Well I guess more getting a feel of their mood. Are they just glad we're here, resentful and don't think they really need our help, clueless and impassive, etc.

Mike followed James lead at left Chris alone about his obvious troubles though he wanted to reach out to his friend he really didn't know how. Instead he just settled against the wall shooting him a concerned look while Ashley and Blake headed into the office, "Shouldn't take long." he said to their retreating backs. It didn't take long either though there was some confusion as to why blake hadn't picked up his room assignment sooner. Mr. Summers was prepared for their arrival none the less and after answering any questions and filing the last of the paperwork dismissed them. ~fin~

Right he's holding a bit of something back. Likely due to whatever it is being a bigger risk than whatever you could do by busting him. AKA someone made a better intimidate check to get him to keep quiet about something.

Baby woke up with spots this morning. AW and I may be slow on responses for a bit.

Need a sense motive to see if he's actually dropping full disclosure.

The Finns eyes slid to the concealed door then back to Archeville. "So that's how its gonna be eh?" He asked as his gaze flitted to Randy for a second before settling back to Archeville. "Wish I could tell ya more but I don't know mucha anything about it. If I did I woulda sold it along time ago cus lotsa folks want to know." the Finn replied blandly, "What I can tell ya is not of that stuff has hit the market anywhere." And randy knew the Finn was hooked in globally so that meant NO WHERE. The shifty fence sighed, "Only other thing I know is there ain't been no one hired for a single one of these jobs so its either a solo act or someone with their own crew no one knows."

Ace nodded agreement with the doctor. Turning to the others he flashed a confident smile, "So we just attack the entrenched Tyranny league in their stronghold before they can execute their nefarious plan. Simple enough." He said with a laugh as if it was as simple as a stroll through the park. "We'll need to free the Freedom League and destroy whatever their building there." He proposed, defeat of the Tyranny Syndicate being obvious of course, "Stesha think you can get any Intel on the island for us from here? They may not be expecting you're way of spying." He turned his gaze to Dark Star, "You should be able to keep us all hidden to most senses as we move in. However they will without a doubt have some contingencies." He looks to Archeville, "You up to outfoxing Daedulus Doc?"

Search checks to find clues in the area ransacked. Phalanx will shift his array to speed/quickness 10 and take 20 as a free action, For a 20 result.

Moments later the stomp of booted feet could be heard as a rapid response security team arrived at the door. They quickly fanned into the room with military precision, Gossamer will not they move with the same patterns as during the break in trainings a week ago precise and efficient. Once the area is clearly secured they begin to help the remaining students to their feet and shuffle them down into a more secure area while the school is contacted. The sergeant in charge turns to Gossamer, "Dr. DeHavilland what happened here?" Phalanx hovered slowly into the area where Midnight stood, "You see anything?" He inquired quietly as he looked around the ransacked lab space.

Take ten for a 19 to hit the thugs by the hostages DC 30 Toughness if it hits using take-down attack to get as many of them as I can.
-
Phalanx shouts, "On it. I'll try and take out the ones holding the hostages." And speeds toward the bank a blur of blue and gold. Flying through the doors he makes a beeline for the thugs guarding the customers. He Slammed into the nearest one trying to knock the lot of them away from the hostages even without working guns they could be dangerous at that range.

HE's asking who's going to pay for his time and information.

Mike looked away at Chris's outburst. He recalled the bank incident and knew that Chris had given up the hero gig afterward. The big teen really didn't know what more to say, Heroing had been chris's whole thing before it was hard to imagine chris without geckoman. And from the looks of things it wasn't exactly much better for chris. "Well Erin is up most night still maybe the two of you could ..." He knew better than to say train but didn't really know what all Erin got up to in the late nights.
-
Mike followed behind and looked Chris over with some concern, "Uhh you doing ok Chris?" he asked glad james was there to follow the lead of as social, well anything, wasn't his strong suit. "This is Ashely and the one with the tentacles is Blake." He introduced.

sense Motive (1d20+17=37) Checking to see if the Agents are reacting to my jibes appropriately.

Ace passed through security with an almost bored and nonplussed look on his face, "They don't tell the taxi service anything useful. We'll find out more when we meet up with the ... director?" he ended with a question. Ace had never really done well with the rank and file of AEGIS. Too military for his taste. "But to put out a theory they do know something more or at least suspect." HE added glanceing to the group, "As if it was only the giant monsters we wouldn't be needed." He smiled wide and turned to follow the agents, "Us being here means they know somethign but can't make heads or tails of what it actually means."
-
Mike nodded agreement with James but didn't really want to say anymore about Chris's leave of absence. It was rather shocking to have someone who was so devoted to it all just up and quit. "Its really not hard all of us have faced being different in one way or another even if it is still high school." he added though left out naming names about who made it so very high school. As they reached the receptionist he pointed, "Just let her know who you are. I'm sure they're expecting you."

Set gadgets to enhanced equipment 5 that should be plenty to get a sports car with alt travel flight. Gonna reset the gadgets after he arrives anyway so I won't bother fully stating it out.

Ace excused himself from the mayor and DA saying, "So sorry I have to take this." as he steps onto the balcony of his penthouse to take the call. At the Doktors words his trademark grin turns down at the corner, "Light the place up, UV if you have it, that'll keep the lesser ones away. I'll be there soon." Ace dodged through the crowd at the party to reach the door to the penthouse and doffing his rumpled fedora stepped out the door and vanished from sight. In moments the high speed elevator delivered him to his car and pulling an old keypad with the AEGIS insignia from his pocket slid it into a small recess in the dash his fingers flying over the keys. With a click and a deafening roar rockets flared to life and propelled the vehicle out of the garage and into the sky. Banking hard to the north ace made for Archtech whizzing through the skyline. He brought it in hot and the boosters left long scorch marks across the plaza in front of Archtech as he brought it to a rocky landing and jumped free to make for the main entrance hoping they hadn't gone to full lock-down.

Toughness save. I'm just gonna roll with him not wearing the vest to the party. (1d20+6=7) Hmmm well what the hell worth tossing an HP its direction in my book they aren't gonna be doing me no good if I'm dead for the thread anyway. HP Reroll (1d20+6=19) That's fail by 8 stunned and bruised and injured (assuming lethal though its not mentioned)

Ace shrugged at Dark Stars look, "There are many explanations possible." He replied. Pausing consideringly he looked to Taylor then back to Stesha, "The Fluer de Joie is a plant with a long history of supposed mystic powers." He explained, "The botanical community has of course naysayed most as being superstition due to its unusual blooming characteristics and its rarity." His tone made it clear he did not see eye to eye with such men of science. "I'm sure with some digging Taylor could find out if there is any truth to rumors of it granting immortality." He concluded, "As well you absorbed the essence of my Mankana which is well known to have healing powers." he added nonchalantly. Looking to the others he merely shrugged, "In the end however I think when standing in the presence of Vampires, dimensional sorceresses, and energy beings there is little point in debating. Simply enough death is less permanent for some than for others."

Mike followed along, "Ah really?" he asked curiously, "That shouldn't be too big a deal." He looked to see if Blake and James were following as well and continued, "We get students that haven't been in traditional schools every now and then. they have some great programs to catch up or just integrate with how things run here." He explained well aware of the programs both from his and Alex's past as well as Erins. He didn't ask anything further knowing some people didn't like to talk about their past.
