  1. Alright Strix gets an HP for his vampireness impeding his entrance. He can jump to the roof without alerting guards below but judex or thorne will need to pull the silver warding marks off the skylights before he can crash through. Grumble feel free to post getting Judex or both of them up top. given your stealth and them not really looking up I'm just gonna say the guys on the door will not notice.
  2. Initiative: 3, I am not fast
  3. Tiger may be a threat, hunting into the village outskirts. Sandman warned the others as the man explained his reason for being here and hunting the beast. "The tiger attacked your dogs?" he asked with some surprise, "That is unusual for a solitary hunter, livestock perhaps, but hunting dogs." he shook his head something didn't add up. The man wasn't lying but this was outside the behavior of most large predators. "Have there been other attacks on livestock?" he added with some curiosity this was not as straightforward a determination as it first seemed. He glanced to Ms. Grue then back to the hunter, "Predation is usually reason for rangers to at least move the animals is it not?"
  4. Passively observing the reactions of those gifted in the mystic arts Kam regarded the floor cautiously and watched Veronica invoke the mask as key. He was coiled prepared to act should it turn out to be some sort of trap but it appeared it was as it had seemed, a Key. "Unusual?" Kam replied with a grin, "In that there is a hidden passage to mystery and adventure in the floor of the ancient tomb or in that we found it intentionally?" he joked lightly and took a step towards the stairs into the dark cracking one of the spare light sticks and giving it a vigorous shake before tossing it down the passage to better illuminate what they might find below. The Dakanan proceeded to follow the light into the passage stepping carefully and alert for panels that might trigger traps or the chance of instability in the stairs as he descended, "Let us see what there is to be found."
  5. Alright to make sure I have this right Nightshade. You're using extra effort for a power stunt off your magic array. This will fatigue you starting on your turn next round unless you burn an HP to cancel the fatigue at that point. That power stunt you wish to use to construct a Boost effect. This boost is for a single trait, a damage aura with no modifications so will be 1PP/1PP spent on the power. The power you wish to construct is a damage aura, Damage (1pp/rank), extra: Duration(concentration)(+1pp/rank), extra: Duration(sustained)(+1pp/rank), extra: Aura (+1pp/rank). 4PP/rank at 8 ranks = 32PP so a rank 32 single trait boost effect. Correct?
  6. The rocky monstrosity staggered under the force of the blow unable to fend off the bears mighty claws. It struggled ineffectively in Jacks grasp unable to shake off the furious assault and found itself entrapped as its fellow had been. The other gargoyle regaining his senses enough to struggle still proved no match for Jacks mighty thews and despite it’s best efforts could not break free from the bears grasp.
  7. Hulks get no further actions so Jessica is up.
  8. Toughness save is: 14 vs dc 25 that’s fail by ten so is staggered and dazed Grapple check is: 21 so bound and helpless as well. You have both the hulks bound the less injured one you were holding last round shakes off the daze and tries to break free: 26 So he will not be able to break free even on a one from you.
  9. The cultists eyes grew wide as the hellish flames began to fan out from their target. The panicking cultists glared at the apparent leader for a fraction of a second and began to bolt shouting angrily, "You said she'd be traaaaaa...iiiiieeeeee" his words turning to a twisted scream as the flames overtook him and the others. All three were scorched and collapsed the preternatural darkness in the alley falling with them revealing the devils trap inscribed on the rough asphalt of the filthy alley. With their hoods cast back in the thrashing to put out the flames before succumbing it was clear the three were nothing more than dabblers in the dark arts. Likely not even skilled enough to know about Jessica or her bloodline, someone higher up had sent them, and likely created the gargoyles still battling Jack at the entrance of the alley.
  10. Round 3 Cultists 14 0 remain Jack 7 1 Bruise 0HP Hulks 6 2 Remain Jess 5 Uninjured 1HP Cultists are all down so Jack is up.
  11. Aaaand Kimo working on island time still: 4
  12. Reflex saves: 11, 17, 21 Toughness saves: 18, 24, 19 None of them pass the saves, Cultists are minions and will all drop from the damage.
  13. Lemme know if that's too much for an intro post happy to adjust. If possible gonna ready and action to use his water control array and the water from the broken hydrant to counter Sunburns next fire attack.
  14. Holding up a light blue polo in front of himself to look at it in the mirror Kimo frowned at the helpful salesman, "Bruh I hate shoppin' for interview duds ya know?" he lamented shoulders slumping slightly. His attention was drawn by the sudden honking as traffic came to a standstill. Hanging the shirt back on the wrong rack he approached the window as he watched the zombified masses abandon their cars, "That's no good." he murmured and glanced back at the attendant who was busily correcting his erstwhile customers misplacement. Kicking off his sandals he not for the first time lamented not having his aunts instant cover ID and pulled his tank top over broad shoulders dropping it to the floor next to his footwear before pulling the tie from his hair and stepping out toward the street as cars began flying. Catching a sedan who's unlucky occupants hadn't escaped the rampage he set it lightly on it's wheels holding a finger to his lips, "Run through there, go outta the back." he advised pointing to the store he'd just stepped out of. Kanunu stuck two fingers in his mouth to let out a piercing whistle, "You just remember you ask for everything." he boomed as he got the 'Upstarts' attention. The big hawaiian kicked over a nearby fire hydrant and boud to the top of an abandoned car setting himself in an almost dancelike pose readying himself.
  15. Maths all add up but losing that dodge focus put Valkyryja slightly under capped on defense. Might be worth dropping the armors impervious to 7 and bumping the protection to 3 to hit caps. In the interest of not leaving you hanging while I'm on vacation though APPROVED!
