  1. Anyone can feel free to post if you like. I'll be trying to kick start this back into shape in about a week probably as everyone seems a bit busy and this is move week for my household. No rolls necessary to dramatically jump through the closing doors by the skin of your teeth or anything.
  2. Ace flashed the raging god an almost mocking smile, perhaps not the wisest of courses, but no one had ever accused Ace of that virtue, and replied easily, "Ah come on now we had some good times there Donar." he made a show as if recalling, "I mean there was that delightful evening at the cabaret in Munich after all." he suggested tone tilting up almost questioningly at the end. It wasn't perhaps entirely accurate but all the more likely to keep the gods attention focused squarely on Ace rather than his companions. Yes. Wisdom most certainly not one of Aces gifts. Turning aside to Edge he murmured, "Really, You take a mans giant compensation hammer one time and he never forgives you." He paused, "Wish I had thought to bring those dwarf made bracers ..." he mused almost as an afterthought.
  3. Toughness save 1d20+15=26 Injured and Bruised. Ironclad is up. If She wants to blow and HP to shake off the daze (I assume that is allowed as a replacement for shaking off the stun function?)
  4. Knowledge physical sciences (1d20+3=17) Skill mastery on Bluff gets Ace a 34

  9. With a resounding boom Ironclads energy bolt tore the doors from their hinges sending them sailing to clatter at the feet of an Huge Bronze behemoth crackling with electricity. The fires in its boiler seem to flare and its 'eyes' glow with an orange and malevolent light as the heroes hear a low building whine coming from the enormous construct. Caradoc's blast of entropy slams into the armored body scorching and warping armored plates but to no avail as the whine reaches a fever pitch and the crackling electricity around the Giant Robot erupts in an expanding storm of electricity!
  10. Doors are destroyified. Harriers covering fire action goes off Toughness save DC 27 (1d20+15=32) Passes Same time the Giant Robots' readied action goes off. Damage 10 (Electro Burst/Electric; Extras: Area: General Burst, Linked: Stun) Stun 10 (Electro Burst/Electric; Extras: Area: General Burst, Linked: Damage; Flaws: Daze) So DC 20 Reflex Save for half damage then DC 25 Toughness and DC 20 Fortitude saves Electricity descriptor. Initiative time! Giant Robot: Initiative! (1d20-2=11)
  11. Alright want to use connected to get the paparazzi up there basically give them the hot tip that Ace and his lovely companion will be 'vacationing' there but demand first view on the pictures as well so Ace can go over them to look for likely suspects. No better surveilance than Paparrazi after all :D
  12. There were a number of ways to arrive with pomp and circumstance to a luxury resort such as this, it would be easy to get a limousine, or even private helicopter for the trip from the nearest airport of course. Ace however had a statement to make with his arrival. Thusly he whipped the Danger-Car through the curving roads of the Tyrolian countryside and down the narrow streets of the small village supporting the chalet. He came to a screeching halt at the main entrance to the luxury accommodations and hopped easily from the driver seat with an eager smile. Due to careful leaks there was a small coterie of Paparazzi there to document his arrival as well of course drawing further attention to be sure. He passed the keys to the valet as he opened the passenger side door for the ever lovely Talya Browning and taking her arm headed into the Hotel to check in leaving his bags in the care of the staff without a thought. Of course he half way planned for them to be on the take and thusly had been sure to pack some surveillance equipment for them to tamper with. The real deal of course was carried on his person.
  13. "Good work Everyone." Phalanx said as he came to rest having ensured the small building was clear before Gaian Knight had so capably contained the blaze. He stepped up to offer what minor aid he could to the wounded and assisted with triage until the Grue was revealed. He immediately stepped forward placing himself between the Grue and most of the onlookers. He looked at the alien uncertainly, "What is your purpose here?" he asked in a ringing tone. The motives of the Grue were a mystery to him but he knew they were rarely in line with the public good. And yet this one had saved a human child at great personal risk. It bore investigation at the least.
  14. The initial layers of security parted before Ironclads technopathic assault like so much wheat before the scythe. Unfortunately getting to any systems more complex than internal e-mail and duty rosters seemed beyond her skill. With some effort she was able to get read only access to some of the reactor control system logs. While the external draw had been eliminated entirely the reactors were steadily hearing towards maximum output. Where that power was going however was a mystery. At the door Protectron and Harrier could hear heavy metallic footfalls from within and drawing closer. When they seemed to reach nearly to the door Ironclad found herself suddenly locked out of the system with a haunting afterimage of, 'You Have Seen Enough!' burned into her mind as sparks leaped from the interface and crackling energy lanced over her suit seeking ground.
  15. Not quite enough to crack the Plants security system. Rav take an HP and give me a DC 18 Toughness check VS. Electricity
  16. Certainly. Theres assorted lines in the vicinity that haven't been cut yet with Harriers furious assault cutting short their preparations.
  17. Ace examined the angry god with a perplexed look for a long moment. "Now I'm no expert, but last I heard gods were not supposed to be able to manifest on this plane." he mused glancing around to the others. As Edge stepped forward to confront the raging Asgardian he slid from the car to follow, though at a safe distance, whatever meaning that had with a being that could summon thunder and lightning. Donar or Thor or whoever it was seemed at least to recognize that his chosen quarry was not in evidence at the least. "The ones who imprisoned you are long dead." he spoke crisply and clearly above the din, "Those who still follow their fool ideology cower in shadow and deceit. Why would you give them the privilege of death in battle? Why not let them perish as they have lived cowards and fools?" Something about this didn't smell right to Ace perhaps some answers may be forthcoming. If nothing else it may keep the god busy long enough for Midnight, Bombshell and Wander to get into a more advantageous position.
