Four more zombies attack Dead Head once more. 1d20+3=10, 1d20+3=9, 1d20+3=21, 1d20+3=8 DC 28 Toughness Creature is stunned Dead Head is Up.

That'll be sufficient to slam the door in his face.

Bone and sinew snapped as Atlas brutalized the monstrous creature keeping it too off balanced for it to gain any leverage with its many limbs. The cultist instantly fell under the sway of Avengers dark gaze and turned on his fellows dark incantations dripping from his lips and shadowy energy gathered at his fingertips. The it suddenly dissipated as the cultist convulsed collapsing to his knees. The others prepared to cast another volley of dark energy at the assembled heroes when inky shadows erupted from the convulsing cultist warping into a strange window into darkness. The Cultists fell to their knees with declarations of "THE MASTER COMES!" Phantom can feel the portal aligning soon it will open connecting to a shadowy nether realm.

1d20+18=25 Fail by six another injury and stunned once more. Dimensional portal is opening it is dimensional magic. Dead Head knows its a dimensional effect and Phantom can tell its a portal and to where it will connect (insert shadowy necro-realm here ) Phantom is Up.

Ace frowned slightly at the call box's announcement. Even if the league was all occupied, which was rare enough an occurrence without overt threat, Freedom Hall was normally maned by assorted support staff. He wouldn't put it past the league for this to be some sort of test as well but didn't wish to speculate too much. As the news van spilled forth its eager crew he slowly descended the next few steps, "As I'm sure you well know Amy," He replied with practiced ease, "I have a long standing relationship with the league, My fellows as well all have proven themselves ardent Guardians of Freedom city." No real claim of a direct connection to the league nor even that they were a formal team of any sort but hints of what he hoped was to come. He made his final approach and quickly avoided explaining their presence there with introductions gesturing to his fellow heroes in turn, "Dark Star I'm sure you know from his vigilant defense of the city from many threats, The good Doctor Viktor Archeville as well has faced many a nefarious foe to protect our fair city, Fluer de Joie works both in beautifying the city as well as defeating crazed villains bent on all manner of destruction, and of course Freedom Angel as he has come to be called in the press." He stared down at the young reporter with the full force of his personality, "We all of course share a common goal of protecting you, the citizens of this great city, with each other as well as the league."

The bottom is sealed as well. It seems like the generators are probably built into the structure itself.

Mike took the offered plate with a nod of thanks and dug in as she explained her theory. "So would it even have had to be in this dimension? Like the main device was in Erde when we got sucked over right?" His knowledge of inter-dimensional physics was admittedly poor but he used what he had. "Or would they have had to have a big set up on this side?"

I think if you're going for the guy who is shooting you can just use trick and if you want the shooter to hit his buddy its the feat? Trick is odd in that its effects are entirely situational so I'm not sure if redirect would be absolutely necessary in that situation.

Blerg I was looking at the pp cost he had listed not the ranks.

Ace Danger 12pp to spend Add: Gadgets 1 (Be Prepared, 5 pp worth of hard to lose Device) [7pp] Explanation: after decades of adventures Ace always manages to have just the thing he needs on hand Add Complication: Disarmed!: Aces gadget power is hard to lose as he has to be stripped of all of his devices to completely lose access. However many of the individual items are hand held and can be disarmed as normal. Equipment is all screwy (Manor cost is off mostly) replace Danger Manor HQ with: Danger Manor [total 21] Toughness 10 [1] Size Large [2] Combat Simulator [1] Communications [1] Computer [1] Dock [1] Defense system (Stun 12 [Crazy Purple Knockout Gas; Extra: Sleep, area; Flaws: Limitation{Gas attack, stopped by Immunity suffocation, or Immunity poison}][1] Fire prevention system [1] Garage [1] Gym [1] Hangar [1] Infirmary [1] Library [1] Living space [1] Personnel [1] Pool [1] Power system [1] Security System x 3 (DC 30) [3] 5 pp Remain also initiative should be +0

