Equinox just grinned broadly, and tossed the sword lightly into the faerie's eldritch grasp. In a burst of white light, the sword, freed from her hand and will, reverted to a carved piece of wood. She cockily dropped her powerful shielding spell, relying on her usual basic wards and bindings. "Yes, it is a nice trinket," agreed the witch. "Which I just willingly gave to you as a gift." She smiled sweetly at vaguely where she thought the queen was hovering. "And, under your laws, doesn't that mean I can request something as ever so simple as a hug from the beautiful, gracious Queen?" She shrugged her shoulders helplessly. "I mean, it only seems fair."

Nope. Willing failing, taking 1, giving up the wand with a smile and a nod. Now... Hugs plz? (1d20+2=21)

Geckoman screamed in agony as the falling piece of plate glass just hit him in the arm, and sliced clean through it. The sheer velocity of the bullet proof shards just smashed through the fragile elbow joint, and tore off the arm, even as rubble slammed into his body and threw him down under its crushing weight. The muffled continual stream of profanity erupted into outright roaring profanity as the building was lifted off of the teen. "Oh god, that hurts! Ow! Ow! My arm! Again!" He forced himself to his feet, and staggered through the wreckage to his team mates. "Girls, get up and move, we're in real trouble. And I'm bleeding like a stuck pig, Thrude, I need you to scorch it closed with lightning, or surviving that building collapse isn't going to help me out in the long term. Short term, still doesn't help out, as it just means I'm alive through the screaming agony."

Right, works for me. Gecks lost his right lower arm. Yay!

Am Gecks flat-footed against this? I'll make the Toughness assuming he's not, but take off 2 from the roll if Gecks is... Reflex Save, followed by Toughness save (1d20+10=17, 1d20+9=15) Well, yeouch. That one hurts... I'll burn a HP on the Toughness roll: My aching back! And front! And sides! (1d20+9=18) With +10 for a total of 28, he's just Bruised (and Injured?). Now, for an odd request... because he rolled so badly initially, but got off near scott-free on the re-roll, and because he never gets to use his Regrowth, can we cut off a hand or something?

Arrowhawk nodded briefly to Elena, and strode into the portal, not limping quite as pronouncedly as he had been before. "I'm going to be back soon," he promised. And then he was in the Lair, not even stopping to keep track of his surroundings as he fiddled with the damn teleporters, somehow forcing open one of the arcane pieces of over-elaborate damned technology. And stepped out into one of his rented rooms, barely pausing to grab a huge sports bag, and punch his way clear through a chunk of drywall which was just a shade newer and less dirty looking. And dove back into the portal into the Scarab's Lair, clutching both the folder and the bag. Then promptly stripped off his shirt, pulling out plain black tracksuit bottoms and a black t-shirt, and rapidly began changing outfits in swift, practiced movements. Ignoring anyone who might enter the Lair, he without shame stripped off the jeans and replaced them with the more comfortable, practical trousers, strapping black armour plates to his legs immediately after, then larger, thicker plates to his torso and upper arms. Red eyes glared from the shadows of his black cowl as he pulled out his folder, and began rethinking old tactical assessments and plans.

John scratched at his stubble thoughtfully. "Hrrrrm... well, I can't much speak for Elena here, but I doubt I'd react highly well to him suddenly being a big scaly fish." He sighed deeply. "Oh god, do I hate the weird stuff. I never thought I'd want to just have brawny thugs shooting me again." He clapped his hands together. "We need to find him. And find out what the hell is going on. Kiddo, fill me in quickly on what you can do. Elena, reckon you can scan for him quickly? I'm going to have to go grab my suit and weapons, and then a few documents. I like Archeville, so I don't want to assume the worst, but he's probably on the list of people who could outmaneuver me without using superpowers, and that's not something I'm walking into."
-
"Your argument has merit," mused Geckoman, hand idly stroking the pouch on his belt which contained his smoke bombs. "Besides, frankly, the evil sexual tension in here is just making me want to vomit. Or is it the smell of rotting salmon? I mean, that's nasty." He suddenly bounced up, planted both feet squarely on the wall, and smashed a smoke pellet against the ground. Not even waiting for the smoke to unfurl, he bounded off the wall like a shot, rolling on the ground five times before propelling himself up to his feet in a flat-out sprint. "Hasta la vista, crazy people!"

Botany isn't a Knowledge. What you'd be looking for is Life Sciences. I'd specify Plant Control Array for the Attack Spec. Precise Shot 2 is probably not necessary, Elusive Target isn't that common, and you can just HP it up if and when you need it. Right, my suggestion here is... just look at other sheets for help with formatting. Also, don't put Photosynthesis in an array, make it a separate Immunity. I'd also advise bringing that Strike a) up to caps, and actually buying Autofire for both the entirety of the ranks and your Strength bonus, so it's actually useful. The Stun power... doesn't add up. Range - Ranged [+1] is a +1 extra, and Area - Cloud [+1] is a +1 Extra, so at present, it costs 2+1+1=4pp/rank, for a total of 32pp. It's also an Area Attack, so can go to rank 10, as General Areas not affected by trade-offs because there's no attack roll. Why doesn't she always have bark skin, if she's a plant? And Impervious is an Extra, not a Feat. Regeneration from lethal damage on this site is signifcantly less useful than Regeneration from non-lethal.

