The villain gasped as the faceplate gave way one frightened eye looking out of the hole Jack of all Blades had created, "They said they could spring the rest of us that got picked up at the jewel heist. We just needed to get that box to them by tonight, I dunno what for but tonight or no deal. The boss new where the meet was but didn't tell us." Given his state it seemed unlikely that he was lying or holding anything back. As the sirens of the police grew closer Ace looked away from the box and down to the immobilized Power Corps member, "Well they were right they have arranged to reunite you with your incarcerated brethren." he said and flipped the box into his pocket. "If they were this desperate they might have agents in the police or museum staff to take advantage of the disruption, this'll be safer with us for now."

Mike nodded dumbly and took the bottle from her, 'This is suddenly like one of those bad teen movies.' he thought to himself. He took a deep steadying breath and gently squeezed a dollop of the sunscreen into one big hand as he stepped behind her and carefully began to rub the lotion onto her back and shoulders. As he did so he reminded himself 'Its Alex and she's your girlfriend theres no harm in a little touching.' though he turned even redder as the thought strayed through his head. He leaned in to whisper to her, "You really do look great." as his hands dropped down to her lower back.

Well we also have a few variations on the trickster theme too. Like Madcap and Jester. In the end don't worry about what other people are playing it changes often enough that you don't really need to. Either concept works pretty well I think. Best advice I can give is make what seems interesting to you and make sure to give them a good reason to be active. Reactive heroes who tend to be harder to get involved with things.

Mikes blush deepened at James words and he awkwardly added, "On you I mean, erm, you look ... really good in it." he glanced over as Eddie made a bee-line for the pool thankful for the brief distraction. 'Yea that was alot better' he thought shaking his head slightly, he really wished his mouth would work better at times like this.

Mike blinked at Faiths rather dramatic response and began to wonder if all this time spent with Mark and the rest had really inured him that much to this kind of thing or if she was just overreacting. He decided to ere on the side of caution and smiled at her explaining, "It take all of us time to get used to our powers and you ad no way of knowing Mark wouldn't think about coming back down, no harm no foul right?" At Alexs threat he held up his hands in mock fear and smiled, "Sorry sweet heart, you are way more fun to catch if that helps." he added with a laugh and with a quick look Chris' direction asked, "So are you gonna keep discussing our burgeoning Bromance or bring your ride down here so we can go get lunch?"

DC 25 Will save from Dead Head vs. what is basically a stun effect from the sudden influx of energy. DC 25 Arcane lore check to ID what's going on for Phantom and dead head (them magic senses is useful) DC 30 for the others.
-
As Dead Heads words rang ominously across the cavernous room he felt the power in the room reacting to his presence but not in the manner he had expected. The necromantic energy flared to life sickly green flames leaping from the runes and sigils bathing the room in an eerie glow as all normal light was snuffed out in an instant. Dead Head could feel the energy seek him like lightning to ground and then felt the very fiber of his being shaken by the sudden influx of power seeking a home. Outside the room the others could see the runes flare to life and the energy course across the floors and ceilings as it channeled into Dead Head. Phantoms senses detecting the stored energy suddenly discharging as it finally found a home, hopefully Dead Head was strong enough to hold that kind of power.

Mike was about to answer Erin but the words died on his lips as his petite girlfriend unveiled her new and much more grown up swimwear. His eye unconsciously traveled up and down her small frame and his mouth went dry before he eventually managed to croak out, "I'll get drinks." and turned to shuffle over to collect drinks for them. He quickly ducked behind the bar to quickly change into his own black swim trucks, now much tighter after his most recent growth spurt, before rejoining the girls taking a long drink of his soda and clearing his voice to complement, "New suit looks really nice Alex." with a slight blush.

A few crackled words, "What ... ou ...t ...ow" came across the suits intercom but while he seemed willing to talk the suit was more than a little bit of a hindrance to getting any useful information out of the would be thief. Ace pulled a small inlaid box from the case carefully running his hands over the surface with a frown as he searched for a hidden catch or any sign of why S.H.A.D.O.W. was after it. "They pulled this out of a deep bunker, took them almost a week to clear out the Thule Society SS guarding it and some other artifacts, but I don't think we ever figured out what this thing was."

