Fa' Rua smiled at the quiet flirtation biting her lip appreciatively but being careful not to expose more of their relationship to the other agents in the moment. The city had seemed sprawling on her approach and the low buildings dotting the relatively open terrain seemed quite luxurious to one raised in the confines of a mining station. She doffed her gloves and clipped them to the sling now holding her helmet as she entered the rear of the mansion with a purposeful stride. She took Judys hand in a firm confident grip, "It is an Honor Ju'Deth." She intoned respectfully her voice lilting on the syllables of the name in odd cadence. Her eyes played across the other guardians and could tell this was a ward of some import to the Terran authorities. "I hope we are able to answer some questions for you Ma'am." she indicated as she released the hardcase on her back and typed in the code to release the seal. She pulled a hand held scanning device from the container and gestured to it with her free hand, "My vessel above is gathering background readings on your homeworld." she explained perhaps more for the others than Judy herself. "If you are able to generate an energy locus we should be able to filter out the background noise to find out more about the origins of your condition." She glanced to Ashley to confirm she wasn't at risk of revealing too much. Then back to Judy as she activated the device and began taking readings and transmitting them to the shipboard systems for analysis. "When you are comfortable Ma'am."

Fa'Rua somewhat shamelessly looked Ashley up and down as she approached distracted enough by the attractive woman in a suit that she paused briefly at the offered name. "Ah-Agent Geeooorge, of course." She replied catching on to the false name as she regained her composure. Her voice was still a bit husky from the thrill of the descent and chill fall air but held tones of unplaceable foreignness in the the accented english she spoke. "I believe the phrase is any landing you walk away from yes?" she was unclear on some pop culture reference but had put in some study on cultural touchstones ahead of the visit. The ceramics of her suit were rapidly venting their heat into the air around her leaving a faint heat shimmer that was rapidly fading as the suits systems cooled the high tech materials. She approached Ashley with a genuine smile and tapped the hard case on her back, "I have the requested equipment right here Agent." she suggested and looked over her shoulder toward the house questioningly. "The Lor Republic is of course more than happy to offer it's aid in this matter." She played it off as the professional meeting Ashley certainly was trying to make it appear to be. None the less as she drew close she dropped to a whisper, "Ok this outfit is definitely going in the memory banks."

"I'm certain this is not protocol Fa'Rua." Jolan scolded beleagerdly. He also was fully aware that was hardly going to stop his sisters hair brained scheme to sneak out of diplomatic duties for some kind of tawdry 'hook up'. "I'm a scout. I'm scouting." She replied clapping him on the shoulder, "You just dock with the station catch a ride to their liberty hall or whatever it's called and do your make nice give them the gift basket and I'll meet up with you there before anyone notices." The scheme earned not but a frown from the more by the book sibling. "Though wisdom may fall upon deaf ears ..." he quoted the liturgies only to be cut off as she palmed the airlock seal shutting the door and starting the pressure cycle. Fa'Rua pointed at her helmet as she locked it in place shaking her head to indicate she couldn't hear and as the door behind her opened she backflipped out into low orbit and with a nudge of thrusters began her descent into the atmosphere too small a target for most any ground based radars to even note her presence no less trajectory. Some amatuer astronomers perhaps caught the flare of her re-entry burn and noted it in a log somewhere, but little else to mark her passage as she hurtled toward the glowing lights of Freedom City. Firing her jump jets as she came in close she arrested her descent a scant few hundred feet from the surface and with a moments concentration folded the space between and landed lightly on the balls of her feet in the spacious backyard. For the time being she ignored her twins droning scold. He'd grow distracted once he docked regardless. Checking her suits HUD she confirmed this was the agreed upon location and released the fastenings on her helmet tucking it under one arm as she shook her hair free with a self satisfied smile and approached the house.

Kanunu staggered a step back under the force of the blow but held his feet shaking it off as he raised his guard once more. "Bruh I don't need help to deal with you." The big Hawaiian planted his feet in a broad stance and swept his arms in a wide wave like motion as the water from the broken hydrant pooled around dinostroyers feet. "Going up!" he shouted as he raised his arms and at his command formed a powerful jet to launch the overgrown villain skyward. Though the villains mass left him moved but little he was swept from his feet, "Never skip leg day."

