Mike shrugged, "Not really but that's not saying much. Chris prefers to come and go through the window and Eddie just ports everywhere now." He said with a grin. "Mark and James've both been pretty busy lately." He left out that at the best of times he wasn't the most observant guy around and had sat with his back facing the door so unless someone had actually said something to him he was unlikely to have any idea if they were around. He nodded and flashed Blake a smile, "Yea there's a bunch of check in stuff usually but it doesn't take too long most times."

Hope you can manage something soon. Good luck :)

Ace slowly circled the prison unit looking for a control or access panel. Something he could work with. "I can't say with certainty what effect that would have on Dark Star Jack." He said distractedly, "And I'm not really game for starting up a black hole ... well really anywhere." "Ah ha!" he exclaimed as he found a panel and pried it open. Ace pulled a keypad like device from his coat trailing a tangle of leads and probes like some kind of electric jellyfish and quickly set about latching the probes to the strange electronics of the prison. "Borrowed this from a Buddy in AEGIS, new prototype they're testing." He explained as he began punching keys on the small pad biting his lip and clicking his tongue as he worked. A smile split his face and he looked to the others, "I think I have it. Get ready in case... He's not feeling himself." Ace was fully aware of the effects such confinement might have on their friend. He punched the final button and there was a shower of sparks from the panel and a click hiss as the prison opened the hum of its gravtic field going silent.

Things haven't sped along too fast so get an IC post of you starting your own investigation soon and I'll try and squish you in with the others.

Ace swept into the room with a smile, "My ears were burning for good reason it seems." He said with a wink. He set the gift on a convenient table and leaned in to press a quick, though likely too long for Jacks taste, kiss on each of Taylors cheeks. "I know I'm supposed to babble a bout the glow and all that but its not really my style. Suffice to say motherhood suits you, if not your lifestyle." The last with a critical eye to jacks decor.

Just to see if this'll work Beginners luck for Disable device 5 [1HP] Set gadgets to ehnhanced skills 3 (12 ranks) Disable device; Enhanced Int 2 [5pp] (Electronic skeleton key) Take 20 on Disable device for a total of a 41?
-
Alright the effect works as you would hope then. If I read that write up correctly they can still choose to refuse the teleport if they want. Avenger is up. If everyone accepts the teleport we'll be out of rounds

Mike frowned slightly at eddies comment, he felt there was an unspoken agreement that that wasn't brought up and Mike didn't leave him in orbit. He shook his head and moved on to explain to trevor, "Pretty simple really. Normal rules but with full powers ... well powers that are safe at least." he said as he passed around the rest of the sandwiches.

Phalanx can get the highest toughness parts down as a full round action. +15 str +10ss = +25 for a total of DC 40 The Structure takes a 5 +20 toughness for a total of 25 failing by 15 just enough for a destroyed(Dead) result getting us access. That assumes no extra thickness but it can go up to 5 steps up the progression table in thickness (~4 feet) before it drops below a Broken (disabled) result which is enough for a hole we could get through. I'll do an IC in a lil bit giving everyone a chance to respond IC first.
-
Mike smiled and shrugged mildly uncomfortably. He wasn't offended just not sure how to respond. "Uhhm yea, I guess so." He finally said with a nod, "Good to meet you Blake." Well he certainly didn't seem big on the secret ID thing that was a welcome change from some people Mike always had trouble remembering who did or didn't know and was worried he'd let something slip to the wrong person.

Actually with full SS the full round damage would be +25. +15 base strength +9 SS from the array and he has a rank of SS out of the array for another +1 So he could as a full round get a 'destroyed' result on the toughness 20 portions. Thought that doesn't take thickness into account. Of course Phalanx hasn't done so yet so if the Doc wants to open the door another way first he can pipe up :D

Oops sorry i thought we were waiting on me :)

Phalanx breathed a sigh of relief as Psyche caught the falling cars and immediately altered course. 'I'll try and keep the bug thing off the bridge.' he replied as he angled to charge down at the strange monster before it could cause more damage. He was pretty sure wander could keep the one on the boat tied up and hoped that Hellion could manage to keep the giant in the middle of the bridge tied up until they could deal with it. As he shot out of the sky he swung his fist forward landing a telling blow to the creatures midsection.

Charge power attack 5 on the monster that was setting up to charge the bridge. (1d20+6=20) DC 35 toughness, Phalanx defense drops to +4.
-
I assumed that would be the case just giving folks a chance to say something before he rips it open.
-
Phalanx knew well enough that Marks plans were chancy but usually worked so he waited on marks signal as he listed off what he was able to see before mark had hied off to put his plan in motion, "Stick as close as you can." He said to the others still with him, "I'll try to keep you covered."
-
Phalanx nodded to Jack and crushed the device in his hand, "Good enough for me." He said and moved towards the main door preparing to get them an entrance. Doc could direct the teleporter better than him anyway and the rest of them still needed a way in. He tested the door in the likely futile hope that it would not be locked down fully.
-
Phalanx looked at the small device on the ground and stepped quickly over to it plucking it from the ground. "If he left it behind it was on purpose, playing to what they want us to do isn't going to get us anywhere." He said as one big hand closed around the earpiece. Turning back to the others he paused thoughtfully for a moment, "When your enemy has a plan its usually best not to follow it."
-
Right now your necromantic power array is at triple strength actually. And you can Choose to not have to use extra effort for the effect ... though there may be consequences.

Set gadgets to Boost 1 (Immunity: Environmental cold; PFs: slow fade 4) [5pp] It'll last an hour.

Ace blinked wide as they emerged from the void knee deep in the snows of the Himalayas. He zipped up his coat and frowned at Phantom for a moment before pulling out a small flask and taking a drink, of the slightly warm liquid from it before passing it to Jack, "Here it'll help." He offered as color began to return to his cheeks as the Yetis milk did its work. He looked around trying to pick out where exactly this prison would be.
-
I'll go ahead and start a discussion on this in the ref cave but these kinds of things don't generally happen quickly as a warning.

Heh that seems to be going around. Just to clarify Use of GM Fiat awards an HP. Now you could use the "I wasn't able to see." as a descriptor for stuff you don't want to fill in that's fine. If its denying me information that my power "should" reveal then its a fiat and awards an HP. In this case it sounds like its the former so no worries. Works out anyway as I'm probably gonna limit it when we hammer out how it works here anyway.
-
There isn't really a power that counters penetrates concealment is the thing. And number of hero points generally don't factor into if its a fiat or not, if you declare a power doesn't work because plot demands it its a fiat. But as you said it doesn't really impede things much so far and doesn't really matter enough for me to argue over it.

Phalanx frowned slightly as his vision was blocked by the Doctors panic rooms but the power was new to him and hadn't seen extensive testing good to know it could be blocked he supposed. As his gaze drifted down his frown deepened unable to make out much of the lower levels at all. "Looks like defenses are active inside, I would guess all the employees are in the secure rooms I can't see into." He explained after a moment he continued, "Little trashcan looking bots running around in the building and stronger defenses lower down, combat robots and stuff guarding against assault from up here." He looked to the group, "If Knieval is in there he's either in one of those secure rooms or way down in the substructure. The elevator to the lower levels looks to be in order still though." He flits his gaze to Archeville, "Normal lock down I assume?"
