Dipping in the waves slightly at her words he gave a casual shrug, "Always been strong swimmer, Eh!" Kimo replied in a slow rolling tones. "Go foa school an eriding." he explained his presence so far from home and raised a brow, "You?" inquiring casually to her own distance from the islands. "You just here ta visit? Or just da' kine?" he asked pantomiming her fiery entrance. "I workin now," Kimo explained gesturing to the beach, "pua hana bumbye tho." he added with the implied invite that they could catch up after he clocked out. Leilani could feel the currents shift subtley as he turned toward the beach, "Jalike?" he asked both an offer for a quicker swim to shore and meeting up after he was off duty shortly.

Seeing flaming human forms hurtling through the skies wasn't that unusual in freedom city. Certainly not enough to automatically clear a beach or anything particularly not a a warm summer day. The deep water splash down did however catch Kimos attention, Fire and water did not mix so well and they might be in trouble after all, and if they weren't they might be a threat. He was pelting across the beach from his tower torp in hand while most of the beach goers were just fishing out their cells to snap pictures or record the potential action. As he hit the water he took a deep breath and dove into the surf powerful strokes propelling him through the water at speed, not the best for maintaining a cover maybe but he wasn't exactly good about that to start with. Arriving moments after Leilani surfaced he did a double take and paled like he'd seen a ghost for a moment before shaking it off. As he bobbed in front of her it was clear she wasn't in distress, "Aloha." he greeted falling into island cadences by rote at her appearance, "You all right?" he asked as he easily treaded water in the choppy seas.

So Frost can beat Aces disguise check on a Notice 21 or better given his familiarity with Jack and ace as well as his mystic senses. Eric beats the disguise check with Skill mastery if he goes in the room and looks him over due to his familiarity with Jack and Ace. GM Post As Dimitri swept into the room two things became rapidly apparent, these were not blood dolls for public consumption, in fact if his mystic senses did not deceive him they would be painfully incapacitating for most vampires to feed from despite the comely and alluring forms and the heady scent of their life force hanging in the air as tortuous temptation, secondly seated upon the throne like dais amidst this all was none other than Jack Farretti Vampire king of Freedom City right down to the deep V of his flowy poet shirt and tight leather pants though in time something would seem not quite right to his more mystic senses. Upon his entry the blood dolls withdrew in horror some almost seeming to recognize him and the terror in their eyes was suggestive of a far less gentle Frost native to this realm. As a few at the edges withdrew as if intending to flee perhaps to get guards perhaps to simply escape whatever cruel fate they envisioned the figure in the middle of the room stood and stilled them with a gesture as he stared down at frost imperiously for a long long moment. Outside Eric and Talya could now clearly see the Avengers covertly storming the castle it took the skilled sneak and spy only moments to recognize they were converging on this very room like a finely tuned infiltration team. They'd be here in short order whatever the trio planned had better go off in the next moments or they'd have company of uncertain intent at best. Hilo is beautiful, the beaches and ocean is so clear and the waves are some of the best anywhere. Where is your home town? What was/is it like? Hilo's the big city on the Big Island, it's like most big cities even in Hawaii there are still the usual urban issues. But it's home and the food is amazing and the beaches and the girls and yea it's pretty much the best meth shacks and all. Growing up, were most of the people you knew similar to you, or were you somehow a minority? How did that affect you? Both? I mean my neighborhood was pretty much all natives even the white boys been on the island three, four generations back so they all like me but we not treated the best by the powers that be all the time ya know? I swim and play in the ocean long as I remember, but I remember first time I caught a real wave, board under my feet just carrying the power of the wave right up into me as I head into the curl, I wiped out and grandma thought I was gonna drown but I was hooked. What stupid things did you do when you were younger? Oh man, lots. I used to get in fights with rich kids, and Haoles. Worst though was the dumb stunt when I thought busting up an apartment block to get at some meth heads was a good plan. People get hurt more from me stoppin it than them dealing. The Family came together to help out the people that lost things in the fire and flood when I went after those dealers but they all know all about that. I added the Area notes to Tidal surge. Aquatic Adaptation is the name of the immunity power not not a related power feat the name is a bit confusing granted. 2PP for full suffocation immunity and 1PP each for cold and High Pressure immunities. Half immunity was something I considered but really the length of times he could hold his breath are long enough they won't be active in most threads so it felt kinda cheesy to scrimp on the point and this way he can participate in deep sea adventures as they crop up and if it's dramatically interesting the GM can activate the complication to have him run out of air. the High base stats I'll admit are mostly due to ease of formatting and not wanting to deal with nullifies and/or stunt off them so with no compelling reason to do otherwise I went with the easier to math and more readable base stats.

There are creepy creepers ghosting through the grounds toward the room here. They're in black leathers but you catch a glint off of a stylized white hockey mask as one moved through a better lit spot.

DC 25 Notice checks in case anyone is creeping around out there as one does... the curtains don't hide much but the gauzey material does distort faces enough to be hard to recognize for certain. The man's hair looks darker than Aces but then again Ace is not above dye jobs and the heavy shadows in the room add to the mystery.

GM Post Using the book as an anchor to tie them to the plane where Ace now resided was difficult but not time consuming. The Realm they sought was shrouded by potent magical protections to prevent interlopers such as themselves, without the book to trace it would have been a nigh impossible task even for an expert dimensional travel. As the room around them blurred and shifted from existence they felt once more the vertigo inducing lurch of reality coming apart around them then for Eric and Talya sudden lancing pain as the real they battered their way into rejected their very vitality. The pain was intense but brief, For their undead companion the transition was not so gentle. It was sensation beyond mere pain unlike anything he'd felt since his heart had frozen those many decades ago and intense rejection of the forces animating his chill form as statue and warding magics did battle before finally the trio were spat out into a dusky realm of eternal twilight. A chill settled into the bones of the living as they felt a world suffused with death and itself maintained only through vast channeling of necromantic power. For Eric the necrotic energies of the place were palpable almost overwhelming to his metamagi senses until he acclimated. Dimitri when sensation returned after the battle of his essence against the powers of this realm realized slowly that while the air outside was chill and Eric and Talyas breath came in visible puffs of fog, he felt, almost warm as his dead flesh rose to the chill temperatures of the surrounding air. Obviously a power that could suppress Hels curse/gift even in part was not to be trifled with. Through the large french doors to the interior they could make out a sumptuous apartment. Well apportioned with rich reds blacks and purples one usually did not see out of hollywood renditions of Castle Dracula. Through the thin curtains pale waifish forms could be seen draped in scant silk and lace as they moved from one settee to another to lounge provocatively. Amidst all of this a tall masculine form reclining in a oversized wingback chair in blood red leather.
