Ace frowned at that though it really wasn't too much of a surprise, "Right so strategy is out." He said with mild exasperation. "Heyzel back up Darkstar, if he's managed this he's gotten some new toys." he ordered before looking to Archeville and Fluer. "We'll need to find a way to disrupt the swarms, Maybe some kind of electromagnetic signal that will drive them off? Sonic?" He inquired of the doctor then turned to Fluer, "Or maybe some kind of bug eating flowers?" his expertise was strained as it was. "Fluer you should try and stay out of sight or he'll try and grab you and run." he added with a shrug not certain how well that would work even if she was willing and with Darkstar facing down the villain she probably wasn't, "I'll see if I can keep him distracted while you try and come up with something." He said finally and leaned into his car to pull out a few things that might prove useful. Moments later he had managed a decent disguise of Fluer that should hold up to casual observation. He shot the real Fluer a quick wink, "Care to give me a lift?" he asked holding one hand out.

Ace gave edge a quick thumbs up, "Good work Kid." he said as he hopped out of the car and began his approach to the door. He glanced over his shoulder to Jack of all Blades with a nod, "We'll do best to get the real leaders if we don't trip the alarms on the way in. Otherwise we'll just be dealing with low level agents delaying us till the bosses escape." Ace well knew shadows methods and exactly how loyal they were to their underlings. When he reached the door he snapped a quick picture of the scene out front and tapped it into the security camera before waving the others over to join him. He looked to the door and after a moment of tapping around found the panel to open it and attached what looked like some kind of electronic octopus with a small screen and pad dangling myriad wires. Shortly there after a panel next to the door slid aside revealing an ill lit stairwell descending through some kind of reinforced concrete. Ace shrugged, "Well So far so good eh?"

Mike dropped out of the sky with Alex in his arms in a nearby park luckily empty at the time. He straightened his hair and took her hand as he headed down the block toward the Lucas home with an easy gate and a happy smile. It wasn't often they all managed to get together these days and the last event had been rather contentious. Rounding the corner into Marks yard he raised a hand in an easy wave, "Heya Mark, thanks for the invitation." he said as they drew closer. He looked over the more refined than usual outfit curiously, "Didn't know it was a dress up deal, Should I change?" he asked looking down at the basic jeans and t-shirt look that was more and more becoming his civilian 'costume' complete with a pair of thick rimmed glasses to further disguise him as not Phalanx.

Well if you want it to be subtle you do but you KO'd the only people who would care so thats up to you.

Mike couldn't say he was surprised by the call or e-mail. In all honesty he had expected it to come sooner. When it did come he of course was no more happy about it than if it had been a surprise. He quickly got dressed and slipped out of the room as quietly as he could not wanting to wake Mark, the events at Prom had seemed to wear him out he didn't even manage to make it back to the room that night. He crossed the campus at a normal if slightly hurried rate and took the elevator up to the Headmasters office with a grim countenance. He offered a weak smile to Mr. Summers secretary as he inquired, "Is Mr. Summers available?" She nodded kindly , "He's been expecting you." and opened the door to let the tall youth in. Mike Stepped through the door into the room and waited for the door to click shut before he spoke, "You wanted to see me Mr. Summers?"

Ace took the offered plate with a nod of thanks, "Smells delicious complements to the chef." He said with a wink and watched Eli and Moira wander off wondering which of them were in for a bigger surprise when that reached its inevitable conclusion. He moved on to drift through the party greeting the others he knew as he moved about the small yard. He managed to maneuver himself in next to Talya and Elena as the Birthday girl rushed off with her gift, "Ladies." He said with a small bow, "Looking ravishing as always." he added with a grin.

Having successfully made his egress from his young companions penthouse without waking the handsome young man Ace made his way to his car in the garage below. Just as he pulled onto the street the radio blared to life with the bee keepers message and the ageless hero looked to the skyline to see the swarms gathering already, "Bees? Seriously?" he asked no one in particular then shrugged, "At least i have a good excuse for skipping breakfast." he murmured as he flipped down the radio panel to contact the rest of the league. "So it seems our own most beautiful flower has a fan with waaaaaay too much time on his hands." his voice sounded across the scrambled channel, "Lets meet up on the corner of First and Washington, there's a nice elm there Fluer." he suggested as the rest of the team had far easier access to fast transit than himself. With that he pulled away from the curb and headed to the rendezvous a couple blocks away.

Mike gave Alex's shoulders a light squeeze of comfort and support, 'You did what was best, no need to second guess yourself now.' he thought to his girlfriend in support. He then turned is attention to Eddie, "We're not making anyone come or stay they've been told you would like them to be here if they are willing they will be here." he intoned solemly, "I'm willing to give you a chance and hear what you have to say but stop with the whining at those who are not, you might be able to earn their trust again but it won't be with a simple speech." He spared a glance for Zoe his face clearly telegraphing that he was speaking to her over their shared mental connection, 'It's your choice. But I'm here for you if you want to stay.' he offered wordlessly.

Ok since this isn't really a combat encounter it probably doesn't matter much but if you want to interrupt an action with one of your own you need to ready an action to do so. The Action and circumstances need to be pretty specific. As in "If someone takes hostile action against grim I will shoot them." Or "If anyone gets within 5 feet of Grim I will fire a warning shot." If you're just sitting there waiting to deal with events as they come you don't need to ready and action you will just act on your initiative if it comes to initiative. So if you're readying an action write out the trigger and the action and we can move on. If not we can move on.

Ok so if anyone initiates an apparently hostile action you will shoot them or fire a warning shot quote?

I'm good with 24 hour turns. Didn't Phalanx take out all but one of the bots in the group he attacked? Or did more pop out there too?

