Arrowhawk immediately nocked his bow and silently treaded the boards. Then... the silence abruptly stopped and the screaming started. The whole building was vibrating with soundwaves! Silencer! The dark-clad vigilante dashed towards the screaming, but was too late. All the Mancinis lay dead, a couple blasted with sound, the rest bludgeoned under a cone of silence. And amidst them stood the black-suited Silencer, wiping a speck of blood off his sonic cannon. "Murderer," growled Arrowhawk. "Come now. You wanted them stopped as much as me. Why do you object?" came a calm, reasonable voice from within the full body suit. "Because slaughtering them is sinking to their level, you animal." The Silencer just cocked his head and shot Arrowhawk directly in the chest. The powerful vibrations of the cannon dented his armour inwards, cracked plates digging into the skin. A second shot, and his bow went flying off out of his hands. Reacting instinctively, the Scotsman had rolled forwards, whipping out and extending his staff as he came up swinging the staff so quickly the crack echoed through the room. The Silencer side-stepped it like it was nothing.

Arrowhawk already gets a HP, for Silencer getting in there without his knowing.

Finally... Arrowhawk had pummelled the Mancinis since he'd first started in Freedom City. Now... all they had was this one small club. Surveillance had shown the last members of the crime family were holed up there. They couldn't see him, and he could see them. Thud. Thud. His footsteps pounded on the roof as he announced his presence. They couldn't stop him. There weren't enough men. The building was small, with large windows and doors. They'd put all the lights on. Sure, it meant he couldn't get any cover from shadows. It also meant he could see their decadent wood panelling and mahogany tables. And they were away to lose it all. The caped figure crashed through the skylight, wing-like silhouette billowing around him. "Gentlemen..." he started, but realised... there was no sound.

Suddenly, all those present with communicators felt them sounding off. "This is Geckoman. There's this robbery in progress, requesting back-up at my current position. Hostages have been taken. Someone get down here!"
-
"Um, thanks," said Geckoman, tucking the card into his back pocket. "But I doubt I need it. Young Freedom have enough members than I can get a field team when I want one, which is pretty... terrific."

POWER ATTACK for 5 with Penetrating Arrow. DC 26 (1d20+11=15)
-
Arrowhawk revved up his engine, flicking a switch to keep the engine on as he stood up on the bike, nocking an arrow as he did so. Leaning over to steer, he pulled onto the landing strips. The 20' tall monster needed to be stopped. The archer let the explosive arrow fly. It struck the monster in the chest, the explosive charges driving through its iron skin.

SEXY! (1d20+9=22)

Arrowhawk had frantically got out of bed, donned his suit and leapt onto his bike. Speeding across town, he listened to police bands on his earpiece. The airport. He spun in the middle of the road, skidding onto the correct path with practiced ease. The bike's engine roared as Arrowhawk screeched to a halt on his bike, hands going for his bow and an arrow instantly.

Yay, painful agonising death.

He's old :o

"Oooh, I love it when you press my buttons," said Chris, pretending to swoon. "Fine, I'll talk to her. But I can't promise anything." He then turned to James. "Last time a girl said no to you?" he grinned.

"Ass. I don't believe in love at first sight. Yeah, she's mad about him. Actual love? No." Chris frowned. "I mean, she's like Hellion sans his parent issue. So rich, that she can get what she likes, no disappointment. Obviously not Marky-level, but still kinda sheltered."

"Woahoahoah, I meant no harm! Well, I got harmed, goddamn sheets, but Zoe didn't. Well, I didn't walk in on anything like that... so, MARK!" said Chris hurriedly. "I'm fine to talk to Faith, unless... well, don't you think I'm TOO MUCH for a newbie? Like, really TOO DAMN MUCH?"

"I'll talk to him, as the one who is a male, who has sustained a semi-successful relationship," began Chris. Wait, Zoe. "And as someone who knows to put a damn hat on the door," he continued, glaring at Eddie, "I should talk to him. Although plying him with beer would help with manly talk."

"Or I could punch Mark in the face?" said Chris helpfully. "It worked for Mike... well, not really well. Or at all. Ok, different plan." Chris mused for a while. "The issue is, if they break up, she'll be crushed. And then she'll notice him essentially not caring. It's not quite like that, but it also sorta is, and it'll look like that. And she'll get more crushed."

*is picky* Arrowhawk's probably going to be in South Freedom, so if there's a thread there... Any chance a couple of Young Freedom members could go together?

Your friendly neighbourhood Ecalsneerg is on holiday Friday, Saturday and Sunday. In Edinburgh (i.e. the other place in Scotland you know the name of).
-
You're PL 5.5 offensively (legal), and PL defensively 6.5 (not). I'd drop a point in Protection.
-
"Compensating for something?" asked Arrowhawk wryly. "And Southside is different. The crooks there? They know how to deal with superheroes. Especially ones that announce their presence with huge white wings and a flaming sword. You can't intimidate someone who saw you coming a mile off and decided to postpone his plans until no 'capes' are flying around."
-
"Um... weapon systems? Like... orbital cannons? No way, José. No," said Arrowhawk, standing bolt upright. They'd ask me... to use THAT!? "When I agreed to help, noone mentioned me using huge guns." He spat the last word, glaring at the pilot. "No. There's always another way. I'll help you fight as best I can, but I won't use a gun."

"Well, who wants vengeful supervillains spilling your coffee? The good stuff ain't cheap," said Geckoman. "And somehow I doubt driving license laws apply to something which only I can fly. Really... I'm the only one qualified to call myself qualified." He set up his camera and put the timer on, walking to strike a heroic pose beside Jack. "Say 'Meta-Cheeeeese!'"