As empowerment can grant enhanced traits as well as powers of any descriptor it would be the 7pp/rank VP as is in the book.
-
Ok I like the changes to her background and particularly motivations much more heroic sounding. Empowerment I believe will only allow you to bestow powers on others not on yourself. From what I can tell its constructed as follows: Variable power X (Any power 7pp/rank; Extras: Effects others +1; Flaws: Others only -1, Action: Full -1) [Final cost 6pp/rank] If you want it to effect yourself as well the cost would be 7pp/rank basically eliminating the others only flaw. I'm not going to outright say no to the great-sword but that sword is nearly as big as she is, and she is not exceptionally strong (or really exceptionally physically adept at all) So it does seem a bit odd. You might consider a normal sword as she doesn't meet PL caps with just the sword anyway.
-
The trick action would be the simplest explanation. Perhaps with a skill replace heroic feat for just such an occasion, like concentration or even a will save to represent the willingness to shoot oneself. Failure means they hit something important hence the person trying to trick takes the damage. Since damage in M&M is fairly cinematic anyway I don't think this would really even need to have a component of the person being shot through taking damage. In the case of the mighty invulnerable types I would say its just a bad descriptor of the action.

The shovel comes down on the amulet with a deep tolling ring. The surface of the gem spiderwebs with tiny cracks but the amulet remains intact. To those attuned to such things however a dull throb of shadowy necromantic energy pulses from the damaged amulet.

You don't have the distance to get a proper charge off but Taking ten seems valid as its just sitting on the ground and a plus 6 will hit. Its a rank 2 device so it will have a toughness of 12 1d20+12=21 Damaged.

I figure we should clarify this before hand. What kind of equipment are folks using, or leaving out? Like are we keeping our armored costumes but no weapons? Doesn't make a big difference to me but I figure I should clarify before we end get to rolling the dice :)

Mike took Alex's hand in his own and led the way up to the Manor proper, "So any other ideas bouncing around in there," He tapped her gently on the head, "about what's going on?" He asked. He wasn't sure but it seemed like there had been more to that technobabble than he first thought.

Phalanx stared at Geckoman in mild confusion at his commentary about scent tracking then leaned in to ask quietly, "Wait you have a nose sensitive enough to track a guy across the jungle and you live with Eddie?" He leaned back as Mark adjourned the meeting asking Psyche, "I'm gonna get some food and stuff together I guess you need anything?"
-
Mike visibly tensed and relaxed as the blade made its gentle descent. Once it was clear Darrien was in no danger from the angel he turned to Alex, 'So you have any more questions?' he inquired silently with a glance towards the crowded dais. When the angel had first appeared he had thought he would want to know all sorts of answers. All the vagueries of the bible put to rest, his own nagging doubts as well but as he saw the crowd gather he realized that real or not the angels answers were no more valid than those he found himself. He was curious about why he had come here and now but that too would likely become clear in time.
-
Ace strolled casually down the ramp pausing at the half-way mark to offer up a few well practiced poses for the crowd and cameras. He then ran the remaining length sliding agilely into the ring and rolling to his feet stirring up the crowd as he jumped up on the bucklers flashing his famed smile hands raised egging on the crowds deafening roar. He finished his intro facing the other competitors with a wink and kiss blown in Grimalkins direction before turning to Colt with a braggart grin as he raised his fists in front of him in a classic fisticuffs pose.

Yufone Ryujin -- Tier 2 npc PL10 Villian --The Joshie

Archived due to player absence. Not approved. -
Well you did earn NPC points on Knieval all of who's pp were transferred to colt. But nice try Also it's my understanding that its 2pp total ever for NPC submissions anyway not 2pp per character. Ok on to review. Confuse ray AP: Perception range doesn't work that way. Perception range is that the user has to be able to detect the target with an accurate sense. It looks like you're modeling something like the sense dependent portion of the perception area type. As its not an area effect that doesn't apply here. 360 ray AP: technically penetrating is an extra not a power feat though you can buy less than full ranks of the extra, you can not turn it off so it should be listed as an extra not a PF. Nullify strike AP: Needs the duration you bought it to to be listed. Looks like concentration? Also nullify affects insubstantial by default so you don't need the Power Feat. Firestorm: For stealth mode do you mean conceal? Obscure is placing like a smoke cloud or what not that blocks those sense types conceal is negating your presence to those senses, either way descriptors are needed for the power.

What are the descriptors for the non-absorption powers? Mutant?
