  1. The figure sighed, and slid off the van, landing on the ground completely silently despite the size of his figure landing on the concrete at some speed. "Oh, not the incoherently scared ones. I never get anything useful from them." He sighed, and rubbed at his forehead. "Listen, I'm somewhat tired, so I'm just going to go for simple statements, then a question." He paced back and forth as he spoke. "It's dark, a little chilly, and barely anyone is around. Yet, here you are. In a hazard suit. With paintball guns. In a van." He turned to face the girl swiftly, teeth bared, but his voice came out exasperated rather than menacing. "Why?"
  2. A huge swooping form flew out of the darkness, shaped like several foot wide wings like a giant bird. And landed atop the van with an audible clang, a curved longbow sweeping out from the dark figure's hand. "Paintball guns. Cute." The man's voice was low and growling, sounding like a man deeply in need of some Listerine and a glass of water. "If it's not too much trouble..." The voice deepened slightly, the Scottish accent thickening as the man crouched lower. From beneath a dark hood, red eyes glared like those of an eagle, over harsh stubbly features. "What do you think you're doing?"
  3. Alright, so just add a Power Descriptions section in accordance with the template, and that'll be an approval.
  4. Geckoman suddenly landed on the pavement next to Colt with a sickening thud. His whole body, from his head to his one arm to both his legs, was covered in slimy, stinking ichor, and his costume was lashed open in several places revealing oozing, disgusting welts. "The things I saw in there..." he said with a far away expression. "The tastes... the sights... that must be what Sicily is like..." He sat up and shook his head. "Anyway, this thing hasn't been giving me a very good day thus far." He pulled out a detonator from his belt, and clicked it, a huge plume of smoke suddenly erupting from one of the thing's... orifices. "So. Do we have a plan here?"
  5. After discussion with SC... :approved:
  6. You need to include Power Descriptions on the sheet. Also, I honestly can't see shooting blasts of water and so-such as being Subtle because Subtle doesn't mean you necessarily "light up" when you're doing something. It just means what you're doing is noticeable, i.e. shooting water from your hands is hardly a subtle thing. I'd just put the pp elsewhere. If it is Subtle, then why is it Subtle? And, no, I got it from Shaen isn't an answer as while it's his array, it is also your character. Other than that, it looks fine.
  7. Three big glaring things before I take a look at this. Don't worry, one is in your benefit. 1. We don't object to big overhauls of your sheet. Ergo, this is still the same PC as the original KC and Warlock, so throw your Veteran Reward progress back onto the top. 2. If you're not spending all the pp, please don't list him as being 161pp/161pp and having 0pp unspent at the top. 3. Your DC block needs to be looked at again :P
  8. What's the status on this?
  9. Right, I've got one big reservation. There's a difference between a British superhero who is in America, and a superhero who is the personification and takes the name of Britain... then goes to America. For instance, the latter isn't really great for their image. This isn't a no, nor or is it a yes, but can you explain why a country's personification is defending another nation?
  10. Cough. Cough. I still haven't put any pp towards anything yet with Gecks, although at the risk of sounding mean... after him already having a HQ and a vehicle, if we have to shave features off the HQ and/or drop the vehicles to afford it, I'm not really going to care.
  11. After a few moments, the door was opened by a genial looking older woman, with a face creased with laughter lines and framed by a bushy mop of auburn hair under a broad-brimmed grey hat. She had a gun holster hung casually over her left shoulder, and a police badge clipped to her front. "Hi," she said with a warm smile. "Can I help you two?" Quick brown eyes glanced up and over the siblings. "You four." She frowned. "Has something else happened?" Her hand edged perceptibly up towards her gun. "Has someone else been helped?"
  12. "Are you sure it won't set off the sprinklers?" Siobhan asked to a clearly weary-looking cameraman. "Yes, I'm sure," he said with the air of a man repeating himself more than he has any desire to. "We will turn off the fire alarm just before you start, and turn them back on just as you finish. Now, can you leave me to get set up, please?" pleaded the man. "Okay, okay," sighed Siobhan. "I'm sorry, I just don't want to cause any trouble..." She turned to greet Gabriel as the cameraman walked away, muttering something about 'having to clean up the goddamn mess' and 'like superheroes well enough, but why do they have to be in my set...' "Maybe," she said with a wry grin. "Let him talk until he looks stupid, then look like the more reasonable party?"

  14. Chris could barely think straight enough to pilot the Pitchoo, let alone do it one-armed. His mind flooded with voices taunting and sniping at him, the ship began spiraling down out of the sky. He fell to the floor, being tossed around the interior like a cheap ball in a neighbourhood game of basketball. Until he clanged his head hard off the coffee machine. Hell, no. He wasn't letting some overgrown tentacled freak of nature get him down. He was going to stand up, and help kick this thing's ass. And then he was going to get some aspirin, because that hurt. At the last second, he hit the buttons on the console, and one of the doors burst open just as the ship hit the ground. The Pitchoo was catapulted back up into the air as blasts of white-hot lightning began raining down upon the monstrosity. "I hate the smell of tuna!" he declared, as he dove clean out of the ship in a shower of Geckorangs, dodging the tentacle swiping his ship down and into a fresh crater in the concrete. "Well, this is ending well," he muttered to himself, as he plummeted down towards the core of the monster, hurling boomerangs as fast as he could with one arm as he went.
  15. The Hangover: Part FC?
  16. Speed of Thought would make his Initiative +3. Improved Initiative would make his Initiative +4.
  17. Equinox found her senses assailed by warm, comforting images of her childhood, and the spell forcing her to associate them with the Queen. But for this, she barely even had to harden her mental defences. She just brought them up enough to resist the spell long enough to recall her actual childhood. Memories of moving school every year and knowing nobody. Of never having any real friends. Of running away from home because she was sick of it all. And she shattered the spell like hurling a beer bottle at a wall. "Love you? Going to take a hell of a lot more than that," stated Equinox flatly. "Just give it up, please. You're embarrassing yourself. Spare me the hassle of taking you down, and spare yourself the pain of getting taken down. Please. You know what you're doing is wrong. "
  18. Diplomacy check at -10 to do it as a Full Round action (1d20+1=3) Seriooooously...
  19. DC20 Will save vs love (1d20+12=27) Clearly not a nice enough butt.
  20. Equinox staggered to her feet, still smouldering, barely able to make out what was going on from sheer exhaustion and pain. Part of her hair was smoking gently, and the ends were a little crispy. "Give... me..." she whispered hoarsely, every breath forced and scratchy against her throat. "Give me the goddamn child..." She panted deeply, and then forced out a little more of her precious reserves of will, lightning arcing between her fingers. "Now."
  21. Intimidate check: Give back my baby! (1d20+5=6) I hate you.
