And that is why this was posted. We have alot of other peoples opinions but no idea what you are supposed to be. I think Geezer laid out an excellent Role for the Interceptors in that post. But I will note that's not what Giz or Quote said. So Is this what you all want the interceptors to be? If so I will say that a little humbleness could go a long way to soothing frayed relations. As for lack of threads. thats a problem we all have to deal with in one way or another. I will also say as quote said your team is basically a fast response team of BFGs (And Grimalkin ...) so apart from mass combats like the invasions their potential is a little limited.

Ace looked on in shock and horror as the transformation wracked Heyzels angelic form. Thinking fast he called out to the Bee Keeper, "NOOO, Just change him back and I'll go willingly." In his best impression of Fluers voice which despite being far more damsel in distress than the real Fluer ever was pretty good. He deactivated his forcefield to further prove his point and seductively applied a fresh layer of lipstick. Turning to the nearby bee he pleaded, "I know we can stop this if you just take me to him." he laid it on thick, "Please?"

JJ pulled back at his mothers touch for a moment uncertain that there wouldn't be some kind of reaction but with out one patiently allowed her to paw him over with a somewhat petulant sigh, "Your suppositions are correct." he said quietly with a glance to Stesha, "Not exactly duplication." he explained with a small shrug then turned a smirk Jacks direction, "And no DeLorian." he added with a bemused expression. He took a deep breath, "There was an event, I can't and won't discuss the details as when temporal matters are involved caution is best." he explained calmly, "I was able to evade the event by traveling to the void however something was out of sync and I couldn't return." he continued trying to be as general as possible without revealing too much of what had happened, "I was able to track an energy and found a way out. I don't know who or what left the trail but when I was able to work my way free I was here..." he made a small non-committal wave of his hand, "Or downtown at the library to be specific." he finished and glanced around to the others to see that he was understood. He put on a calm a facade as he could muster hiding behind the intellectual explanation to not think too much on what might have happened to those he knew in his time. "So stuck in a fashion." he said with a shrug.

Ace watched the conflict flare and seemingly resolve with the long suffering detachment his admittedly jaded perspective demanded. He gave Jack a small wave as the swordsman crept in and shrugged to Natalya, "Well I was told it was a meeting and try out for a charity concert," HE said flatly as he glanced around, "Apparently the meaning of that has changed somewhat." HE flashed her a grin, "I do apologize I usually keep better abreast of such things."

It would be your choice what to cut. Duplication is just summon with a descriptor. Normally you would make perfect duplicates but you could pick one area that degrades on the duplicates if you liked

Phalanx creased his brow at the theories Mark spouted and slowly shook his head, "They were useing tiny mirrors to reflect the light." He reminded them, "I think that rules out Gods or Solaar?" he said the last questioningly uncertain of exactly who that was. "Could be grue I guess but wasn't there a launch of some sort? Why would the grue need to launch something from earth?" he shrugged and looked to the others "Maybe the data the colonel sent to Psyche can help."

That is legal. You generally will not buy duplication up to your full PL rank. Your Dupes are limited (Like all summons) to your PL caps you just have a limited budget with which to reach those caps.

Mike nodded as he stood. A ten page paper was actually a bit milder than he had expected as for punishment and while he had briefly entertained the idea of managing to escape any kind of punishment he was well aware that wasn't how Mr. Summers did things. "You've helped me and given me alot to think about Sir." he replied, "For that I thank you." He turned to go and added, "I'll have the paper turned in by the end of the week." the tall youth didn't seem the least bit bothered by the assignment. As he stepped out of the door he reached out to Alex mentally, 'Mr. Summers wants to talk to you about Prom.'

Mikes eyes grew wide at Marks revelation, "The actual Sanctum?" he asked flabbergasted. He glanced around for a brief moment but was already nodding, "Yea of course Mark, I mean who wouldn't?" he replied eagerly it seemed quite the opportunity. He smiled as he looked to the others for agreement or dissent before a small wash of concern washed over is face, "Are you uh sure you're allowed to bring us?"

Mike mouthed a silent thanks to Erin and oddly turned the other direction to dash through one of the other offices and out the window. In seconds he strode through the front doors of the building and up to the bank of elevators watching as the one with Zoe rode in descended. As the doors slid open he said nothing only stepped in and crouched down next to her wrapping her in his arms, 'Oh Zoe, you are not alone and you're not going to vanish or be replaced. You belong here.' He thought to her comfortingly, 'That isn't going to change with anything you do.' He continued to hold her as long as she allowed and offered, 'So there's this great diner not far from my parents house, Hows a hand mixed shake sound?' Zoe likely knew the diner well as it remained one of Mikes favorite eateries as she grew up.

Mike smiled at that, "I - I think I understand Sir." he said slowly thinking about what Summers had said. He wanted to say he wouldn't let him down but he knew that in the end it wasn't Summers he was doing this for. He had to to this for himself and really for everyone. He knew his potential for destruction, it might not be the same kind of fear powers like Marks or Alex elicited, but it went beyond just powers. He nodded to summers once more, "I can do that sir." he said simply sitting a little more straight in his chair, "There's more to this than just the costume, I understand that now." he paused for a moment and added, "Thank you."

