  1. Spreading his feet into an easy stance, Arrowhawk watched the pattern for a few seconds as he nocked his arrow, slowly drawing it back until the moment he fired.
  2. Is it OK if I accurate attack for 5? If not, I hadn't incorporated it in my roll so no problem.
  3. "Like this?" said the green-clad hero, leaning forward quickly. The board shot forwards, shooting upwards as he leaned back and doing a quick loop in mid-air before returning to a level movement. "I think I just messed myself," grumbled Chris, doing some more experimental lunges forwards, wobbling unsteadily. Recalling something he learned when he used to skate, he managed to flip the board around in a 180 degree spin, to face Darian. "How do you come up with brilliant stuff like this? Hell, why haven't you made a fortune from it yet? People'd queue up to buy this stuff!"
  4. "Ok... I just stand on it, right?" muttered Chris, stepping cautiously onto the thing to find it didn't budge. "Clever trick. How do you make it go?" I hope I can stick to this thing. Can I stick to hard light? How does that work? I hate superpowers, they're too damn vague in how they work. Maybe it's so stuff can be explained away more easily...
  5. "Ah, so you're just following in the family footsteps with all this superscience? Cool." He wandered over and started looking at things. "You seem to be working on a load of stuff, how do you find the time?" What does that button do? Do not press the buttondonotpressdonotpressdonotpress...
  6. Smarrowhawk? What is he? Two? Dodging the blast easily despite his weakened condition, he reached down and grabbed his bow, pivoting to face his opponent once more. "Bring it."
  7. Yeah, figured it'd take a second action. Posted it now.
  8. I'm not sure if it's against board rules, but it's been a week so I thought I'd bump this to try and get somebody's attention :P
  9. Ducking, the blast hit his shoulder causing him to wince as it went numb. "I'm Arrowhawk," spat the costumed adventurer, "Feel free to engage me at range." A look of defiance on his face, he clutched at his side and lurched towards where his bow lay.
  10. Arrowhawk took the hit and kept going undeterred. "And your punches are clearly very strong," mocked the vigilante, delivering a quick jab which was easily dodged.
  11. Paragons is really brilliant, especially if you're a fan of shows like Heroes. Doc A sums it up really well, it's a great source for ideas.
  12. You have no idea how painful my life is when I lose my glasses. Will go edit now.
  13. I'm right when I say that I recovered from my stunned condition, and hence regained defensive roll, at the end of my last turn? If not, I failed my save enough to become staggered again, and thus unconscious, and I'll edit my post to reflect that.
  14. Just as Arrowhawk caught his wind again, the fist smashed into his chin... or would have, had he not instinctively jerked his head back so it caught a glancing hit on his chin. "Had enough? Why? Scared of getting beat on some more?" laughed Arrowhawk, bringing his fist forwards in a single vicious strike, ignoring the pain in his stomach for now.
  15. Lost my defensive roll, and because I forgot to take my bruised penalty to the roll, I'm now staggered. There's not a window in this room, is there?
  16. As the punch connected, all the air was knocked out of him and he reeled backwards gasping for breath.
  17. "None here," said Arrowhawk, going to follow the two while tightening straps and buckles on his belt and quiver.
  18. Yeah, my rolls are getting pretty horrific... maybe I could run away like a little girl? :D
  19. "Cool, let's go through," wandering through into Darian's hangar. "So... did you build this place yourself?" he said a little weakly.
  20. Doesn't it fade to +1 after the 3 rounds, before going out completely? Not that it could have improved much there...
  21. Quickly rolling with the blow, Arrowhawk's attempt at a feint was interrupted just enough to be rendered pointless. Who needs finesse, anyway? The hero brought his knee up in a quick jab to his foe's groin, missing as his opponent easily stepped back away from the move.
  22. "Well, you could save the others by not piddling about in spirit form," muttered Arrowhawk, climbing up onto the sill with the woman and clinging to both her and the side of the building. "Ok, bring her down."
  23. "Oooooooooooh.... sorry," says Chris, looking pensively upwards. "So, where did it just go? Simple teleport, or dimension travel?" Yeah, sounding real professional. Woot!
  24. Unable to hold on, the bow is flung clear out of Arrowhawk's hands, but the costumed man continues forwards anyway. "Considering I don't use my bow as a crutch like you do your powers..." he said, turning his forwards momentum into a vicious punch towards the man's head. "Probably better!"
  25. I can't beat it with a Strength bonus of +3, so bye-bye! Also, that attack roll should be 26 due to the roll being only 6.
