  1. Actually, no. I typoed it and 30' is my range increment, 300' is my maximum range :(
  2. Am I to assume your grapple roll was a re-roll resulting from using your HP? Be clear, godammit EDIT: And with Moira's current absence, Divine becomes Schrodinger's Goddess. She'll not be with the group while Moira is away, but if she returns and wants to play this thread, she was here all along you blind fools.
  3. How many 300' range increments from the roof of the HIT would Knieval currently be? That also reminds me of how I really need to buy Improved Range and Progression for this thing. ;)
  4. I can't really see what a gravitic field sense would tell him about her being a robot, considering she isn't any heavier than a normal human being.
  5. Could've told me before editting it all Well, it seems he still has Ranged Pin, and Sneak Attack wasn't added, so his total number of feats still adds up to 26 pp. Hmmm... I could delay upgrading his Reflex save and Sneak Attack until next month, that'd bring me back to my normal pp total. I also just realised how short range a longbow is by the rules. 180-250 yards is what a well-made longbow can fire, according to some Google hits, so I'd like to add Improved Range [75' increments] and Progression [range, 750'] to his Blast slots in the array. Brings the range up to an appropriate level.
  6. Round 1... FIGHT! Avenger - Init 22 - Unharmed [yet, bwahahaha], 1 HP Dark Star - Init 20 - Unharmed, 2 HP Angel Android - Init 19 - Unharmed Hellbound - Init 18 - Unharmed, 1 HP Divine - Init 16 - Unharmed, 1 HP Wesley - Init 11 - Unharmed, 3 HP Geckoman - Init 10 - Bruised x 2, Staggered, Stunned, Prone, 3 HP Doc A - Init 2 - Unharmed, 3 HP Avenger doesn't recognise the android, but realises the kid is known as Geckoman. Wesley recognises the Angel Android as one of Doc Otaku's favourite henchmen. They seem to be prominent in any crime he's involved in. Doktor Archeville knows that the Angel Android was made by the renowned child prodigy Doc Otaku, and are shown in most reports to have been super-agile and very strong. The flight seems new, though. Divine knows all of the above
  7. Effortlessly dodging the blow, Arrowhawk pivoted and fired arrows in rapid succession, first hammering into the man who'd attacked him and leaving him unconscious on the floor. With near-mechanical precision, he repeated the process towards the escaping man, knocking him to the ground as a well-placed arrow hit him in the temple.
  8. Using my Autofire attack over enough squares to hit both the guy who swung at me and his escaping friend. Even power attacking for 4, I can hit over 8 squares and still hit them taking 10 for minions, so basically unless there's more than a 40' line between the two I hit them. Neither of the two made the saves, even with my typoing DC 24 to DC 25
  9. Big editting to Arrowhawk. He has 3 pp to spend. Saves: Reflex Save +1 (1 pp) Fortitude +6 (+3 Con, +3) Reflex +9 (+5 Dex, +4) He successfuly dodged a massive necromantic blast in Low Places, so he got a bit more dodgy. Also, Fort save had a typo in it. Skills 160r=40pp -6 ranks in Diplomacy -5 ranks in Survival +1 rank in Intimidate, Knowledge: Streetwise, Stealth Net loss of 2 pp. Arrowhawk has never seemed diplomatic in his threads, and at time of design I thought tracking people down was Survival just as it is in D&D. However, he's becoming scarier, sneakier and more street-smart. Intimidate 11 (+13) Knowledge [streetwise] 13 (+15) Stealth 16 (+21, Skill Mastery) Feats 26 pp Another net loss of 2 pp. I decided to remove Assessment and Favored Enemy, as neither are used and the latter breaks caps after my next change. I'd like to add Sneak Attack, as I like the idea of his opening shot being quite deadly (he's not likely to feint in combat, however). I'd also like to drop Ranged Pin. It's never been used, and the more I think of it the more it seems to me like a Hero Point usage rather than a regularly-used feat. I'd like to spend his remaining 6 pp on a new bow array: Device 6 (Bow and trick arrows, 30 points, Easy to Lose) Devices: Bow & Arrows (30 points) Snare 8 (Extras: Constricting, PFs: 6 Alternate Powers) 30 pp AP: Blast 3 (PFs: Improved Critical, Mighty 3, Variable Descriptor [bludgeoning/piercing/slashing], 8 Alternate Powers) AP: Blast 3 (Extras: Autofire; Flaws: Distracting; PFs: Improved Critical, Mighty 3, Variable Descriptor [bludgeoning/piercing/slashing]) AP: Blast 3 (Extras: Penetrating 6; PFs: Improved Critical, Mighty 3) AP: Fatigue 8 (Extras: Ranged) AP: Nullify 8 (technology descriptor, all at once) AP: Obscure 6 (visual, 250' radius, Extras: Independent) I dropped Stun and Dazzle, again due to never being used. He has Luck for a reason, and the build is long overdue a streamline. I built him as a newb, y'know :P
  10. Firstly, it took me a minute to grasp how this was formatted. It might be for the best to have a full sheet for each one, i.e. abilities, combat and saves listed separately for the Sorceress and Dragon form. Adds up. Sorry, I'm not allowing you have no base attack at all, and make up caps simply by buying Attack Focus. If she was trained by one of Omega's elite henchmen, she should at least be on par with an Earth soldier, with Attack +5, then add Attack Focus on top from each form. Adds up anyway. Adds up in either case, but the format here is really confusing, like I said. Adds up. I should have noted before, Strength from Growth doesn't improve your Strength-based skills like Climb. Also, again, please list this for both forms. Adds up, but see above for my consensu on Attack Focus. Adds up. Adds up, see above yet again. Adds up, although you didn't need to go the whole way and have no Strike (teeth and claws) at all. Maybe Strike 2-3?
