  1. Gonna investigate the area with: Super-Senses 9 (Dream Sense; Dream Awareness (Mental) 1, Ranged 1, Radius 1, Accurate 2, Acute 1, Analytical 1, Tracking 2 Extras: none, Flaws: none, Feats: none, Drawbacks: none) [9PP] (Dream, Mental, Magic) Probably not directly dream related but worth checking!
  2. Kam finally arrived fashionably late, quite out of character as he was rarely either. The tall Dakanan also looked tired which he never was, his shoudlers slightly slumped and eyes ever so slightly squinting against the sun. A sure sign his extracuriculars had run later than usual. "Janus, ah got caught up with somthing, sorry." he appologized and nodded to his roomates not pet dragon, "Dio." He was dressed in loose athletic wear in greyscale for sparing with Janus though it was clear even through the loose clothing he was exceptionally fit and toned for a youth his aparent age. The secret prince glanced to the new student and falshed a welcoming smile, "Welcome to Claremont academy." Kam greeted warmly extending a hand, "Kameron Kingdom, I usually go by Kam." he introduced himself as he sized up the new student with a studious eye. "Secret Identities serve many purposes really, protection among them certainly." and sometimes it was to keep from starting an international incident on accident.

  5. Tiff if you're investigating go ahead and give me a search and knowledge arcane check with magic sense up.
  6. Red Lynx quickly searched the office then the small kitchenette in the corner to no avail. The clock was ticking he knew as he vaulted the railing to land in the garage below. They could just take the drugs but the Royals got them once, they'd do so again, he had to find something. Taking a deep breath he calmed himself and took in his surroundings. Chop shop with a veneer of respectability. Automotive mods, body work, repairs. That was it. He bolted for the draped plastic that approximated a paint booth and dug through the supplies coming up victorious. A bucket of body plaster, powdered, that should do the trick to casual inspection. With a bound he was up in the office again and set to work packaging scoops fo the material into blocks sealing the last of them as the roar of engines announced the Royals return. He slid the bucket to a corner tossing a filthy blanket over it and crept to the door. The gangsters were already at the opening to the garage, he retreated and went to plan M. A moment after Robin saw the Royals pull up she could make out a dark shape emerge from the small window of the office and pull himself to the roof. As soon as the music started up again inside Red Lynx leapt from the roof to a car and then out of the lot to a convenient alley, paper bag clutched to his chest full of the Royals former business plan.
  7. Hard to say with the slight slouch to their posture and oversized hoodies/jeans but they seem to have a couple inches on Jack and probably as broad in the shoulder.
  8. Sandman nodded in recognition to Terrifica. Records on him were sparse. He'd been involved in supernatural occurrences and disturbances of a cerebral nature around the city occasionally. His costume was lighter in color but matched the designs of an order of monster hunters long thought disbanded in what scholarly works they were even mentioned. As Frost greeted the gathered heroes and explained why they were here he turned to watch the draugrs speech with a slightly quizzical expression. When the reason for gathering them was revealed a hint of a smile teased the edge of his lips barely visible in the depths of the cowl he wore. "A generous invitation." he looked at hte assemblage with some curiosity before looking back to Frost, "How will this be done then."
  9. The brute nearest Jessica cocked his head as if listening to a far off sound for a moment and nodded. "the male is not needed" the hulking figure rumbled in response hooded gaze falling to the hand on jessica's shoulder. "only the witch blood" The other reached toward the hand on their target intent on removing it and freeing her to follow the firsts instructions. The movement was not violent but more inexorable as one might brush aside crumbs before sitting at table, utilitarian and devoid of any comprehension that the hand might not want to be moved. The first pointed into the dark alley, "witch blood there"
  10. You will both go before the big guys if you initiate combat, they're not authorized to throw the first punch.

  12. Elis Sanford was a relatively unassuming man so his arrival at freedom hall was unremarkable. He parked, plugged his car into the supercharger and ran his card in the meter. He joined the throngs entering Freedom Hall for business or pleasure another face in the crowd. Once inside he broke away to a sufficiently private hall and between steps called for the Raiment of Dreams and it was Sandman who emerged to alert the staff of his meeting. He was solemn as he was escorted to the telepad and shuddered slightly at the sensation of his being discorperating to be flung to the orbital station. Sandman stepped off the telepad after the ladies and offered Comrade Frost a nod of greeting. He'd not seen the man Draugr since the unpleasantness with what might have been Baba Yaga and remained uncertain to what end they had been called. He'd initially assumed another consult but the array of heroes gathered suggested this endeavor was not due to his specific talents. His soft boots left quiet footfalls as he stepped to the window to look down on the globe below, "Quite the view." he noted quietly, "Offers perspective." turning from the window he joined the heroes in their greetings, "I am known as Sandman."
