  1. "I have a degree!" () Also, I'm going to assume Equinox at least has heard of Vigourie. If she isn't able to have... well, the meaningful pulling out of the pentacle is gonna look a lot less premeditated.
  2. ... they did? I felt his handling was a black mark on the writing quality.
  3. "Well," said Equinox, pulling out her pentacle. "I've apprenticed under Earth's Master Mage for a while, beaten up a near-immune-to-magic golem with a car, and dealt with a few vampires and demons. And that's just the things I put on my CV." She cocked an eyebrow at Push. "I'm also an expert in theology and occult lore, so I can talk the talk as well as throw fireballs into things." Question stands? I was quite proud of my entrance there. Probably need more rushing winds...
  4. It was at that moment that a woman in a long black coat over a white shirt, trousers and boots strode up, long black hair streaming in her wake, eues glowing with a soft, soft white light, just enough to obscure the details of her face. As she approached the group, she cast her hands backwards, a sudden burst of wind hurling her coat backwards just long enough for her to casually put her hands in her pockets and nod casually to everyone. "So... guess I'm not the only one to need to think they needed help up here." Then she noticed Nick, and broke out into a radiant smile dropping the casual, cool act altogether. "Oh, hi, Nick! How's it going?"
  5. The Pitchoo hovered high in the clouds as Geckoman reclined in his chair, legs on the dashboard and arms folded behind head, snoring softly to himself. His goggles were around his neck, and his full head mask discarded on the floor. On the dash, a few lights blinked and whirred in yellows, greens and reds as a couple of displays scanned and monitored. Then, with a sudden TRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIINNNNNG, the radar detected a flying metal object some distance beneath the craft. Geckoman sat bolt upright, falling off the swivelling chair as the sudden movement made it swing. "Bwauh? Dammit, stuff happening, and stuff isn't sleep!" A few bemused seconds later, the green egg-shaped ship jetted downwards towards the blip on the radar.
  6. While we're fine with starting with Inventions occasionally, if you want to always have one, buy a Device. Don't buy a 1pp Feat.
  7. Siobhan loaded the last of the occult gear into the trunk of her battered-to-hell old car. Getting the broomstick in on top of the cauldron had been an effort, but she'd managed, although she'd run out of room in the tiny space and had to dump her handful of books and assorted precious stones into the cauldron. She tucked her pentacle underneath her baggy sweater, tucking her wand into the band of her jeans. She didn't think going in fully decked out in her usual load-out would go down well in a town where Harry Potter was seen as evil, when all it was guilty of was steadily decreasing writing quality. Come prepared, don't be too obvious about it. The engine spluttering painfully to life, Siobhan began the long drive up to Pennsylvania, praying the car didn't explode halfway there.
  8. Equinox'd be all over this like a hot rash. Which'd be fun when she gets her pentacle out :D
  9. Equinox strode casually up to the wannabe mage, and wrenched the staff out of his hands, frost cracking as she did so. "Don't worry, it's magical frost. You should cool down with few ill effects." She rolled the staff in her hands. "But you won't be getting this back. Magic isn't to be abused." She walked round, staff in one hand, wand in the other hand, and looked the kid dead in the face. "Why would you attack a college facility, anyway?" She tilted her head to one side to try and look sympathetic.
  10. One word for the Paralyzed man... yoink.
  11. *tap* *fall down*
  12. Geckoman got out of the Geckomobile, the door locking behind him with a BEEP-beep sound. "Edge, don't taunt the super strong invulnerable stone man," he said, shaking his head gently. "Or poke him. We don't know where he's been lichen." "Now, Mr... Monolith? What possessed you to get this urge to tear down whole towns? Is it a Freudian thing? Oooh... or Jung!" Geckoman hopped on one foot excitedly. "I hope it's your Jung!"
  13. Geckoman hit the gas, forcing the car to screech through the aftermath of Mark's explosion, the hood of the car opening slightly as twin laser guns came out on spinning turrets. With a whirr, they locked onto the target, green holographic targetting reticules coming up on the windscreen. "Out of interest, what happens if you do screw with you?" asked Geckoman brightly, leaning out the side window grinning as the bolts of electricity hammered into the huge stone man. "Or at least electrocute you a lot?"
  14. Move action; Drive up to like 50' from the big guy. Standard action: More dakka! Geckomobile cannons activate! Power Attacking for 3, DC24, Autofire [+1 for each 2 hit by, up to DC27] (1d20+8=9) Profanity filter: engaged. Hero point that bad boy up, and... Shooty! (1d20+8=15), +10 is 25. EDIT: Apparently AA will spend the HP for me. Yay!
  15. The preferred formatting for that is Master Plan 2, not Master Tactician.
  16. We're all faster than speeding bullets... hopefully
  17. Geckoman moves like an arctic blizzard, fast and cool! GECKOMAAAAAAN (1d20+11=31)
  18. Geckoman Ok, his Stealth is waaaaay too high: drop it by 5 ranks, for Stealth 8 (+13/+15). To keep the totals even, add 1 to Acrobatics for: Acrobatics 9 (+14/+16, Skill Mastery) [-1PP to Skills] Now, Feat time! +1 Luck, for Luck 2 [+1PP in Feats] Takedown Attack [+1PP in Feats] And +1 to Will save, for a total of +6 [+1PP in Saves] Doktor'd
  19. Ok, round two. DRAW! Adds up. Adds up. Adds up. Adds up. Adds up. Ack, bad news. You're 1pp over within the Device. Drop it to Split Attack 1'd be my suggestion. The rest works fine, although I'd note Fearsome Presence 2 likely won't do much.
  20. Finally: :approved:
  21. Actually, it got errata'd. Further Staggering or Disabling a Staggered subject renders them unconscious.
  22. History and powers look VERY good. Kudos! Adds up. Adds up, but Shield doesn't affect flat-footed Defence, sadly. Adds up. Adds up. Adds up, but I hope you'll put more in as you accrue pp. Ok, let's break it down! Looks good, but a couple of things: you really won't need Ambidexterity. We don't care if you dual wield without it, it's a kind of useless feat. Precise on a Blast makes Precise Shot redundant. And Ricochet, I'm not saying don't have it, but I'm saying, how often do you need it and could you HP it up? It's up to you, really. Adds up, but I'd strongly advise not having your defence in your array. Admittedly, the Invisibility makes up for it somewhat, but the Teleport'd make you vulnerable. Again, not a no, but a suggestion. (Also: I love dusters ) Adds up.Note that Tracking'd not work off Notice, iirc, but Survival or Search. Note that, if the Vulnerability to Light doesn't affect the Normal Identity, it should be noted as such.
  23. History and so forth look good. Like the idea of seasonal personality shifts. Complications: Struggling: If Willow had to eat or drink she would be a lot worse off. As it is she is only Struggling Nonentity: Willow has no birth certificate, no social security number, no drivers license or any other form of identification that proves that she does, in fact, exist. As far as the System is concerned, she doesn't. Public Identity: Willow is Willow. She has no civilian identity she can return to at the end of a day of heroing. Limited Knowledge: Willow's Knowledge (Life Sciences) only applies to Botany related checks. Adds up, but I'd write it: Str 24/12 (+7/+1) Adds up. Adds up. Adds up. Adds up, but you don't really need to include the Enhanced Feat. Adds up. Since there's only a couple of formatting things, I'm gonna :approved: so you can fix it while waiting for approval two.
  24. ] Snerk. Adds up. Adds up. Adds up. Adds up. Adds up. Adds up. :approved:
