  1. Fort Save (1d20+8=27) As I imagine thats needed.
  2. Ouroboros observed dome for a few moments examining the flow of magic through the dome with a deepening frown. He turned to the officer and spoke quietly but urgently, "You have to draw the perimeter further back." he looked to the dome once more, "Its feeding on all of these people and we don't want it to finish." he intoned dramatically. As Beacon flew up and within he dome his frown deepened, this was not power to be tested recklessly by the uninitiated. "We'll see to those inside." he said and strode towards the dome activating his forcefield as he approached and stepped through.
  3. Free action: HP to remove fatigue Free action: Paragon array to 10 SS (11 total) Move action: Fly to giant robo Standard action: All out attack to initiate a grapple; All out attack to initiate grapple VS. Giant Robot Followed by Grapple check. (1d20+15=35, 1d20+42=43) Crit which I think actually adds 5 to the grapple check from what I last recall being discussed. and a 1 which I will reroll the heck out of with an HP HP Reroll Grapple check (1d20+47=60)
  4. For Alderwitch Phantom Thistle and Thyme When Saying You're Sorry Isn't Enough Training Wheels Psyche A New Year Bombshell Temple of the Sun Concert Auditions
  5. The Havok Bots popped up from their cover as midnight engaged his device cutting both the GBN town and their communication. Leveling their blasters at the shadowy hero they released a barrage of searing laser fire. At the last moment Phalanx dropped in front of Midnight the mass of energy not able to pierce his impenetrable skin. With a quick nod, "Keep that up I'll cover you." he said as he stood warily guarding the hero who had so efficiently circumvented HAVOKs plans.
  6. Yes Havok bots are up. They will do a big aid/combined attack thing on Midnight, Phalanx will interpose they can't overwhelm his impervious. The signal is blocked so its effectively safe to just yank out the Electromagnetic Screwdriver now. With a few moments you could of course rewire the device to give the commands you want. Doc is up
  7. Free Action Set Array to: Alternate Power: Concealment 10 (Feats: Close Range, Selective) (Invisibility, Magic) [22] and Super Senses 6 (Detect Magic: Ranged(Mental) 2, Acute 1, Analytical 1, Radius 1, Tracking 1) [6] [28PP] I'll try to analyze what sort of sorcery is this.
  8. Ouroboros awoke shooting a glare at the morning sun. He'd left the television blaring as he fell asleep the night before and was awoken by the morning news report. He leaned forward and examined the screen for a moment and drawing his deep hood up to cover his face he spoke words of mystic power and with a gesture a golden portal opened transporting him across the city in the blink of an eye. He glanced up at the shinning hero hovering above and turned his attention to the dome incanting a spell to analyze the barriers mystic signature.
  9. Phalanx took the crushing blow with a grunt of pain staggering back a step blinking for a moment to clear his vision. He moved in tandem as geckoman distracted the false Centurion coming up from his blind side. Throwing his whole body into his swing he fired off a devastating punch to the imposter's midsection, "You're a pale imitation of the true Centurion an weak deluded fool." he bellowed as his blow connected.
  10. Power attack 5 vs. Alpha Centurion (1d20+5=9) Sigh HP Reroll: Power Attack 5 vs. Alpha Centurion HP Reroll (1d20+5=12) +10 is 22 DC 36 Toughness.
  11. Hmm musta been AA then. Anyway I think thats the problem. as soon as you're "Justifying" the trade off with something out of the original concept you're gonna get yourself in trouble with coherency of concept. What conceptual reason to have the trade off in the first place?
  12. Phalanx At The Mountains Cry HAVOK! No Mutation With Out Representation Ace Danger Ouroboros The Door That Can't Be Unlocked GM Threads
  13. I'm up for bringing Ouroboros in for the inside if there is still room.
  14. Another thing to note about Perception range attacks. They are NOT just auto hits. They are powers that you can target people with with the only restriction being being able to accurately perceive them. ESP, True Live TV, CC cameras, all of these are vectors that allow you to use the power regardless of your relative positions. Having a ranged and perception attack that are descriptor-wise identical just doesn't make sense. IE why can you target (and get trade off benefits) with the same power that you can summon through a scrying pool from across the continent (or world or universe with enough ESP)? Frankly I see this as a case of a backwards build. You're trying to justify mechanics with your fluff you should be tryign to shape your mechanics tot he fluff for her abilities.
  15. OK Ultimate toughness gets me a save of 38 so stunned and bruised. Hp to clear the stun That uses up the 2 HP I got from him pulling off the punch.
  16. 1d20+8=14, 1d20+9=14 Reroll toughness: 1d20+9=22 Bruised Uhm I got totally lost there sorry. I'll try and trick on of the bruisers into attacking the other one. (Trick, Redirect) Bluff hits a DC 33 I'll edit the IC shortly.
  17. As the last of the great beasts collapsed under Wanders assault Phalanx turned towards the hospital his eyes rapidly scanning the building for the source and hopefully cause oft explosions as he rocketed towards the hospital in a streak of blue and gold to try and head off whatever saboteurs he could find. Hopeful the building was still sound as he blew through the doors on his way to the explosions.
  18. Ace ducked and rolled as walls and computers shattered and sparked under the onslaught of the grue. He caught some shapnel from an exploding view screen though luckily his vest too the brunt of the damage. He came to his feet between the rampaging brutes with a cocky grin, "Well ugly," he snarked at his best, "While I appreciate the applause, you really could do better than that don't you think?" He gave a small shake of his head leaving an intentional opening for the grue to attempt to exploit, "Come on and see if you can manage something useful you pathetic slug."
  19. Move action: Move between the brute on Powers and the one gossamer is fighting. Standard action: trick the grue into attacking me and when he (hopefully) misses hitting the other grue. Skill mastery for a 33 bluff.
  20. Ok so the behemoths are all down and the hordes are basically scattered right? Free action: Set Paragon array to flight 4 (5 total) quickness/speed 6 Free action: Take twenty on a notice check for whats going on in the hospital. He can see through the walls and doesn't take range penalties until 1000' he's like 480' away I think. he hits DC 25 Move/standard: fly as close as he can get to the problem I figure that'll take a double move at least. I'll edit in a transmission to YF once I know what I see
  21. 1d20+9=11 Success! You knock out the transmitter.
  22. if you were still playing knieval he would have probably been KO'd in the first round ;)
  23. Phalanx stood agape for a moment as the Centurion's rant revealed him to be false. It had been to much to hope that he had truly returned he knew, being robbed of that hope only served to steel his resolve however. As Geckoman pulled the attention of the earths mightiest fraud Phalanx dropped down behind the Cyber-Centurion swinging his fists overhead in a crushing arc to bring them down across the villainous doppelgangers back with force that could pulverize impervium.
  24. Power attack +5 DC 36 (1d20+5=24)
  25. Phalanx all out attacked so he was at a defense of +3 so I wanted to clarify if he was in the smoke
