She was not disappointed, "The honor has been all mine milady." Ace said as he bent to pass the barest brush of his lips over her knuckles. He tucked he number into his pocket and stood watching as she drove out onto the streets proper. Turning to return to the manor Ace made a note to thank Taylor for suggesting the fascinating young lady.

"I'd like that." Ace replied. He quickly showed her back to the atrium and helped her to load the Mankana bush into her car before bidding her farewell, "Until we meet again," he said while fishing a card from his pocket, "And if you ever need anything give me a ring."

"Well no need to waste time then." Ace said with a smile as he headed for a brightly lit botique displaying an assortment of flowing evening gowns. Upon steping into the store a handsome dark haired man stepped up and inquired in a thick accent, "How may I be of service today Monsuier Danger?" Ace took a seat and gestured to Taylor explaining, "The lady is in need of your talents Jean-Paul." He paused as the man puffed up a bit, "I'll have a capuccino." With snap from Jean-Paul another young attendant provided the requested drink while Jean-Paul looked Taylor up and down with a calulating eye. "And be nice Jean-Paul, she's a friend." as Ace spoke he emphasized friend elisiting a roll of Jean-Pauls eyes and dismisive shake of the effete mans head, but his expresion gentled none the less. "And what kind of event is the lady to be attending?" Jean-Paul inquired though it was unclear if he was speaking to Ace or Taylor.

Uhm I don't think he was doing lethal I think the Injury and the lethal damage was from the Explosion which AA forgot to say was lethal at the time.

"Looks like foundry tech," Ace said as they prepared to scout, "Might just have been purchased but be on guard." He glanced around quickly, "I can shield us from living eyes but not machiens." he said as he hid the group from prying eyes. He glanced over at Breakdown, "But quiet would be good." Ace advised with a wink and a smile, he had been young once and learned that the hard way.

So before I continue a couple questions, Should I wait on raylis or are we moving on? Are there any NPCs that are here/should be here and who should play them? I know originally this was going to include daedalus etc but that was when Markk was running it. We can have teh group split down to just the PCs pretty easily however so either way works.

Uhm Isn't Ronin still staggered though? If not disabled dependant on if the explosion was lethal to everyone or not.

"As I have said before it doesn't matter how well I know that no one is gonna hit its still squicks me out." Mike replied matter of factly, There really was no reason for him to be concerned as really when it came down to it his head was likely harder than any of the cross bars. He was going to further explain his point but instead opted for the much more mature route of sticking his toungue out at the both of them. They managed to get through the line quickly and Mike settled into the car and gently pulled the harness down over his head locking it into place.

Mike paused uncertainly when he saw the costume come into view not sure if he should cover it up before anyone saw. Of course that merely served to draw attention to his find. He shifted uncomfortably and kept glancing back to see if Mrs. Albright was coming as she would definately not be too happy about this birthdya or no. "So uhm, you want me to run this stuff back up to the attic Alex?" He asked uncertainly.

"Well we could stop for breacfast or move on to get you some eveningwear and date attire." Ace replied smothly. "Theres a number of good shops around and an excelent cafe just down the block." Ace offered his arm as he spoke and arched a questioning eyebrow "Preferance?"

Ace uses his actions to put on and set up one of the jetpacks. Flash bang blinds 3 of the remaining Sky Lord soldiers and all of the Mercs in that group. A_W take an HP for the flamethrower knocking out your force dome. Notice check If you hit DC 15 you notice some of the boxes near Ace and Phantom are on fire, DC 20 you notice that one of the boxes is marked as flamable explosives. 1d20+7=24 Aces notice succeeds. Notice check DC 30 (15 if you can ignore the smoke somehow) to notice 2 more groups of mercs moving in on the location. 1d20+7=10 Ace is Clueless Initiative order Mercs 22 - 20 minions Scarab 13 - 2 HP - Uninjured Ace 13 - 3 HP - Uninjured Sky Lord Soldiers 10 - 18 minions (First Wave) Phantom 6 - 2 HP - uninjured

Looking around Ace quickly grabs on of the rocket packs and begins fastening the straps around himself and fiddling with dials, "Always wanted one of these." he said with a cheeky grin, he actually seemed to be enjoying himself. Meanwhile most of the remaining Sky Lord soldiers take aim at the entrenched mercenaries just as the Scarab telekinetically detonates a flash bang blinding them and several of the mercenaries. One of the Soldiers however adjusts some knobs on his odd rifle and fires bathing the dome of mystic force in flames. As the flames clear Ace and Phantom are unharmed but the dome is no more.

well as the shadow accademy is but one part of Taurus's massive conspiracy for world domination and taurus but one of Hades servants on earth, I would question how much attention he actually pays to who is employed there :)

"Ah welcome good Doctor, I'm glad you were able to make it." He grasped the doctors hand firmly with a broad smile and chuckled at his commentary on the family business. "Well for so talented a mind I'm sure we could make some arangement." Ace added smoothly providing a card and mouthing 'call me' silently with a quick wink before moving on to the next introduction. Ace had encountered the Doctors grandfather in his youth but saw no reason to let a little crazed Nazi in the family get in the way of so skilled a scientist, besides h wasn't hard on the eyes either. As he came to the end of the group he lightly took Alexs hand by the finger tips and gave her a slight bow, "Enchanted Ms. Albright." he said with a comforting smile. Then took her arm as he turned to usher everyone into the conferance room. "Ladies and Gentlemen, I know your time is valuable, shall we?" he announced witha sweeping gesture to the now open double doors before escourting the young Ms. albright intot he conferance room.

