Mike looked down at her with a wide smile and sliped his hand down under her arms cradling her head under his chin and slowly drifted up above the treeline and further still slowly spinning as he did so. The lights of Freedom city winked on below their feet he was oblivious to the splendor, lost instead in Alex's gaze.

OK math looks good and nothing glaringly problematic with the mechanical side but we do need descriptors for your powers. On the subject of descriptors they have to match for AP's (Including power stunts) so as it sound as if your enhanced wisdom is based off of soething like untapped psionic potential you won't be able to summon things with it only channel it into things with the psychic descriptor. Also without any luck you're not goign to be able to stunt off that often. Your gadgets pool has the same PP cost as the wisdom and due to the descriptors being different they won't stack in general (There might be rare circumstances but generally no). So you might be better off with less wisdom and puttting those points into some other thematic powers. The high wisdom overall doesn't really seem to fit with the description given of her. Few relitively normal, competative teens have that level of self awareness. Even Psyche who has less wisdom IIRC is unique in that she doesn't fall into the normal teen ways of thinking. From your description this doesn't seem to be the case for Faith. Getting into the backstory elements. Some more detail on how they taught her to controll her powers might be helpfull in fleshing out where she comes from but alot of that can also come out in the questionaire. I'm more concerned about her motivations. Hypercompetitiveness isn't really a reason to become a hero, and I'm not seeing any real motivation for her to be a hero other than a vague "I have powers I guess I'll be a hero and show off." So you might look at lower wisdom and some other actual powers, and I'd like to see why she's a hero and not just a person with powers.

"No worries." Ace replied as he found the number and quickly passed it on, "Archeville is really the preeminant man in the field of metahuman studies I'm sure he'd love to have the chance to see you. Let me know if there is anything else you need." and with that dealt with and a rather sultry request from his bedroom Ace hung up.
-
Ace nodded with a soothing sigh as she expressed concern over the odity of hte request etc. In his lifetime it was virually assured he'd heard and made odder. When she finished he smiled, not so odd after all, nor surprising that she would want a specialist given her own unique physiology. "Well I know just the man for the job and he can be quite descrete when needed as well." he replied calmly, "If its a specialist in metahiman physiology you need theres none better than Doctor Archeville. Let me get you the direct number, ever since Archtech got started its been impossible to get to him through normal channels." Ace flipped quickly through his addressbook looking for the good Doctors number. As he did so he gently inquired, "So? Do you need anyone to come with? I can clear my schedual if you need."

Likewise I'm game to try my hand against whoever. Though I'm not sure if Ace can get past Atlas' impervious even with power attack.

A bleary eyed Ace Danger slid silently from bed as he saw who the caller ID was krept into the front room as he answered staring out over the city from the top of Pyramid Plaza. "Your wish is my command mon cheri." Ace slyly replied as he flicked on the coffee maker and settled onto the couch.
-
Ace grinned at Atlas' comentary. "Don't worry about it the bigger they are the harder they fall." He teased speaking to Grim out of the side of his mouth in mock secrecy. In response to Jacks question he shrugged, "I think the name of the game is keep in entertaining. Though I believe tradition dictates no weapons." Adding with a wink, "Of course theres always room for a little trickery to get the crowd fired up."

Ok Dead Head gets an HP for the Cultist acting out of initiative order. And I'll need a DC 22 will save VS Mind Control from him. Avenger is Up
-
Dead Heads Swinging shovel made short work of the zombies immediatly between him and the foolish cultist who had grabbed the amulet. Seeing Dead Head bearing down on him his eyes grew wide and he thrust the amulet towards the protector of the dead fell incantations dripping from his lips, as Dead Head broke from the mass of zombies a beam of sickly Black light lanced out from the amulet. The Cultist stood hautily, "You are mine now zombie, the Master will be pleased." he sneered.

Well I don't think you'll be able to manage a direct transfer of by the book templates into summons. firstly some of the book template characters break caps or other rules (or house rules) and secondly you are basically talking about summoning a character just as powerfull as you, conceptually that is not viable as their is a cost associated with flexability to be able to pull out exactly what you need at a given time (even if based on templates) is too much. Ideas along these lines however woudl be to have your character "switch places/bodies" with the other people and spend the majority of your points on something like Shapeshift, to represent that switch. Another option along the same lines would be to use the normal identity drawback and have your "super" form have the shapeshift power and a low end minion power representing the "actual" character. Thus you throw most of your power into bringing over the "summon" and are easily dispatched (that too can be a weakness or complication of some sort). Regardless I feel that the best way to handle the issue is to use variable powers of one kind or another. This all assumes that you're only summoning one at a time. Summoning more than one at a time just isn't going to be workable at anything like equal PL.
-
Yea what you actually want to be able to summon is the key. You can also create the summon as the character and the summoner as a minion if the summoned thing is the powerfull one.
-
Dead Head is still up. I thin kwe got caught in the holiday pause ;)
-
Well unfortunately as a large PbP game we aren't able to give the personal attention to summon that normaly is needed in table top to keep summon reasonable. THus we are left witht he nessecity of our somewhat arbitrary summon house rules. Might help to know what your main idea for this summoner is and how it might be workable in the format of this game. Summon as a main power is a bit rough though as really the rules are designed around your summons being more about supporting your character rather than functioning as the primary force the character cna bring to bear.

