Suddenly, icy hoarfrost began forming on the antibody's surface - the cold metal of its shell frosting over with a growing rime of ice. The mindless machine began suddenly clawing at itself as if trying to attack an intruder, but the intruder was inside its own horrible metallic flesh! Icy mist poured from those cold eyes as the machine locked up with the crackle of freezing steel before it fell to the floor as if an internal switch had been flipped - shattering into a billion pieces of flash-frozen metal. From the ruins came streaming up a cloud of icy fog that transformed itself into a cold, white figure all too familiar to the other heroes. "It is very cold in space. But not so cold as the heart of...FROST!" He declared over the broken remains of the antibody he had destroyed before clapping his hands together. "Delightful! Let us kill more robots."

"...yes," replied Caradoc, after a moment's pause in the fighting. "But unlike yours." It was that tone that meant there was a terrible story there - a tone that Erik had heard a lot from Steve over the years. But suddenly another sphere was surging forward, fast enough to batter Erik aside and slam him down onto the dusty Lunar surface below hard enough to rattle his teeth. The ball didn't roll over him, maybe because it had spent its momentum knocking him down, but the way was now clear for the spheres to sweep inside the dome!

"Of course it is, Isacc Newton was a primitive superstitionist who believed in alchemical mumbo-jumbo! 400 years ago this planet was nothing but woodframed buildings and people voiding their bowels into holes in the ground." The robot sounded as animated about that as he had selling Miss A's wares at the tech expo - and Sharl was happy to admit he was scared, too. "You might as well...oh, no!" Gradually the Citizen-flame burning on the computronium began to shrink down; it was clear the robotic hero was losing control of the nanites before them. "I can't...I can't do this alone! I need someone who can help me tap into the system!" he called at his maximum volume, taking advantage of the speakers built into the system to shout across the battlefield.

Comrade Frost will activate his Insubstantial and Flight. He will then attack the Antibody attacking Fleur de Joie. It's a minion - can he take 10 and hit if he all-out attacks +2? (Bringing his taking-10 to 20) If so, that's a DC 27 Toughness save.

"Greetings!" A voice from below caught the attention of hero and bee alike - though what a face that voice belonged to. The hero wore a fairly typical superhero outfit - a spandex costume that was mostly black with green highlights, with a light green cape behind him. On his chest and cape were an arcane symbol like a warped star. Warped seemed to be the right word for this fellow. His skin was a sickly shade of green and his arms and leged were scaled; as were the wings behind his back. He smelled, up close, faintly of the sea and of salt. "Welcome to Earth, Freedom League. I'm Warlock. It's nice to meet you at last. He didn't say anything about...WHY ARE THERE GIANT BEES?" he added, shouting over their buzz. - "And I was right," said Frost, a trifle defensively. "But you see what happened?!?" he demanded of the others as he waved his hands over the arcane symbols on the walls. "It was closed time loop! The Anopheles incursion came in _this_ world. You see how they had planned to swap their bodies with the creatures?" he asked, pointing at some unpleasant-looking glyphs written in what was almost certainly blood. "Making it a native Incursion and thus guarding themselves from whatever Pact exists on this plane. Magnificent work, odious little parasites they are."

A tap of his foot kicked on Sharl's emitter and he left it there, quietly humming under the table, while he rose to his feet and walked smoothly to the primitive circuit panel and switches that controlled the artificial lighting in the room. He felt a glow of warm satisfaction as his chest symbol lit up, a brilliant electric blue that matched the wi-fi logo Terrans used. It felt good being Citizen. Citizen didn't need to worry about stupid Terran criminals who obviously needed a serious neural readjustment; or for that matter about the smoldering husks of dead worlds and cybernetic horrors from beyond the stars. Citizen was a superhero who could kick some bad guy butt and kiss a pretty girl when it was all done. He shoved his hand through the light panel and fried it with a thought, a slight jolt of conducted photonic energy shooting through the primitive Terran metallic circuitry and frying it like one of Koshiro's pastries. As the lights went out and his chest glowed a bright blue in the dark, making him the most obvious target in the room, he knew they were already winning. "Show's over!"

The little girl raised her head and looked at Midnight, suspicion in wine-dark eyes rimmed with the redness of tears. "Cookies," she agreed. "Don't use your teef." She watched again, carefully, as Midnight opened the box - and snatched up a chocolate mint Oreo before gobbling it down with ferocity. She was very interested in the talking motorcycle - maybe more than she was scared of Midnight. "Gimmie a ride?" she asked Midnight and Redbird both, her voice somewhat muffled by the cookie in her mouth. "Oh, are you tired of me already?" asked Nina, her voice a gentle tease. "You can come too," she reassured Monsoon before looking back at Midnight and Redbird.

He was rewarded for his question by a ball of filthy floodwater that went rocketing past his head and circled around Nina's, whirling faster and faster, before it seemed to harden to crystal clarity. The waterblade buried itself in the cunningly concealed lock she'd discovered and slowly permeated the electronics before erupting back outwards, taking the entire security mechanism with it in a shower of sparks, quickly muffled by the water itself. "They are as poor at keeping secrets as they are everything else," she informed Cannonade frankly.