  18. Direct involvement meaning Gods taking personal action on the mortal plane is forbidden. They are supposed to instead empower champions to forward their interests, or otherwise meddle dependent on the gods preference. If a mortal is infused with divine blood or whatever the source of thier power is still that divinity. The point is really mechanicaly if he gets shut down by a genesplicer villain who can turn off mutant genetics or a Mage with a spell to ward off godly powers. Of course it could be both as well in which case either could shut him down.
  19. There are two reactors housed in the Main Reactor Building. Each has separate cooling apparatus that are basically identical. Pretty standard design with cooling towers the water circulates through and cooling ponds for the spent fuel rods. Water is recycled through the cooling towers and the reactors by pumps with back up generators though usually the plat supplies its own power of course. Any damage to the cooling system could if left unrepaired of course lead to eminent melt down. That would be bad. Though if there plan was to just cause a meltdown they have had ample opportunity to do so With the time they have already been in control of the facility and with the kind of firepower they have exhibited they likely could have fairly irreparably damaged the cooling systems by now.
  20. Whatever intelligence was guiding these bots it seemed had decided to cut it's losses and did not bring about more Bots to close the hole in the defenses though movement on the fingers of the path cleared by 'Caradoc' suggested that there were still forces enough to repel the PD from making a push to retake the facility. Back at the base camp the command staff seemed appreciative of the heroes intervention. "Details are still a bit hazy." the FCPD captain spoke up first, "We have some witness accounts but they don't make much sense." he admitted scratching his head. "They say that like some kinda blimp landed near the cooling pools and a bunch of like weird robots marched out." he explained glancing uncertainly to the Higher ranked Aegis and AEC officers present. "Nothing from any of our radar stations either in lonely point or any of te local airstrips showed anything in the area." he insisted, "Blimps do not hide from radar." he added for emphasis. The Police officer broke in again, "I was just filling her in on our reports." he snapped it seemed tensions were running high in the command center. "Our first alert was an alarm raised about twenty minutes ago. We called in for confirmation and got back an all clear code. About ten minutes later we started getting cell phone calls from the plant workers." he explained despite the glowers from the AEGIS agent. "Seems the robots insisted they leave the plant or face offensive action. Only injuries we have confirmed seem to be from the rush to get out and one or two security guards who tried to fight." The AEC representative stepped in, "There are a number of dangers beyond this power loss with an unknown agent taking control of a facility of this nature." he said urgently, "My fellows here have sent in some of their forces but they have been continually rebuffed by the mechanized enemies." he said quickly. "If you and your cohorts can get inside we need to regain control of the facility, thus far there has been no leaks or signs of radioactivity but who knows what they might be up to in there." The AEGIS rep spoke up in agreement finally, "We could use your help." He looked out over the plant where 'Caradoc' had cleared a path. "There have been no demands thus far so we can only assume what they want is in the reactor building itself." he added ominously.
  21. GM It was a short trip to the Super museum only a few blocks away as it was and a good thing too given that Ace's Jetpack seemed to have some mechanical issues shortly after arrival. He discarded the pack and looked to the steps cautiously. There were no signs of trouble the visitors going about their business with almost eerie regularity. For a moment it seemed as if they may have been led astray no signs of trouble of any sort, no panic, nothing to suggest anything but a regular day at one of Freedoms favorite tourist destinations. Already the presence of the Heroes was gathering a small crowd of tourists snapping shots of real life supers to take home and bore their relatives with. The seeming peace was however shattered by sudden blaring alarms from within the museum itself. As the heroes looked on they could see the slowly descending barricades lowering over the windows and doors to ensure whatever malefactors were within could not escape.
  22. For clarity the Bots are operating in groups of 5-6. Each taking cover behind makeshift barricades and outbuildings guarding the approaches to the main Reactor building. Harrier has already exhibited that he can drop one group a round basically with take down to clear a path so I'm willing to storyline that part. Or alternatively you can all rush up the middle and risk getting pot shots taken at you but get to the building quicker. Pretty much up to harrier as to what he wants to do to kick things off. Feel free to post a few rounds of bot smashing your way to the main reactor if you go with that AA.
  23. Given the holiday weekend (and some people likeing to socialize like face to face and stuff) I'll give a pass for hte weekend. I'll move us along Tuesday evening if we're still waiting on blueshift.
  24. Phalanx snapped into action as he caught sight of the flames. "We have to get those people out before we fight the blaze." he said urgently as he headed into motion training from his civilian life leaping to the fore. "Contain the fire, wetting down the surrounding buildings should keep it from spreading." he suggested urgently, "Continual flow if possible." he wasn't exactly sure what all of them were capable off and likely could have extinguished the blaze himself in short order with a puff from his mighty lungs but such could be quite harmful for those trapped inside the burning building. Rescue, Containment, Suppression, There was an order to these things and he'd had it well drilled into him in the academy. "I'll head in and start rescue operations, can you set up some sort of triage area?" he asked the others but was gone in a flash of blue and gold without waiting for an answer beginning a systematic search of the building at staggering speeds.
  25. I'll set the paragon array to speed 11 quickness 11 and move in to begin Search and extraction for those inside. Lemme know if you need any checks if possible I'll use the speed/quickness to take 20 for a 24 on Profession fireman (hahhah who says flavor skills never come up!)