  16. Valkyrja: You have 7 ranks of dodge focus listed in feats and your combat block but only 6 in the alt form. Frárvængr: cost line on attributes is off should be 4 + 6 + 6 - 4 + 2 -4 = 10PP I think. You're paying for 8 base defense and have no dodge focus feat listed but have Defense: +7 (+5 Base, +3 Dodge Focus, -1 Size), +2 Flat-Footed for your combat block. looks liek it should all be base and a +3 flat footed you're paying for 4 will save and only have 2 listed. growth cost is correct but should include extra: Continuous as well as the flaw: permanent you have listed.
  17. So to make this clear and avoid future hard feelings. Time Travel isn't going to fly in most threads that are not about time travel. It getting shut down can earn you an HP here and there but you'd probably get more bang for your buck stunting the time travel when appropriate rather than having it there all the time. That said it's not forbidden so with that understanding here's your first APPROVED!
  18. I forgot to mention you should list the attractive bonus on diplomacy and bluff so I added that and the totals line was still in the wrong place so I moved it ot hte bottom of the sheet for you. All the rest looks good. Here's your First APPROVED! *edit* This is in no way an impediment to approval nor neccesitates a change but 'Morning-Glory' is a euphanism is some areas just so you're aware. *Edit the second* Or not approved will revalidate.
  19. Phalanx stood firm atop his stoney perch looking down first at his now costumed form then to his fellow heroes and beyond his vision being unable to pierce the dense fog was nearly as concerning as his sudden presence here. Both were of lesser concern than his link to Alex going silent, that virtually guaranteed he'd been plucked out of prime. His gaze finally settled on their 'Host' eyes tinged with sadness as he regarded this 'GameMaster' for a long quiet moment. "If you believe that is a truth you and your games can judge I think you lack understanding of what that means." he stated plainly his words ringing out in the odd formless space they found themselves in. The mighty paragon let out a deep sigh and lowered himself to sit on the rock as he watched the Game Master with slight disappointment. He smiled gently, "The Centurion was not who he was because of his power, heroic acts, or even final sacrifice." he explained with the infinite patience of a kindergarten teacher. "The Centurion represented far more," the broad shouldered hero looked expectantly to the Game Master, "He was hope, inspiration, and a promise of better things." Phalanx then fell silent and frowned slightly, "So if your intent is to construct some grandiose scheme to force your challenge get to it we clearly can't stop you from doing so." he glanced to the others with a shrug, "Or send us home we all have better ways to honor him than your petty games."
  20. Sandman held up a hand in a gesture of non-hostility. "We were not sent by the rangers." he explained somewhat guarded in his speech as he tried to make out the man's intentions. He spared a glance for the surrounding woods hearing the crash in the distance and narrowed his eyes, as he tapped the mental link Ms. Grue had wrought, The man is a hunter, the tiger his likely prey and not I think the threat. he warned and focused on the hunter once more. "We don't have any animals yours or otherwise." he tilted his head curiously, "You're clearly poaching." he sighed, "Not that we have the inclination to see you imprisoned over such a matter." he tried to soothe the man as he might. "What are you hunting?" he asked pointedly, "It might elucidate both what happened to your dogs and more of the greater threat." He was not certain there was a greater threat but it would at least explain their presence.
  21. When the margins were fully revealed Kam rocked back on his haunches looked over the section of floor with a wary eye. "Seems solid as the rest but someone has been here since the discovery." he suggested and looked up to his cohorts as the magic was revealed to them. "As ready as one can be." Kam replied with a nod as he stood and took a step back from the pad, "Any idea what it does?" he asked before they ended up transported in time or to another dimension or whatever else the ancient magic might do. He took up a wary stance and nodded to each of the young women in turn, "No time like the present, I have your backs." As how to activate the magic was quite beyond his skill set obviously.
  22. Sense motive: 21
  23. Does wherever he took us interfere with Phalanx's Communication link with psyche? And is the grey mist normal mist that his penetrates concealment/counters obscure vision can get through? Or is it like an illusion or fiat effect? Super-Senses 11 (Normal Vision, Enhancements: Counters Obscure 2 [smoke/Dust/Solid Particulates], Extended 5 [200 mile Increments], Penetrates Concealment 4 ) [11pp]
  24. Alrighty background and personality looking good, on to the numbers. Attributes: Looks good Combat: knockback resistance is halved and rounds down so would be a -2 skills: Looks good Feats: Couple things here. We're not allowing Martial strike, it's normally balanced in the masterminds manual with the martial arts pre-req which doesn't work here due to not using opportunity attacks. Thus it's damage you don't have to buy mighty for and isn't going to be allowed. I'd suggest replacing it with Damage 3 (martial training; Feats: Mighty) [4PP] (Training) with the point you scrounge from elsewhere. Also neither the power I described nor the feat if we had allowed it would allow brass knuckles to stack due to the rules on equipment bonus stacking so to hit caps you'd need to get up to damage 5 on that which might be a bit high for a training descriptor. You might consider a stun baton weapon or something similar that lets you leverage future tech to hit caps. Powers: Time Keeper Agent container : For your enhanced Feats we're leery of those benefits. Int based medicine is probably Knowledge: Life Sciences, and the other two don't map even that well to int. Isochonon: Your flaws on pre/post-cog and temporal movement are kinda the GM Fiat system. I'd recommend unreliable on the pre/postcog and that you stunt the temporal movement(allowing the GM to fiat and refund your HP) or work with the GM to start a thread in other times to represent that where needed. Temporal threads: Int for disguise checks is a no go as well
