  1. Niro looks almost stereotypically Japanese. He favors flowing clothing made of soft cotton or silk, most commonly in aqua or blue. He wears sandals at all times, weather permitting. - hmmmmmm
  2. Force Field 6 [5PP] (Electromagnetic energy) - might want to take a look at this, @RocketLord!
  3. APPROVED
  4. As Nauseate 5, yeah. Up to you!
  5. "Hah!" Comrade Frost couldn't help but laugh as Fleur de Joie tore the plant monsters apart with a flick of her hand. "They came to wrong house!" He took a moment to adjust himself - pulling his greatcoat out inside his parka to provide another layer of insulation, then vanishing again into a cloud of mist that washed over Tom Cyprus's body like the chilling touch of winter itself. He was no longer holding back now, and the icy mist that was his form glowed and hissed like a frozen fire as it sucked the very life energy from the plant monster. The gates of Hel were open - and business was good!
  6. You may take that as a bruised or a nauseated condition, whichever you think would be the most interesting, durf.
  7. Comrade Frost Comrade Frost takes a standard action to set his Gadgets to the following setting: Greatcoat (Protection 4 (Extra: Impervious 3)) {7/15}Hel's Eye (Enhanced Thermovore Array 4) {8/15} He then moves next to Tom Cyprus. He then surges to hit him with the following effect BE: Damage 16 (thermovorous touch; Extra: Vampiric) {32/32} http://orokos.com/roll/755389 = 10 OMG that's terrible Dimitri what are you thinking I'll spend that HP to reroll, then! http://orokos.com/roll/755390 28 with the HP! OK, that's a DC 31 Tou save on Cyprus.
  8. http://orokos.com/roll/755387 = let's take that hit, and say Woodsman takes a bruise on the way down.
  9. Woodsman climbed to the top of the monster, vaguely aware of scale. He was about five and a half feet tall and the monster was about thirty times that size. Not a rat against a man. A bug, a wasp, an hornet. He took a moment up there, hatchet dug into the rotting flesh of the beast's back, beset by the unspeakable stench from a mountain of decaying meat, to think about what had brought him here. All right you son of a bitch. He crawled his way, hand over hand, amid the sound of helicopter blades, of howls, of screams, of the murderous dead. I know three goddamn things. He reached somewhere around the shoulder of the beast, easily dwarfed by the massive head that swung out in front of him like a city bus with teeth the size of his whole body. One is killing monsters. He drew his bow and fired one-handed, the impervium tip digging deep as it hitting the rotting flesh far out onto the jawline, catching on bone. He tugged, hard, holding on as the creature jerked and bobbed through its fight with the other heroes. The monster barely felt the sting but that was all right - he hooked the other end of the line to his bow and fired again, this time using a gas cartridge bolt to drive it especially deep. Crocodiles got stupid weak arms! The second shot hit the creature right in the midst of its 'palm', the barbed tip digging deep, and suddenly the creature jerked and gave a pained howl as it realized its jaw was now tied to its own body! It jerked, howled - And Woodsman fired another shot, line hooked around the first one, a long, long shot that went zipping down and hit the creature right in the foot! It wavered, roared, and suddenly began to topple backwards. I got you sucker! Oh sh- Tripped up by super-tough line digging into its skin like a man pinned by needle and fishing line, the monster was falling backwards! He dug in his ax and rode out the fall even as his stomach lurched sickeningly, leaping clear at the last second amid the tremendous roar and explosion of the creature slamming tail first into the remains of the church. He hurt as he rolled to the ground and ran, ran from the rampaging god-thing he'd brought down, hurt down in his ankle where he'd landed, but he was alive!
  10. That hits, as the DC to hit it is currently 9. (not 19, 9) Ref save vs. 16: 18 Sorry! Woodsman: Move: Woodsman finishes climbing and reaches the monster's head. He maintains his grip for the moment with his Climb Skill mastery. Standard: He switches to this attack and shoots at the monster: AP: Snare 6 (bola arrow; Extras: Linked [Trip], Transparent; Flaw: Unreliable [5 Uses], PFs: Improved Crit 2) {14} + Trip 6 (Extra: Linked [Snare]; Flaw: Unreliable [5 Uses]; PF: Improved Throw) {7} {14+4=18/21} I'll say he needs to roll despite being physically on the monster, because why not! Power Attacking for +5 http://orokos.com/roll/755379 = 19 That definitely hits. OK, so now the creature starts making Reflex saves. vs. Snare http://orokos.com/roll/755380 it failed by 5, so it is bound and helpless for the moment! vs. Trip This is a pain because it gets a substantial bonus. Riley is gonna use Dex, given the creature is bad at this. But it is so big! The monster rolls a 29 Woodsman is rolling with +11 given that he power attacked for +5 and is using Dex. 31. Okay! I'll say Riley makes it fall backwards - everybody other than Torque and Betsy, give me a DC 15 Reflex save to avoid being hit by splatter effects. Cheval is up as soon as I post IC.
