DC23 Will (1d20+9=15) Bugger, well, here goes burning a HP. Reroll! (1d20+9=28) Right, I'll try coup de gracing where you all have failed at it DC 26 Toughness, then DC 21 Fortitude.

"A home? Huh," said Jeni, expression quickly turning bitter. "No, not any more, I suppose. I... used to have one. But it's gone. It's dead, just rocks and dust. Before its time. I'm a Kaironian. As far as I know, I'm the last Kaironian. I'm the only survivor." She looked at Gabriel mournfully. "When Kairos burned, my ship was hurled clear of the blast and crashed down in the West End. I suppose I... technically died, but I'm still walking around. So, in a way, no one survived."

Her most distinctive features are her long brown hair, grown to half-way down her back, and her piercingly blue eyes. Typically, she dresses in plain t-shirts and jeans, eschewing dresses and high heels for more 'practical' clothing. That said, she can alter her clothing to any outfit of her choosing with a snap of her fingers. As Equinox, Siobhan's eyes become brilliant white due to use of her magic, casting enough light on her face to obscure her identity. In addition, she uses a simple temporary spell to dye her hair jet black. She wears a white long-sleeved t-shirt and trousers underneath a deep black floor-length coat. On her shirt is a logo on a black-outlined circle with one half completely black and the other white, representing the position of the sun during an equinox. In both identities, Equinox wears an elaborate silver pentagram, although usually hides it while not in costume. History: It's safe to say Siobhan Drake had a rough childhood. She grew up getting teased for the funny name her Gaelophile parents gave her, moved house a lot due to her father's profession as an Air Force General, and then being present for the Terminus Invasion when she was a little girl. After the trauma of the invasion, General Drake decided his family should stay in Freedom City with Siobhan's maternal uncle Frank. However, childhood petulance dictated that despite her parents trying to improve her life, Siobhan still resented them for her name, for the moving and even for moving to a city that gets invaded! Once she hit her teens, she started rebelling on a huge scale, sneaking out and drinking, smoking cigarettes, going through different goth/emo/fashion-obsessed phases, and then finally, to top off her parent's worries, she ran away from home. While travelling across the country, she fell in with a rough crowd of wannabe mages, who met nightly and tried out rituals they'd found from various old texts they'd dredged up. However, when it came down to it, they were just a bunch of talentless, pretentious teenagers using affected names. However, their leader (a man calling himself 'Keter'), had some talent, and was pleased to find that Siobhan had plenty of it. Therefore, while she showed interest in old pagan faiths and magic, Keter tried to manipulate and coerce her into demonic and necromantic rituals. She resisted for a long time, until in a frustrated rage, Keter went ahead without her and tried a summoning with his more lacklustre skills. He and his little 'coven' failed, and the summoning went awry, just as Siobhan's conscience finally snapped her out of it and she arrived to stop it from happening. Faced with a demon on the rampage, Siobhan used what little magic she knew to try and bind the monster, but to no avail. Sent reeling by the magical backlash of it shattering its bonds, it looked hopeless... until Adrian Eldrich appeared on the scene, effortlessly saving the day with a word and a gesture. While angered at her not stopping it before it happened, and at Keter's escape, Eldrich took pity on Siobhan, taking her home to her worried parents. From there, she set about turning over a new leaf. Spending the next five years studying theology at Freedom City University, she turned to Wicca and began living by its philosophy, using her magic responsibly. To aid in this, Eldrich instructed her a little until she was ready to stand on her own. Taking a job marking tests and teaching a few small classes, Siobhan decided to become the superhero Equinox, fighting off criminals, protecting people, and hunting rogue mages in order to make sure what she allowed to happen wouldn't repeat itself again. Personality & Motivation: Equinox is a driven, dedicated individual who has learned from her past mistakes. While her job as a superhero requires some degree of violence to protect people, she nonetheless maintains a peaceful attitude, attempting diplomacy and trying to talk out problems, not resort to violence. Trying to believe in the good side of people, nonetheless, she often upholds a perhaps unwarrantedly harsh stance on those starting out using magic, simply due to her bad experiences with rookie mystics in her youth. In addition, when stressed, she has a tendency to get a little snippy with people. Siobhan wants to make the world a better place, but predominantly, believes in protecting the innocent before drastically changing the world perhaps against other's wishes. She has the ability to do so, the drive to do so, and thus in her mind, must do so. Deep down, she hopes that being a superhero might also help her family to forgive her for her follies of youth. Powers & Tactics: Equinox is