Mike sighed contentedly and ran one hand along her side nervously, "Well we've been busy lately, haven't gotten much time to ourselves." he explained slowly. He made a few what he hoped were subtle adjustments to his posture and placed a quick kiss on the top of her head. "I was thinking we should take some time for us." he said with a shrug not wanting to rush into things. "So you hungry?" he inquired calmly with a quick nod to the basket, "Or can I get you a drink?"

Mike beamed down at her with a wide self satisfied smile. Scooping her up once more into his arms he pressed his lips to hers. 'I'm glad you like it.' He replied mentally and slowly lowered her and himself to the blanket breaking the kiss some what breathlessly as they came to rest on the soft ground, "I think its more beautiful than you described even." he said with a small smile, "I packed a light lunch and a few other things." he said with a gesture to the basket and leaned back against the tree pulling her to lean against him as they looked out over the peaceful pastoral landscape, "We can go explore some if you like the owner leases it for vacationers." He left unsaid that he had booked it for today to ensure their privacy.

Summers regarded Eddie impassively, "Mr. Ozan I am not going to enforce anything upon you. You have free will to make your own choices." he said simply, "However choices have consequences. Something which I dare say you have thus far in your short life largely avoided." he explained levelly. The Headmaster watched Eddie as he spoke those almost too alert eyes boring into the young man. "You can leave now. Have your concerts, spend your summer as you like. You will not return to my campus, however, should you decide such." He stated plainly and paused for a moment before adding in a fractionally gentler tone, "I think you have potential young man, but you must look beyond yourself to become something more."

I'm sure a thread can be worked out for such a purpose with myself or another ref. Beyond that Summers will be scrutinizing what else Eddie is doing over the summer so as opportunities arise for or in other threads you'll have opportunities as well. I'll toss another post up int he ref cave to see if anyone has any specific ideas for a thread like that for you.

'Getting warmer.' Mike hinted as the blue waters of the Mediterranean slid by beneath them to shortly be replaced by the golden and dun tones of the north Italian countryside. 'And here we are.' he thought to her as he brought them to a halt in the early afternoon shade of an ancient oak overlooking a small field and piquant little farmhouse. He lowered the petite red head to the ground where a blanket and basket was already laid out. "So is it like you hoped?" he asked with just a trace of nervousness in his tone.

Mike grinned at her, "You look lovely." he said simply as he turned with her in his arms and drifted to the window. Just before he slipped out with her in his arms he hinted, "It's a just a short trip." he winked to her and tucked her head against his chest as he took to the air Freedom City vanishing bellow them as he sped out over the ocean to the east. 'I packed you a change just in case.' he thought to her as the glimmering waters of the Atlantic flashed by beneath them. 'We should be there in a just a few minutes.' he further hinted as the far shore of the sea came into view.

Mike returned the kiss and wrapped his arms around her. "Yes a day off. You deserve one and sure as heck aren't going to take one on your own." he teased in response. Holding her close still he whispered to her, "I made a few plans I think you'll like." The big youth gave her another squeeze and asked simply, "So ready to go?" that mischievous light still glinting in the corner of his eye.

Ace saw the beast take down the director and his first instinct was to go to him and get the hulking brute off the comparatively fragile man. But he knew there were greater duties he had. He turned and tapped the base intercom system trying to broadcast to the rest of the base as well hoping the infiltrators hadn't done too much damage already. "This is Captain Ace Danger, the Iceberg is under attack by agents of the Grue Unity. Initiate immediate full lock down procedures." he commanded issuing an out of date code that hopefully would still be verifiable. "You are members of the most elite force on the planet, these chumps don't have a clue what they have gotten themselves into so let show them why their pitiful invasions have failed time after time. And remember you're not trapped in here with them. They're trapped in here with you." Ace turned with a cocky grin to the remaining grue in the room, "I'd almost feel sorry for you all if you weren't so damn ugly."

Alright Ace is going to go with the inspire. If I can I'll try and use the intercom system to broadcast it around the base (to give it to Doc as well as as a warning to the rest of the base.)

Alright after discussion with the rest of the refs we're ready to proceed here. Sorry about the delay. As an OOC heads up so there isn't confusion, Eddie will not be being expelled immediately. Come mid September when school starts back up his case such as it were will be reviewed. Honestly the most likely outcome is expulsion at that point. But if Eddie goes out of his way to prove himself he'll be given a second chance. Summers is keeping him enrolled for the time being as an act of faith and a way of keeping an eye on his activities. This is an opportunity for Eddie to prove that he has learned his actions have consequences and that he's willing to face them. He has the opportunity of course to refuse the offer. He'll be expelled and monitored less closely to ensure that he's not a burgeoning super-villain (Yes we know he's not OOC) but basically be cut off from Claremont and its protections/resources.

