Ace smiled at the young woman "No one does my dear, no one does." He turns expectantly to the approaching manager "Lets see if climbing the chain does any good." As the manager begins to try and explain that the policy Ace interrupts "Yes, yes I understand sir but the young lady really does need the check to be cashed and it is drawn off your institution." Ace tries logic first knowing in the face of policy it will likely fail. The Manager sighs and informs them he woudl like to help but there simply isn't a way around the policy. As Ace opens his mouth to work his magic there is a crash as a group of armed men descend on jetpacks through the skylight brandishing automatic weapons at the crowd. They are dressed in blue and white paramilitary uniform and fan out with trained precision securing the doors as well as the tellers stalls with ease. One in the center apperently a leader calmly states "No heroics folks and we'll be on our way shortly we don't want any trouble." He completes his little speach and points back towards the vault and two of the others begin to move that direction.

From what I see he activated his Boost: superspeed(rapid attack) power before he enganged So even though he has now switched to the Strike power the boost is still active as it lasts like 11 rounds or something. So with that he would be able to attack everyone within his Rapid attack radius with his melee attack strike power. I'm not however certain how boosts like that behave when you switch to another AP by the way things are run here. Honestly its confusing enough that I suggest you guys bring in a ref to mediate. You're supposed to for any PvP thread anyway from what I recall.

Ace paused for a moment when her hand went to the gem at her neck 'Where have I seen that? I think recently?' He broke free of his line of thought as the teller finished her comments. "Thanks sweetheart, I know your just doing your job here, be a dear and fetch your manager for us real quick, thanks." As he spoke his smile lit up his face who could say no to that? As she giggled and strolled off to fullfill his request he looked back to Taylor "I can butt out if you like just looks like you kinda hit the wall here maybe the manager will be more helpfull. I'm sorry she interupted you before I caught your name?" He quickly queried.

Humming quietly to himself Ace rocked on his heels waiting for the new accounts officer to return from lunch when he took note of the young girls difficulties. Ah the beuracracy always with teh beuracracy in these places. He glanced around as the young girl fumed. Had he carried an account here he would have just offered to utilize it on her behalf but he was setting up a special project today so out of his normal financial haunts. None the less a smile and a few kind words could get you far even in a soulless beuracracy such as this. He strode lightly across the floor to where the young woman stood impatiently waiting. "Hi there, I don't mean to intrude," Ace treated Taylor to a heart melting smile "But I couldn't help overhearing your dilemma. Perhaps I can talk some sense into them." As the teller returned she got most of her way through her robotic denial before she noticed Ace and upon that stopped and blinked uncertainly for a few moments. "Uhm so yea I'm sorry Ma'am, corperate policy." she finsihed lamely.

THis is also a good point I'm already looking to upgrade Aces attractive to just normal bluff/diplomacy

Well if he was using rapid attack its even lower a toughness save as he couldn't use the strike 5 portion either unless he had previously boosted which he hasn't. Correction I think the incantation of lightning (rapid attack superspeed) was used previously just not explicitly stated as such, rereading the thread.

Heres the thing from my perspective if it just effects Bluff/diplomacy it is in fact a skill bonus not an attribute bonus. I would suggest modeling it as Enhanced charisma (Flaws: Limited to people who are attracted to you -1) for a final cost of 1 point for 2 points of charisma. Then its an attraction based charisma bonus not a skill bonus in disguise to get around caps. With your current charisma you could get plenty of it and it still represents supernatural attractiveness just of a broader sort than the feat gives and would work on all charisma based skills.

I don't think you get the Autofire damage bonus when you multi attack as it says "When attacking a single target"

I think metal overload was in referance to a lack of the meatbags getting involved not so much the soundtrack. I'm pretty torn actually as Giant Robots are awesome especially when fighting. On the otherhand I loath Bay on principle and was really unhappy with how the transformers looked for the most part in the first film. I'm not a decepticon fan to start with but it seemes like very few of them are actually transformers but rather just robots which while still kinda cool is not Transformers for me. I mean where are the robots in DISGUISE . This is just from the first flick and the previews so I hope I'm wrong. Most likely it'll be a netflix it movie as getting the baby looked after is a rare enough comodity that it must be hoarded :)

Mike shrugged off the comforting hand and continued to stare off for a few moments clearing his head. He didn't stop looking at the horizon when he next spoke and his voice was low though free of any real malice. "You didn't know, not you fault. Just try and remember that it isn't all fun and games this stuff gets serious real fast, hero or not we are not normal and aren't gonna be." Mike didn't want the other boy to feel guilty he really had no way of knowing what a tender subject it was but he desperately didn't want to talk about it any further. Not the most socially skilled at the best of times right now it was a struggle not to completely alienate this otherwise perfetly nice kid who had just happened to stumble into Mikes issues. To Alex Mikes pain was clear though why he hadn't stormed off as was his usual MO was anyones guess.

