  1. Tou vs 23 https://orokos.com/roll/961657 bruised! Werewolf 2 bites! 18 That's a hit! The Patriot will interpose as usual - luckily that misses her defense! Werewolf 3 attacks La Puma - this one can't be interposed for! 19 a DC 25 Tou save! Werewolf 4 goes for Daisy! 23 a hit - and with a 24, Daisy takes an injured.
  2. With her hands folded behind her back, Neko dodged Horrowshow's blows, her expression seemingly stone-faced as she bobbed and weaved. When she thought no one else could see, she winked, just once, then her eyes widened as she looked at the trouble Owain was in. Owain, who had reached out to her when no one would - Owain, who had come to this place and away from his family because of her."Owain! <Bite out his heart!>" The air around her was crackling with magic, a distinct sound of screaming cats echoing from nowhere in particular. But the mage-knight was of a kinder disposition than that despite the battering he was getting, jaws clamping down on his target with a loud growl, teeth digging into the muscles of thigh and calf.
  3. La Puma Negra: 24 Werewolves 2 +3 + 4: 20 Daisy: 19 Patriot II: 15
  4. Bleeding and battered, the wolf man continued his flight out the door, finally collapsing halfway down towards the hostages, bleeding and battered from several injuries. The Patriot whispered almost inaudibly - "The most likely time for hostages to die is when the hostage takers know that rescue is coming. But with these guys, once they smell the blood of their own-" Sure enough, there was a howling and growling from inside the hostage room amid terrified screaming - but then an instant later, three more wolves came barreling out of the room and running towards the heroes (and Daisy). A voice was yelling after them from inside - "Stop, you idiots! Stop!" but they did not seem to be listening. "This is it!" yelled the Patriot, pistols flying into her hands.
  5. Neko had no idea where Boston was, but she certainly wasn't going to admit that - especially not in front of Carmen. Reaching down to take Leon's hand again, she said, agreeing with Leon, "The teachers are very soft. Do not worry about them, no, okay?" There were students she thought deserved a caning, but she knew from her host family that such things weren't really practiced anymore. "If you want to be a-American superhero, Claremont is a good school. I learn...ed a lot here."
  6. "Yeah okay," said Neko too easily to Leon, "I am saying hello to Carmen's friend." She was nervous, wondering what her own new relationship (is that what it was?) would mean for this encounter. "Hello and welcome to Claremont," she said, tail twitching nervously behind her. If Carmen was more cat than girl, Neko was more girl than cat, but their mutual feline nature was obvious. "Are you from here?"
  7. Set can tell that Faster Pussycat was turning away from the door to come at them again even before Neko 'bricked it up'.
  8. For her part, Neko didn't quite understand the rapid-fire banter that was passing between the three Americans - but she knew enough to know that all of them were being crudely insulted by this woman who bore the mark of feline power. Do Set and Sekhmet count as Americans? Egypt was obviously very far away from the United States but it didn't sound like they had just descended from their heavenly realm in Egypt and flown over here. She turned to Red and flashed an elaborate shrug, then pointed one sharp finger down the corridor. "That is right!" she called after Faster Pussycat, automatically backing up the two godlings even if she wasn't sure of everything they'd said. "You are done for!" She pointed at the door that Faster Pussycat had just reached and bricks flew up from nowhere to block her, clacking into place at super-speed. The catwoman hissed and turned to face them and Neko frowned, her white brows pushing together. Something isn't right here...
  9. Okay! Neko tries dropping an Illusion on Faster Pussycat to keep her in the hallway. https://orokos.com/roll/960537 = 29 She can't see through that on a nat-20, so she's still here. I'm going to make an IC post - let's see a Sense Motive check from Set and Sekhmet!
  10. https://orokos.com/roll/960531 my guy is flat-footed! https://orokos.com/roll/960532 and he's out!
  11. https://orokos.com/roll/960345 13 failed the Reflex save Tou vs 23: 19 I'll take that bruise
  12. With a roar, the wolf threw Carmen off him in a hard shove, reeking of alien sweat with the essential element of canine. "Filthy Earthspawn! Give us the stone!" he roared. With that he leaped for the Patriot, jaw snapping with teeth long and sharp as knives. His bite closed on the Patriot's jacket as Ashley raised her left arm to defend herself but missed flesh, Ashley briefly caught as the teeth sank into tough leather that she couldn't tear free from! And then Daisy spoke. "Stop it. Stop it. Stop it." Her eyes were red again as she spoke in the low slithering tones of a snake, her gaze fixed directly on the werewolf's, who seemed to struggle, shaking his head and releasing the Patriot from his jaws. "STOP IT. STOP IT. STOP IT." she kept on, advancing slowly on the frozen wolf. The Patriot snapped off a glowing-red laser shot into the wolf's leg, making him howl, and hissed- "Puma, hit that leg again. Daisy, make him run back to Papa!"
