"American hoodlums!?" cried Chris indignantly. "I resemble that remark!" Scooping up a handful of snow, he ran up the tree next to the Russian girl's and clung to it with his feet as he started pelting her with snow. "Apologise for your unfounded accusations of hoodlumness! We are not hoodlums! We are thugs!"

Yes! I'm a huge fan of Elric's work, especially his (many) takes on Batman. I'd agree the Device discount shouldn't apply. I'm inclined to say no. That negates the main downside of VPs to Arrays, that of high cost. You can get a decent array then just use a rank 1 VP for unlimited APs.

"Hmmm... I could probably disable them, the issue is however than you'd then need to get close enough to stop them without triggering the motion sensor. Which is an issue."
-
Well, if I take 20 on it, I can get 30 to Disable each one. It'd just take some time.

GECKONOTICE (1d20+10=23)

"Let's ride!" proclaimed Geckoman, pointing skyward. "With the bare minimum of groping and fondling necessary for our mission ahead!" He went to climb onto the back of Colt's motorcycle.
-
Chris quickly did a one-handed handstand to evade one of the telekinetic snowballs, instantly regretting plunging his hand into the snow. "Coooooooold!" he moaned, rolling forward and hurling the packed snow in his fist towards Mike's head. "I will fell you with snow! AND MORE SNOW!"

It is indeed. Although, knowing him well is a reason not to call him in.
-
Nah, he doesn't deal with them much. They're only his entire reason to be in Freedom City. ;)
-
"Nope. I got evidence bags, I got a computer, but beyond Google I can't actually do much investigation into this stuff unless I get access to a laboratory." Geckoman slammed the drawer shut. "See, I usually don't analyse the locus, I just keep samples and avoid contaminating it."

Power Attack caps at 5.
-
There was a discussion which said you can't have a glide cape as Equipment, unfortunately :(
-
"Exactly, nothing disturbed it except us. No animals, no weather... wind and rain, there's still a uniform coating. Also, were it entirely natural, it'd be concentrated on one side of the trees, from the direction it blew in. Everything's completely even. That's not natural at all. My gut tells me the centre of all this is the answer." Geckoman pulled out an evidence drawer, keeping the bag of soot in a small compartment therein.

IF ANYONE IS GOING TO PENETRATE ACE DANGER, IT'S MEEEE Offensive stance using staff, and Power Attack for 3: DC 23 Strike (1d20+10=14)
-
Arrowhawk was already moving as she darted forwards, lashing out with the staff too late to stop Ace getting skewered like a kebab. "Hey, buttercup. Little girls shouldn't play with swords." He spun and struck fast as a cobra, although he missed, adjusting movements instinctively to armour that wasn't there.

"Well, Valerie, the brochure said it was four-star, I'd hesitate to give it one," quipped Chris, emerging from the undergrowth. "My Winslow was not happy, you know how he gets." He adjusted his goggles. "I'd say we take the path with all the corpses. Logic says the nasty things we're here to investigate are near all the corpses."
-
Or if you want a team-up with an experienced vigilante... ;)
-
Geckoman crouched down, pulling an evidence bag from his utility belt, and a pair of tweezers. Picking up some grains of soot, he dropped them into the bag, then got another tweezerful and sniffed it with his enhanced nose. "Hmmmm..." he frowned, walking back into the Pitchoo and tapping away at the computer console for a bit. "Interesting..."

ENGLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSH!

"The School of MC Hammer," quipped Geckoman, smacking the controls with the mallet again. "My coach was a Timothy Mallet." WHACK! Some lights came back on. "Hurray, the brakes are back on! I missed you guys! Anyway, as I said, Geckoman human is redundant. You've got two mans in there, cut it to Gecko human, or, reaaaaaally wild idea, Geckoman! The Geckoman Whose Brakes Are No Longer Screwed!" He kissed the levers as he brought the ship into a much smoother landing than before.
-
"Wander, you go ahead to the left, I'll go ahead to the right. I'm going to stay hidden, but I'll make sure I can see you guys. Now... I hate lizard smell. Ironic, I know," Geckoman knelt and sniffed the path Wander had found. "Why couldn't I get X-Ray vision? Phalanx gets stupid x-ray vision. I get to sniff stuff." The camo on his costume blending into their jungle environ, ]Chris followed his nose keeping low and attempting to pass unseen.

John reacted nigh-instantly, the John Fraser persona dissipating and the narrow-eyed glare of Arrowhawk sparking across his face. He pulled a small metal rod from his sporran, clicking a button to extend it to an aluminium staff with a ssssssssshink noise. "Hey, arsehole! Did you plan on fighting a good quarter of the city's superheroes, or have you actually got the foresight of a dead ma... oph wait, you are a dead man. Run away with your tail between your legs, corpse boy."