Ace had been keeping a low profile before his official homecoming but still kept his ear to the ground. He had heard about the menace this self styled 'captain' had made of himself and was gladened to hear he had been captured. He was less pleased to hear that rather than the usual secure courts used for super-villians the Judge had opted for hte less secure media circus route. He resolved to ensure he was in the gallery in case any trouble started. Thus Ace entered the court under an illusion to observe and if neccisary act. A quick call to a buddy at the ledger set him up with a press pass so he was fairly close to the action, such as it was, as he settled in and scaned the room for familiar faces.

Ace was traveling incogneto, avoiding the press as was his habit before his 'official' return to Freedom City. It had been awhile and he had spent the last few days getting back in touch with old contacts and making a few new ones while reaquainting himself with the city and its luminaries. Thus he found himself weaving his way thourgh the suburban maze of riverside, top down and enjoying the morning sun. The lightweight sports coupe actually bounced slightly as the shockwave rocked the ground beneath him, Long time vetran of battles both supernatural and conventional Ace was well versed in what that ear popping boom represented. As he commanded his phone to dial his special line to the govenorand dropped the car into gear racing towards the rising pillar of smoke. As a voice on the other end began to resopnd Ace interupted, "Morning Govenor, Ace Danger, Theres been a massive explosion in the Riverside district of Freedom City we'll need you to get the national guard mobilized for rescue immediat..." Ace screeched to a halt as he crested a low hill and looked down into the masive crater in the center of the quiet neighborhood "Dear God," Ace Danger had seen many things in his years on earth and it took quite a bit at this point to render him speachless.

Just wanted to check if I could add Ace in here or not. I mentioned intrest int he campaign discussion thread but we had quite a few people in there and I haven't seen his name come up here yet. Wasn't sure if Scarab or I nabbed the last spot.

Mike visibly tensed and looked almost pleadingly to towards the girls. Seeing they were hip deep in algebra he turned back to Eddie his face dark then dropped his eyes to the ground. "We don't use them all the time because we don't need to." He hissed through tight lips. "We can do things normal people can't, its our responsebility to see to it we keep control and don't let anyone get hurt." Mike looked directly at the smaller boy, "I'm ..." Mike paused struggling for the words "very strong. If I lash out or use that carelessly people can get hurt really bad." Mikes eyes glistened with moisture and unfocused as if he was looking at another scene entirely. "So no I don't use my powers all the time." Mike slumped against the tree looking away to some far off point "Most times I wish I didn't have them at all." he whispered to himself. The tall boys pain was almost palpable and clearly out of keeping with the questions asked. Mike took a deep steadying breath "I'm sorry, I have strong feelings on the matter its hard sometimes to ..." he trailed off with a shrug of his broad shoulders.

Well its actually a little fuzzy as none of us really entered the washroom except maybe Gecko but he came out before anything happened but other than that basically right

Mike looked at Eddie baffled for a minute then gave a light shrug. "I think that basically sums up the supper stuff about Alex and Erin. I mean I dunno about Erin too much we really don't end up using powers much actually." He glanced at his bag for a moment "Yea some of its Alexs and I like to read in my spare time, its calming and quiet you know?"

"Think nothing of it sir," Ace replied Ace nodded and added to Pompador "Mr. Summers is one of the good guys you can trust him." Ace looked Geckoman up and down cosideringly for a moment "I see, and your certain of this? This was Clarences doing?" Ace was old friends with the Beaudrie matriarch herself and knew well a scolding and worse was in store if he proved an embarassment to the family at so high profile an event. "I think you are. Well then take a note from an old man who has seen some things. Be the bigger man its the worst you can do to him. Laugh it off as the joke such juvenile displays are and enjoy the party." Ace smiled and leaned in conspiritoraly "I promise you he will learn not to make so crass a move in the future." Ace smiled at the vanishing Grimalkin and waved "I'll see to it ma'am." He said smartly before turning to the rest of the party once more. Looking at the various disgruntled parties he decided to leave it to Summers and his staff to clean up his students mess.

