  1. Give me a dragon and we'll test it out.
  2. Power Attack for 5 with explosive arrows, Dc 26 penetrating 4 (1d20+9=22) Dammit, missed. Last hero point. Re-roll (1d20+9=27) Critical hit on an 18! Wooooo.... Dc 31 explosion! WOOOO
  3. The plan was going to Hell, almost literally. An undead demon thing had opened a portal to Hell and was trying to suck people into it. An ancient vampire had stabbed Avenger, and shrugged off his conventional arrows. "Silver? Magic? Too complicated," he stated, aiming a black-tipped arrow at the vampire and letting fly.
  4. He can taste my blood all he likes, but if he tries anything on, he can wait for a lovely little kiss, Glasgow style.
  5. When you say long enough, as I noted in the ref forum, even factoring in a lot of banter it's been less than a minute or two since the last set of cops were driven off. While sirens would be in the distance, I doubt they'd arrive quite that fast.
  6. Arrowhawk resisted the urge to cry out once again as he felt his wound knit up once again. This is why I do my own thing usually. Less bloody superpowers. Regaining a solid footing, he began firing a volley of arrows into the Red King, slowly backing away as he did so. "Don't enjoy your freedom too much, my liege," growled the Scotsman sarcastically through clenched teeth and the relentless twang of the bowstring.
  7. Or near-superhuman accuracy. EDIT: Distracting Autofire volley of piercing arrows, DC 21 with +1 Autofire (1d20+14=23). I did not miss. I merely deferred aiming. Re-roll! (1d20+14=20) + 10 for rolling 6 = 30. So, DC 22 piercing shots. Now, I'm down to Def 15. Bye-bye, breathing. I won't miss you too much.
  8. It looks like a hooded jumper and tracksuit bottoms. *facepalms*
  9. And Cyroa is out all weekend.
  10. I get stabbed and what do you all do? Attack the mooks! Thank you very much.
  11. Night on the Tiles really needs wrapped up.
  12. Stunned.
  13. Arrowhawk had quickly rolled behind the altar and somehow completely shielded from the blast. This respite was short-lived, as the Red King burst through the altar and forced Arrowhawk to move back as the wreckage scattered. Then the demon filled the room with darkness, and before Arrowhawk had a chance to evade the blow, had thrust his sword through Arrowhawk's side. "AARGH!" he roared in pain, staggering backwards as the sword was withdrawn. That'll definitely need looked at, but hopefully it didn't hit anything too vital.
  14. Fantastic. I'll edit accordingly. And it's generally best to tell players what they're rolling for, because players like posting :P
  15. Dc 26 Toughness save (1d20+8=11) I'm assuming this is from the altar shattering, but if it isn't tell me and I'll go back and edit. Dc 26 Toughness save (1d20+8=11) God, I'm rolling poorly. I'll use one of my 3 HP, bringing me back to my starting total of 2. Re-roll the DC 26 toughness (1d20+8=10), add 10 for the terrible roll for 20. I'm bruised, probably injured, and stunned.
  16. Right, I just realised something. Most of Geckoman's toughness comes from his costume, and I see his Raven one providing at least some protection (he seems the type who'd enjoy having a Raven costume). Thing is, it probably shouldn't provide as much. So should I treat it as Protection 1 or 2 instead of Protection 3?
  17. Actually, Attractive 4 provides a +16 bonus to bluff and diploacy, which counts against skill caps. The maximum rank she can have is +15, so Attractive 3 is the limit.
  18. Updated. To clarify, this is intentionally similar to the other power which does this, only with a sustained morph any humanoid?
  19. DC 22 Reflex save (1d20+8=15) Had to use a HP, so... Dc 22 Reflex save (1d20+8=16) 26 with the +10 for rolling an 8, and evasion so dodged! Arrowhawk ducks behind the altar *facepalm* Notice 28, Skill Mastery
  20. Adds up. Adds up, although I don't think it's entirely cricket to have +0 attack and having the heavily flawed alternate forms include Accurate 5 powers. Why does she lack any ability to hit things outwith her alternate forms, especially having received three years worth of training. Adds up. Adds up. Adds up, with two concerns. One, we prefer feats to be listed one at a time in a list, like skills. Two, having no base attack, lots of ranks of attack focus and Accurate 5 isn't really very fair. This adds up to 65 pp, but with a long list of concerns: None of the flaws on her alternate forms are appropriate. With continuous duration on the alternate form the concentration check is not a flaw considering she'd never really have to exit the form, and even so, she'd have to make one check and be in that form for as long as possible. With continuous duration and innate, she can't even be stunned or nullified to force her to exit the form and return to it. The same concern applies to the full action flaw. As was recently house-ruled officially, and has been board practice for many months, action is a drawback on containers, not a flaw. So full-round would be a -3 pp drawback. Why is her Flight Innate? It's worth noting that having it innate means there is no way for it to be drained or boosted by characters like kinetic or time controllers. Why is this? Also, why would no descriptor be able to nullify it? I'll await an in-depth critique on the alternate forms later, as you will need to rework them, but I have a few questions upfront: I've mentioned the Accurate 5 concern before, so I'll not repeat it. Why is the dragon not very strong for its size (it's Strength 16, something most human-level heroes will equal or exceed pretty easily), and by contrast, why do its claws and teeth do so much damage not from Strength? Also, why is it Autofire 2? That is not a viable flaw on Charisma, as it would very rarely be used in a situation where you are not visible. An attractive appearance would be modelled using the Attractive feat. I'm not saying this is a poor concept. I'm not, in fact, it's a pretty good one. But, the problem is in that you've executed the build of it in a way which is questionable in a lot of areas, I'm afraid.
  21. One other question I have is why does a military man have such a low melee bonus? That's not even on a level of beat cops on Earth, let alone the military.
  22. Arrowhawk landed deftly on his feet, in a slight crouch. By the time he'd stood upright, he already had his bow in hand and a sharp-tipped arrow nocked. Ok, priority seems to be to get the staff, but I'm not the best to guard it. After all, I need both hands to use the bow. So, let's just fight things. "Hey, vampire!" called Arrowhawk at Orloff. "Suck on this!" He let an arrow fly into the monster's shoulder.
  23. I'm using the Trick function of Bluff to make the vampire do something unwise, i.e. attack me rather than Hellbound. It's a move action, so the bonus is low, but hey. Worth a shot. My arrow is piercing, so lethal damage.
  24. I call dibs on the vampire.
  25. Says one of the darker and edgier PCs :P