a highly trained and skilled mage. While deprived of much of her magical prowess without her wand to focus them, with it she is a veritable force of nature, with a wide variety of spells available to her. She is an expert elementalist, able to conjure up fire, wind, earth and air, although she tends to favour fire and wind as the more impressive-looking. She can also magically lift objects due to her control over the elements, create protective magical wards and fly on spectral white wings. When she wants to show off, she can also make her force field glow brightly, illuminating the area around her. With her wand and pentagram, her powers become more focused, and thus much more effective. In addition, they allows her to use the more difficult spells of controlling the weather and healing the wounds and fatigue of others. The wand also removes the need to speak and gesture in order to cast spells, requiring only flicks of the wand. Typically, she will try to negotiate with her foes rather than attack them outright. If pressed, she will prefer to bind and restrain foes rather than blast them with the elements, although if pressed to or if left with no other choice, she will use more outright offensive attacks. Complications: Addiction (cigarettes): While aware it's a filthy habit, Siobhan nonetheless has a ten-a-day one. "An' it harm none, do as you will": Equinox follows the Wiccan Rede, and thus is reluctant to use damaging spells except as a last resort, preferring to talk or use binding spells initially. She also loses access to her Magic array for 24 hours if she stunts mind-controlling powers like Emotion or Mind Control against a human being. "DAMMIT, I HATE MY NAME!": Siobhan is irritated by her Gaelophile parents giving her a Gaelic name noone can pronounce. She finds it hard to resist losing her temper when people get it wrong or make fun of it. Enemy (Keter): For all Equinox and Eldrich know, Keter is still alive, and might yet claim his revenge. Magical Gestures: Without her wand to focus her magic, Equinox must use gestures and words to use her innate Environmental Control, Force Field, Flight and Magic array. Prejudice (openly practicing Wiccan): While not usually an issue, Siobhan's unconventional choice of religion sometimes lead to difficulties in both identities. Responsibility (Eldrich): While Adrian Eldrich knows that Siobhan did more to stop Keter than help him, nonetheless, he helped her, coached her in magic and helped her at a low point, and thus Siobhan feels she owes him a favour. Responsibility (family): While still somewhat estranged from them, Siobhan's family still matter to her, and she strives to protect them. Responsibility (magical threats): Equinox feels obligated to focus on preventing magic from being misused, and thus spends much of her time fighting magical foes. In particular, she specialises in those creatures native to Earth, not other dimensions, as well as those mages misusing their powers. Responsibility (job): Siobhan Drake lectures on theology part-time in Freedom City University, and really can't afford to lose her job, because... Struggling: ... she hasn't much money, spending a lot of what she does earn on mystic supplies. Equinox smiled at the necromancer. "Well, don't we just keep running into one another?" smiled Equinox to Nick. "Any idea what exactly is going on here?" Her eyes went to the museum's doors. "Other than trying to break into a museum." She turned and looked slightly confused at the teen standing next to him. There's something about him... "Sorry, but do I know you?" she asked. "You seem familiar."
-
A few feet above the rooftop, Jeni stopped flapping, and let herself begin falling, wings retracting into her back rapidly, leaving two ragged holes in the back of her t-shirt. She hit the ground with a small thud, coming up from her knees into a casual, easy stance. "Not that difficult, I just don't let my body shapeshift while imposing the genetic template of a winged animal onto my shoulders. Just takes a little refinement, and an animal with large enough wings." She rubbed her back, scratching at an itch. "The feathers do chafe a little bit, though. And I'm new to the planet. Crashed down here not all that long ago."
-
Jeez. Twenty-seven... Siobhan strolled back across town from her parents' house, having celebrated her birthday with a meal with her family. Unfortunately, a still somewhat strained meal. Her relationship with them wasn't yet that repaired. But something felt somehow wrong. The trees looked a little bit too green. It was warm, a bit too warm for this time of year. Static tingled in the back of her skull as her acute senses picked up something a little bit out of the ordinary. The equinox is coming... but never has it felt like this. I'd best look into this before I go home. Ducking into an alleyway, she produced a piece of chalk from her bag, drew a rough star and circle, and knelt in the middle of it. And she felt a flow. As if some form of energy, that of life, death and rebirth, was whirling its way out into the world. Narrowing her eyes, and clicking her fingers, Equinox stood up, the hems of her new-formed trenchcoat scraping across the chalk markings and coming up in a small cloud of white dust. She began walking towards the source of the disturbance.
