Throwing himself back and letting the blow glance across his costume, Gecks whirled quickly about and smashing his fist into the tiger's side. He followed this up by quickly bounding away towards the smoke machine. He was feeling tired from having to dodge so sharply. This wasn't looking good.

HIT Science & Engineering Lecture Series, v.2
Ecalsneerg replied to Dr Archeville's topic in Hanover
Arrowhawk allowed himself a small smile as his arrow shot the fleeing criminal out of the air. He brought the bike to a stop as the police approached. He raised an eyebrow at the gun in the cop's holster. That's what I hate about here. Back home, the police with guns... that's their job, they train constantly. Here, every policeman gets one regardless of whether they're suited to that field or not. Irresponsible. "Yes, I'd mind. I'm sure these gentlemen would be more co-operative, though." He spun the bike on the spot, revving the engine hard. He sped off before anyone could comment further. -
HIT Science & Engineering Lecture Series, v.2 [OOC]
Ecalsneerg replied to Dr Archeville's topic in Archives
Ooooh... never interacted with the policve before. Nor do I plan to. -
Make it a 20... (1d20+8=17) Heck, he went for a re-roll, why not? (1d20=15) Well, phoo-ey. Bring on the demolitions!

Arrowhawk had the time and date of the trial, and the location. The Captain would undoubtably make a break for it, and he'd shown before that he was a tenacious man. He could easily manage to escape if nobody was around to stop him. Thus it was that a man in dark clothing and a mask was perched on the opposite building, keeping an eye and ear out for any action. His civilian identity had little connection to Knieval, and his presence would be suspicious. But Arrowhawk staking out a recent collar... not so suspicious.

I'm back and in pain. Sunburn weeeeeee.

"Monday, Obamaaaa, and four." He leaned back hard agianst the wall. Geckoman managed to put the card in his belt. "Thanks. Anytime, I guess... Just maybe with some painkillers beforehand." "I think we find the best friend, whoever she may be, and get her the heck out of dodge. But that second line... that's a line from a song. Take Me Out to the Ball Game. Hmmm... Is there a baseball game tomorrow?"

Alrighty. Approved. -
He's not talking about her name or acting? *wolf whistles* Also, alternate interpretation of the plot, possibly slightly offensive, but spoilered just in case it gives the plot away: "Ok, so I have to save this man so I can send him back in time to make out with my mom!"
-
"I'm good at talking... but y'know, you kind of... tongue-tie me. Weird," said Geckoman vaguely. Then his vision cleared and he looked up, eyes shooting wide open. Thank god the mask covers most of the redness... He paused for a second, trying to think of how to continue from that one. "What just hit me? And who? I'll go kick their ass... well, give me an hour. Maybe three." He sat up the Raven pulled her fingers away. "Did I stop him getting hit?"

That's me moving between the detective and the airplane. If that wouldn't stop it ordinarily, I'll spend a HP to interpose.
-
Gecks turned from the scene to see the plane flying towards the detective. It looked... pointy. Oh. That'll hurt. "Detective, get down!" shouted the youth, coiling to spring and diving between the detective and the dart. "Paper airplane!" How ridiculous do I sound?

Both my edits were lumped in other my monthly one, due to buying Equipment ranks.

Arrowhawk is unlikely to go in for the trial, but if a break-out attempt occurs, he's outside waiting... Convenient considering my holiday ;)
-
It started as the former, but after so much time spent gathering information and trawling through sewers... people are probably heading off to church, although I confess I don't know exactly how early people tend to go to church.

I demand to blow up Belphegor's shop. It'd be a supervillain twofer!

Bee-Keeper II, The (PL6 NPC, Tier 2)
Ecalsneerg replied to Avenger Assembled's topic in Non-Player Characters
I think I want to have your babies now. ... did we expect anything else. I like it. He's got tragedy, and he's also a homage to Silver Age goofiness. Adds up. Adds up, but you omitted the flat-footed listing. Adds up. I'd normally question the saves, but most battlesuit wearers are statted with lower saves than most. Perform (bluster) would probably be Perform (Oratory) with the bluster descriptor. The Perform skills are meant to be fairly broad-ish. Total ranks is also missing. Adds up anyway. Adds up. Adds up. However, no Communication? Is it deliberate that he can receive but not send radio transmission? Could you add the bonuses into the skill block in the format (+x/+y)? It'd make things easier for us. Also, is the epi-pen to stop him accidentally stinging someone with an allergy to death? Adds up. However, with only +1 to Sense Motive, that vulnerability could be exploited by pretty much everyone. Would gloating pretty much mean stop fighting to gloat, or gloat while fighting? They're called Complications Good Complications, appropriate to his background. -
Marionette II (PL10 NPC, Tier 1)
Ecalsneerg replied to Avenger Assembled's topic in Non-Player Characters
Ah, good to see a well thought-out reason why they can have a secret ID Sounds interesting, and ties into the setting. Adds up. Wouldn't it be more efficient to have Defence 8 and Dodge 4, rather than 9 and 3? Adds up, in any case. All adds up. Adds up. Shouldn't she have Profession (Librarian) or some knowledge of the Arts? Adds up. However, a couple of issues. 1. Would some of the Dodge Focus, Defensive Roll and Uncanny Dodge come from powers? If so, wouldn't they be enhanced? 2. Tough isn't allowed on this site. It'd be Protection 1 with the 'training' descriptor Adds up. What Golden Age legacies would she specifically target, not having Freedom's Most Wanted? -
Geckoman chose not to comment on this. Suspected he knew. Well... its was a bit obvious. But just a little. Wait... now I'm lying in my internal monologue. Interesting. Again with the shoulder! Breeeeeeathe... and release! "Works for me," said Chris, pulling the ship up and landing it on the roof, small legs coming out to steady the ship. Geckoman didn't bother swooping down on his cape, but rather just let himself fall face-first, catching himself on the side of the building and crawling down it. His face appeared upside down in the window... to the sight of a lot of cops. Aaaaaaah. Police-type people! He crawled into the window a bit, reversing his stance to fall to his feet. Now... avoid looking dizzy! This isn't good. I usually just fly about, stop a car-jacker, maybe a mugging... I don't do police stuff. I would'nt know how. Chris looking around for a bit, pausing to think. A pause which unfortunately took into account the dead body on the floor. "Other than the fact he died screaming?" said Chris, trying to keep his voice level, "Two name badges for a Kate and Betty Adams, along with two keys and cells which I assume are theirs. Do they live here is probably what I'd want to go look up... They work for FoxCo, a jewelry store in Bayview. You chased Conundrum into that store not too long ago. I can't comment on forensics, or cause of death, or whatever, but I reckon the fact they don't have their cells or keys on them is pretty suspect in itself."
