Arrowhawk tightened his grasp as he saw the Broan teleport away. "Not without answers," he snarled, but it wasn't enough. His hands clenched upon thin air as his captive vanished in the gold light. "DAMMIT!" He hurled his arrow into the mud and cracked it underneath his boot. He stood and watched as the woman cried over her fallen friend. I caused other people to be in this situation. Grieving over dead friends and family. I screwed up. This... this time I can fix it. "We go after them," stated Arrowhawk quietly, pulling his cloak around him to keep the rain off. "We catch them and bring them to justice."

Is Jack really needed if you already have any skill you want? And Lionheart is worthless is Fearless is still allowed as a feat. Equipment 17PP = 85EP Goggles [2EP] [*:3oi2flg5]Super-Senses 2 (Infravision, Low-Light Vision) [2EP]

Arrowhawk strode confidently across the clearing, towards the pile of Broan stunned by lightning. Reaching down, he grabbed the unconscious one and pressed a pointed arrow against its thick neck. "ALIENS! My name is Arrowhawk, and this is my city. Surrender, and you can live. Keep fighting? I kill your comrade here, then execute each last one of you. Do I make myself clear?" Dear God, please don't call my bluff... His face belied his thoughts as the red eyes stared in an angry death glare.

Move action to get to unconscious guy. I AM A SCARY, SCARY MAN (1d20+18=22) HP re-roll (1d10+28=37)

<> announced the computer, as Geckoman slammed the acclerator lever into full speed, rocketting into 1,000 MPH. Lifting the nose at precisely the right moment, he crashed into the Meta-Grue, sending the alien reeling into the pavement at a high speed with a massive crack. However, despite all the punishment, it still rolled over onto its back, tiny teeth clenched in anger.

RAMMING SPEED! Slam attack with Pitchoo, DC 24. (1d20+6=16) Hmmm... due to his size, he's Defence 20 even stunned. HP: RAAAAAGE (1d20+6=20) DC 24 slam, and Pitchoo's Toughness too (DC 19) (1d20+5=14, 1d20+12=29) The Pitchoo is undented. The Meta-Grue, however, is stunned and staggered. He falls to the pavement: DC20 faceplant (1d20+5=21)

Resist feint, then Toughness (1d20+11=22, 1d20+9=19) He fails by 8, bringing him to four bruises and a stun. Goddamn, I hate you.
-
The blow struck the tiny alien in the chest, sending him spiralling back through the air with a high-pitched "Eeeeeeeeee!" The Meta-Grue managed to marshall itself some distance away, hovering and readying to resume combat with Jack.

Chris shuffled back, holding his guard up anyway. "Exactly, my skills are in other areas. Thus why I don't need to practice them so hard. It's weird, I can pick up pretty much any skill in a few days, but fighting is the one that continues to elude me. Hell, I find medical textbooks easier than kicking a dude in the nads."
-
Hey, you needed to roll a natural 20 to beat by a mere three. Improbable, yes, impressive, no IC still hates you.

"Powers? Oooh, powers! Chemical exposure gives superpowers! I'm proof! Chemicals, sweet, sweet, heliotrope chemicals... or is it mauve? Prolongeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed.... heh, proloooooooooooonged. Prooooooooolooooooooooongeeeeeeeeeeeeeed. Exposure! Yes, exposure!" "Prolonged exposure could grant superpowers! I mean, reeeeeeeally long-proed. Or prolonged. Longed-pro?"

For Gold, we generally prefer it that you submit a new version of the sheet as usual, rather than doing it via character edits. Although I see nothing that should slow the approval, at least on first glance.

Before Erin had even closed her mouth, Chris spun down low and came up swinging his fist at her face in a wide arc. Retreating from the attack, he brought his arms up high to guard his face and upper torso, feet tensed to duck one way or the other.

