It's not really for gameplay effect, I just wanna be Batman :(

AUTOFIIIIIIIRE DC 25 (1d20+8=23) Dc 27 (1d20+16=35) Poopie. Jack, save us!
-
Geckoman looped the Pitchoo around in mid-air as the Meta-Grue flew upwards. "HE FLIES!?" He opened fire once more. Nearly every shot was on target, but the Meta-Grue just held up a hand and a glowing force-field stopped any harm being inflicted. "And makes force fields? Well, crap."
-
"Gah! Shut up and bring me the Atom family!" He was apparently rather annoyed. Once again the meta-Grue staggered back from Jack's blade. "I'll show you science!" Like a shot, the alien flew up into the air and from his hands blasted a gout of glowing green energy towards his enemy, missing by bare inches.
-
When I figure out how it fits into the current big Geckoman storyline timeline-wise? Resisting the taunt (1d20+11=21) Dc 31 save! (1d20+15=28) Another bruise on the Meta-Grue!
-
"See, that's the thing. I can only hit them so much harder. I'm not super-strong and invulnerable, if I go too far I'll break my knuckles..." Geckoman stopped for a second. "Well, that depends where I hit them and even if I do... I'll heal minor fractures really fast!" "Sound like an idea?"
-
The Pitchoo sped towards Midtown, Geckoman flicking switches and pressing buttons. <> "Awesome." Jesus, who the Hell is fighting the Meta-Grue alone? That's cajones. The turrets started spitting electrical blasts of energy at the Meta-Grue as Geckoman swooped his airship in. The shots went wide as the massive alien lunged at Jack, missing by a good couple of feet. "DAMMIT!"
-
Geckoman flies up in Pitchoo. Shoots into melee, so cancelling out Offensive Stance. DC 25 Autofire (1d20+8=15) I hate you all. Jack's up.
-
"Gah!" cried the Meta-Grue as Jack scratched his flesh. "Little insect!" The giant suddenly started shrinking rapidly, stopping as a 8' tall wall of muscle as his hands turned into bone-shod boxing gloves. "YOU AREN'T AN ATOM!" The giant lunged and swung a massive fist towards Jack's head. The swashbuckler easily ducked under the crushing blow.
-
DC 31? Pah (1d20+15=23) Stun? Urgh, he'll ignore the stun. Jack: 4 HP Meta-Grue: Bruised Geckoman: 2 HP Seeing as Jack's a good fighter, perhaps the Grue needs to shrink somewhat (to Large), erecting his Force Field. Then he'll spend his move action Shape-Shifting up: Hulk! Enhanced Strength 15 (to 30) Giant bone knuckles Strike 3 (Mighty) Attack +10 / DC +13 Defence +8 (-1 from Growth, +3 flat-footed)/Toughness +18 (Impervious 8) Offensive stance, and then... WHAM: DC 28 smashin' (1d20+12=31) Misses due to Jack spending a HP to double his Dodge. Down to 3 again.
-
Ok, so: Jack: 3 HP Meta-Grue Geckoman: 2 HP HIT IT
-
Meta-Grue, and Geckoman (1d20+5=23, 1d20+9=20) The cops are kinda insignificant.
-
There he goes... roll Initiative.

The quiet afternoon in Midtown was shattered when someone hurled a car through the front doors of the Goodman Building. The man turned around and, growing to 10 feet tall and becoming a bald, red-skinned monster, wrenched a parking meter from the ground. "WHERE'S THE ATOM FAMILY?" he shouted upwards, bowling over a security guard and crushing his legs with the meter. "BRING THEM OUT, NOW!" Growing to 30' tall, he quickly started punching through chunks of buildings, looming menacingly over the police as they drew up.
-
"Ok, then. No dropping guard. How about THIS!?" said Geckoman, irritated that he wasn't having effect. Stupid invulnerable powers. He kicked off his back leg, jumping up slightly and aiming his front leg in an upwards swing towards Erin's face. Not having feinted meant the easily telegraphed move was pathetically easy to block.
-
Why make Toughness saves? Geckoman can't actually hurt Erin. At all.
-
Your unfortunate lack of imagination? Can I assume arriving via Stealth? With Skill Mastery and taking -20 to run using Stealth, he still gets 11 (plus any circumstance bonuses for them focussing on Electro Lass!)
-
"Fair enough," said Chris, sauntering forwards and raising his fists slightly. "Punchy time." He drew back one hand to punch, dropping the other one to stomach height as he lunged forwards. However, at the last minute he threw aside his raised arm and went to thrust his lowered arm into Wander's stomach.
-
Surprise? I'd say miracle. At the start of thread, his combat stats will still be Attack +6/+8 ranged, and his Defence will be +11/+9 [+3 flat-footed]. (i.e. his old sheet, albeit with his Enhanced Dodge Focus added in). Move action: Skill Mastery Feint as a move action, for 26 to resist. (Wander needs 18 to not drop to Defence +3 ). Then, shift to Offensive Stance and... Geckopuuuuuunch! (1d20+8=16) Well, that'd hit her if she failed to resist the feint. 15% chance to not surprise us both. ;)
-
"I would've, but he'd kind of made it personal. In any case, the building was sealed and smashing in would have got the hostages shot. It's not a huge deal, I'd've needed to learn to fight properly anyway to work the shock knuckles properly." I really need to learn to think up stories in the morning. Or just sleep more. "In any case, I stopped him. Some gadgetry doesn't matter much in the scheme of things."
-
"He took over a radio station and was going to use his freaky sound-based fear stuff on the biggest news channel in the city. I stopped him before he could do it and terrorise us all, but I lost my zappers in the process." Yes... 'lost'... dammit. "We tried to keep it low-key, people panicking is just letting the kook win." "And now I can't stop a gang of thugs, let alone a supervillain. Sucks."
-
Arrownitiative (1d20+9=22) Giz, don't forget Physicus' Enemy complication :P
-
"Ok, then!" said Geckoman enthusiastically. After a few seconds standing there, he suddenly went "Oooh, outside. Got it. Going now," he mumbled, walking backwards out the door and shutting it. Well, that went better than expected. And kitteh!
-
"Eh, whenever. I'll probably be down in the training room all morning." Chris produced a curved yellow piece of metal from his pocket. It appeared to be shaped like a G. "Geckorangs! They're actually really difficult to throw, so I'll practice with them until you come down. Oh... crap, thanks, Erin. You're a pal!"
-
Chris raised an eyebrow quizzically. Weak!? "Strong? Well, sure I lack super-strength. So do Raven, Bowman, and all those other non-powered heroes. I press nearly 700 pounds. All me, no powers. Try me." He slapped his forehead. "Ok, you want the honest answer? I lost them two nights ago, in a thing with Fear-Master and a radio transmission. I'd really, really appreciate your help." Go money-maker. He made his eyes go wide and puppy-like. "Please, Erin?"
