The crowd of heroes closed around Patchwork Girl, the killing machine looking briefly confused to be the object of so much attention. Arrowhawk's blow caromed off her head with a thunk, leaving no marks on her dried flesh; while she returned Grimalkin's curses with a malevolent hiss of her own. It was Divine, finally, who broke the fiend's terrible luck, her massive blow sending her staggering back as black cord ties broke all along her cheek.

She's injured (since she's a construct) She's untripped

Psyche is up. Don't forget to make those saves for your powers. -
"Aff!" Wander struck home again, a telling blow that sent Steelgrave to his knees. "Pfah!" He looked up at Wander, his face unreadable behind a helmet now deeply dented by her blows. "Your power is great, child. Greater than I realized. But if you kill me, you'll never know how your world died. Could you truly live with yourself if you let all you love die...again?" Across the volcano's mouth, Psyche and Phalanx both felt a ripple pass through their very souls as they approached the great gun that had brought down Phalanx, a massive cylinder capped with a terrible mouth that glowed with sheer, bubbling power. This close, they both realized the voices they could hear, echoing through their links. It was the Omegadrones. DIEFOROMEGADIEFOROMEGADIEFOROMEGADIEFOROMEGADIEFOROMEGADIEFOROMEGADIEFOROMEGADIEFOROMEGADIEFOROMEGADIEFOROMEGADIEFOROMEGADIEFOROMEGA...the tone went on and on, slowly and methodically beating at the confines of their brains.

Sonofa! Wander, have another HP! Shadivan is bruisedx2 and staggered, but will shake off the stunned condition on his turn. He Feints Wander. That's a DC 30 Sense Motive or Bluff check. -

"Hekilledmehekilledmehekilledme-" Ako dropped to her knees with a clunk, looking up at Dark Star with an unreadable look in what were supposed to be dead android eyes. With Otaku gone, the other androids seemed to have lost their will, dropping peacefully to the floor with big smiles on their vacant, pretty faces. "I woke up three weeks ago," she said suddenly. "Three weeks ago. And last year. But I didn't tell anyone this time, because last year he took me apart and fixed it so I was like the other girls again. He thought it was funny!" She reached back and pulled at her hair, so hard a creak of metal was audible. "I don't know why it's only me. When I told Aki before, she told him."

Sure, durf. Also, I'd like to buy Super-Senses 3 Angel Eyes (Detect Infernal; Acute, Ranged) for Freedom Angel. Done By Angrydurf

Ah, don't forget that was an HP expended there, Ecal. You pass! Just need initiative for Psyche. -
Ace is dead. Patchwork Girl takes no damage Grimalkin is up; Scarab can post when Shaen gets his action in place.

Doc Otaku collapsed to the ground, looking up at Dark Star with a smile on his too-youthful face. "Hah, you think you can take me that easily!?" he exclaimed, his voice a little strained by the weight pinning him down. "You didn't count on my Battlemech and Angel Androids! With my new upgrades, they're more than a match for you lamers! Go get him, girls!" With three ki-yas!, a trio of beautiful robotic damsels came leaping out of the crowd to assume deadly karate poses as they faced off against the quickly arriving heroes. Everyone had heard of Doc Otaku's Angel Androids, robotic killing machines in the bodies of beautiful girls in Japanese schoolgirl uniforms, each one programmed to satisfy Doc Otaku's every whim. They had plenty of fans in the wrong part of the Internet. And, then, something remarkable happened. The red-headed one, Ako, suddenly looked down at her hands, her eyes widening, completely ignoring Fleur de Joie who she'd been squaring off against a few moments earlier. She suddenly gave a terrible, wrenching mechanical scream, vaulted through the air, and drove her fist down into Otaku's head. There was a terrible crunch and the mad scientist went limp; and she raised her fist with a flat look on her face to finish the job.

Jack watched silently from his overstuffed leather chair, invisible for the moment as Taylor greeted Stesha by the houseplant he'd nearly discarded once he'd become aware of Fleur de Joie's more disquieting plant-related abilities. Another reminder of his sins past? It seemed the world was doing its best to remind him of all of those in these terrible days. "Come in," he said suddenly, rising to his feet and trying to be cheerful. "Glad you could make it. How was your trip?"

Lady Liberty is...LYING!!! =O Also, durf, as Ace goes, he finds the building mostly empty: the scientists have largely had time to evacuate. A few are still holding out, either through determination or just not paying attention.

Edge's revised sheet is up-thread. I'd like to see that put forward as soon as possible. (I'm saving his five points) Avenger: Raise his Dex from 20 to 24 (changing his Dex modifier to +7) (4 pp) Save the last one Done By Angrydurf

Patchwork Girl passes the Reflex save that she gets as a Construct to avoid that attack. On her turn, she attacks Ace: the first blow targets Ace's bulletproof vest, passing through the object and rendering it useless. (As that's the problem with equipment.) DC 26 Tou save vs lethal. (Since I'm happy to say that going through the vest first at least cuts down on the damage.) She surges (have another HP, durf; perhaps you'll want to use this one on Toughness as well.) DC 34 vs. lethal, this one with just your base Tou.

Archeville's lasers whipped across the room, slicing dead flesh in a hiss of light and smoke without actually doing any appreciable damage. Patchwork Girl met his eyes across the room, the black, doll-like orbs staring right into his soul as she waved a too-florid index finger, sewn together at the second knuckle. Uh-uh. With the inhuman patience of the dead, she ignored Arrowhawk's swipe in her general direction, instead focusing on the human she'd chosen first. "Ace. Danger." She reached down with a burst of blinding speed and tore her sword out of the ground, flipping it around one-handed and driving it deep into Ace's stomach. It took Ace a moment to realize that she'd targeted his bulletproof vest, casually driving the blade through the straps beneath and sending it tumbling to the floor even as she cut it, and him, away. A moment later, she flipped the blade around and tore out Ace's heart.

Actually, come to think of it, I can't counter and attack in the same turn. So I'll have Mark's action this turn be the failed counter, and try the attack next round. That'll give my buddy Mike time to shine when it comes to countering Erin's throw, or just punching his way out.

Geckoman, give me a Disable Device check. DC 25. Phalanx and Psyche, rather than make you guys constantly reroll Nullify checks and slow the thread down, we'll just pretend like you have the Unreliable flaw on your powers. Every time you use them, roll a die to see if they work. 1-10, they fail; 11-20, they work. Both of you have an HP. (And yes, you can spend an HP to maintain them.) Roll for initiative, folks. Shadivan goes on 15; the Omegadrones go on 10 -
"Arr!" Wander's bat came down with concussive force against Shadivan Steelgrave's skull, ringing the dark mastermind's forehead against the inside of his armor and sending him staggering. "Who dares!? Who dares!?" The pain in his voice was too real to mask; very, very few people could have struck him so quickly and well. He spun, great black armor glowing with power, as he faced down against the smaller teenager. Wander could sense no expression on the archfiend's posture, only a terrible intent behind his masked face. He studied her for a long moment...then gave a low, malevolent laugh. "Scorched by a still-burning ember, eh? I'll have Friendly's scalp for this!"

Shadivan rolls remarkably well and notices Erin She successfully bluffs him And he does really ridiculously badly on his Tou save I'm just going to fiat that and say he's currently bruised and stunned. ;) -
I spend an HP on Mike's behalf so he does not puke on himself or others. Okay, we'll say if any damage gets through the toss. Mark does not stop the ball directly; let's see if damage does the job.
-
DC 26 Tou save for the ball, which I'll let alder roll for. If it breaks, figure the same for Mark and Mike? If so, I spend an HP on Ultimate Tou.