  13. Alright three drive checks to see how the car chase goes. Royals get: 12, 19, 16
  14. As they realized what was happening the Royals boiled out of the garage cursing a blue streak and scrambling behind the wheels of other members cars and the panel van emblazoned with the gangs name over a royal flush. King himself came out last bellowing to his lackeys, "After her!" as he bolted for the van and slammed a hand against the side, "Go GO GO!" he boomed as the vehicle roared to life and tore off down the street after the fleeing Robin in Kings cartoonishly garish ride. They may have been not the cleverest of gangs but they knew cars and these streets and while the van was pushed to it's limits hurtling after robin the two other cars peeled off to tray and entrap her along side streets. The roar of engines roused strays to bark and howl into the night and gave enough warning to those still out at this hour to get clear of the streets at least though how long that luck would hold was much less certain. They were hot on Robins tail but at least she'd gotten them all out of the garage. As soon as the Royals had left the building Kam crept in behind them and was already at the top of the stairs by the time the last car was out of the makeshift lot. Inside the office he cast about for a moment and pulled up the bag with three tightly wrapped bricks of the gangs product. Tossing them quickly into a discarded to-go bag he set about tracking down a suitable replacement and the tools needed to make a believable replica of the drugs he was liberating.
  15. Mike shifted uncomfortably in the waiting room chair just a little too small for his frame drawing his shoulders in to not take up too much space. He scribed his information on the medical history form in a neat script and slowly stood to hand it off to the receptionist tugging his cardigan down more out of nervous energy than any need to actually do so. He looked back fondly at Alex where she sat and let out a contented sigh. Despite owning and running the entire organization she had of course insisted on not bumping one of the other patients off the schedule so they waited among the other expectant parents, mostly from Ashton these days, waiting to see the Specialists AEON had hired and trained in the eccentricities of pregnancies where Terminus energies were involved. Returning to his seat with care not to jostle anyone in the crowded waiting room he sat and absently smoothed his slacks while Alex contentedly speed read whatever latest reports required her attention on her tablet. Each time the door swung open his head snapped up as he waited for the name to be called. "Mrs. and Mr. Albright? The doctor wi-" FLASH
  16. Red Lynx was once again at risk of being caught staring, though this time it was not so innocent an appreciation of technique. Hoping it was before she took notice he peered thoughtfully into the garage once more before replying. "They should have filler there already, and packaging." It was a risk as they mgiht also notice the filler missing but this group was sufficiently disorganized that he was counting on that not being remarkable. "If not I'll improvise." and that woudl be the story of how several Fens junkies ended up snorting non-dairy creamer. He glanced to the car once more. "Five minutes." the maked hero replied after a moment of calculation. "Egress through the window on their return will buy me additional time." he noted quietly, clearly he was playing a numbers game but every minute Robin was on the street in a car chase was putting the mostl pedestrian populace of hte fens at risk. And that was even without risk of her capture.
  17. The Dakanan crouched in the shadows just outside the pool of light cast by the garage door. He surveyed the scene for a long moment and nodded, "Ten men in the garage, plus King in his throne above." he gestured to the landing outside the office the Royals leader had converted to makeshift dias. His voice was a low thrumming rumble just barely audible above the music inside. "I would estimate we could together eliminate them with minimal risk of significant injury." he shook his head, "Though unlikely to be able to do so without opportunity for King to flee with the goods." Besides as Robin had said taking out the gang en mass would just leave a void that would be fought over putting more locals at risk. "One of us needs to get in the office unnoticed." he murmured glancing to her then back to the room, "If they intend to split and double the cocaine they will need filler not just the shipment we interrupted non-reactive filler," his tone and phrasing was almost as if reading off a report on the way street drugs are cut as he accessed precise memories of research into the subject. "If we replace most or all of their shipment with filler they will remain in power here but weakened, untrustworthy, even if they get more." It was a solid theory if one could get into the office unnoticed and remain so while replacing the drugs with inert filler. That of course was far from certain. Turning to face her Red Lynx nodded, "I have a plan." he assured Robin, "You're going to hate it." he pointed one gloved finger at the ostentatious racer with a king of spades emblazoned on the hood, "Do you drive?"