-
"Should be able to fly, give me a moment," said Jeni, leaning back slightly and stretching out her arms. With a strange clicking sound her shoulder blades extended outwards, stretching her white t-shirt until it tore free, membranous white wings spreading outwards even as scale-like feathers began slithering across them. In a few seconds, the blond woman stood there, with a wingspan of eight feet, gently flapping upwards with long, languorous, powerful strokes of her wings. "No, not from this planet, no."
-
"Well... not that much older," said Jeni defensively. "Barely a hundred years, I mean, I've got half my life ahead of m-" She paused, eyes flickering as her brain quickly ticked and she recalled snippets of Earth history she'd yet to take the time to actually pay attention to. "Wait. Humans don't live that long, do they? It'd explain why some of the younger humans I've met seem so dumb. Anyway, I'm Jeni. I'm kind of..." She struggled to look for an appropriate Earth phrase. "Not from around here?"
-
Jeni casually brought her hand up, barely even tensing her muscles. The knuckleduster hit her hard in the forearm... and didn't even leave more than a red mark in the skin, quickly fading. The leader looked at the young woman in shock as she swiftly, without even changing her expression, snatched his arm with the one he'd just punched, and pushed him hard towards the nearby wall, even as she swept her left leg towards his knees. He fell head first into the cement wall, falling to the ground in pain. "Amateurs. I learned to do that when I was only 57. Surely you should know basic combat skills by now." She turned to look up at the flying man. "Thanks for the help."
-
Jeni Frey strolled casually down one of the streets of Freedom City. Seems somewhat dilapidated. What kind of planet is this that they just let areas deteriorate to a worse state than the rest of the city? Seems somewhat counterintuitive. She was wearing some strange blue trousers that had been marketed as 'jeans', despite her understanding that this was also a name for females. They need less ambiguous languages. It's a wonder they don't get confused all the time. She kicked a metal drinks can. That, too, was odd. Kairos had very, very strict anti-littering laws. Well... it used to have them. Then, all of a sudden, she heard someone rushing up behind her as she approached an alleyway. Sighing, she felt the knife pressing into her back as three young, thuggish looking men came out of the alleyway. "Give me your purse, and you won't get hurt," grunted the leader, a stocky man with close-cropped hair and a knuckleduster on his right hand. "And don't you dare try shouting, or my friend here will put his knife in you, and we don't want that, do we?" Jeni fixed her green eyes of him defiantly, having already thought of ten ways to get out of this situation without even being scratched. Taking in a deep breath, she brought her back leg up so quickly between her assailant's legs, and with such calculated precision, that she sent her foot smashing upwards into his groin so hard that even through her boots she could feel his pelvis. "No. We don't want that." Jeni grinned widely.
-
"Ok, people," commanded Geckoman confidently. "I won't be flying with you, but I'll be remotely piloting you out of her, which I've done many a time, so just hold on tight, we'll get you a few blocks down and onto the ground." He began maneuvering the ship casually one-handed using his remote, other hand pressed to his earpiece. "OK, civilians are flyyyyyyyying away. Fun times. I'll get them to a safe distance, then help mop up this fight. Unless something happens with the ship. In which case... we'll have a problem." But for now, the Pitchoo was moving off at a steady enough speed, flying cleanly and evenly.
-
I'll delay with Spellbound until after Geckoman acts. But... DC 25 hurts. (1d20+6=22) Could have been much worse...
-
Scholar bounded towards Marinette with ferocious speed, clawed feet scrabbling as her lips drew back over scaly gums to reveal the jagged, knife-like teeth in her maw. "I think it's time you just gave in. A bunch of overgrown canines can't hope to stand up to me." She leapt at the goddess, hurling her full body mass into a powerful body slam, inaccurate but with a lot of momentum behind it. "GnnnnaaaaAAAAAAAAAARGHSSSSSSSSSSSH"
-
"Yep," nodded Geckoman, seemingly unfazed by the teleporting. "That'd be a lie. I can smell it." The teen hero wandered around behind Rook. "So, in a town with no superheroes... why so elaborate a gig? I mean, if there's no one to stop you from stealing and cheating... why steal and cheat? It seems a little counterproductive. Get in, get out, get away with it before heroes from other towns show up. Simpler, cleaner, and might not have ended up with us sneaking up on you. That's how I'd do it, were, y'know, I a criminal. Which I'm not."