  13. The wolf tries for a Startle vs. the Patriot 21 Ashley shakes it with her Skill Mastery And an attack: 23 That just barely hits Tou vs 25: I'll spend an HP on Ultimate Toughness - so she's down one but not hurt! Daisy: tries to startle the dude right back 27 35 Doesn't work! Nobody's scared. She tries for mind control 30 14 That works! Patriot II: Tries for a startle on the dude 25 vs 21 Somebody is actually startled! Blast vs. his face https://orokos.com/roll/960256 = 11 That's a miss but I will surge and do it again 27 That's a hit! Tou vs 27: 14 Okay! Guy is bruised, staggered, and mind-controlled. You're up as soon as I post IC>
  14. Okay, let's see. Sense Motive vs. Feint: 21 Her Sense Motive isn't that high - better use Bluff vs the Taunt! Sense Motive vs. Taunt: 26 Just made that one, but she is still feinted. Her flat-footed to-hit is just 14, so that hit does juuuust barely make it! https://orokos.com/roll/960088 = 23! Okay, that's a bruise. 28 She avoids the grapple.
  15. "Why, this," sneered the speedster, cracking her knuckles before leaping at Sekhmet in a rapid series of blows the leonine goddess only just managed to dodge, a distinct sound of a growling cat moving with her like ambient music as she went for Sekhmet. She might be dressed like a joke but she didn't hit like one; the claw marks she left on the walls as she swiped at Sekhmet dug two knuckles deep. "Is this really the only people who were here?" she spat, claws extended as she held her hands on either side of her face. "Two failed gods and a fetish streamer?" She turned and ran, zipping past the three of them faster than the eye could follow. "Pathetic! I knew I should have taken off once I had it!" she sneered, clinging to the door on the far side of the hallway.
  16. Faster Pussycat: 29 Sekhmet: 18 Set: 14 Neko: 12 Okay, FP is going to go for Sekhmet - with a 15 as a clean miss! Okay, I'll post IC tomorrow.
  17. Before Daisy could answer, a gigantic man-wolf came charging into the room, barreling out of a nearby room full of the sound of human screaming. It was a big creature, taller than any of the women, with a muscular chest and build and distinct scent of human fear on it. "Stupid Earth-things!" it bellowed at the trio. "What did-hey where did you come from?" it started to say just as it noticed its unconscious brother-in-arms - just as Daisy smiled and the Patriot took aim with her pistol.
  18. La Puma Negra: 24 Werewolf 1: 20 Daisy: 19 Patriot II: 15 Okay, you're up first!
  19. Neko took the art from Leon and blushed, her cheeks coloring in distinct lined patterns. "Thank you, Leon." She smiled shyly, looked from the pretty boy to the pretty work and back again, and took his hand. And unlike so many times in her mind when she'd pictured a moment like this, she didn't even weep. Smiling, Neko walked along with Leon, having pressed the latter into service of carrying the small sack of money she had swapped out with Owain back at the cash register of their little impromptu business. She'd intended to give Carmen and her new friend a wide berth as they went, but suddenly she stopped, ears pointing forward as she picked up on the tension between the two. She hadn't caught all the words, but she knew a difficult moment when she saw it. She glanced at Leon, then walked towards the duo, tail swishing behind her. "Hiiii!" she said cheerfully, drawing on her best 'American manners' to give them both a big smile that showed just a little bit of pointy teeth. She was as much girl as cat, wearing a bright red kimono over blue jeans. "Welcome to Claremont," she said, yellow eyes wide, accent heavy. "I am Neko Musume, and this is Leon."
  20. Okay, let's have another initiative, @MoonSimply
  21. Okay, @Gizmo, let's see some initiative! Faster Pussycat goes on 29 Neko goes on 12
  22. The Patriot looked at her protege and shook her head, not sure what Carmen was trying to tell her, and decided to kick in the door. She went first and quiet, gun in hand as she kicked open the door and dropped to one knee when she saw a werewolf down on his hands and knees in front of her secretary. She fired a single shot that took the wolf in the back of the head, knocking him down like a poleaxed steer. Carmen saw Daisy's eyes widen as she looked past her boss to see the teen, eyes distinctly red turning human again as she slurred "Hey boss," for a a moment before stabilizing. "Good shot, but I bet those dog ears heard-" "We'll talk later," said the Patriot, up on her feet again. "Where are the other hostages?" From down the hall, everyone heard the distinct sound of human screaming...
  23. They threw open the closet door together, only to find the hallway nearly empty. The Patriot didn't blink, though, moving through the room with a cool, tactical eye, her pistol out and ready for action. Holding up a finger for silence, they stepped close to the door of the Patriot's office. They could both hear noises inside, but from the way the Patriot turned expectantly to La Puma Negra, Ashley couldn't make out what was happening inside. Carmen could hear something, though - the familiar voice of Daisy Gibbons but gone soft and sinuous and snake-like, a feeling like a soft hand rubbing her fur the wrong way as it said "That's right, little puppy. Now - kneel before me."