It also has the knockback extra on it so he'll have a KB 18 effect as well (KB distance 18-KB resistance on the progression chart) I'll get my IC up when I'm home tonight.

Fa'Rua knew it was an ask, but was pleasantly surprised when it paid off. Thank you. She replied earnestly. And I'll hold you to that, play your cards right I'll hold you to more ?

Sagrado Corazon eye'd Cheval as he spoke and murmured something in Spanish under his breath blushing ever so slightly as he realized it had been out loud and hurriedly spoke up to cover hoping none of them had picked up on his words. "I've heard the name, the stories don't do you justice." he replied tone more relaxed than he was. Woodsman listed off their basic abilities stumbling only slightly on his own, "Lapsed." he answered and glanced to the others, "I," he paused the more astute among the heroes likely noticing a slight tic as if a faint noise had distracted him before he refocused, "I can tell people what to do and they do it." he didn't want to go much further in depth than that. It was loaded enough a talent without the surrounding circumstance. Settling back into his seat he listened as Speed Demon, Betsy and Persephone made their pitches nodding agreement. "I suppose it will depend on the mayors willingness to have her favorites slum it with us loose cannons." he joked lightly. He lapsed into a more serious tone, "Though, there are places where being government sanctioned means people won't talk to you, this might be better anyway." Chris noticeably brightened at the suggestion of financial aid and glanced to torque as she spoke up before settling back in his seat, "We probably should work out a way to contact each other if we're going to work together." he agreed and looked to woodsman uncertainty, "Are we?"

Undead flesh turned brittle and cracked, coated in the fel rime of hel itself the staggered giant bellowing it's rage at the cloud of freezing cold only to be bound in the stony grasp of the earth itself. The creatures immense strength strained against the rocky prison and fissures and cracks formed in the stone nearly as quickly as Gaian knight could repair them. They had only moments to finish this or the beast was free once more. Roots snaked from him into the ground and the ground into him healing and strengthening Cyprus weakened form only to be obliterated by the destructive defoliants of Fluers magic. Root and vine withered driving Tom to his knees. Wave after wave of concussive sonic force slammed into his undead form scouring dead flesh from the immense swamp zombie. The nearly skeletal from still strained against it's bonds rictus grin giving way to a soundless howl of outrage. When finally Velocity unleashed her supersonic punch she outran even the pummelling soundwaves of Gabriels assault and the gaunt cadaverous form gave way the bones exploding outward from the impact as the last vestiges of power animating the monster were overwhelmed. Across the green the zombies slumped to the ground and were swallowed once more by the earth when the dust cleared where Tom Cyprus had stood moments before lay only an oversized and filthy skull thrumming still with power.

Consider me entrapped officer I think I might have a way around the restrictions, mostly. she glanced at the door, trading on her brothers staff diplomat status was certainly legal strictly speaking if not in the spirit of regulations. Hey this is a favor for you, if it helps you and your charge out that's all good with me. Maybe spend some of that goodwill on a vacation ? A drive up that coast you were telling me about? Fa'Rua paused and sent a run down of the situation to her brother and fended off his incredulous reply. I can arrange an official visit and slip away from the delegation, any chance I can get a better name than Ms. Mouse with the stunning smile and pink tips?

Not much in the databanks on them. But what there is indicated that would be a particularly gentle one. The Lor pulled up what she could on the Stellarians and it was sparse. She examined the details of the system they as she considered the options they might have. Well energy beings, and never heard of one breeding with a corporeal, so nothing like a gene sequence on them. Fa'Rua pondered the issue a bit longer. I only have the basics on xeno biology, but if she's manifesting Stellarian control of the EM spectrum she'd have to be fused with their energy somehow. I might be able to get a read on her spectra, then filter for your star and tech, what's left would be Stellarian spectra or just noise. Probably, with some luck.

Sounds like she has it rough if hte government had to step in, glad you're able to get her some help. Fa'Rua did not have a full grasp of the situation but clearly felt Ashley was doing the best with a bit of a crap situation. She pondered the question for a moment and called up the atlas on her terminal to run a query on the scout corp database. Not alot to go on, most radiophiles are microbes, even the larger ones rarely sentient. Looking over the results she bit her lip and sighed, Well if she's like a clone or something someone might have introduced DNA from a radiophile. Rumor has it Stellarians leave their world and imposter material beings. So if she just showed up one day with weird EM signatures and some poorly constructed backstory it might be one of those assholes messing with you. They're immortal energy beings and get bored and toy with corporeals sometimes. I hope it's not they can be dangerous not malevolent just, as as side effect of entertaining themselves.

