There was a brief flash of light, and Avenger was stunned for a moment his mind growing foggy. Woman infront of him leaned back into him, "ooooh, you know what that voice does to me." The thugs collapse with a satisfying series of thuds as Avenger lays into them. However it lookes as if they managed to get the door of the warehouse open before he set into them. He can see a well lit stair leading down and terminating in another door, deffinately not the norm for a warehouse. What exactly had these thugs sumbled upon in their clumsy robbery attempt? The mystery was very engaging even if a bit beyond Avenger normal antics.

At the first lightning fast strike the huge thugs eyes began to roll back into his head but with a mighty shake he throws off the effects of the blow and slowly turns on the man who has assaulted him. Meanwhile all hell breaks loose as the enforcers ready their weapons and open fire in the direction of the intruder in their midst. Others closed in around James and Angel shouting "Get down!" And "This way! Lets get you out of here" The bullets whiz past as silent as they are harmless. The oversize brute lunges at Avenger, his hands closing around him with a vise like grip just before he was able to squirm out of the way. He pulls Avenger in close and gives him a wide grin as he begins to squeeze the struggling hero. The remaining mobsters split thier attention between grabbing their dazed victim and prepareing for any further trouble.

Brutes action: Initiate Grapple Attack roll for grapple (1d20+8=27) and the grapple check Grapple Check (1d20+ 24=27) Mobsters action: 5 grab Silencer and begin muscleing him away. Remaining 5 ready actions to attack the next surprise guest to show up.
