Which I would have known had you put that down somewhere. I even asked earlier on if it was parrying, to which I got no reply. No dice. Colt explicitly uses rubber bullets, Arrowhawk explicitly uses blunthead arrows. Just because we make people use non-lethal damage doesn't mean there doesn't need to be even an attempt to handwave it. -
Hmmm... Arrowhawk might attend, as he doesn't actually dislike Herr Doktor.

Ok, if the sword is completely mundane, how is she: a) parrying bullets using Shield? doing non-lethal damage? -
Edited L3 to PL3 for you. Approved

Needs more detail to it. This is hardly two lines. Paragraphs, please. Like the description, please be a little more elaborate, this is a prose-based site. please list what comes from Growth for the ease of Refs later on. Adds up, but again please list Growth effects. Adds up. Please list it as Attractive, not cute. Adds up, but why does a little girl have a knowledge of how to use rituals? -

Ok, all looks good, but one question to satisfy my curiousity: are they the beings Shakespeare wrote of? Approved -

Even for that height, that seems really low for someone with Strength 20. Wouldn't she have a decent chunk of muscle mass? Yes, but Ace Danger has his tuxedo, or his Indiana Jones get-up. Dok has his labcoat. Is there a reason she doesn't wear a costume? I would like you to re-read this Please, dear Lord, paragraphs. This seems very short. Nothing about her Acrobatics? Adds up. Adds up. Adds up. Adds up. adds up. I need descriptors. Magic? Divine? What? And I assume the Shield is parrying. -
Ok, sorry about the wait. Approved

Adds up, but for NPCs, PL is descriptive, not proscriptive. She's PL3, not 5.

The Scarecrow looked on in horror as its comrade fell to the ground, smashed to smithereens. It immediately began screeching in a high pitched hiss, flailing and thrashing everywhere. It easily hit the weary Equinox, but she expended another valuable chunk of her energy, repelling the blow without even moving from where she stood. Enraged, the scarecrow once more turned and slammed a straw-and-clay fist into Lady Winter's face.

Scarecrow RAGE! ALL-OUT ATTACK RAGE! First, it attacks Equinox. Roll to hit Def 19, then DC 25 Toughness (1d20+6=24, 1d20+10=30) Hits, saves. Ouch. Then... Lady winter! Roll to hit (1d20+6=17). DC 25 Toughness save, with a -2 penalty. Unlike Shaen, I'll let you use the Fiat HP for the attack, but word of advice: if you're not dropped to Disabled or something, I'd not bother re-rolling, and keep the HP.

I'm standing in Giordano's office, cursing to myself and dripping water off my trenchcoat. It always rains around here now. I think the weather was thrown out by the invasion, but I can't prove my suspicions. He walks in, and sits down. "Chris," he says, "It's not looking good." I just nod. Well, duh? "Lemme guess. Horrible, horrible, weird circumstances. Because circumstances are always weird. It's a rule, or something." I go to light a cigarette, but his piercing glare stops me. I nod for him to continue. "It looked like a high velocity hypodermic needle wound, like one fired from a rifle," he reads from the file in front of him. "The chemical compound was new, something we've not seen before. But it essentially ripped his internal organs to shreds." My eyes involuntarily widen at this. "Yowza." Yes, yowza. Don't judge me. "Get a match from the needle's DNA?" He shakes his head. "I was hoping you could tell us if you knew of anything from past experience. Because whoever did this was good enough not to leave a trace." That was when I decided to tell him about my mysterious assailant, who also left no real trace I could find...

Later I think that went well, thought Arrowhawk as he took to the streets late on, after the date. He paused by a chimney stack for a second, blending into the shadows with flawless ease. Well, I hope so. He went to leap off the roof, cape stiffening out behind him as he did, gliding between two rooftops on opposite sides of a wide main street. Thing is... I never did find out what that weird glow was about... He shook his head and gave a wry smile as he rolled to his feet on the slates. Perhaps I should just stop being so paranoid...

Not even pausing to survey the smashed golem, Equinox turned and went to aid Lady Winter again. I hope she's OK... With a wave of her wand and a flick of her coat, she burst into white light and disappeared. Reappearing in the frosted-out casion, Equinox surveyed the destruction. Ice and hail had frozen the whole building's interior, chunks of hail and ice littering the floor, along with the remains of the tin golem. She looked up, eyes blazing white. "Good work," she managed, feeling the fatigue of so much magical expenditure threaten to overwhelm her. Even through the blaxing white glow of her eyes and defensive spells, dark rings were forming under her eyes.

The golem's doooown! But I have 1 HP, so no matter whether I buy off the Exhaustion now, or after stunting to teleport back, I'm Exhausted. So I'll buy it off now, and stunt up a teleport of some sort. Odds are it'll get me back, since I stunted to get here Equinox - 21 - 0 HP - unharmed, Fatigued, Exhausted next round Lady Winter - 15 - 1 HP - Bruised, Injured, DC 25 Toughness save Scarecrow - 5 - Injuredx2 Lion - 5 - NPC - Injuredx2

Siobhan stood with her jaw hanging down before realizing she was gawping. "Wow. You just... know all that? It took humans centuries of scientific experimentation to be able to accurately estimate that, and you just know how to do it." She rubbed her forehead. "Thing is, how am I supposed to know all that accurately, when I need to know it? I can't memorise the weather at the start of the day, as it'll have changed by the afternoon, and changed again by evening."
-
Liz turned back round, smiling wryly. "Yes, I can see that. And I'm still asking." She shook her head. "Far be it from me to poke in your affairs, because I hardly know you, or Erin. But here's the deal." She looked Trevor dead in the eye. "Don't keep secrets. Be open with her, and preferably with other people. Because, while it's not going to be as rough as me and Chris, if you aren't... it'll still be pretty damn rough. You understand?"
