Mike nodded agreement, "Yea probably. I mean I guess it doesn't really change much." he said with a shrug, "I mean James has been talking like we were already engaged if not married or like destined or something almost as long as we've know him." he says with a small laugh. He absently fiddled with some of the controls flipping channels absentmindedly. "I figure we won't actually get married for a few years." he says thinking out loud. He turned back to Erin, "I actually got the ring like three months ago." he admitted, "I didn't know when I was gonna do it but I wanted to be ready ya know?"

Mike shook his head then kinda shrugged, "I don't think so. I mean I haven't told anyone but she's Alex." he rambled then took a deep breath. "I dunno it seems crazy." he said with a sigh, "I mean we're not even out of highschool." he said with another shrug, "But I dunno it seems ... Right?" he said questioningly though predestined was likely more what he meant. "I don't know if she'll even say yes. I mean I hope so and I'm pretty sure but its also like really early." he continued still somewhat shocked he'd mentioned it as well.
-
"Yea." Mike replied with a nod, "Doesn't seem like enough time in the day sometimes." he said with a somewhat tired smile. He rubbed at his neck absently and glanced over the monitors filled with feeds on the various investments as well as the normal news feeds they kept an eye on in case the team was needed somewhere. "Been patrolling alot more and I started working with the SCC checking out odd signals they pick up." he explained with a shrug. He leaned back in his chair and looked back to Erin, "I think I'm going to ask Alex to marry me." he blurted out then clamped his mouth shut the weight of verbalizing the decision suddenly bearing down on him as he looked down at the floor uncomfortably silently kicking himself for not having a better segue.

Mike stepped out into the main control room of Young Freedoms hidden base beneath Caldwell Manor. A smile spread to his face as he saw Erin in a rare break from her usually grueling schedule as he'd been trying to find a moment to ask for some advice or maybe help. As he stepped down the small set of stairs to the control room floor he glanced around the room eyes seemingly unfocused as he looked through the walls to make sure there wasn't anyone else lurking in one of the other rooms. He was dressed in his civvies for the moment taking a break from his own all too consuming patrol schedule. "Heya Erin." he said as he lowered himself into one of the other chairs with a smile that tried to hide whatever was weighing on his mind, "Keeping busy?" he asked somewhat lamely as despite his growing confidence and exposure to normal socialization he was still a bit uncertain how to make small talk he rarely did at all unless what he actually wanted to discuss was even more difficult for him in some fashion.

I think Darkness rising pretty much wrapped. though Dead Head needs to get free of the rubble still I guess but you ruined Baron Samediis plans. You all are free to handwave or write a finishing post or two if you like.

The Finn sighed heavily and shot an angry look at Randy as he waddled over to the door, "Point that thing elsewhere." he said to the Doctor, "Or does the great Doktor Archeville really fear an overweight fence that much." he added with a roll of his eyes as he dropped his pretenses of innocence. With a series of rather pained sounding grunts he maneuvered his bulk down the ladder into the storehouse below. It was mostly empty at this point which had undoubtedly contributed to his lack of concern about its revelation. In one corner was a small stack of crates with Japanese script along the side and in the center of the room was a small table with a pair of chairs and a few scattered papers laid out. These the Finn regarded with a small frown as if he wasn't expecting them to be there but attempted to school his features before the others descended. Outside the room Devin could oddly hear nothing but a barely audible high pitched whine.

Not enough to get an idea of what they would be used for. But enough to know that alone those components can't be used for much. Havok would have to either have built something to interface them with or steal other stuff to do so.

Phalanx stepped into the elevator and watched as the Doctor worked his magic, shooting a small frown towards arrowhawk at the cavalier attitude about explosives. He stepped up the the front of the elevator as they descended, "I'll engage the robot if I'm not needed elsewhere." he said with a look to Archeville for confirmation. "Do you know what capabilities we should expect out of it?" he added questioningly assuming it was an invention of the doctors the villains had co-opted.

that would be a knowledge technology check. Sorry the RL monster ate me I'll try and get all this moving again.
-
Just to check have I been dropped form this? Doesn't seem like its progressed much since the RL monster ate me.

Phalanx's search drew to a close as the guards burst in and he looked up with a small frown, glancing around in concern as to where Midnight had vanished too before he turned to explain his findings to Gossamer and the guards. "I can't be sure but it looks like they took some data and destroyed any copies left here someone with more savvy then myself might be able to recover something though." he explained. He pointed to a few spots where the dust from HAVOKs entry left outlines of stolen Items and open drawers left clues as to what they had come for. "It looks like they took some antenna equipment and something called a encoding control module?" he said uncertainly as to what such a device could do. "Nothing not related to those Items seems to be missing its as if they knew exactly what they were looking for and where it could be found."

Go ahead an post Doc that'll lead into merging some stuff up. Displacer You're welcome to join in if you have a link to Doc then I think having him call you in might be the way to go with introducing you so it might take a couple posts.

Alright Alder asked me to put this up for her. Works gone nuts as half the staff in her office is quitting for one reason or another and her direct supervisor left without his full 3 months notice to deal with some personal matters. So needless to say that's been stressful, she's been having panic attacks about many things and getting back on top of stuff here has been one of them I'm gonna try this upcoming weekend to help her get caught up with whats going on here so she's not so overwhelmed by trying to catch up.

Ace'll try and use connected to get them Giant Mirror Satellites (Its the comics you know they are there) to redirect the suns rays onto the facility. I recognize it might take some time but am hoping to at least provide a cut off before morning that Dracula has to withdraw. I'll burn an HP if I can to force a success.

Ace nods to Dr. Archeville as he takes Fulcrums hand in a firm shake, "Good to have you." He murmured with a nod as he listened to Archevilles plans. When the doctor wrapped up Ace frowned, "The Icons are unlikely to have much effect its the faith of the presenter not the object itself that turns them back and theres almost no one who could make the Dragon balk regardless." He says succinctly, "The Garlic and silver may stop some of the minions but he has more than vampires at his disposal." He looked around the room. "What we really need is sunlight, It won't stop him but Draculas brood is weakened by the Sun." he said consideringly and tilted his head, "Though maybe ..." And he turned to pull his phone from his pocket and speak urgently into it. It was a last ditch plan and unlikely to come online quickly but it just might cut short Draculas time to attack. As he waited for a response he looked back to the doctor, "I'll see if I can shed some light on the situation." And with that he hurried downstairs to help guard the Lobby. Continued here.

It doesn't even really have a lock just a latch which you have plenty of success in disengaging. There is an advanced silent alarm system as well but it appears to be disengaged at the moment.

The Finn flinches away as the strange device is pointed his direction and holds up his hands, "Hey hey hey now I tol juu what I know buddy." He stammered nervously and shot a pleading look randys direction. As the Electromagnetic Screwdriver is pointed away from him he breaths a sigh of relief. There is a small click of a lock being disengaged on the trap door and the Finn sits up, "I dunno what that is, never seen dat door before in my life." he murmurs almost by rote eyes still locked on Archeville.

Cus geez3r needs eight more threads to run at once LOL. Seriously its a good plan for keeping the thread from taking forever fisticuffs had 3 fights and was pretty dang long. I think the best way for counting etc is to just copy a link to the next fight to the end of each thread. If Geez3r is nuts enough to run that many threads concurrently. Since they are PvP they won't take alot of posts but will take alot of rulings, so he also won't get much in the way of posts for it (other than the one dynamo is in)
