I'll give you a raincheck then, just this once. Fa'Rua wasn't sure if she'd pushed to fast but at least she got a good shot of the mystery woman's face, and it lived up to expectations. She typed and retracted several more innuendo laden replies before with a sigh resorting to honesty and a polite good night. It seemed that with proper motivation she could take things slow. Worth the wait, sweet dreams beautiful. ?

The Sun Dragons romantic entanglements would have to wait for another day to be resolved it seemed. Upstairs he led the way easily enough to the Atlanteans room pausing outside as Lulu and Ben arrived as well, "Indeed Lulu." he gestured to his companion, "Herodotus, Miss Lulu Beaumont." he intorduced and glanced to the student with her, "I imagine this is the Benjamin D'amatto you were inquiring after?" The well dressed man went down hard under Judex full body tackle. The priest could hear ribs crack as the man hit the cement floor and he was quickly locked in unable to move even if he had the strength remaining to struggle it clearly would be for naught. He glared at his visible captors, "Fine you got me call in the cops like a good doggie, so they can arrest you for trespass ." he taunted wincing against the pain in his side as the big man held him to the floor. "You don't get it, this place is lost your crusade is pointless." he coughed and went silent waiting for what might come next. He was putting on a brave front but Strix could see something in his eyes he was scared now as he hadn't been before, even with his guards still outside he didn't think he was getting out of this alive.

I would be duty bound to show full reciprocity for being educated in the ways of your people. The Lor smiled down at her screen biting her lip as she considered her next words carefully That I would happen to thoroughly enjoy exploring every inch of newfound territory just makes me a very lucky woman that has made good choices. She was playing it slow, keeping it coy and playful, but they were certainly heading somewhere the longer this line of conversation continued.

Such largess for one raised on mostly packaged rations seemed somewhat inconceivable. She had been about ot demure when she saw how commonplace such fare was on earth. Fa'Rua hadn't expected her to open up even as much as she had, so wasn't surprised nor displeased she'd taken the simpler route. And quite pleased her suggestion had triggered such enthusiasm. That sounds incredible, and very relaxing, even with crowds honestly. Fa'Rua spent enough time solo or duoing deep space surveys the idea of crowds was almost nice at that point. I mean, I grew up on station, even bathing and cooking was usually limited water use, but we did survival training in the academy. I'm sure I could figure it out. She had confidence at least, misplaced confidence but confidence none the less. You could show me how you seem like you know all about it.

Well at least you're easy to find with the lights out. The Lor read the descriptions of possible foibles of the whole power leech thing and laughed a bit at the image of being suddenly magnetic. I never really considered the downside of the whole hardbody thing , well at least I know you won't be accidentally porting out of my arms Fa'Rua sighed slightly at the later question, Nothing so exciting, I can manage around 120 meters with Line Of Sight on my own The Hopper's kitted out to boost me though so I can get interstellar ranges when strapped in with good navigation data. Still usually have to aim out of system to make sure I don't land us too close to a gravity well.

Fa'Rua wasn't bothered exactly though she had concerns So you know instinctively how to use their powers then, don't they usually take training? The Lor paused to explain. The Lor we have Mentats, sometimes induced but it happens naturally too, they need a lot of training to use their powers safely. She certainly had, her brother even moreso. I can, fold space, I guess is the way to explain it, move without crossing the space between, it took a lot of work to not risk ending up spaced or worse. She smiled at the picture sent in return, I don't know if it's your job or if you're just nervous, but you're very pretty so if it's the latter you shouldn't be.

Though I'm betting you're eyes look better without it, not that I'd know. she hinted playfully as she still had neither a face nor real name for 'her' terran She also quickly snapped and sent a new picture titled 'Gun Show' of her kneeling on her bunk in the classic strongman pose made perhaps more racy by being in a tanktop and underwear, though more coverage than most earth swimsuits.

