stun, but is still prone. So Arrowhawk kicks him in the groin. Power for 5, hits on a 24. Silencer rolls a 1 vs DC 23... Fiat! 26 is much better! HP to surge again, but it just misses! Round Seven: Silencer gets up. He Fiats to attack and Defensive Attacks for 3. A 25 still hits, but Arrowhawk rolls a natural 20. Arrowhawk goes to grapple. He hits barely, rolls 18 vs 12 and then throws Silencer through a table. Silencer avoids injury, but taking 10, the table is wrecked.

"Walk away," chided Silencer, levelling his gun again. Arrowhawk just growled, charging across the room, ignoring the sound blasts smashing into his chest. He swung his staff like a golf club, sending Silencer reeling with a smash to the chin. He followed up with a second swipe, missing as it sailed over his opponent's head. Silencer rapidly recovered, coming up with his gun raised as a shield. "You walk away," snarled Arrowhawk as he loomed upwards. As Silencer involuntarily dropped his gun in shock, Arrowhawk moved like quicksilver, metal smashing into the side of Silencer's mask and throwing him toppling to the ground.

Arrowhawk has 4 HP and a bruise + injury. Round Four: Silencer rolls to Startle as a move action. He gets 11. Arrowhawk can't fail. So Silencer just shoots him again, getting 24 to hit. Arrowhawk fails by 4, suffering his second injury and bruise. Arrowhawk charges and power attacks for 4. 22 misses! *gripes* Hero Point, 25 does not! DC 24 save, Silencer is bruised and stunned on 18. Arrowhawk extra efforts to surge, power attacking for full. He rolls a 4... Round Five: Silencer recovers his stun. Arrowhawk goes to Startle. 24 is opposed by 22. So Hawk PAs for 5, and gets a 20! DC 30 hit!!! Silencer fails by 10, and is staggered and stunned!

Note: Anyone with clearance to use protocols receives this notice. Introduction to Protocols These files are not a plot for the destruction of Freedom City superheroes. Nor is it a declaration that I think superhumans will go rogue. Nonetheless, it can happen, and has happened before. These plans are in place to cover that eventuality. Access to files is strictly limited, and no matter your clearance, your own file (and those of spouses and relatives) is verboten. No exceptions. The superhuman classification levels Omega --- Methods to neutralise superhumans on a power scale potentially comparable to the Centurion and Omega. - This category is those worst-case scenarios. Should superheroes in this category go rogue, it will be a crisis, and should a supervillain appear at this level, fatality probability is 99.999% at lowest. Alpha --- Methods to neutralise superhumans on a significant power level. - These superhumans are still shy of Omega-level, although many could reach that level of threat. Delta --- Methods to neutralise superhumans on a manageable power level - These superhumans, while by no means not worth noting, are simply not that powerful. While taking them down won't be easy, it's still notably less risky than Alpha-level threats. Null --- Methods to neutralise superhumans whose powers aren't particularly noteworthy. - Included for completeness only, these files shouldn't really be required by the majority. These Null-class individuals are entirely manageable. Classification scale Azure: Only one person, left unidentified, shall ever gain access to these. They detail how to neutralise me and any particularly close associates. Crimson: Generally for superheroes, this classification is secure enough that one copy exists, and may not be removed from it's secure area. Crimson-Delta is a sub-category indicating it contains details on a hero's personal life. Unless an Omega-grade incident occurs, access is Arrowhawk only. Amber: Generally reserved for supervillains, these files are not as heavily restricted. Nonetheless, follow instructions on file. If it becomes known to you that the files are compromised, destroy then seek Arrowhawk or (if known to you), the Azure-cleared individual. These files should not reach the hands of one who'd abuse them in any circumstances.

CLASSIFICATION: AMBER --- No unauthorised access. --- One copy, and one copy only to be kept in undisclosed storage location. --- Authorised access comes with knowledge of storage location, and access to key. Information should not be taken from storage location unless permission obtained from Arrowhawk, or another Azure-clearance individual ALPHA-CLASS SUPERHUMAN DISPOSAL --- Methods to neutralise superhumans on a significant power level. Malice Eric Michaels Eric Michaels, former head of Darts Inc. A highly intelligent weapons developer, his irrational hate of superhumans led him to make his powered armour to prove superhumans weren't needed. The suit is strong, can fly, is highly resistant to damage and has a huge array of weapons systems. Michaels' HQ was destroyed by Arrowhawk in an incident in Riverside, a process which also cost him his arm. While as powerful as most superhumans, and indeed more powerful than most, Malice is nonetheless simply an intelligent human outside his suit. Catching his unarmoured would greatly aid in his capture, although alertness is advised given he has escaped prison before. Recommended method: Outside of the armour, he can be subdued as easily as another human being. In the armour, he is stronger, faster and much tougher. Explosives can pierce the armour, and an EMP could theoretically disable it. However, my last attempt to do so failed, so this method is unconfirmed. Personal Life: Eric's personal life was ruined following his outing as Malice. His hatred of metahumans apparently stems from the loss of his father to crossfire in a superhuman battle.