Ace came to his feet shaking off the effects of his brief visit to the other side as the shadows sprung up. He glanced down at Stesha, "Thanks for the pick me up." and shot her a quick wink. Looked around at the spell forming then to Taylor giving her a quiet nod, "Take em down Phantom they don't have any idea who they are dealing with." Turning to the shadows at large he shouted, "You hear that you morons? You have just stepped up to the Chosen Of Heshem."

Alright Cy wasn't attached either way so I'll be wrapping this in a day or two.
-
Use the stats you had when the encounter started which I think was your old stats. You'll update to the new ones as soon as the scene ends.

Ace didn't have to feign disgust at Avengers behavior but he followed the vampires lead none the less hissing, "We're not ready what do you think you're doing, trying to get us all killed?" though he knew his words would easily be picked up by the senses of the ephemeral being on the other side of the portal. He haphazardly flipped on the gravtic stabilizer he had been toying with and dusted his hands with something from a small pouch hanging from his belt a he tried to step out of the path of the portal, neatly placing himself near Phantom just in case.
-
Bluff (1d20+23=32) Ace'll follow Jacks lead. Also setting Gadgets to Immunity 2 (Gravity effects) Gravtic stabilizer and enhanced Feats 3 (Effects insubstantial 2, favored opponent(insubstantial beings)) Ghost dust.

The haywire systems of the Power Corps armor continued to spark and smoke knocking out the already injured six and four who collapsed as their misfiring weapons scored scattered hits on each other as they tried to fire at Ace and Jack. A large arc fired off of the case eight was working on as it finally slid open and burned out the suits controls leaving him imprisoned in the now dormant metal cage. Ace slid over to examine what exactly they were after trying to clear the smoke, "Jack see if he knows anything useful, This thing look familiar to you kid?"

Allright I'm gonna just call that enough to KO all but eight who will be conscious but out of the fight. DC 20 History check to ID what they were after, Intimidate or Diplomacy to get info out of number eight.

As Atlas led them back around the corner and down the short hall both phantom and Deadhead could feel the powerful necromantic emanations coming from the room in question. Atlas was correct the room was trapped and would drain the life force of any who entered, it was also somehow cloaked form mystic senses as they could barely notice it until they were within a couple yards or so, magic of this power would normally be felt by every sensitive in the city. It was difficult to make out but to phantoms trained eyes the inscriptions around the bodies below were prepared to be raised as some unholy army of the dead. The amount of power required for such a spell however was significant and even the power emanating from the room would be insufficient, without closer investigation however she wouldn't be able to tell more.

So opinions requested. You three want to finish out this raid or just storyline a successful blow struck against the Mob? I'm good either way.
-
After his blow knocked Steelgrave out Phalanx leapt back from the sudden dimensional teleporting. As the lava began to bubble and rise he dropped to the ground and grabbed the nearest pair of Proles before flashing through the gate with them tucked under his arms only to return and repeat the process in a blur as he raced against the rising tide of destruction headed their way.
-
Mike shook his head and laughed at his roommate nonplussed reaction to the fall. He swung a gentle arc and sped toward the ground coming to a gentle stop and depositing Mark back on terra firma. "Not bad for a first time, at least you didn't go so high you lost consciousness." He said a shooting a quick smile and wink Alexs direction.

Alright then what do you see as being her motivation to be a Hero once she starts? Prove herself to her family? With great power comes great responsibility? In it for the Kicks? Any kind of villain that would be her real nemesis? Like arrow-hawks beef with gun toting mobsters, or a through a glass lightly version of Malices issue with other Power Suit users? Evil scientists? the poorly coifed? Reading up on her background and what not I'm having trouble seeing why she would be a hero as she's really pretty happy as a scientist and researcher, what would influence her to go out and put life and limb on the line? I think this is the central issue that led to her not being engaging for you in the past is why I ask. As you well know its not powers that make a super hero but the will to go out and try and make a difference. She seems to need some kind of watershed event to push her into the hero life, and that event will shape what kind of hero she becomes so you should try and figure out where you want her to be so that you can chart the course to get there.
-
Well I think Phantom is whipping up a ritual to make some kind of prison that'll hold him, once that is done we try and lure him in and either beat him up or trap him. Mostly trap him and probably have to fight him when he avoids our clever trap.
-
Any thoughts on what kind of mischief? Whats her crime fighting motivation/goals.