  11. Higher than 15 on any of those checks will tell Cheval and Sagrado Corazon that the largest thing the creature is heading for is a mostly-vacant strip mall nearby. It distinctly turned that way, too, shifting its direction as it started moving. There's not much in the mall these days, just two storefront churches (a Hispanic Pentecostal Church that a friend of Sagrado's attends when he needs to convince his mom everything is okay; and a High Apostolic Church splinter that Cheval is familiar with. Before it gets there, it's going to run right through an block of rowhouses, though.
  12. Croczilla: The beast was a bizarre sight standing - as a bipedal crocodile would be. A massive muzzle as long as its torso, relatively stubby legs and arms - and a tail! The last thought whizzed through Betsy's head a moment before the tail did its best to do just that, cracking down at her with a whipcrack motion that hit like a freight train and sent her flying away through the rainy night. Her arc was low, too low - it saved her from flying out to sea but she was suddenly tumbling along wildly at ground level, digging a trench in the asphalt as she smashed down a rainsoaked street at racecar speeds. She hit a boarded-up window, smashed through it, caught a glimpse of a convenience store inside - and then went out the other side to smash her way bodily into what had once been a nice stone statue but was now so much rubble. She could still see the monster, though, towering above the small buildings of this part of Weston, roaring in triumph as it began stalking its way across the grassy lawn it now occupied like a colossus. Everyone else could see it too - the great beast was about to tear its way through the city unless they stopped it.
  13. Okay, knockback check! Her knockback is -10 +15 from the attacks damage. That's technically 10 miles but that's crazy. I won't make you roll for the hit you'll take when you land nearby. Round 2: Speed Demon: 29, 1HP Woodsman: 26, 1HP Cheval: 21, 3HP Torque: 19, 1HP Sagrado: 15, 3HP Zombie Horde: 10 Betsy: 8, Staggered, 1000 ft away, 0HP Persephone: 6, 4 HP Croczilla: 6 Speed Demon is up, @Thunder King, as soon as I post IC for Croczilla.
  14. Fast-Forward: 35 Hologram: 24
  15. Croczilla: will attempt to step on the most recent creature to attack it - Betsy! It's just crafty enough to use combat feats, so it'll All-Out Attack http://orokos.com/roll/755330 = 22 That hits! DC 40 Tou save, Betsy. If that inflicts knockback, it'll inflict as much of it as possible away towards the ocean. Croczilla spends its move action moving 125 ft away - on its next turn, it will leave the church property and begin rampaging through the city. Sagrado Corazon and Cheval, give me Knowledge (Arcane Lore)/Theo/Civics checks. Everyone else, we'll be in a new round as soon as Tiff rolls and I post IC.
  16. "Ah, well...Terrifica, I want you to understand this is no reflection on you," he said, turning and crossing to the super-genius to shake her hand. "We will put you on reservist list, and you are welcome to try out for Auxiliary League next time." The reservist list would keep Terrifica from interacting with the general public, which seemed only for the best. "And you, Salvo, I want you to come back for another trial next week. Things didn't go so well today but the League thinks you have promise better found under other circumstances." He looked from one lady to the other, hands steepled in front of him.
  17. "Oh thank God," said Bolt, sounding as relieved as a man with a mechanical voice could. "Listen, ladies, it's been a day - we could do a little song and dance, but let's just call it even." He stood up and extended his hand. "Welcome to the Freedom League."
  18. I think we may be ready for violence violence violence!
  19. "Invaded. Conquered. Took the Dawg, came here," sneered Watchdog. "But lots of Grue are actually nice," said Judy brightly, "Ah hear a couple are even superheroes now." Ashley made a skeptical noise, but offered no further commentary as Judy went on, "But we don't really like to talk about where we're from, because it's too dangerous," she said with great feeling. She sighed. "The Caribbean sounds awfully nice. Ah haven't gone any further south than Tampa and that was...seven years ago now. How big was the ship?"
  20. Tou vs 25: http://orokos.com/roll/755136 = 32 Unhurt. @Grumblefloof, Persephone is now up.
  21. Okay, both Sagrado and the zombie horde are tied up - as it were. @Tiffany Korta, Betsy is up.
  22. Okay: Draft list. Gonna try and break it down by load/preference. Extra-Dimensional Birdwatching Club: (Watchdog and Daystar will be in this one) Specimen Horrorshow Crystal-Gazer Fight Club: (Watchdog and Daystar will be in this one) Horrowshow Red Lynx Masque Crystal-Gazer Forever Boy Thunder Bird Octoman Guest Lecturer: (Watchdog and Daystar will not be in this one) Specimen Artificer Red Lynx Octoman Forever Boy Crystal-Gazer
  23. I like it! http://orokos.com/roll/754899 = 21 And they fail. OK, go ahead and start talking them back to sleep.
  24. That hits, Tou vs 27 43 Okay, @angrydurf, now you're up!