"If I'm a superhero, if I'm a supervillain, stop being so naive," snapped Arrowhawk, moving to stride outside. "Even if I was a supervillain, do you honestly think that would mean I'm wrong about the smartest man on Earth acting strangely in the presence of a piece of armour taken off the personification of evil being something to worry about." "Listen, kid, do you have any idea where he is now?"
-
John's entire mannerism suddenly shifted. His metal cane dropped solidly to the ground, clattering on the floor. He started moving fluidly and smoothly, no longer lmiping, but prowling around the chest plate like a caged tiger. "Is this what I think it is?" growled Arrowhawk. "Kid, what the hell is going on?" The big man shied away from the piece of armour. "I don't give a damn who beat up that monstrosity. Fair play to them. But dammit, that thing is evil. It should have been left to rot somewhere. And now Archeville's missing." A low growl began in the man's throat. "I think it might be time to suit up."

Swimming would be alright as a movement power, seeing as how Freedom City is coastal. Only a) Swimming's progression is inexplicably slow, and no one uses the sea! How about: Swimming 4 AP: Leaping 2 and Speed 2 Hell, or just buy a low rank of Flight, as of UP Flight still works underwater.

"And yet I want to talk to him." John just smirked at the bat. "But, hey, you're not letting me in, and I'm not budging, so I guess we're reached an impasse." He just shook his head incredulously. "You do know, right, that if I walk away as you want me to, all that happens is I get into his lab without having to deal with some arrogant little brat who thinks she's got a right to boss me about. Because you're damn right. This is a bad time. People are disappearing." The man's voice had dropped to a low growl. "People are dying. So, let's make a deal. I will walk away if you honestly, truly believe guarding this door is worth more than the lives of innocent people." The man's voice was scarcely above a whisper. "Because, kiddo, for every minute you stall, there's a damn murderer who's got a minute more to operate, and I'm not letting it continue."
-
"Firstly, no, secondly, would we tell you if we were?" John rolled his eyes. Amateurs. "Seriously, kid. This is not the time to play silly games. I mean, sure enough, he probably can see us. But he's not coming out, and to me, that just means either stand here all day, or stop just using the collapsible metal staff for show as a walking stick. And I'm not just going to whack some young girl, I've got some standards." The man leaned his back against the door frame and began whistling a low tuneless "melody". What happened to the robot gorilla, anyway?"
-
The man just glared at the girl. "I'm the man who needs in this house, and what I need is to speak to the man in the house," he said wearily. "This is urgent, kid. There's been a lot of terrible, terrible things happening, and..." Get out of my way! "Well, we need the Doktor to help us piece these things together properly. Tell him John Fraser is here, and needs to speak to him now, or in the name of Vivian Krager, we're having a repeat of the Malice incident." The man's face betrayed nothing but the anger flickering in his eyes. "I can easily wait here while you tell him that." He affected a broad smile, although it obviously looked as though he was unpracticed in the action.

"Well, poop," swore Geckoman, sliding up off the floor in a flash, until his back was against the wall. "Guys... um... guys... ?" Then the look of panic left his face, and he set his jaw. "Well, guess what, Captain Cod?" smirked the green wonder at Fishy!Dok. "You're clearly not the supergenius everyone claims you are, as apparently you didn't think to get all the new recruits either! Pah, and when you look at a man who thinks half-assing his plan then turning himself into mackerel is going to work, you cod just laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh... Really, to skip ahead, because I could and would do that for a while..." He raised his hand, and made a 'bring it' gesture with his fingers. The other hand was already clutching a Geckorang. "Well, shut up and bring on the funk, bring on the noise!"

John didn't bother hiding his contempt. Some puny, scrawny little girl, when before he'd had a highly advanced robotic simian? "I need to speak with the Doktor," he said brusquely, moving to walk into the house, affecting a somewhat exaggerated reliance on his cane as he shuffled forwards. "Is he in? This is urgent." His keen eyes began scanning the interior, ears straining to hear signs of the Dok. And, seriously, where is the gorilla? Is he downsizing or something?
-
Geckoman tapped the side of his mask. "Short range comms device in the mask, I've also got an old teleport beacon in my belt which has a built-in commlink I could repatch and re-route to another source, I suppose." He just sighed and rolled his eyes. "Really, when you get down to it, I could just, y'know, go put on some civvies. Hell, since I've got prep time, I could go fit out a deliciously pre-planned wardrobe of delights! Ripped denim! Chains! Leather! And more product than a grocer's shelves!" He rubbed his hands gleefully. "Man, I love infiltration."

Or maybe the Norse just focused on getting drunk and stabbing. Gender was a tertiary thing! :D

I don't see why they can't be two separate teams altogether, really. I mean, this year there's going to be two Claremont teams, the Interceptors are basically the hipster Freedom League (). There's plenty of room for both.
-
Germans smell of brine?
-
Well, as I said, I'm up for bringing Equinox on. But, as always, once the team expands to the usual 8-9 members teams always go to, I'm out. It defeats the point of me sending around PMs to try to organise a team without it turning into a dog pile.

Equinox growled in frustration as her sword glanced off, lunging forward to cut off the Queen as she flew upwards, flames still burning harmlessly against her protective wards. But Hayley wasn't so lucky, squealing and falling down on the ground, unmoving as the fire burnt out. Her cry echoed in Siobhan's head before it went blank. All of it. She couldn't see a thing. She couldn't sense the currents of magic in the room. She just stood, unmoving, the only thing she could do until the Queen slipped up being to hold up her force field, simply to remain upright long enough to formulate a plan. Technically, she could send the entire place up in a firestorm. But, if she couldn't see, there was no way to save the baby or Hayley from the effects of it.
-
Edited to take into account the smelling things. DC20 Toughness save (1d20-1=8) And now we're f***ed. I can't keep burning Hero Points when I've got two left, so OOC, let's be pragmatic and have the poor thing get knocked out. Drama! Now, Equinox is entirely blind. And can't use her Area attacks without being able to Selective Attack the baby and Hayley safely (the default is "hits", not "doesn't hit") So she just keeps up her Force Field and waits to see how the Queen reacts.

Notice DC 30? Wut? (1d20+10=27) Wee?