Chris paced back and forth in the lobby long enough that between the threadbare hoodie and quiet argument with himself the guards were getting nervous. He finally approached the checkpoint and went into the building claiming to need a bathroom. He followed the directions and flung himself into the one of ht stalls taking a steadying breath. He'd stopped a some muggers and a couple bigots with delusions in the past few months since things had started. Last night was different, those other heroes were different, larger than life, literally in some cases. And yet here he was, and the Voice was clear this too was his destiny. That if anything made it worse. He flipped over the card with both numbers on it, supernatural specialist and shrink, he wasn't sure which he needed at this point. Finally he made his decision. Luckily he had some experience getting in and out of clothes in a cramped men's room stall without attracting attention from other visitors to the facilities. When he was sure it was clear he ducked out, now in costume and was shown in to the room with the other heroes. He offered quiet greetings to the others and nodded agreement with Persephone, "We weren't the only ones out there trying to help." he pointed out not referring only to the others that had fought the zombie croc, "We were all just doing what we could." He eyed Woodsman uncertainly, there was a certain tightly coiled readiness to the other man that reminded him of something he couldn't put his finger on. The tactical outfit wasn't helping his case. The young man turned back to the Mayor, "Your gratitude is appreciated but surely there is more to why you called us here?" He was stiffly uncomfortable with such an authority figure, and what their intention might be. -
I have officially been on tour too long when the idea of breathing air that isn't recycled sounds like a luxury vacation. Of course the company sweetens the deal. That sounds really nice honestly. She admitted after a moment almost surprised at the feeling. Oh put me on the spot now huh? She teased playfully. COVIC Station she finally replied, It's like a huge city inside; bars, restaurants, shows from around the galaxy. There are probably more cosmopolitan places, but it really shows what people can do together. Plus it's one of hte only places where a Terran can travel without becoming the center of a crowd of curious citizens asking them if they can shoot lightning from their eyes and punch through a battleship. Fa'Rua got hte impression Ashley wasn't exactly the type to thrive under that kind of microscope. There's a club on one end of the promenade, music's loud and drinks are strong, the kind of date that forces a person to forget about everything but the moment.

The well dressed man threw the now empty and useless crossbow at Strix as the vampire approached, a minor distraction, but it gave him enough space to move that he was able to ensure he took the bulk of the undead monsters attacks on the armored plates concealed in his coat. He was not as fast as Strix but he started dodging the rapid fire blows almost before they began, almost like an actor taking his lumps in a choreographed scene. "I don't know who you think you are, but this is above your pay grade leech." he growled firmly on the defensive as he shifted and rolled out of the way of Strix attacks, "Go back to beating up junkies for lunch money you're out of your depth."

Shaking his head as he demurred Kam replied to the Atlanteans question, "Ah no. Not my area of study." he raised a brow at Leroy, "I believe Leroy made the suggestion based on my having any scholastic interests a point where we are known to diverge." he teased mildly. The secret prince of Dakana stared at Leroy for a long moment at his roommates stream of consciousness reply and nodded slowly as he tried to parse all that was said, "Ah yes, She graduated last year but I'm sure if you're interested the school could put you in contact." he noted to Heroditus regarding Nicole. Returning his attention to Leroy he let out a small sigh, "I have my doubts now is hte time for the fullness of this conversation." he pointed out wearily glancing to Heroditus who was putting on quite the brave front not fleeing from the madness. "Clearly her sister does not approve, you are both very young for such commitments." he shrugged slightly as he tried to offer helpful guidance. "I know it not your usual method but perhaps in this case rather than dramatic gesture it would be suitable to try and understand where she is coming from." Kam countered as helpfully as he could manage, "They have lost much in a short time, you quite swept Judy off her feet then vanished for months leaving her quite forlorn." He tried to give Leroy a chance to piece it together then gave up before he got the wrong idea, "A proposal may please Judy, Ashley however sees it as another promise she doesn't trust you to keep, perhaps give her reason to trust you to do so." Motioning to Heroditus to follow he began moving toward the stairs, "Lets see if perhaps the RA is upstairs or at least allow you to see your sleeping arrangements shall we?" he suggested helpfully and nodded to Leroy, "You coming or need to get arranged down here?" he inquired

Looking down at the message Fa'Rua paused to consider a reply for a moment, until the note of uncertainty implied in the second response. No not at all. She fired off immediately. Well point of order I like women not girls she answered to try and keep things a bit lighter I'd like to say I met and talked to someone that opened my eyes to a whole new world, the whole torrid romance thing But there wasn't really a moment honestly, like there was a moment I admitted it, but that was long after I realized it really She considered her next words carefully for a long moment I think when you're in the boys club it's easy to say that's why you're not dating them

Kanunu rolled to the side as the cretaceous cretin swung at him evading the clumsy blow if barely. He continued to roll to his feet and whipped his hair back shaking a finger at the angry powerhouse, "Right then you being a rude boy can't have that." The big hawaiian moved in quickly bouncing lightly on the balls of his feet as he sought an opening. "Tougher than I look ya jurassic jerk." Kanunu countered and unleashed a viscous uppercut connecting directly with the saurina themed villains jaw with bone shattering force.

Fa'Rua looked down at the blinking notification on the dash as she settled the Hopper into a high orbit over the next world in another mostly empty system. She did a final check of the orbital dynamics and transferred the message to her console in the bunks, "You're up first little bro." she shouted with a laugh as she ran down the causeway to the residential area. She quickly shucked her flight suit and dropped gracefully onto the bed to thumb open the message with a smile she'd have been embarrassed if her brother had caught it. For you? I'm an open book. She flirted playfully.