  18. Device formatting was a little confusing so I put a bullet point in there and I noted the additional dodge focus you bought in the defense line for combat. APPROVED
  19. Watchdog With her unarmed she only hits PL 9 offensively, though does hit PL 10 with the fatigue and potentially more with mimic. I think her defense is wrong +5 Base +6 dodge focus would be +11 not +14 putting her defenses at a PL 8.5 without boosts from mimic. Daystar Points all add up but powers in Daystars final line powers cost should be 45 not 43 Also green chapter powers for shame AA for shame. Not actually verboten though.
  20. Character: Sandman Identity: Secret Interested in Team Membership? Yes! Specialty (if any): Mystic Realms particularly related to dreams nightmares, fear and madness. Issues with PR: Secretive and spoopy Still interested in getting Sandman into this
  21. Alright looks good. I fixed the array notation to be Array 8.5 (17PP) which is the oddity of how array is built as a 2PP/rank thing. APPROVED
  22. Backstory overall looks good and hits the key elements. What's the current status of the lab? It's a flooded wreck, is it under guard by the FL, AEGIS, Star Labs? You don't have subtle on his flight power so we need a description of what noticeable effects of him flying are, colored energy contrails, noise, bottom half looks like a tornado (probably not that last one) Math checks out, Array should be in the standard site format. Array Name Rank (2*Rank PP Array; Extras: ???, ???, Flaws: ???, ???, Feats: Alternate Power, ???, Drawbacks: ???, ???)[XPP] (descriptors) Base Power: Power Name (Descriptive Name; Extras: ???, ???; Flaws: ???, ???; Feats: ???, ???; Drawbacks: ???, ???) {power cost/array cost} (descriptors) Alternate Power: Power Name (Descriptive Name; Extras: ???, ???; Flaws: ???, ???; Feats: ???, ???;Drawbacks: ???, ???) {power cost/array cost} (descriptors) Which you mostly have just need to add the bullet points and underlined base and alternate power labels added. It'll make tracking the array a lot easier as it grows in play.
  23. Frankies pulse was rapid and weak, his muscles slack, eyes unfocused but tracking rapidly from side to side almost as if in REM sleep. With time Dr. Thorne might have been able to break whatever hex had been laid on the gangster, how much that would help at this point remained questionable as was how much he even deserved such succor. Strix was thorough and efficient in his quest and soon the flop house was empty and a twisted mass of broken firearms and paraphernalia sat on the table while the sewers carried away the drugs they had found. The addicts and few loyalists fled before the man in whites fury scattering into hte surrounding streets and buildings like the vermin they were. Word would travel, though their real enemy already knew they were coming, what happened here wouldn't matter for him but for those nearby it might mean a few weeks of relative peace before another strongman moved in maybe longer given how thorough the heroes were. Events like this stuck in the consciousness and criminals were by nature a cowardly and superstitious lot. Arriving at the warehouse it was clear they were expected. Floodlights spilled over the streets around the warehouse, the fire escapes manned with armed guards in body armor, better armed than most of Bedlams almost vestigial police force. Not as numerous as the rabble sent after the kids the heroes had faced before, but they moved like trained soldiers and were on high alert. All the doors were shut tight, likely locked, and at least two guards on each door. It wasn't exactly a fortress but a frontal assault would also be dangerous and noisey. Dr. Thorne's senses tuned to the mystical could tell there were protections beyond the mundane as well though exactly what was unclear from her current vantage.
  24. "It was a very slick flagstone." he defended with a grin and small shrug as he pulled himself to his feet with a slight wince. "I'll take it under advisement." Kam agreed with a wry smile. He looked down at Janus stretched out on the couch and shook his head, "I'm glad at least my plight can keep you entertained." the prince rolled his eyes and headed for the door pausing for a long moment, "And thanks." he ducked out before things got more awkward heading for his room to sleep for what remained of the night.
