  1. Perception range on an aoe effect still gets a reflex save the effect is just centered within perception range when activated. If its the perception version of area it would still be centered on her at touch range but would effect anyone who perceives her with the effected sense type (the perception area effect is bundled with sense dependent) But they would still get a reflex save to look away. The reflex is built into the Area extra replacing whatever normal targeting mechanism. Of course that may have been errata'd or clarified on ATT as I can't navigate that place for the life of me.
  2. Well emotion control is also perception range standardly so I think it would come out to Emotion Control 10 (extras: Area, Aura; Flaws: Range: touch -2, Limited: Fear, Limited: Shaken only, Permanent -0; PFs: Subtle) [6pp] Or maybe even adding the insidious extra as well to bring it up to 11pp and have it be even harder to tell whats going on. But again if its supposed to be something that just creeps people out with no benefit it would be a complication.
  3. Sounds like a complication unless they can actually use it for something more. Just get an HP every-time the waiter ignores you or you can't get a date to prom. If you want it to actually cause mechanical effects perhaps some kind of emotion control aura but that too me seems overkill from what you described and I can't think of any of the emotions that really fit.
  4. Ace Danger - Remove the rivalry with Avenger complication DONE BY SHAENTHEBRAIN
  5. Depends how large you want it to figure into threads. If you just want to say he's part of this department of the PD that deals with big crimes thats fine. If you want his day job to come up in thread much you should work with the refs to make sure you don't introduce anything that is counter to the feel we're going for.
  6. We dealt with a buncha minions in the first YF thread here
  7. I made a version where I didn't lock myself down to a point cap and just had way too much stuff on him. He'll probably get upgrades as plots progress. I also figure that when he needs to be tougher (faceing down several heroes) he can have some "new upgrades" to the suit via inventor (as a setback for the PCs maybe). As for the Havok bots they may get upgrades at some point but I'm happy with their basic capabilities so far, they really are just fodder.
  8. Dropped the dynamic on the repulsorlift array he either has the system engaged for flight or for lift assistance, Cut the radio super sense and the extended from his Radar. I think that brings the points in line.
  9. Phalanx Beach Party in Winter A Day Without Powers Back to School Ace Danger One of these things is not like the others Childhood Dream
  10. Mike just laughed and shook his head at his friends suggested antics, "Satellites going missing tends to ring alot of alarm bells out by star Island." He said with a grin. Mike had grown more accustomed to using his powers and feared them much less than he used to but he remained one of the more cautious members of the team when it came down to it. He clapped mark on the back, "Besides, if I start showing off megastar or someone will decide to start up and before long Bolt will step it up just to cheese you off."
  11. She's doing pretty much better just trying to get back in the swing of things. I'll poke her about catching up round these parts some more :)
  12. Ten ranks of Notice and Search are from the suits sensor array. I better noted that in the skills section. I think having the array as dynamic is 9pp; 6 for the pp available 1 for an AP and 2 for dynamic x 2. Spent the two points from the repulsorlift array on comprehend, No idea why I can't get it through my head that that's 2pp a rank not 1. I added extended to the Radar sense.
  13. AW has been sick much of the week, Hopefully she'll get back in the swing this weekend.
  14. There might be some confusion with the Name. I'm not sure what our policy is on that though.
  15. Sorry for the minimum presence of late struggling with vague burnout and needing to refocus what I want out of my characters, gonna try to get back in the swing of things in the next few days.
  16. ... where did my turn go? Interpose doesn't take up your turn.
  17. Ace is currently immune to Gravity effects.
  18. I'm up for bringing Phalanx in on this. Usual procedure for claremont is to just start a thread with you showing up at the school and making sure at least a couple people know about it. Sometimes we do tours and stuff but that isn't necessary. Is he starting mid term or just meeting the others now?
  19. Mike chuckled at his friends enthusiasm. "You hit terminal velocity around two thousand feet anyway, and even just with that speed I might break the pool." He explained with a shrug not really sure what Marks point was supposed to be. He certainly didn't have Marks desire to be the center of attention and certainly not for being the guy who broke the pool with a silly stunt. "Not to mention the difficulty of aiming from that height, I'd have to get Alex to calculate an entry vector or something." He added with a smile.
  20. So the papyrus is clearly old but not ancient and while somewhat fragile isn't ready to crumble away or anything. Its scribed with hieroglyphics.
  21. As shaen says it sounds like your looking for a degree of granularity that M&M just doesn't really do. Another option might be just to go with intimidation, it doesn't have to be thugish avenger style I'm gonna dangle you off this building it can certainly be represented by a more calculated read of a person and playing on their fears and weaknesses rather than direct threats.
  22. Probably best just to buy the streetwise normally and leave it to story to show that the West end is his are of specialty. For instance I generally give situational modifiers for people in their "home turf" on those kinds of checks. As for the alternate taunt just use bluff, just because she doesn't lie doesn't mean she can't and we're (well me at least) opposed to substitutions especially if they swap attributes. Yes I know taunt is already a substitution but its bluff for intimidate and intimidate has the same thing available with startle. Maybe something subbing in diplomacy for intimidate but really bluff is the best fit for that kind of thing IMHO.
  23. Mike easily stepped up the ramp ducking through the low door and began strapping himself into one of the seats, he wasn't so much worried about a crash as the fact that Chris had a rather inventive idea of how to pilot and he might hurt someone if he was flung across the cabin at them. Once seated and strapped in he did a quick check to make sure Alex was as well before turning to Chris, "Can't we skip that part this time?"
  24. Ace shrugged and tossed the box to the teen. "See if you can make anything of it then." he said as he glanced around at their disabled foes, "Jack he have anything useful to say?" After a few moments of examination Edge was growing frustrated with the infuriating box. While there were several panels that seemed to slide there was no rhyme or reason to their movement. He took a moment to calm himself leaning on the box as he took a deep breath and heard a distinct click of a catch opening. As he gently opened the lid he saw a small roll of papyrus old and yellowed but seemingly intact.