-
Let's just assume Gecks is using Bluff to oppose Bluff with Skill Mastery this whole conversation >.> So... 32

Last Account Of The Final Days of Kairos: Part One "C'mon, Jeni!" laughed Wa'Lee, appearing beside her with a psow. "Get your head out of the datapad! We've got some leave, and I need to show you the Diamond Seas on Schlerin!" He grabbed her by the arm and with another psow brought her into one of the Chronopods. "I can't," she said to him, trying not to smile. "I need to learn these theses, or I'm never going to perfect my shapeshifting matrix." She tried to pull away from the grinning man in the bright green jumpsuit. "We're time travellers? You've got all the time you'll ever need!" he declared merrily, psowing to the other side of the command console, and rapidly typing in a few co-ordinates. "Whaddya say? C'mon, I ever talked Chyrop into it. C'mooooooooooon!" He looked at her pleadingly. "Don't believe me? He's in this pod's kitchen, eating a sandwich... at least I think it was a sandwich." He flicked a few more buttons... whereupon the entire bank of control panels began flashing mauve, a siren wailing loud and clear. "What... did you do?" asked Jeni incredulously. "Um..." Particle pulled up the holographic projection for visuals. "Particle to Council, what is the emergency?" His joking tone had vanished to allow in a serious, grim tone. From behind them, a tall figure in a dull grey-silver suit of body armour with a full head mask appeared. No eyeholes showed in his mask, but apparently he could still see. "What did you do, Wa'Lee?" asked Nightfall in a hoarse, low voice. "I don't know!" exclaimed Particle as a face appeared in the holographic projector, of an ancient woman, completely bald and wearing high-collared amber robes. "This is High Councilwoman Ga'Yl. Chrononauts, Kairos is under attack by the Terminus." Scholar gasped, Particle visibly took a step back, and Nightfall's hands clenched into fists. "We need you to find a way to repel this invasion. Please, this is the highest of-" Ga'Yl's face snapped to the right with an expression of shock. "The Omegadrones are breaching the Spire. I repeat, the Omegadrones are-" The signal shorted out. The three Chrononauts dashed out of their craft and out towards the wider city.
-
"It shouldn't do, but I've never been on a planet with such an unusually high nitrogen concentration," said Jeni, looking pensive. "All I'd need to do to get it into my system is breathe it in though, and since nitrogen is what makes up protein... I think my body must have synthesised it." Then she looked up, with a perplexed expression. "But that's not how my shapeshifting matrix works. I should know, I designed it. It just pulls or pushes energy and mass, as required, into a similar dimension to the one my ship is now inside. Which doesn't require it to interact with the environment at all. Which implies... this might be something any Kaironian could do." Her face fell. "No way to find out anymore, though..." She screwed her eyes shut and let out a long breath.
-
Jeni breezed into the labs, quickly figured out how to use the equipment, and ushered away the lab technicians with a brusque "Moving along, moving along." Soon, she was looking at a small blood sample underneath an exceptionally high-powered microscope. "From memory, it seems that, well... part of my DNA structure has been completely wiped out. A lot of this protein looks brand new, and pretty different from how it used to..." She looked up apologetically. "I do a lot of work on self-modification, so I'm pretty familiar with my own cell structure. Wait a minute..." Again, her eyes flickered, but exceptionally fast this time as her brain worked overtime. "What's the atmospheric composition of this planet?"
-
Can I assume that all the civilians safely got into the Pitchoo?
-
"Um... yes, thank you," said Equinox to the security team. "Could you please escort this man somewhere safe until the police can arrive? Thank you very much. He'll be with you in a second." Best investigate these artifacts while he is being processed. "Now, kid, could you give me your name, and the address of where all these artifacts are? I'm going to need to look through them to remove anything else potentially unsafe."
