  1. As the others rushed off to change Mike shrugged and stepped up as quickly and quietly as he could to catch up to Erin. "So should one of us check the other entrance? Make sure they aren't just running off?" He asked. Tactics and direction were usually left to Mark and Alex but he figured consensus could at least make up for some lack of skill. He eyed Erin questioningly it sounded like something Mark would suggest but he wasn't about to go off witho ut at least some one knowing what he was doing if not conferming it was a good idea.
  2. Mike stared blankly at from Chris to Eddie, "Less to lose? Knocks me back?" He said questioningly, "What do you mean by that?" Was he actually so dense that he didn't understand what they were suggesting he do? Hard to say on some level he did of course but he also felt he had just explained why he didn't need to do that, this whole scenario left Mike more than a little confused and uncomfortable.

  5. I can go either way myself. Though we are a bit on the heavy side numberswise for a fight. 6 people not counting NPCs in a fight can take a long time to resolve.

  7. The young Prophet seemed to be handling himself well enough no need to pry further in Aces opinion. She was harmless and cute and not connected enough to really cause a problem if it ended poorly so Ace felt his duties to the Prophet clan were well taken care of. As the dance drew to a close he approached some of hte closer friends of the host and began making descrete inquiries about the presence of Mr. Jack Farretti.

  10. Ace Danger edits. Ok Ace has been an exercise in me trying to do too much with one character and in the process really not being so hot at most things. This is a pretty major revision. I Scrapped the Mind Tricks array and replaced the basics therein with skills and feats, moving him more to the realm of badass normal but Immortal I also toned down the resurection to once a week because frankly its mostly an RP effect anyway. Points freed up went to improving skills and feats and base combat abilities. I also reworked some of the Equipment droping useless features(Dock, Hanger) off the HQ to get some equipment for use while actually adventureing. His combat stats have moved more in the direction of martial artist and he actually manages to hit caps now at least in unarmed/surprise attack (pretty easy to maintain with fient). He also now has more feats to take advantage of his Charisma and has alot of options available to him in a more support/leadership role. Caps get adjusted to +5 Attack, -5 Save DC; +2 Defense, -2 Toughness.   11. Mike Hadn't bothered picking up the pace much as Alex rushed ahead. She was always eager for new things to learn it was cute really but despite his intrest in the class he couldn't bring himself to rush to any school function, he was still a teen boy after all. He strolled into the room a few moments after Alex and offered Dark Star a friendly wave, he had wanted to say more about how his advice before had helped but thought it would just sound cheesy so settled for a wave and smile as he took his seat next to Alex. Mike pulled out an already battered looking noatebook, how he managed to do that with in the first week of classes was anyones guess, and fished a pen from his pocket doodling in the margins as he waited for the rest of the class to arrive.
  12. So I have a question, If we do a major update to a character, drop some powers add up to otherthings etc. Should we post the rivision somewhere other than the Char edit thread or is it preffered to keep all edits there no matter how major?

  14. The first dance of the night was a nice slow waltz, not to difficult if one knew the basics and easy to stay lost in the crowd. Many young mafiosos on the make were trying thier hand to fair effect though the more trained dancers of the crowd still stood out quite a bit. By the time Ace had made his way through the crowwd and caught sight of young James Prophet the waltz was about to begin. It took minimal effort to find an affable partner and he took to the floor to get a better look on who he had loked his eyes on so far. Well he certainly had good taste Ace had to admit, and if memory served Ms. Marks would not be a concern for his family either. Just in case however he kept an eye out. It was interesting to see just who would turn out to an event like this. He still needed to find out exactly why Jack was here, as far as Aces inquirys went he didn't seem to have any signifigant Mob ties. At least not directly.
  15. anything not in M&M 2nd ed or Ultimate Power is on a case by case basis. Warriors and warlocks feats have been allowed but in a pretty limited fashion so don't bank on it. Asking here before you use it is a good idea.

  20. Can't say that I can answer that. Might have been a descriptor for the cosmetic damage and its still structurally sound.
  21. Actually no real damage. maybe some cosmetic (Shattered glass, scorched stone, toppled statuary, etc) but it was a non-lethal blast you need to do lethal to damage objects.
  22. I hate the preponderance of ability and skill replaces GR puts in this game personally. LEts just buy a buncha feats and a 40 int to base everything off of YAY
  23. How far is it to the front area where the big boom happened?
  24. Really withstand damage is signifigantly worse than the normal trade offs with regards to balance. With withstand damage you can trade off for toughnes against normal attacks but retain your defense vs. exotic attacks. So you only suffer the penalty when it will benefit you. Mecha and manga looks to be a good book for running an anime style game. Since we are not its really quite broken and ill fitted for FC