Mike stood dressed in a simple yet somewhat elegant outfit of fitted khaki slacks and sport coat over a tight blue cotton T shirt absently toying with the glasses he wore as 'disguise' when not being Phalanx. He smiled wide as she came in and answered out loud, "Not a thing." he replied and in a few longs strides crossed the floor to her. He smiled down to her with a glint in his eye making it all the more clear he had something more than a surprise visit planned, "I had them clear your schedule, we're gonna have a day off." he said quite pleased with himself.

It had already been a busy summer, Alien invasion, Marks dads disappearance, the near catastrophic visit to the centurions sanctum, not to even mention the fall out from junior prom. It had been well over a month since Mike had admitted his intentions to Erin and gotten her advice for his intended proposal. Luckily with Aeon and her public coming out Alex had been even more distracted and as far as he knew remained unaware. After everything that had happened however he felt that he needed to do something more. A big fancy dinner and showy public proposal seemed too much still but he somehow knew something more was appropriate than Erins suggested fancy dinner in and private time. But Mike was not constrained so much as most boys his age. So his plan while elegantly simple had evolved to something beyond the norm as well. So he waited in Alexs office in the AEON building having arrived several minutes before Alex to surprise her. It had taken some convincing to get her secretary to reschedule her appointments that day and he hoped she had been able to keep it secret but in the end knew the surprise was less important than the event itself. When Alex arrived her secretary beamed a mischievous smile, "You have a young man waiting for you ma'am." she said and indicated he was already in her office.

At Geckomans cue Phalanx charged forward his fists a rapidfire blur as he pounded upon the heavily armored robot. His attack however seemed to lack Wanders precision and perhaps he held back too much with the centurions likeness starring him down as he attacked. In the end he battered and staggered the robotic Centurion but it remained intact if unlikely to be attacking anyone itself immediately.

The suit had been damaged by the precision blow but it was of surprisingly sturdy construction and HAVOK remained quite active. The HAVOKbots moved as one to crouch behind cover and one by one shimmered out of sight as they activated their cloaking fields the last thing the doctor saw was them readying their blasters and scanning the skys for any sign of the doctor or his cohorts who would be arriving any moment if they listened to the doctors request. HAVOK himself spun rapidly trying to gain a bearing on where the Doctor was hiding himself and activated a second switch on the device which immediately started to humm as it drew more power. The doctor however had little time to concern himself with such things as panels along HAVOKs shoulders, thighs and chest popped open to reveal hidden micro missiles. "SHOW YOURSELF COWARD!" he called out and in a flash of light the rockets ignited and spun off in all directions only to spin and explode all around HAVOK leaving himself and the device unharmed by the detonations the good doktor however was directly in the path of one of the explosive rockets.

Alright the Havok Bots will activate their own cloaking devices (HP for Phalanx, Midnight and Gossamer, Doc already got the HP for Havok having that invention on hand) then they will ready an action to attack the first hero to show themselves. (One will attack one will aid, 3 will combined attack) Havoks action: Free: Maintain flight Move: Activate The Device! Free: Switch Array to Micro munitions Standard: Fire a spread of the micro munitions over the squares around him within ~10 feet. Doc will be caught in those squares of course. DC 22 Reflex followed by DC 27 (21 on successful ref save) toughness.

So you were under counting on your APs it looks like you had 60pp spent on powers so it looks like you're 4pp over right now. I formatted the powers to match our formatting and make it a little easier to read. You can drop your base attack to +2 within our rules and get more ranged attack bonus (or even attack specialization/accurate on your powers.) losing 4 ranks of base attack and replacing them with ranged attack focus will net you the 4 points. We need descriptors for his powers but since they are all the White Light right now I think you can just add a note next to the powers heading that they are all Magic, and Light descriptors.

Ace's brow creased slightly with worry, "Only the ones not bound in service." he said with concern, "Unfortunately that makes our work here more not less urgent." Ace held out one arm already assuming that there was some kind of alarm beam crossing the path given Jacks acrobatics. "Is there a switch to deactivate the beams?" Ace inquired as quietly as he could. Jack could see an unremarkable pair of switches on the wall next to each other. One could assume one would disable the beams while the other would likely sound the alarm.