-
The Chrononauts The Chrononauts were, in essence, a combination of a government agency and the Freedom League. Every man and woman was directly employed, funded and trained by the Kaironian High Council, and tasked with defending Kairos from threats alien, internal and natural. Only, due to a quirk in Kaironian technology, they didn't just stop these threats. They stopped them from ever happening in the first place, using their powerful Chronopod technology. Each ship was able to fly through time and space with astounding speed, as well as possessing a high speed when in orbit due to low mass. Each ship's interior was massive... but stored inside a pocket dimension to avoid having a city-sized spaceship. Normally, time travel would merely create an alternate timeline, one with the problem fixed, one with the disaster still occurring. However, each ship was linked through quantum entanglement to the Amber Spire, which had the unique effect of suppressing this timeline split. In effect, the whole tower acted as a capacitor for spatio-temporal disturbances. The team themselves were treated as an ad hoc special forces unit. While nominally they had their uniform of a silver jumpsuit, eventually each member developed a custom uniform suiting their personality and superpowers. In general, each member was an altruistic, heroic Kaironian, in spite of the oft political nature of their government connection. This eventually led to the team attempting a last ditch effort in the Fall of Kairos to bring down the High Council against all orders to cooperate with Omega's forces. Roster At Time of Terminus Invasion The Tempest: Soong Ry'Vyer.. The heroic leader of the Chrononauts, Tempest was a veritable force of nature. Able to fly at super sonic speeds, withstand orbital bombardment thanks to her invulnerable skin, and with the unique ability to manipulate the weather, for as long as anyone could remember, she had been Kairos' greatest hero and protector. She gave her life fighting Omega at the peak of the Amber Spire. Nightfall: Chyrop Tera. The sole non-powered Chrononaut, Nightfall was a powerful man, trained in the martial arts of a hundred worlds, with the razor sharp intellect of the finest academics, and a raw streak of pure bloody-mindedness which let him fight on the same level as his nominally more powerful compatriots. Notorious for being a moody loner and not one to converse, he nonetheless showed over time to genuinely care for his team mates like they were his family. His last breath was spent in a last ditch suicide run on a legion of Omegadrones, falling atop a mound of a hundred broken bodies. Automaton: Jhon Henstarc. The most intelligent woman on Kairos, a veritable mechanical genius and the wearer of a potent suit of powered armour so powerful that she eschewed a Chronopod in favour of her time travelling suit. The only member of the team to be individually wealthy, she managed a vast research company producing the most cutting edge designs and hiring the brightest minds. Her last act was to take to the field with an army of her old armours piloted remotely, hoping to stall the invasion forces long enough to evacuate the population. Particle: Wa'Lee Barrick. The fastest Kaironian on the planet, Particle could leap between different points in space via the use of quantum entanglement. The heart of the team, he kept laughing and joking even in the face of the tallest odds and most dangerous foes. He was killed while evacuating a huge population centre to the Chronopods. Lor-Kal: The last surviving member of the Lor Republic, taken refuge on Kairos and showing his thanks by acting as a Chrononaut. He had the vast psychic powers evolved by the Lor over the centuries, able to bring to bear vast telekinetic and telepathic abilities. He was shot dead by the High Council, as they had no interest in bringing non-Kaironians into their deal with Omega. Scholar: Jeni Frey. The new recruit, an intelligent yet naive xenobiologist. She had not yet completed her training when Omega struck, and was the only survivor of the last battle.

"At least I can get a date," retorted Geckoman, trying with all his might to force his way clear of the security robot's arms. "Dammit!" he burst out. "I hate security. So much. Now, giant robot, if you don't let me go, I am going to scrap you, and use you for car parts. Then sell you to the owner of one of those damn dogs who shed everywhere. An eternity spent covered in smelly fur." He planted his hands hard on the metal, fingertips sticking fast immediately. Then twisted his joints hard enough to dislocate them to get the flexibility to kick free of the hold.

KISS HIM, YOU FOOL OK... Geckoman Free Action: Spend a Hero Point to clear the stun. He is now on 2 HP. Turns out I only need a 1 HP to do this, as Gecks has +15 Escape Artist, burning a HP with Grappling Finesse would only bring him up to +16. Now really worth it, when using Extra Effort would get me +17 on Escape Artist for the round, and that's still a poor option. Move Action: Escape as a move action! (1d20+15=18) F***. Hero Point, down to only 1 HP (1d20+15=25) and add 10, for a total of 35 to beat to keep a hold of him. Per our house rules, he can move normally after escaping, and will do so, to get underneath the robot grappling Spellbound. Standard Action: Should this work, Gecks is gonna go on Full Defence

I see little issue here, but could you list what the Density is giving you, possibly in a quote box under the power. It makes it a lot easier to approve and update sheets that way. Also; :approved:
