  1. I think we decided to keep doing it as we always have so we don't have to go get every sheet edited.
  2. DC 27 Toughness save (1d20+7=15) Failed by 12, so... staggered and stunned. (And before the rule needs reposted again, your guns don't have the lethal only drawback nor did you say lethal damage, so I'm not disabled )
  3. Do I see you? <.< (1d20+18=38)
  4. Chris pondered over it for a second. "Looks like some sort of secret lair or some sort. Didn't you say your parents were superheroes? Did they have some kind of lair? I mean, if you found it in your house, it stands to reason they'd know something about it." He looked through it more carefully, front and back. "Maybe there's a location..."
  5. Dark Star and the Pitchoo flew in and landed above the car parks upper floor, spilling out. It looked deserted from here, but Dark Star could still sense the energy signatures a short distance below them. "Hmmm... you'd think a supervillain would have a more glamourous base, wouldn't you?" whispered Geckolass, "But I suppose it's cheaper to not buy all those death traps and henchmen..." Avenger was still flying there at a slower speed than the others when they passed overhead, and thus could either enter via the roof with the others a short distance behind, or remain some distance away and enter via another of the five floors.
  6. I'm just going to handwave Dark Star as waiting for the arrival of the airship, unless anyone has any objections?
  7. "That simple? Nah, we need a slightly better plan than sail in, smash up, get out," pondered Geckoman. "There's got to be some form of explosives or munitions dump in their base. If we can find a way to get some explosives in there, half our job is done for us already. That said, it'd be best to find this modulator whatsit before it all goes kablooie. We can't risk not getting back home."
  8. Ok, looks good. Couple of quibbles. Can you add in the powers costs, as in: Enhanced Strength 10 [10pp] Immunity 9 (life support) [9pp] Etc, etc. Also, alphabetise the whole feats section. We know he's a master luchador from his background, we don't need it listed as a separate sub-divider for his feats.
  9. As per the request for Geez3r... LOOK! A MALICE! SHOOT IT! Power Attack for 5 vs evil battlesuit guy. DC 26 toughness save with blunt arrow. (1d20+11=18) Hero point! Re-roll <.< (1d20+11=28)
  10. "Dunno. Flashdance? Beatbox? The Break-it-down Boogiemaster?" suggested Chris. "There's gotta be someone you could get an idea from. Such as the people who don't call themselves 'Geckoman'."
  11. "If she cries, I could cry," suggested Chris as he joined the group. "Nothing's more distracting than having a good laugh at a crying man." "And Eddie, man, you clearly have not played Monopoly until the end of the game. It gets wild. And often violent."
  12. This is one of the two big bottleneck threads? Can we kick it up the ass and get it moving fast?
  13. Geckoman walked over and peered at the controls. "Hmmm... looks simple enough. If I can fly something with three control sticks with little difficulty, one with even less should be fine. Besides, if I crash, all I need to do is go for a water landing." "How close is this base to water? It'll be hella easier to get there unnoticed underwater than by flying a submarine at it."
  14. "I've got an airship back home, I can probably fly your 'machine'," said Geckoman, "What is it? Fighter jet? Bomber? Helicopter? Gyroscope? I can give it a go either way."
  15. Ready a shot in case someone in a large metal suit appears. Or some over-muscled idiot. One of the two.
  16. Arrowhawk spun and dived as the explosion occured, his cape taking the brunt of the blast but still leaving him a bit battered and bruised. He stood and turned to Scarab. "Scan for Knieval now, and any unidentified personnel. I'll keep a look-out until we find them." He nocked an arrow and spun, keeping his eyes and ears open for any attackers.
  17. "I tried to get tickets for that, but I was too slow. Got caught up by a robbery, and by the time I got an internet connection... sold out. Kinda sucks." "Then again, after that last gig, I may steer clear for a while. Mind-control is eeeevil."
  18. "'Course I'm right. Talking to people is my thing. Unless they're mind-controlling mutant hookers. Bad times." He pondered for a second. "Why exactly do you think you struggle to talk to people? Is it this confined program you got put in? Because I think what you really need to do is just man up and talk to people whether you feel awkward or not."
  19. That question is directed at everyone OOC, despite who's actually there IC :P
  20. Geckoman leaned against the Pitchoo, pointing a thumb. "Airship, unless you have something else you'd like to do before we go?"
  21. Arrowhawk drew his bow, and quickly fired a series of blunt arrows into the corners of the window to weaken it. Ok, I hope this causes it to spray out less and just collapse... Then he took careful aim and fired a shot dead at the center.
  22. Ok, new edit with less evil cape of doom. Add the following drawback: Disability (Bad leg, uncommon, minor, -1pp) Also, reallocate his skills as follows. No change in cost: Acrobatics -2 ranks, Intimidate +2 ranks, Knowledge [streetwise] +1 rank: Acrobatics 2 (+7) Intimidate 13 (+15) Knowledge [streetwise] 14 (+16) Ok, next bit. Change his trade-off for -5 DC for +5 Attack. Increase his Attack by 2, for Attack +11 base, +14 ranged, +16 bows Then drop his Device from rank 6 to rank 5, with the following change to the array: Add the Jack of all Trades feat. Increase his Will by 1 pp, for Will +7 (+3 Wis, +4) Edit his equipment as following: Increase Protection 3 [subtle] -> Protection 4 Add night vision goggles (1 ep, no extra cost as 2 ep unspent) Also, to reflect his updated armour, his description needs tweaked. Description: Arrowhawk is a tall, menacing figure, broad-shouldered and muscled. He is aclad in a solid-looking black armour, made of many interlocking plates for maximum flexibility. A cape flows down from the shoulders to about knee level, concealing a longbow and quiver clipped to the back of the armour. His face is hidden by a sleek cowl, leaving only his mouth exposed. The eye-slits are covered by red flare-resistant lenses, which can glow in the night if Arrowhawk so chooses. Across his chest is emblazoned the stylised logo of a white hawk in flight. As noticeable in his civilian identity, John Fraser is visibly aged, beginning to grey and heavily scarred ‘from sports’. However, he takes great pains to be less of an imposing figure to conceal his identity. Due to an 'incident' in a supervillain's HQ, he walks with a visible limp. He should have 1pp left after this edit. Exploding Vampires for all!
  23. MCBE? Geez3r? Sandy? Pikachu!
  24. Crashing into a car and setting the alarm off, Geckoman fell flat onto his face on the pavement as his assailant strode over. "Enjoying all those fun gadgets you took from that warehouse?" His jaw dropped. "Wha- Who- What are you?" he managed before another blast of electricity hurled him flat against the ground despite his efforts to roll out of the way. However, he felt the pain fading away quickly as the girl laughed. "I'm Spellbound, and I built all your toys, I built your airship and you stole it. I suppose you showing up here is just good luck for me, eh?" Oh. Damn. He rolled upwards as the next blast hit him, the lightning clipping him and just scorching his costume. "Not especially," quipped Geckoman as he shot a bolt of electricity from his zappers. The girl ducked and rose with her weapon pointed at his chest. "Stay down when I shoot you!" Another blast hit the teen hero square in the chest, but he remained upright. Owowowowowowowowowowowow "Damn you!" she hissed, running back towards the bank.
  25. Compressed combat notes: Post 3: Surprise round! Fiat to Bruise and Stun Gecks, with some added 'leave the building'. Gecko-initiative, Spellnitiative (1d20+3=12, 1d20+1=8) Round 1: Geckoman lies there, but this does count as a full round for regeneration... DC 10 (1d20+1=4) Or not. EDIT: I just realised you auto-pass bruise regeneration. So bleh. Spellbound walks up and shoots him. -4 to his Def for being prone in melee. Attack Def 13 (1d20+8=21). He fails the DC 23 by 14, so spends one of his three HP to re-roll... Weee (1d20+5=6) Fails by 7 instead, so is bruised again and stunned for another round. Round 2: Geckoman recovers from his bruise after lying on the pavement for a while. Spellbound shoots him. Fails by 14 again, another HP! Unhurt! Round 3: Geckoman stands up from prone as a move action, then shoots. And misses! Spellbound makes no such mistakes. Thank god for natural 20s. She turns to run back into the bank.