Mike's brow creased as the Old Man pulled the photographs from his desk and explained their significance. It was in many ways alot for the young hero to take in. "I never knew..." he murmured. He had of course heard about the events but they had always glazed over what had actually happened, they were stories of the heroes triumph despite the mind control efforts. He looked up to Summers uncertainly, "But I wasn't mind controlled." he said guardedly, "I..." he closed his mouth he wasn't going to make excuses or ask forgiveness. It was like Mark had said and what even he had told Eddie afterward, actions not words. Mike took a deep breath and looked the stern headmaster dead on, "I think I understand, but what if I can't?" He asked plaintively, "I'm no Centurion."

Ace grinned at Elena and Talya, "Indeed, nothing like a genuine, if dimensionally displaced, cowboy for managing the grill." he said with a smile and offered the plate to the ladies. He watched with quiet amusement as the birthday girl ran off with her new treasure and looked back to Scarab with a wide grin. "I think historical artifacts have more meaning to those who didn't live through it." he explained with a shrug, "I daresay you have out done the rest of our gifts." he teased with a laugh. At Talyas request he patted down his pockets and dug out a small packet passing it over to the lovely 'Ex'-Thief.

Mike watched and listened to what Eddie had to say as well as the response from the others his face somewhat downcast. After Eve 'Said' her piece he looked to Alex and they exchanged a quick set of glances that usually indicated their own silent communication before he turned back to Eddie. He spoke clearly and without malice, "We all make mistakes Eddie, its what you do with them that tells the kind of person you are." he said simply, "Mark is right, there is nothing you can say that is going to change a thing. All I want to see is repentance, not blame, not anger, just that." he explained solemnly, "Show us don't tell us." he said simply and turned to the door, "I'm sorry I have to go after Zoe, If you need anything..." he let the offer hand as he stepped out the door and rapidly scanned the building sight piercing walls like they weren't even there in his rapid search for Zoe. He reached out mentally to her as well, 'Zoe? We still have things to talk about.'

Ace laughed lightly to Heyzel, "When it comes to teen romance vileness is all but assured." he said with a wink. He rolled his eyes at Talya, "Well yes but thats not too likely here and I did get better." he replied with a grin before turning his attention to the burgeoning drama in the center of the room gauging if Dr. De Haviland had it handled or needed a more diplomatic solution.

"Aw come on Talya it'll be fun." Ace wheedled, "Like that music hall in Munich in 45." He suggested with a wide grin. "We can just put in a an appearance wow them and be gone." he promised in a silken tone. As he saw he reluctance wane he grinned wide and pulled a rather old looking cellular device from one pocket. He shot her a wink, "Just gonna retask the Aegis rapid response net real quick." he said and suddenly a glowing portal sliced through the air and he drug Talya through into the small clear space remaining in the room. "Not too late I hope." he said with a wide smile as he surveyed the room full of musicians.

Jack had already dismissed his force field upon his arrival so while the poker was a real threat, particularly given his fathers strength, it held no particular fear for him due to its holy nature. He impassively pulled off the leather gloves of the 'Avenger' costume and deposited them next to the mask on the coffee table nearby. Reaching down he ran one finger along the tip of the poker and held up his finger slightly smudged with soot from the fire but otherwise unharmed, "All of your strengths none of your weaknesses remember?" he said smoothly. He glanced around the room, "I had hoped to avoid this until I had proper answers however you are all just as tenacious as ever." he replied, "I'll give you what answers I can without risking more dire repercussions but some things I can not answer." he said simply. He knew just being here he was walking the razors edge telling them too much could be disastrous. That said he held his hands loosely open at his sides, "So ask."

Mike smiled and waved at Trevor always happy to have some one around he didn't completely dwarf and though he was less a fan of the all black thing lately he still liked the dark clad teens laid back demeanor. As Mark ushered them all in and explained the absence of parental figures he frowned briefly but given the crowd he didn't think it was going to be one of those kinds of parties. He smiled at the spread as to the perpetually health crazed Harris house processed food was like ambrosia, "Looks great Mark." he said and leaned over to snag a chip laden with guacamole. As people served up and ate he offered to grab a plate for Alex and afterward sat down to dig in, "It's good to get together like this again." he said between mouthfuls seemingly oblivious or perhaps just willfully ignoring the assorted tensions in the group, "So whats the proposition?"

Mike nodded with a small sigh and sunk into one of the chairs opposite the headmasters desk. "I'm going to assume you mean the near catastrophic events after the King and Queen announcement. Before that everything was fine." he said plainly, "Someone used the projector to show off a rather lewd recording of Zoe and James." he said his voice tight, "I know enough to suspect who was responsible but that doesn't really matter." he added without bitterness the absurd war James and Joe had felt they were in with Daisy didn't need to continue and if rising above was losing then so be it. "Several of us were very upset by the revelations of that tape and a couple of us, myself included, did not react reasonably." he finished simply not wanting to go into the details of his own misdeeds, "It was not the right reaction and I know that. I ..." he trialed off and shrugged, he wasn't going to beg for forgiveness as Summers hadn't been the one wronged by his outburst.

With Improvised tools and Quick Change 2 Ace assumes a disguise of fluer as a free action. He'll set his gadgets to Forcefield 7 (Impervious 3) (13 toughness Impervious 3 total)