Well it sounds like she's where she needs to be thanks to you then. The Lor replied not aware what sort of state secrets they tread upon now. She spent a few moments checking the suggested information in the translation matrix after the sudden switch to nationalism. In the end through sudden topic changes where things touched on her work were not uncommon for her Terran friend, girlfriend. Rather than get hung up on terminology she replied with some amusement, Nationalism is hardly unique to Earth. she pointed out readily, The Lor Empire certainly isn't free of it. Sh added as almost an afterthought, And measuring a societies worth by it's size doesn't really jive with my views so be proud. Sounds like they mostly have the right ideas, that's rarer than you'd think

Intense, even on active deploy we get personal time. On Call? I guess is the best description. Well now I'm even more glad I caught you on so auspicious a day. The Lor added quickly. Just need to be creative in the labeling. You're not sneaking around sexting you're developing a Confidential Informant with specialist knowledge of potential threats I can't imagine having to go back and pretend to be a cadet again, that must be rough, it's good of you to stick with her even if it's the job, Someone of your skills could get lots of security work I'm sure.

Kam will be gunning for stage manager. He already has his own headset and clipboard

Fa'Rua added the photo to her growing collection relaxing back into her bunk a bit more as the days frustrations slowly seeped away. Hmm I'm going to have to try harder to get you to forget about teenagers anyway. She flirted back playfully. So how often do you get days off? It was a leading question certainly but she'd not had the mystery terran this unguarded yet. She liked it. I'm glad you picked up, I needed this.

Chris had been a bit incredulous at the mayor's offer, but followed with the others to the conference room as even if he was uncomfortable with direct government oversight he did see value in such alliances. He poured a coffee, heavy on the cream, ludacris on the sugar, and sunk into a chair legs curled under him and posture a bit closed off vaguely distracted and distant as they waited on the food and for everyone to settle in. Watching mildly disturbed as the mechanical girl pour rust in her cup and chow down on spare parts and the the axe came out to be sharpened by the local survivalist the young man seemed to withdraw further though he relaxed a bit as the conversation began, particularly as Persephone extensively explained her thoughts on the whole supercop gig. "Just a woodsman sure." He replied and rolled his eyes, "And Fleur de Latte over here is just a gardener." he looked around the table and shook his head, "I think we can do more together than by ourselves." he agreed readily, "I'm not sold on doing it at the governments behest, we were in Weston last night for our own reasons but that's where we were needed not patrolling the burbs for looters." he nodded to Persephone in a friendly manner and looked to the others, "I'm happy to work out ways ot get in touch and work together if you all want my help." he seemed uncertain that would be hte case but was putting it out there, "But I'm not signing up to be super cop."

Seems like the all the old bastards that couldn't deal with taking orders from a woman jumped to the scout corps when the Grand Nauarchus was named. Fa'Rua paused as she realized that might not translate well, Grand Nauarchus is head of the Lor military, scout corps is part of the colonial bureau, For the Preservation of Lor Culture and Tradition, sounds mighty good to the most backward jerks in the service I guess. Before going too far down the rabbit hole of Lor politics though Fa'Rua redirected to the subject at hand So you called it right, sounds like you've gotten your share, it's exhausting. They do let you have days off, well maybe it is my lucky day, or at least a less terrible one now. You certainly don't have to be alone.

they're everywhere. Fa'Rua might have been stretching the truth a bi with that in the broad reach of space faring species the Lor had encountered there were cultures of greater and lesser equality among the sexes in both directions but at the moment it felt universal. I put in for a promotion, She paused searching for the words in her limited english and the translation matrix, Search and rescue, fly in where the admiralty hotshots got in over their heads and pull them out. She was seething at the exit interview still, but the blind assurance that her anger was righteous helped. I posted the best simulator scores in a generation, have more stick time than half the flyboys they fast tracked in, they call me out on some nonsense about temperament and performance under pressure Nothing that could be quantified, the usual raft of subjective personality traits that were usually used by these types. I'm just so tired you know. Sorry, Needed to get that off my chest., How you holding up? The Lor inquired realizing she'd been monopolizing the conversation.

