She fails the Reflex save and is hurled flaming into the air to dangle there Doctor Archeville is up.

Freedom Angel gave Wander a serious look at that, but said sincerely, "I'm always happy to help those in need." He took a few steps and walked out the door, taking off a few feet in the air to get a better look at the area. When he caught sight of James, he seemed to freeze, fluffy white wings spreading out behind him and square jaw setting in a way that didn't look entirely friendly.

Johnny misses, and is sad. Liberty grabs the crate and flies! She's 2500 feet away, heading down the coast, at time of this writing. Doctor Archeville is up.
-
The three 'Leaguers' staggered under Dark Star's gravitic onslaught, each nearly succumbing before they each proved able to either resist its effects or simply bolt out of the way and up onto the ceiling. "We need a hostage!" called the man with Johnny Wade's face. "I'll grab the pretty one!" And with that, he charged Ace Danger at blinding speed, only the immortal hero's super-honed reflexes letting him escape the supersonic attack. For her part, the woman in Lady Liberty's costume gave a mocking laugh. "Wade, you stupid-" She then used many words to describe him, none of which Lady Liberty would usually have used to describe Johnny Rocket where anyone could hear. "We need the transmitter!" And with that, she bent down, scooped up the crate, and flew from the room with a near-sonic BOOM that rattled the walls. "Thunder, cover me!"

Our order is: Johnny: 43 Liberty: 22 Doctor Archeville: 19 Thunder: 17 Fleur de Joie: 14 Dark Star: 11 Freedom Angel: 8 Ace Danger: 6 Reflex saves vs. Gravity Control Johnny makes it and is unaffected. Thunder's Strength is such that he passes the check automatically. Liberty makes the save
-
The top of the initiative order is for suckers anyway: 8

Nothing here is a bad idea! Just make sure you do actually tell the Refs any canon-monkeying you're doing.

Drop the Benefit (King of the Vampires) for Avenger. (It hasn't come up that often, and IC his power base has basically fragmented.) 3 ranks of Intimidate (to 19, his PL maximum) 1 rank of Investigate (to 1 (+1) [1 pp] And the Feat Ultimate Skill (Intimidate) [1 pp] Sandman XI will now claim the title for himself!

"Certainly," said Heyzel without hesitation. He could sense the hesitation around her name, but if she chose to give a false one, that was her concern. "If you'd rather we use nicknames, by the way, you can call me Freedom Angel." He smiled at her and called through the door. "Come in, we have the place to ourselves! I've been working on making pies for the bake sale. It's very interesting, I've never actually made food before."

"The defenses in this place can affect even beings like Dark Star," said Avenger calmly. "Some of them, anyway, given his powers. I've had to guess at the precise nature of his abilities...but this place has the potential to take him down. Assuming he doesn't realize that and blast the building from orbit." He thought for a minute, then shook his head. "No, no, if he could do that, he'd have done it to you and Stesha. Lack of imagination, or sadism. This version of Dark Star prefers to kill where he can see faces and hear cries." He was quiet for a moment before he said, "Many of my enemies operate at a different level than the rest of you. I'll do everything in my power to make sure he's taken alive."

"Hello!" Freedom Angel had turned at the sound of the door opening, his keen ears easily catching it, and started flying quickly as he heard someone call out for him. He didn't really have room to fly outside the main sanctuary, so instead he walked up to the young woman who'd just entered. "My name is Heyzel. What can I do for you?"

Mark put his arm around Faith in a friendly sort of way, reaching down to embrace her around the shoulders. "Let's try food," he suggested. "That way we can make plans for later." He looked down into her eyes and said, "I know a guy in the cafeteria who can take real good care of you, or we can run out to Champions." Mark _really_ liked Champions. "You're the guest; where would you like to go?"

It's a Jungle Out There (OOC), Closed

I'm not comfortable with Psyche pitting her will directly against the might of the Terminus Collective. If any PL 11 telepath can do that, why don't more of them? Have an HP for that, though, since it's not in the book. Stunt something else? =) -
Mark attacks the ball and spends a HP to make the ball fail. Then spends another HP on Mike to use on a Notice check
-
"I'll get us out of this!" said Mark boldly. He gave the ball a little shove, rolling them right into the path of an oncoming 18-wheeler. Before Mike could react, the ball shattered into a thousand pieces, spinning away into nothingness on the busy road. Standing without fear as simulated cars rolled by, Mark pointed dramatically. "I bet...they're on one of those rooftops! How many can there be in Freedom City?"

Avenger spends this round refocusing. He'll go at the top of the initiative order next time. Dark Star is up.

The Patchwork Girl gave a terrible shriek as she burst into flames, stitches smoldering and skin blackening, as James' fiery blast washed over her. Keening, she kept her feet, in pain but obviously able to push past it despite her growing injuries. Meanwhile, the golem disappeared into space far above.

"I'm just glad to be here," said Jack, smiling at Taylor and ignoring the others for a moment. Planting a kiss on her cheek, he said, "Why don't you open my present first," he suggested, bringing out a box wrapped in glossy black paper. "That way you won't have me heckling you about it the whole time."
-
With a look of deep disgust on his face, Jack simply disappeared down the corridor, reappearing in the room Dr. Archeville had suggested. He stood in a room full of mirrors, reflecting in exactly none of them. If it was possible for this afternoon to get anymore awkward, he wasn't at all sure how he'd go about doing that. Always private, especially about his relationship with Taylor, this sort of under-the-lens examination was the last thing he wanted. Especially now.
-
"That's probably for the best," Jack admitted, shifting uncomfortably as they headed after Dr. Chun. "I mean, the last thing we need is her thinking I'm more evil than I already am for knocking you up before the wedding," he said with a false little laugh. That particular joke was truer to his real feelings than he wanted to admit. "You can tell them it's inherited from me, and that's why I don't eat. That'll solve that issue too."

Down an HP for the Accurate Burst Area Selective Teleport.

"Oh boy, you've got a robot!" Edge looked pleased at that. "Robots are fun. Has he gone mad and tried to destroy you yet?" He paused, shook his head, then added, "But there's no time for that now!" He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small electronic device, a short metal tube with a red button on the top. "Here, I just happened to have this point-to-point teleporter with me today." He smiled. "It was a birthday present. Everyone organic hold on!" And with that, he pushed the button, and a flash of light swept out to encompass all of them.
