  1. I will be away from Thursday to Monday, rocking out at a music festival. I'm actually back on Monday, but... yeah, let's say I couldn't look at a screen.
  2. Who said I wasn't coming back after you? :P
  3. This is related. For those who've seen one, or both of the following: 1. 'World War Three', the episode of Doctor Who where a missile is launched at 10 Downing Street and they shelter in a small cupboard (small, square, sturdy...) 2. Indiana Jones and the nuclear refridgerator. Would that description with an elevator be sufficent to Extra Effort up Evasion 2 :P
  4. I'm going to use the elevator as a shield, Indiana Jones refridgerator style. I may end up miles away, but survival will ensue!
  5. I'd be forced to ask 'WTF' if the police arrived within less than a minute or two, why would Knieval? :P
  6. "Hey, Bowman! Remember me?" *crash face-first onto lawn*
  7. I'd say there'd be a limit where, despite the rules, it may have to be cut down for sensibility. For example, not ammunition dump is ever going to churn out nuke-level damage. Maybe a load of Progression, but it shouldn't be able to kill Centurion or Captain Thunder, for example.
  8. "Oh god... so much ammunition... No. Nobody has any right to have this much firepower." He strode across the room, pulling out an explosive arrow as he did so. Pulling a small device from his belt, he pushed it into the head of the arrow, and tossed it lightly into the centre of the room. He continued into the elevator, pressing the button for the next floor up. After a short wait, he pulled a detonator from his pocket and pressed it as soon as he thought he'd reached the next floor.
  9. Ok, so Arrowhawk: 4 HP (1 base, 1 Luck, 2 Complications) Malice: 2 VP (1 base, 0 Luck, 1 Complication) Now, for the fun part. I'm down to 3 HP, because of this trick. Power stunt up the following off my array. AP: Blast 7 (Extras: Explosion, PFs: Triggered [detonator]) It's all your fault, really. You reminded me of his dislike of firearms, it's only in-character :P
  10. I agree he should get one for the Complication of being caught in his home, but not being outside of the suit, since he already has Normal Identity as a drawback. I don't think Hawky should get one for the door shenanigans either, as I've been rewarded for being unable to break in... I have pp spare from not buying the relevant skills. Is the elevator similarly password-protected?
  11. We do generally use the benchmarks on p30 of the core rulebook. And of course there's a point where you become explicitly superhuman. This may be a comic book, but it's not Dragonball Z :P
  12. Ok, deal was if I took 20 I got a penalty to Stealth from mud and odour. Which is very true. And I can't break in sneakily. He has good defences. So... power attack for 5 with explosive arrows. As many DC 26 blasts as the door can take before a big enough hole forms (i.e. disabled)
  13. The house does resemble the colouration of his armour. However, it could be a ruse. To build that armour, he's got to be smarter than me. I can't do this conventionally. So, I now have to wade through *$!^ to get there... Arrowhawk pulled up a sewer grate and swung himself down, being careful to bring the grate back over the hole. A quick scan around for some sign of Malice's entry proved fruitless. "Oh, no..." moaned the archer, "I am going to reek after this. After a long, intensive period of raking through muck and gloom, he found a door, with a cleaner (only by comparison) area denoting that Malice was perhaps using it. After all, if he sprayed away the muck, he'd be less likely to sully his armour, would he? "Secure," said Arrowhawk appraisingly. Right, I can't hack the alarm system. Plan B. If he can smell me coming... then I suppose a little noise won't matter. He pulled out a handful of explosive arrows and began firing them into the metal door.
  14. I absolutely do not have a nuclear arrow. That would be irresponsible.
  15. And you neglected to post the save itself... ;)
  16. Arrowhawk had scoured most of the city all night. Malice had to have been seen leaving somewhere by someone in this city. If he could find where, he could get to his lab, get back his arrows and destroy all research done into them. Dropping into Riverside, he went to work. The homeless and insomniacs... they were good sources. They saw a city nobody else did. They could give him something to work with. And they did.
  17. March 29th, 2009: Malice stole Arrowhawk's arrows. To stop that technology being in villainous hands, Arrowhawk attempts to find and break into Malice's headquarters. The Arrow Strikes Homes
  18. That'd put him up to Strength 26, which is just superhuman. Why would he go from being an extremely strong human being to a low-level metahuman?
  19. And Arrowhawk... again, I'd like to incorporate his Wealth tune-up just to make this quicker and more inclusive. I'd like to add another Equipment rank, for 6. Also, I believe commlinks are free and he'd have one to communicate with the Knights. I previously had a club, which I dropped due to lack of use and points. I'd like to re-add it. The other ep, I'll leave free for now. Right, three more pp. I'd like to put 2 into Saves; with one going into Reflex and one going into Will. Reflex +10 (+5 Dex, +5) Will +6 (+3 Wis, +3) I'll leave my other pp free for now. Done by Sandman XI
  20. "More legally questionable than wearing spandex and beating up criminals? Anyway, I reckon we should go check the place out before we stake it out. They'd probably not take kindly to us just waltzing in and asking to look about, so... what time's the place closed? We could go take a look-see."
  21. No, he finished them just after his origin story. Power attack for 5! DIE KNIVAL, DIE! ...wait, bludgeoning. DC 26 (1d20+9=28) And, I rolled a 19, so Critical hit... DC 31, villain!
  22. Arrowhawk sighed as the criminal kept on fleeing, keeping the bike racing after him. "This guy is really starting to tick me off," he growled, pulling back another arrow and firing it at Knieval. It hit dead on. "Hah!" he shouted, dropping back down to keep the bike under better control.
  23. Hiatus over! Right, let's get this plan into action. I'll need rolls appropriate to your plan of action, and probably you should state it clearly as my head is still a bit funked up.
