  1. Feel free to recruit people for thread-running, Blarghy - Refs and Guides (and other volunteers) would love to pitch in for you! Could do some teen meta being 'recruited' in Emerald or Bedlam.
  2. Lady Horus will pitch in on the shelf moving if that's still needed.
  3. HGM's a great GM - you guys should go for it!
  4. If you're not already doing something, I'm interested in a thread with Woodsman in Paragons of Freedom.
  5. My favorite M&M supplements, bar none, are the Wargames series, available here - http://drivethrurpg.com/product/85605/Wargames-MegaBundle-BUNDLE?language=es On the other side of things, Worlds of Freedom is...of mixed use. The History sections are actively bad - not badly-written but actively morally wicked.
  6. Moving this so you can finish it before posting it to the Bank.
  7. Okay, I misread - I found what Woodsman spots, and now I have posted!
  8. "Sounds familiar," commented Woodsman. Don't just stand there looking at things. Gonna get written up for being a creeper again. "Lotta these tonight. What do they make here?" As he spoke, he kept studying the scene carefully, looking over the broken glass and marks of a melee and trying to think like a criminal. He was conscious of the others working, or talking, but did his best to concentrate on dividing his attention between the cop and the evidence. He didn't actually bother standing up for the conversation once he was on the scene, instead kneeling down over the broken glass with a careful eye. "Looks like they were headin' fer the elevators. That's a hard thing, though..or maybe the stairs by it. You wouldn't get in an elevator doin' this, they'd close it on ya." He rose to his feet and casually opened the stairway door, hand drifting down to the hatchet on his belt. "Right up the stairs," he commented conversationally as he stuck his head back in before disappearing up the stairwell.
  9. Under normal circumstances, Aquaria knew what she'd be doing. She'd be there on the beach, twirling her tridents, bellowing war cries to the Atlanteans in the sea. War cries to the Atlanteans riding crafts that could run down a fleeing Deep One, coax-coax, and spear them in the back. But she couldn't do that here, not with her friends at her side and a peace to keep, and not with Singularity, so easy to frighten or madden, as her boon companion. Should I have brought her? No - if I hadn't, I could never have come myself. "We-we should forget them," she croaked, fixing her goggle-eyed gaze on the Atlantean warriors. "And their beast." It wasn't like she had any males to impress, she thought ruefully, there was no point in fighting the shark. "We can fly." Well, Singularity couldn't fly - but between her and the others, she could get across the water.
  10. Searching again, taking 10 or 20 as time allows.
  11. "'Zounds!" declared Lady Horus, hands on her hips as she studied the room. "Lo, his abductor must have moved with the speed of Shu itself. Or mayhap a more sinister method - can any of our fellow Bedlamites step between spaces?!" She hmmed as she moved through the room, hovering slightly to avoid actually touching anything. There are some real advantages to this god thing! "A scene of some great struggle - but he was just a man. Who could he have fought so greatly?!" Carefully, she pulled a text on the Aerie off the shelf and flipped through it, then moved down to the next one and flipped through it as well, sliding it back on the shelf as she went. "These are realms beyond. The only thing not touched...!"
  12. As the heroes made their plans, they noticed the few people on the streets heading inside with a strange sort of unanimity - a quick search revealed the same thing happening across the small town of Marfa. The citizens, it seemed, were not going to be part of this show. Glancing in windows suggested nothing overtly sinister was happening; the locals were making lunch, relaxing with their families, and otherwise doing perfectly normal mid-afternoon things in the summer heat of West Texas. But they were all doing the same things - not in perfect lockstep, not like mind-controlled robots, but as if they'd all been given the same instructions. Like actors following the instructions of a director...
  13. Woodsman will fire his Dazzle arrow at the monster (note that's both visual and olfactory) - http://orokos.com/roll/531226 = and score a crit with a +4 Power Attack. OK, that moves the DC of the relevant saves up to 25. Let me know how that goes! He will then retreat backwards thirty feet, trying to stay out of the growing circle of flame.
  14. These sound good! Do we have volunteers to run them?
  15. So there's a giant explosion rushing towards them?
  16. Lots of dangling plot threads here! Plenty of good things to do. I like the idea of the mass migration - combination of refugees fleeing oppression to roaming martial groups looking to seize territory. Plenty of opportunities.
  17. So is it just Merlin who spots those things?
  18. "If your song is sweet enough," agreed Sea Devil. "Singularity and I have both known many who have been freed from these cages." She shot Jessie a nervous glance, found her a helpful wall, so didn't push her any further. It's working! she thought of Jessie's strategy, making a point to thank her once they were away from their prisoner. "But first you must sing for us. Did you help take that man?" She made a small croak, brek-kek-kek, then said with her goggle eyes staring straight at Page, "Before you speak, you should tell the truth. Lies make a falssse song."
  19. "Time does not allow it," admitted Frost. "We must move quickly to meet our next ally - both those who know this foe and have the power to defeat it. Would the two of you...?" He didn't try and finish the sentence, not when it was clear someone else wanted to speak first. "We will meet again, my son," said Vita Nexus's father, and indeed he was smiling, even as he slowly seemed to fade like a projected screen gradually being turned down into transparency. "I am proud of what you have done - I will be prouder still when you have finished-" and with that, he was gone on the summer wind. Having seen many such partings between loved ones, Comrade Frost took this occasion to turn to Volcanic and discreetly murmur, "Our next visit must be to one Shrike, located near Silberman's Bookstore at this address." He gave it to her, then said, "I remembered these creatures - and her name. She has fought them before, in their last incursion into Freedom City..."
  20. "I know things with green blood," croaked Aquaria seriously. "It might be from one of the Children of the Gods Below." With those words, innocent enough from Aquaria's perspective given the clear reality of the Gods Below that waited for the souls of Deep Ones who had been especially squamous in their eyes, she led the way forward again, seeking out their final prisoner while straining her own superhuman senses to their utmost to find clues. She knew that the other being had to be from one of the other worlds that their foe had accessed - but she also knew that Dagon and Hydra lay beneath the waves of any world that had the vasty deeps that had once been her home. But that was a depressing thought to have, especially when she was in the middle of saving the day from a dangerous enemy, so she put the rubbed-smooth thought of all she had lost back in its usual place in the twisty recesses of her mind.
  21. Can I take the 20 I get from Skill Mastery, or should I roll?
  22. Nice! Okay, what's next, guys? The Director is waiting for his stars...
  23. I like these ideas! Hmm - who might be a good PC or five to put in threads about this?
  24. This is a great idea - let me know if you'd like me to run one of those threads, Tiff.