Kam pinched the bridge of his nose as Lulu gave a more objective if not factually different account of the encounter. "His customs are not our own it is a difficulty." Kam tried weakly to defend his roommate. "Though I can't help but agree that this approach is singularly blind to societal convention." He raised a brow curiously, "And Judy's response?" he questioned carefully, "Reasonable or no Leroy seemed of the impression she was enamored of the idea foolish though it may be." he explained with a shrug and slight shake of his head, "Poor girl has lost much, I imagine such an offer from one as, dazzling, as Leroy must have been tempting at the least." he frowned slightly, "Not that she is enamoured purely of his glamour but it undoubtedly colors the relationship." Yup he was definitely only half talking about Leroy and judy as he thought aloud. Catching himself in his ruminations he glanced back to Lulu with a weak smile, "Ah he asked my advice and was less than clear as to the source of the upset among the Smith sisters." he offered evasively. "He does care even if he has awkward ways of showing it."

Stomping through the airlock Fa'Rua slammed a fist against the close and cycle button and strode purposefully toward the cockpit. Her face was a stormy mask of seething outrage as she made her way through the ship. Jolan looked up from his console questioningly and sighed, "I take it then the interview did not go as planned?" He didn't need a diplomats training to see the truth in his words, nor a twins bond. He'd felt the oncoming storm since she left the colonial scout corps offices of course. So he wasn't surprised at her demeanor and had practiced carefully a response, "Fa'Rua such things always happen for a .." ""Don't you say reason." she coldly cut him off as she slung into the pilot seat, "Buckle up, I'll show them who can't perform under pressure." and slammed the emergency docking release. "I hardly think exiting the base without tower consent is going to improv...." Her brother didn't get a chance to finish before the ship dropped occ eht docking ring and she punched the engines to max quickly overriding the inertial dampeners to press them both into their seats. Over traffic controls complaints she wove effortlessly through the heavy traffic and shot free of the station making for the system rim as the computer started the jump calculations needed. As soon as they broke the heliosphere there was teh lurching twisting sensation of the space fold and they were flung thousands do parsecs to a distant lifeless system, "I don't want to talk about it Jolan." she growled as she stood and stopped toward the rear of hte ship, "I'll be in my bunk start the long distance scans." Flinging herself onto her bunk she glared death at the bulkhead for a long minute before flipping open her com pad and sliding into private mode. She flipped through the recent photos and conversations and let out sigh and thumbed open the chat window again. Hey you. You around. She hadn't bothered to check the terran time before sending the message. Nor did she wait for a response before continuing. What in the void is wrong with men. Why do they expect us to be twice as good as some square jawed jock still trying to figure out how to hold his flight stick to even consider us competent. Temperament under pressure my sweet ass. I'm under more pressure getting up in the morning then these old men have seen on their worst day. Sorry if you're busy I just needed to vent to someone who might get it and not spout platitudes. The messages came in fast and would leave whatever device Ashley had set to receive them buzzing enough to likely draw more than just the owners attention if she wasn't alone.

"A pleasure, you prefer Benny then?" Kam confirmed as the roomates made each other's acquaintance. The new student successfully guided to his room the Dakanan was a bit at loose ends, "As I understand it Herodotus has specific needs for his sleeping arrangements." He nodded to the Atlantean prompting hte young man to elaborate, "I'll make sure to pass on you were looking for them should I encounter the RA." he offered helpfully. As the new students broke off to discuss their arrangements Kam looked back to Lulu, "Did you happen to witness Leroy and Judy's reunion?" he inquired delicately, "Not to spread gossip, but I have the bare details and he seems most distressed." he paused uncomfortably, "I'm hoping an outside opinion might prove enlightening." he did wsh to cheer up his roommate, brooding did not suit the extradimensional prince. Kam glanced into the room to offer helpfully, "If either of you have further questions I'm right downstairs." prepared to leave them to their own conversation for the time being.

Sagrado is probably oing to pass on teh municipal defender thing but is interested in working together. Just not trusting of authority and not interested in being a cop. So he'll certainly come along for a meet up.