  11. Ok, with those adjustments... Approved by Ecalsneerg
  12. Arrowhawk laughed at the suggestion to reveal his identity. "Sorry, but maybe if I'd known you all for a few more years. I have spent two decades in this life, getting shot, stabbed, blown up and having bizarre abilities used against me. My secret identity is my only respite from that, and I'm not giving it up just for the sake of a shelter." He turned and went to walk away from the group. "You ever need me," he said, turning round. "I operate on comms frequency 432 Hz." He squeezed his earpiece to emphasise the point. He walked out of the area, glancing back unable to see the group. Firing off his grapple line, he swung up onto a nearby rooftop and slunk off into the darkness. OK, that's my mandatory superpowered vampire for the week. Now, to go look into that skinhead problem...
  13. I've no idea if that frequency would actually work for sending and receiving messages, but hey. Comic book logic! I don't need your stinking bedsit anyway. <.<
  14. As a Pl 10, and not a weak one at that, he's not exactly a rookie. He's just a bit too idealistic, like the DCAU's Captain Marvel.
  15. Ironic, considering (unless I read someone's background wrong), Scarab should be the only one with more experience than Arrowhawk. :D
  16. April 12th, 2009: The Great Genderswitch Caper: Avenger, Hellbound, Dark Star, Divine, Doktor Archeville, Geckoman and Wesley Knight have been used as the test subjects for Dok Otaku's new improved Gender Ray®. They need to fix this problem (duh) ! Also, save the citizens was listed twice. I'm not sure which is accurate.
  17. You can have the rivalry with Malice. Knieval is Arrowhawk's archenemy now Neither of them are going to harm us while we're down apparently, although leaving us in the gutter in humiliating enough.
  18. I'll just stick it down as April the 12th, since you asked in the timeline thread to get your wings before this thread. And wings will help you. Yes indeed. :D
  19. IC OOC Go forthy, Knights of Freedom! Make the inevitable intro posts! Roll initiatives! Revel in Geckoman being thrown into a wall by a super-strong android!
  20. Geckoman is going to start with two arbitrary bruises. Combined with the fact he didn't even get to contest being smashed into a wall, I'd say he deserves a HP when he finally gets up. Initiatives all round!!! Angel Android Geckoman Angel Android - Init 19 - Unharmed Geckoman - Init 10 - Bruised x 2, Staggered, Stunned, Prone, 3 HP DC 20 Knowledge: Technology check to recognise the android as a robot, but only a DC 15 Knowledge: Pop culture check to recognise the Angel Android as one of the favoured minions of the supervillain Doc Otaku.
  21. Date: April 12th, 2009 A brief meeting of the Knights of Freedom had just broken up, and the members went to disperse, chatting as they went. They'd held the meeting in a disused warehouse up a back alleyway, for secrecy. For heroes such as Dark Star and Doktor Archeville, it was slightly distasteful. For those such as Avenger and Hellbound, it was a typical night. As the group walked out of the alleyway and went to walk or fly their respective ways, they heard a loud voice off to the side. A young-looking hero in a green outfit was being held aloft by a girl in a Japanese schoolgirl's uniform. "Hey, if you want to manhandle me, at least buy me a drink fiiii...." he began before being hurled at a nearby wall. Forcing a large dent into the brickwork, Geckoman crashed to the floor accompanied by several loose bricks. The girl then turned to face the assembled heroes, a cheerful smile on her face. "Tee-hee-hee! He was no fun! I hope you guys aren't like that wet blanket!" "I resemble that remark," murmured a muffled voice from his prone position face-down on the pavement.
  22. I blew up a vampire's chest :D :D
  23. I figured I could get through the hole in the roof and walk over it a short distance as a double move with a grapple gun. Then I bust out Ultimate Aim. :D
  24. Arrowhawk, quick as a flash, had fired his grappling gun and swung up onto the roof. "Ok, let's see if I can still hit a man from across a city..." said Arrowhawk, walking slowly across the roof and preparing an arrow.
  25. I'd like to put forward Geckoman for this thread.
