February 14, 2017 http://bedlam-maniac.tumblr.com/post/157056952707/hardwick-park-crazyshit (CN: Violence, Bright Lights, Disturbing Imagery Video Description: A blonde woman in Egyptian-style garb is standing in the middle of a run-down looking playground. A badly-beaten man is laying on the ground at her feet - and behind him, a small group of frightened gang-bangers are making a pile of guns, knives, and various drugs they seem to have been carrying on their persons. We can't see her face, but her voice crackles with supernatural power as she declares, "Lo, villains! Never again will you market thy poisoned goods in Hardwick Park!" She reaches behind her back and pulls from nothing a glowing Egyptian ankh - which she then plunges into the pile of guns and drugs at her feet. In a flare of light, the contraband vanishes. "This block is guarded by Lady Horus herself! Now begone, and find you honest work! Show pride in thy home!" She turns and addresses the camera directly, her voice calming a little, as the men run. "Didst you get all that, girl? Good. Send it to every teenager in this city!" )

ic The Battle of City Hall (IC)
Avenger Assembled replied to Avenger Assembled's topic in Bedlam City
Impossibly fast, her body glowing with barely suppressed solar energy, Lady Horus smashed the snake man in the face - then the back of the head, then the mid-section, then the kneecaps, then across the face again in a blur of motion that ended with one final haymaker delivered directly to the top of his head. The Scion fell - and as he landed, disintegrated into a mass of writhing snakes. The mass of serpents wriggled their way out of Judex's grasp and vanished beneath the cracked asphalt, disappearing with a speed that suggested supernatural force. Breathing hard, Lady Horus took a step back and slid her ankh into place, behind her back, between her shoulder blades. The upper part of the demigod's face was invisible - but the lower half was smiling. "Aye, thou art worthy allies. The serpent's scion learned a lesson about Bedlam today! What are your names?" Behind her, there were the sounds of sirens - it was clear the police were on their way. At the sound, Horus' head whipped around, her white-blonde curls dancing as she moved. "Hah! The pigpen has been opened!"- 17 replies

Sorry for the delay! Combat block needs to be fixed - grapple, knockback, ranged attack, etc. Can you fix the array so it looks like the ones on our sample sheet? Looking good outside of that.- 13 replies

Okay, so we do the group threads, then scale it into the main event. Sounds good - let's use the whip hand and get at it. -

Okay, a couple of things. It looks like the formatting got cut out here. Can you go through and move things around so it looks like the template sheets? http://www.freedomplaybypost.com/start/sample-characters/sample-character-2-martial-artist-r16/ In terms of bolding, italics, and spaces. Also put in some paragraphs and line spacing so we can read that backstory.- 13 replies

"Yes." This was not a conversation Steve had wanted to broach himself - but now that it had, there was no reason to avoid it. . "I sensed unusual energies as well." That there was only one particular unusual energy that his cybernetically enhanced senses could detect he needed not explain - his allies knew that well enough. Instead he ate more popcorn, letting the others chime in. Perhaps the weight will be less grave when it is shared.

In the inside of the truck, Sea Devil kept to herself, crouching on the floor and spurning seats and benches meant for beings with shorter legs and joints that flexed in different directions. She'd been in fights since coming to the Surface, but this felt different from those. It was more like a raid - something she knew only too well. So she took the opportunity to make her mark, extending her tri-fingered hand and summoning a glowing verdigris trident that hummed faintly as the star-stuff of its body interacted with the air around her. She made a small sign on the floor, not cutting deep enough to go all the way through the metal, while chanting softly to herself in a mechanical rumble that echoed through the truck. " Run-tun-run-tun-tun..."

emerald city Emerald City Crime Wave!
Avenger Assembled replied to Raveled's topic in The Lighthouse: Catchphrase!
A post or two for everyone in the individual threads sounds promising, as Ari suggests. By the same token, Citizen could be nearly anywhere as far as partnering - he's a science hero who does lots of public appearances. -
To be resubmitted as new sheets, in accordance with the prophecies. - Fox A brand-new sheet for Edge's sidekick Monsoon, building her as the PL 12 ranged fighter she needs to be during and after her pregnancy. This is just the math changing.

My advice would be to double up PCs in threads. Too many solo threads will mean the event runs as slowly as the slowest person.
