  1. If I read correctly, Doc said to take standard action as a -2 drawback rather than a -2 flaw. That or just have it as a permanent container with the Normal Identity drawback, not using it as a Device.
  2. Arrowhawk has met nobody here in any other threads.
  3. The Arrowhawk's bike screeched up beside the Spartan. He leapt clean off it and stood not yet drawing his weapons. Nobody seemed to be fighting anymore, but the woman was still there. "Aristodemus, what's happening now? It's... quieter than I expected."
  4. Hence why I want one. :D
  5. They're the saner items in there. Other threads have seen fire extinguisher arrows, and I could maybe persuade the refs to give me orichalchum arrows.
  6. Initiative (1d20+9=18)
  7. Just wait until I bring out the chainsaw arrow. ;)
  8. EMP arrows... check. Explosive arrows... check.

    Null

I can't see Arrowhawk being a PL 14/250 pp character, in the same way I can't see Batman as a PL 14 character. 250 pp maybe, but he'll max out at a certain point. I can see a PL 14's +17 to hit, but not +11 damage. On the other hand, if I did build him at that pp cost I could have a sidekick (he is getting on a bit) and be a street-level God.
  10. Arrowhawk extra efforts himself up a Fire Extinguisher Arrow! Nullify Fire Descriptor 4 (Extras: Area - Explosion). How effective would these be? After all, fire prevention systems for HQs are based on Nullify 5 so I reckon it shouldn't damp in completely, but at least bring the inferno down a bit.
  11. Arrowhawk drew his bow and a small red-tipped arrow from his quiver as the crew stepped back from the inferno. "Get them out of here," Arrowhawk barked at the cowboy, sweat trickling down his brow. It was hot in here. Really hot. He fired the arrow at the floor in the inferno, the red capsule exploding and sending flame-retardant foam in a rapidly-expanding mass across every surface.
  12. "Yeah, I need to go grab a snack and my costume too. And refill on smokebombs. They all get used so fast... Six seems fine, it'll give me time to prep the ship as well. See ya later," he said, turning to leave. Hah, and he never suspected a thing! Hah! What does 'prep the ship' even mean? "Coolio. By the way, where's your bathroom, I need to clean up a little. Spandex clings. And it's sweaty. I also need to alert the dorms, probably..." pondered Chris. "Anyway, couldn't you just set it up to alert you when he does come on? Saves you sitting staring at the screen all night hoping he turns up?
  13. John Fraser turned up in his semi-formal attire. He didn't often wear a suit, but he'd dug one out and got it dry-cleaned. Not quite Prada, but smart enough. Trouble often had a habit of finding him, so he'd taken the time to stash his bow and costume in his motorcycle, as well as spending an hour finding a well-located space for said bike. The upshot of this was that he'd arrived early, and was able to take a seat in the middle near a fire exit. He reclined back in his chair and waited to listen to a fine scientific mind. John didn't often attend lectures now, his nightime activities curtailing his scientific work. Building high-tech arrows was the best he had done in years. But a lecture from Dr Archeville was worth breaking that habit for, all things considered. The man was a genius even by superhero standards after all.
  14. John Fraser, MSci, is here. ;)
  15. Seeing as we're wrapping this up, should we start the meet-up thread to form the team soon?
  16. "Then we are left with one option, Dar... I mean, Quark. We must go to the park tomorrow and meet this man!" He spun and pointed wildly into the air. "This looks like a job for two schoolkids in costumes!" "A local storekeeper in Riverside Park? Hold on... me and Darian met a guy there yesterday. I'll take you there, yeah. I'll fill you in on what we did there en-route," said Chris. Odd. This man seems to like young superhumans. Very odd.
  17. I could try to force a window while they're occupied with you. After that I could easily slip in unnoticed. But in future, you might want to be more subtle with mind-probing, I felt you as soon as you tried. The Arrowhawk stood flat against the wall, waiting for sounds of a ruckus before he acted.
  18. Good thing I carry explosive arrows, eh? Posting reaction now.
  19. I'll wait a few 'rounds' before showing up on the scene. Even at full speed, he's not going to cross a fair chunk of city in that short a space of time.
  20. "I dunno. Maybe. I mean, yes, I know I'll heal from pretty much everything," conceded Chris. "But just because I don't suffer permanent damage doesn't stop it from happening at all. I shatter all the bones in my body, I'll probably repair them but I'll have to spend a period of time in utter agony and praying I heal before the damage proves fatal." "So, really... I suppose being cocky is just me being me."
  21. John sat in his room, watching a small portable television. "Boring celebrity news... bleugh. Captain Thunder arrested some bank robbers... probably not connected to anything in my field, I'll note it down anyway..." He was wearing his usual attire of blue jeans and t-shirt, nursing a cup of coffee, a notepad and pencil. "In breaking news, a superpowered figure yet to be identifed has assaulted a man in Midtown, before attacking police who attempted to apprehend her with what appear to powers including superhuman strength..." John Fraser was the Arrowhawk in an instant, quickly shedding his civilian attire in favour of the Arrowhawk costume. A minute later, he had swung out of the window and dropped to the street by grabbing onto window ledges, mounting his bike and screeching off towards downtown Freedom.
  22. Wasn't that when I told a nigh-immortal warrior to grow up? o.o
  23. Then obviously, she would look confused and panicked. ;)
  24. Are there any second floor windows Arrowhawk could get in through, or non-boarded up ones on the ground floor?
  25. I'd assume either by Sense Motive or by her actions seeming odd since she isn't in it for profits or revenge or anything, just to prove herself. She's likely to act differently to your average superthug.