Ace quietly returned the assorted greetings from associates new and old, laughing softly to himself at Colts unneccisary subtlety, and smileing wide across the room to Elena as her mental voice filtered into his head, 'I would do nothing less.' his thoughts replied some how manageing to carry sarcasm even across the mental connection. He watched as Taylor and Jack glided across the dance floor with a slight smile, if nothing else they were happy right now and in the end he knew better than most that the present was to be savored, the future would come in its own time. Ace understood better than anyone exceptign perhaps Elena what these two were in for in the future but no matter what they were indeed deeply in love at the moment, or as close as Jack could manage at least. He moved to greet Elena more properly with Moira still on his arm as the couples first dance came to an end, "Ms. Guerrero, This is Moira Morley, Moira, this is Elena Guerrero, One of the hardest working young ladies I've met in a long time." He added with a nod to her sudden departure and return.

"No, no pamphlet." Ace replied with a soft laugh. "Its my understandign from consulting with some very knowledgeable folks that once the Invasion was prevented everything was reset." He explained casually. Ace gently guided Jack to the remainder of the group and continued, "Some were more buffered from the temporal shift than others, so in truth you never actually died, though to your perception you certainly did." Ace smiled at the younger Hero, "As for advice I suggest you avoid saying anything about what you may or may not have seen while dead people get very particular about their opinions on the afterlife." Ace shot Jack a quizical look to ensure the young man didn't have any further questions pauseing before they had joined the ranks of hte other fighters.
-
Ace artfully guided the beautiful Ms. Morley through the growing crowd to greet the guests of honor. "Little Taylor Chun all grown up," He said as he embraced the young bride planting a quick kiss on each cheek, "It seems like only yesterday you were sitting at Harrys knee asking for another story before bed." He continued playing to his role as family friend with casual ease. "I think you've met Moira before." he added as he presented hid date of the evening and turned to Jack, "And Jack Faretti you lucky dog, you best take good care of our little Taylor." he joked with a genuine seeming smile as he took Jacks hand in a firm grip, "We wouldn't want to have to come after you." Ace continued with a jovial wink. To the casual observer nothing more than good natured ribbing of the newlyweds by an old family friend. But Jack could easily see the steel in Aces eye as he spoke and knew the comment to be one hundred percent heartfelt ont he part of the imortal adventurer.
-
Ace cocked an eyebrow at Jacks sudden distraction. Fulcrum had made a bit of a name for herself, and with the rumors flying about the costume it certainly wasn't a surprise that people were a little taken aback. Ace felt that if the scrap of fabric gave her the confidence to use her abilities for justice and right she deserved it. Inspiration could take many forms after all. "I like to say I'm too pretty to die." Ace said with a quick wink trying to get the conversation back on track before the young heroine was scared off by all the attention.

Yea I think complication is the way to go there. Basically any time you use your variable descriptor for a fire effect it is instead hellfire. Most of the time it really wouldn't have any real negative to it but in special circumstances it might render your blade ineffective or otherwise problematic (say a demon who is immune to hellfire but not fire or infront of those who can recognize the demonic nature of the flames) Doesn't really do enough to be worth a drawback. Another option that would work as a drawback is to have some kind of holy ground or similar power loss on one or more powers, as if certain magic powers are now tainted with infernal magic. Then you might have Jack try and purge/cure the "taint"
-
"In the flesh." Ace replied with a over the top bow and florish. He casually examined the young hero and added, "And you would be Jack of Blades. You've earned quite a name for yourself in the Southside." Ace hoped this didn't have anything to do with the young man and his fellow Jacks' Tournament as some of the others had a rather poorer reputations than the gentleman before him, "Should we be expecting your fellows?" Ace inquired curiously always perfering to know if things might get a bit chaotic.

I think the issue with two characters in one thread comes out of post counting issues. If you can find a Ref willing to deal with the difficulties of counting two chars in one thread its probably not an issue. Another option is perhaps to just count all the posts for one char or the other but I'd have to check with the other refs if thats kosher.

Showing up just late enough for his entrance to be noted but not so late that it woudl disrupt the reception Ace Dangers custom Bently came to a gentle stop in front of the hall. He sprang from the vehical resplendant in his white tie atire and handed the somewhat astonished valet the keys with a wink, "Take good care of her she's a personal gift from the Queen." With a quick step he rounded the car and craked the door gently helping the stunningly beautifull Moira Morley from the passenger seat. He took the young goddess' arm and slowly escourted her into the hall itself pausing briefly to shake Taylors fathers hand and press a quick kiss on each of her mothers cheeks.

Looks that way. Always good to end on good terms at least ;)

Ace's eyes slitted dangerously at Jacks accusation, a sign perhaps that the barb had stung. He waited through Scarabs exposition somewhat mollified that someone at least understood his concerns even if they dismissed them. When he spoke it was in a much more serious tone, "You're right Jack I should focus on the real issue at hand." He turned to the rest of the group, "My concerns about Jack go far beyond his day to day behavior, He doesn't commit any of those crimes now, and while I think some of you are too quick to forgive those past transgressions, my true issue is with the dismissal of his daily struggle not to fall to his baser instincts." He glanced around at all of them, "You can trust him to fight but I have seen little to convince me that anyone is actually watching to ensure he doesn't stumble again. Taylor likely, I hope, watches for missteps but none of us can watch him at every moment and personally I would rather prevent a crime than avenge one." Ace turned to Jack once more, "I'll leave it at this Jack. You have done much to redeem yourself and fight the nature of what you are. For that I have not turned my resources to your imprissonment or destruction, why I have carried your secret in good trust." He hoped the others understood precisely what a stretch that had been for Ace. "But I don't trust your ability to fight it forever, I don't honestly even trust your ability to comprehend forever."

So should we pause to give Scarab a chance to respond to all this bickering or just plow on since Shaens availability is hazy?