OK, assume now Gecks has bought up to Attack +8. (Hey, if he can stroll into a thread, have a medical degree and walk out, he can learn that damn fast ) Geckofeint as a move action for DC 26, although Wander gets +1 to resist. Then defensive attack, -4 to hit, +2 to defence. SHORYUKEN! (1d20+4=15) He's now Defence +13 (+5 flat-footed). Don't hurt him, he's not in costume. :?

Chris sidled up behind Alex as Mark led his new squeeze away. "Well, hey, at least you tried to warn her that he's going to break her heart. I mean, don't get me wrong, I like Mark, but when the only relationship he's had end semi-OK had Mike holding him by the throat... well, sucks." He swigged from his beer as he adjusted the pimp hat to a jaunty angle. "She doesn't deserve that sort of high-school gossip when she's so new to the school..."

Power Attacking for 2, and using autofire to spread 4 squares to hit four enemies. DC 23 attacks. (1d20+10=12) Stupid IC. *throws a HP at it* Grrr (1d20+10=22) And Arrowhawk is flat-footed due to Distracting.

Arrowhawk came out of the shadows, slowing from his outright sprint to the crash site. However, despite the fact he was running as fast as a trained athelete, the Broan still hadn't heard his splashing footsteps. His cloak and hood dripped from the downpour, yet he showed no discomfort as his red eyes fixed themselves upon the alien invaders. One hand came from under his cloak clutching a deadly-looking composite bow, the other clutching a bundle of arrows with blunted tips. Looks like a lot of aliens. Maybe a full squad. And 'only' two capes seem to be tackling them. Easy. Arrowhawk took aim and rapidly started firing arrows at the group of aliens surrounding the electric-wielding woman.

"Hey, I said I could press 700. I didn't say I could do it without passing out if I keep it up for long enough," protested Chris. "Crushing windpipes will take some effort." "Hmmmm... dodging? Pretty good. I mean, I've got really good reflexes. If I know it's coming, I can usually dodge a bullet. Why?"

Would Geckoman be a gecko with the powers of a man? not showing interest, just pondering....

Attack Specialisation 2 in each bolos and shuriken gives you +4 to hit with two ranged weapons, for 4pp. Attack Focus (ranged) 4 would give you +4 to hit with all ranged weapons, for 4pp.

"I'm not sure I can kill someone with a blow to the neck," frowned Chris, stepping up to the dummy. He gave it an experimental prod with one finger, then stepped back and raised his fists. He dropped one fist and whacked the dummy in the stomach, bringing it up again as he smacked it in the neck with the heel of his hand. "Like that?"

"Persuasion? Angel, you loomed up over him and placed what is doubtless a highly strong hand upon his shoulder, then looked right into his eyes. An angel." Arrowhawk laughed and shook his head. "Believe yourself to be God's mercy. You're not persuading them. They think you're God's wrath, come to turn them into a pillar of salt where they stand."

The sword smashed into the Grue's chest, but thick muscles rippled and the attack only slightly hurt him. "Stop talking! Your joking only delays your inevitable demise!" Geckoman kept flying onwards, accelerating until he was nearly completely gone from sight. The Meta-Grue snarled as the airship fled, and returned his attention fully to Jack. "You're alone now, stinging fly. Want a taste of your own medicine?" The huge creature suddenly shrunk into near-nothingness, then summoned up a radioactive blast as strong as before. Although, unfortunately, not as accurate as before as it smashed into the concrete below.

DC 36 fricking Toughness (1d20+16=18) Take your damn Fiat HP and stick it up your... 1d20+16=25 Another bruise! Geckoman flies to achieve RAMMING SPEED. The Meta-Grue will Shrink to teeny-tiny size. His Attack caps at +16 for the Radiation, and his Defence caps at +17 for his +9 Toughness (I'm not dealing with stupid UP Shrinking, which sucks Toughness at no loss in price. It'd also make his defence insane due to trade-offs) Then he make your face asplode: DC 25 DEEEEATH (1d20+16=18)