"Well as exciting as the memories of a terrified ten year old might be to some, I think the cartoons and comics show a lighter side that the world needs more of." Ace said lightly, "And yes all of them were or are real people, good people." Ace looked over at Stesha, "Phantoms Great Uncle Huang has a doctorate in anthropology and archeology I'm told. He's had a long and distinguished career. I don't need to undermine that with tales of him, even under psuedonym, karate chopping an andean mummy" Many of Aces old friends and companions had moved on to the private sector and away from the rough and tumble days of his youth. "Times are different today," He explained, "We do things differently now, no better and no worse but deffinately different. I'm not sure todays sensabilities can really understand what we did and why."

I don't believe Geez3r specified lethal so wouldn't it just be 3 bruised no injuries? or was getting shot through the floor the lethal damage?

Mike lightly gripped the bar as the ride begane to move smiling at the clear joy his companions had in the ride. He wasn't sure what the thrill was himself but it was well worth it to see Alex and Erin enjoying themselves. He stepped lightly off the ride offer a hand to each of the girls in turn and offering a steadying arm to the wobbly Alex. He was about to ask if she needed to sit for a moment when she suggested to roller coaster so instead shrugged and said, "Sure if you're up for it, no need to bable to walk straight to ride a coaster right?" He teased mildly then headed off in the direction of the nearest coaster matching his strides to Alexs speed. "This one ok with you Erin?" He asked, not having a preferance himself.

"That simple huh?" Mike asked sarcastically, "No time like the present right lets get going the sooner we get this done the sooner we can get the others." Mike knew they had little chance of getting their friends before the others attacked the other base but trying couldn't hurt. He looked to his teammates, "Lets get it done, just like before right? Bust up some robots and break some stuff then we're outta there." From his grim tone it was clear mike knew just how different this would be, these weren't some punk kids playing games but trained soldiers and state of the art Nazi killbots.

"I haven't worked with the knights as a whole but I've worked with several of them independantly." Ace explained casually adding, "I'm a bit of a free agent overall, I've made alot of friends over the years that occasionally need my talents." Leaning back he explained how he knew Phantom, "I worked with Phantom when a bank we were in was robbed. We thwarted the robbers and traked them back to thier cohorts." He tastefully left out the rather catastrophic war between armed criminal factions that followed, Stesha didn't seem the type for all the gory details. "Of course," He added, "When you've been in the business as long as I have its never that simple, Her great-uncle worked with my father and I in his youth, Hong Kong Harry taught me chinese and some basics of martial arts."

Ok then to clarify the active villians we're all aware of are: Captain Knieval; Who just bashed down the security door to outside before being distracted. And Malice; Who is moving to engage the Heroes out front but doesn't get there till his action. Vestige is unconcious in an open but otherwise empty cell. Ronin is unconcious in a pile of garbage or something somewhere. Right?

"You got it birthday girl." Mike said as he hoisted the larger box onto his shoulder stirring a not so small cloud of dust as he followed Alex down the lader. He waved the dust away from is face with his free hand saying, "Its been awhile for these ones I think." Once they reached poolside he deposited the box well away from the pool where it would stay dry and pulled up the top layer of boxes to see what all they had uncovered.

Mike laughed off the blow, "Hey Erin deserves fair warning right?" he said. He followed the ladies to the tilt-a-whirl and was happy to do as Erin suggested they should manage quite the speed with the wieght distribution suggested. "Hey now." He said to Erin, "You have another outfit here at least." Deciding discretion was the better part of valor he left out that wearing the outher outfit might make a nice present for James.

Saundrine gave her a sly wink, "Got it, don't want to be indebted." She took a few steps toward the door then turned and whisperd, "It could be alot of fun gettingout of that debt though" While she clearly could understand her paying her own way she obviously thought it patently rediculous that taylor was not romantically involved with Ace, and at least a little jelous. She passed Ace and took his proffered credit card as she went to the front to wrap up the parcels. She well knew he wouldn't notice the differance if she charged his card or not. "I'll just wrap these up then." she said with a smile. Ace nodded and waited for Taylor to emerge, "Not so terrible is it?" He enquired with an amused glint in his eye.