Ace winced at the burgeoning chaos, Super people came with super egos and it looked like some of them were gearing up for a super size clash. He had to get these people seperated and fast. His eyes lit on the youngest Beaudrie "Clarence! What would your grandmother say? The lady is distressed, be a gentleman and get her to a seat. Theres some nice couches where she can lay down through that door there." Ace paused for a moment then with a brisk clap added "Chop Chop, boy." He took a slow turn "Kids these days." He said with a smile. He strolled over to Pompador and leaned in close ignoring the looming Turbo-Boost "That was an error on a grand scale my friend and you're gonna be on double duty salvaging that rep now. You gotta hold yourself together or you're never gonna make it in this biz, you let a sixteen year old girl rattle you. Theres a private room just past the bathroom if you need to cool down." he whispered for Pompadors ears alone. Ace turned away at that point to start calming the crowd. "Consider him chastised folks and lets move on." Hoping the sentiment at least somewhat diffused, he looked to Geckoman "You OK kid?"

Mike shrugged and paused a moment considering. "I dunno really. I mean I think we all have done or have our schedualed now." He glanced to Alex and Erin "I would assume once you're fully enrolled like when they do an orientation deal they'd do it then so you don't need to make a seperate trip or anything." Mike looked Eddie up and down quickly and added "Course it might vary dependant on what you can do. Some stuff is more common than other stuff, If they need to design new tests it might be longer." Mikes answer wasn't very thorough and it was clear he wasn't really an expert on the schools methods.

Mike looked up to eddie mildly confused at being approached directly. Normally his oversize cranky bad boy act kept people away, or maybe Alex just stuck herself out in front before anyone bothered. He blinked a couple times as if trying to understand what Eddie said while he tried to remember if that was stuff they discussed or not. Decideing that Eddie woudl find out soon enough anyway Mike began explaining "Well, we all had normal placement stuff for grade level and all that us none of us went to traditional schools before coming here." He glanced over at Alex, "And some of us were a bit advanced for the standard high school stuff anyway." The big teen looked back to Eddie before continueing "If you were in normal school before they probably won't need those for you though." He looked somewhat uncertain if he should say more then decided there wasn't any harm at this point. "They also run you through your paces on powers stuff a bit." He explained "Ya know to get a better idea of what you can do so they can make sure you know what your doing and can keep a lid on it when needed."

Mike was lost in thought but snapped his head up when Alex jostled him. He looked furtively ot each of the other teens and tried to focus on what he had heard but not really paid attention too. He glanced to Eddie "Yea you'll proabbly have orientation and placement stuff. Despite everyhing else its still a school and most of it is algebra and histroy and everything." Mike was visibly relived to have the focus of the conversation returning to the relitively mundane and he even forgot to glower for a few moments at least.

Mike shifted uncomfortably and stared intently at the ground throughout Alexs' comentary. It wouldn't have been so hard for him if she wasn't so damn right, but as it was the whole arguement unsettled him. He glanced up expecting all eyes on him and was glad to see that was not the case. It took him a moment to remember that the whole thing had been for Eddie and not himself. He looked to Eddie then and spoke quietly for a boy of his size "Its not about one being better or anything, I mean who's to say that Bono isn't a hero of his own sort. I mean its not powers its what you do with them, even if thats nothing. But here you can learn how not to lose control ya know?" Mike glanced to Erin then Alex "I mean regardless of what you want to do in the end you do have powers and have to have control or its just irresponsible, people can get hurt," Mike looked at his feet and added in a whisper more to himself than anyone else "sometimes bad."

Ace exchanged Geckomans beer for a nice scotch on the rocks and drifted back noteing with some concern the altercation betwixt Thunderstanding and Grimalkin. He approached what remained of the group once more. Ace carefully positioned himself to bring the small cluster by Scarab and the remains of the group with Dark Star and Jack together "Gentlemen," He said with a nod before turning slightly, "Ladies." He smiled to Scarab and Phantom his eyes catching once more on the Gem at Phantoms throat. 'Where have I seen that before.' He thought to himself. He quickly however filed that away for later and looked questioningly to Scarab "So should we expect a more public presence from you now? Or more acting form the shadows." At the last bit his eyes slid easily to Jack before looking once more to Scarab.

Its a private party so actually no need for being carded. Really the Claremont crew more has to worry about being caught by the chaperones than actualy aquiring the booze.