Looks good. I don't think this'll be an issue here but keep in mind that NPCs are not to be free sidekicks. Fleshing out background characters is always fine but just keep in that in mind. :approved:

Just a quick note. As that Scope is clearly not a simple optical scope Avenger doesn't show up on it due to his Concealment VS. all mechanical devices. Also VP 2 is any broad descriptor such as Magic, mental, or Technological effect. I'm gonna assume that you have a technological as the type given how its been used in the past (Lasers, etc) Holy isn't a technological descriptor. Just so that doesn't lead to confusion later. Though bullets of odd material (Like wood?) I suppose is a possibility.

Mike sighed heavily at her reply. He couldn't say it was much different than he had expected but none the less the heap of self loathing stung. He sat and listened however not interrupting any of her absurd assertions as to what he could or could not do nor her even more outlandish assumptions of blame for all the ills of the group. The big youth perked at Alex's mental call and looked back to Zoe to see if she was joining them but she had already vanished. Not that that was surprising. Without really pushing he couldn't match her speed but managed to get to the office in time to hear the tirade still. 'I'm here.' he thought simply to Alex as he rested on long arm across her shoulders, 'She's not ready to listen yet but she will soon enough.' That taken care of he turned to Eddie face open and curious what the boy had to say. He understood losing control it can happen now it was time to see how Eddie handled it.

Ace took the young mans hand with an easy smile and gave it a firm shake, "Pleasures mine, you do some good work." he replied with a nod. He gave Colt a quick lazy salute, "Too long my friend, but at least we shall assume the festivities shall go better this time around." he answered with a laugh. The ageless hero Smiled wide and waved in response to Grims greeting as she rushed to greet Elena, "Well I'll be, Talya actually got her to come out of the tomb." he murmured with a small shake of his head.

Date with the most eligible bachelorette at ASTRO Labs secured the devices were delivered in no time. Rudy even put in a personal appearance to stare dreamily at Gossamer and stammer out the basic operating instructions for the pair of personal flight packs he had brought with him. That done he paused in the corner watching the heroes until security suggested he get back to his own projects and ushered him out. Phalanx looked down at the device the Doctor had used to detect the invisible trails then out of the hole in the wall to see if he could make out anything of use but saw nothing. "False trails? How will we know which one to follow?" he inquired curiously of the doctor though it was clear from his order of the flight devices he expected them all to take part in the chase.

Ok numbers check out and background is better. You should pick out a deific parent at some point before it comes up in play. A couple of questions about her powers. First the perception range blast. What makes it perception range? What actually causes the damage pure divine energy or is it channeled into some form? (Knowing what diety you are related to would probably be a good guide for that.) Second I think the supersense should probably be a detect not an awareness. Detect is the active version where you touch something and see if it has magic. Awareness is when a power with that discritptor is used around you, so if somethign touching you Uses a power which I don't think is what you want. Description fluff should include what all non subtle powers look like. -
A short time later a bright white slash of light unfolded into a portal and JJ stepped out into the familiar and yet not surroundings of the living room. He stepped over tot he fireplace keeping himself as far as he reasonable could from his still dozing past self without being overly obvious of that fact. He pulled off the mask and let it hang loosely from his fingers as he leaned on the mantle waiting for the rest to arrive with poorly feigned calm.

Ok a few things. What is her actual origin? Does she cast spells? Is she empowered by some mystic force? What triggered her powers to manifest? Descriptors we need them. If its all just "magic" that's fine but what kind of magic? Why protection and not a forcefield? I understand that the concept is that she's new to the powers so I can see no Knowledge: Arcane Lore making sense assuming her magic is some kind of natural talent or empowerment. Attributes. It sounds like she's Human, if she's human she shouldn't have natural attributes above 24 maybe one at 26 ala bowman. If whatever empowered her pushed her Int, Wis, and Cha up to 30 the super human portion should be enhanced attributes. -
Some said that any sufficient concentration of attractive and available people was bound to attract Ace Danger, and while certainly true to a degree this particular event had been penciled in on his calender since the invitation arrived. Of course with the occasion honoring so distinctive an individual it wouldn't due to arrive in anything but the finest style and being Ace Danger that really left a great number of options but the one for today seemed particularly apt. Of course it helped that he hadn't taken advantage of the carpet in many years making it all the more exciteing as he shot across the Freedom skyline Tasseled edges of his transport fluttering in the wind. Arriving over the West End Ace banked into a steep dive out of the sky towards the backyard of the otherwise innocuous brownstone complex that housed the Interceptors. Pulling up at the last moment the flying carpet settled gently into a free corner and Ace stood and stepped off with a wave to the gathered guests and an easy smile on his lips, "Greetings and Salutations my friends and where is the birthday girl?" he inquired as he looked around the yard for Grimalkin.

Mike simply shook his head and lowered himself into the seat next to her. His face was soft as he searched her face concern plainly on display in his eyes. "Zoe I'm not going to tell you how angry or disappointed I am about all of this." he finally said, "You already know that. But I need you to understand that all of this has got to stop." he said gesturing at her petulant posture and walls he knew she was already reinforcing. "You are not alone and what you do effects the rest of us we deserve better than this." he further explained. He took a deep breath holding up one hand for her to hold off her response, "I need you to understand that when Alex found out who you really are we fought over what our role with you here was going to be." he said evenly, and fought was an understatement, thanks to their mental connection the fight had been short in time but hard fought on both sides. "I was able to convince her that we needed to step back and let you handle things. That we are not the parents you know and its not our place to try and pretend like we are." he finished a little sadly. Mike looked into her eyes, "You have decisively proven me wrong on at least one point. We may not be the parents you know but we are the ones you have and you do need us." he laid one hand gently on her shoulder, "I had hoped you'd come to us, trust us, even lean on us. But you haven't and we see where that has gotten us."
