They should get on. Well, just so we have a team first in terms of actually functioning as a team >.>

On the condition I don't have to die.

Geckoman ran up to the fence and quickly moved up it slightly, bending his knees to prop himself up near the top so he could aim and fire. Extending one arm and flicking his wrist, his zappers started sparking. "Stupid cultists! Taking my Maverick away from me!" shouted Geckoman, before flicking his wrist once more and sending a small bolt of electricity flying at the back of a cultist's head.

You got one for the GM Fiat of the Transform. Have you spent one?

Chris had already pulled out a flash-light and switched it on when James' hand ignited. "Well, sure," he sulked. "Take the superpowered method. But when you get get distracted, this flash-light'll still be on! Due to the power of a switch and AAA batteries!"

Aki was hurled backwards by the blast, landing flat on her back with a huge dent in her chest. Aya fared even worse, the blast hitting her square on and sending her crashing into the back wall, leaving her twitching on the ground in a crackle of electricity, clearly inoperable. Ako, however, reacted in time, leaping up and over the blast and landing deftly after it had passed under her. Geckolass reacted to her sudden jump by opening fire at the android, his shots easily going wide due to how quick she was. In response, she spun around in a vicious roundhouse kick, which was barely dodged by the teenager.

Arrowhawk spun to see the girls fleeing the car. Escape? Heh. He balanced himself perfectly, before nocking and firing a hail of arrows at their backs in quick succession, hoping to at least stun them long enough to catch up with them. The trouble was that this meant he wasn't focussing on anyone else...
-
Autofire attack on the retreating girls. I'll take as many -1/square penalties as I need to hit all of 'em. Shouldn't be too much as they all just vacated the car. Autofire shots! DC 21 Toughness (1d20+16=32)

"Ah, breaking into heavily secured places. Fun times. Last time I did that... well, good thing I can heal. So, who wants to go first into the maelstrom of whirling blades and poisonous gas?" Geckoman moved to the back of the group. "I volunteer Mike. He can take a good hit."

Geckonitiative, the dexterity sensation sweepin' the nation (1d20+3=16)

Well, I've never seen you actually use them. Maybe if you start using them you'd stop feeling you need more :P

The idea that every member of every religion follows its every tenet is both amusing, and in some cases, would be contradictory :P

Geckoman lives with Breakdown, whadda you think? :P

"Aw, man, why do I always end up with the creepy dudes. It's madness. Madness!" said Geckoman, putting his head in his hands. "Ok, we can work together on two conditions. One! Keep your eyes above the shoulder level. That spandex comment scared me with its unyielding creepiness. Two. You speak in coherent sentences. Don't Like. Grunting. Gets on. Nerves."
-
"Ignorance to what the specifics are doesn't really account for the fact you know they're evil Nazi tyrants with giant evil robots. That go boom when you hit them hard enough. Hehe." Chris paused for a second to let his thought processes to back to normal. "Any security measures in there? Because if there are, and you're not saying, I'm going to be miffed. Quite miffed."
-
"Cut off the head and the body dies," grinned Geckoman as he appeared in full costume. "If they've affected people's minds, can they really keep affecting them after we punch them about a bit and leave them unconscious for the cops to lock up? I say we sneak up while they're plotting and cackling, and deliver a swift falcon punch to the nads."

Nothing did, Ny. There is pain.

Jack of all Blades (PL15) - Gizmo (Platinum)
Ecalsneerg replied to Gizmo's topic in Archived Characters
Yeah, that looks a lot better. Attack bonus isn't overpowered, heck, if you look at the admittedly sup-optimal core archetypes, I don't think one has Attack Focus or Specialisation. Approved -
It's one of those unlisted complications because heroes not protecting innocents aren't really heroes :P

TheJoshie - Enigma - PL6 Villain (NPC Tier 2)
Ecalsneerg replied to Thejoshie's topic in Archived Characters
You need to list trade-offs and unspent pp, even if there are none. Could you back and spellcheck it? There are some errors. Also, by Shimbala do you mean Shambala? -
Jack of all Blades (PL15) - Gizmo (Platinum)
Ecalsneerg replied to Gizmo's topic in Archived Characters
I especially like this part of the backstory, due to the obvious plot hooks Adds up. Adds up, however... I'm sorry, but I really am not comfortable with over half of the attack bonus being made up of Specialisation, even if the character is only a sword user. Mainly because it costs 1/4 of base attack. I'd be happier with maybe Attack Spec 2, and the rest made up of Attack Focus (melee). Adds up, although it's Defensive Roll, not dodge. Only defence has dodge bonus. Nice to see you haven't neglected saves though. Most people do. I shed happy, but manly, tears. Adds up. Adds up. Adds up. I'm OK with the drawback on Strike, as it is essentially a flaw on a feat (i.e. Variable Descriptor) So, I would approve were it not for me being incredibly leery of high ranks of Attack Specialisation. -
Thing is, you still have the skills, reach, etc. I'd do it as Permanent Innate Growth, but buy down Str and Con in the base abilities so most of it is made up of the Growth bonuses.

Villain PCs (and Killing and Other Related Stuff) in FC PbP
Ecalsneerg replied to Dr Archeville's topic in Archives
I'd not be against that one. In a dark, gritty setting like the Nolan films, the ferries weren't detonated. In an idealistic setting like this, they definitely wouldn't be. Really depends on the tragedies. Killing family? No. However, putting them in hospital I'm not against, though I can't speak for everyone, as violence is used on this board even if killing isn't. On the one hand, destroying the world involves a lot of killing. On the other hand... it is a classic Silver Age villainous plot. Again, I'd not be against it, because obviously it's not going to succeed.
