Alright couple things to take note of outside your questions. you have too much dodge focus listed in your defense and half of base defense (rounded up) is dodge bonus so your flat footed defense would be +1 right now. Since your strike isn't not mighty that isn't an unarmed strike technically, though you can just shift the attack specialty to apply to that strike. Affects insubstantial does not apply to sensory effects like super senses. Insubstantial is not invisible just able to pass through things to one degree or another. You should apply descriptors to the stuff out of the array so it's clear how they work and what counters/nullifies them.
-
1) Solomon isn't probably a problem though going for something more descriptive might be better since he really isn't tied to the legendary solomon at all. Certainly room to go the direction of a first last name kinda deal like Solomon Magus or John Solomon or something but that usually more of a no secret ID kinda deal. 2) Reading it Renegade came to mind and the two actually could complement one another well really not a bad overlap at all. 3) Well to start with the current flaws make every power in the array full round and distracting not just switching the array, if you want it to be just for switching the array those are drawbacks not flaws. Other than that as written you'll be hard pressed to make it far in combat, you'd have low mobility and be a sitting duck with no dodge bonus I recommend against it as you'll likely repeat your last experience of not lasting too long in a fight. 4) Animate objects is pretty much fine as written, they would all be minions so easy to take out with AOE or takedown attacks keeping it form being OP'd while still useful. 5) You're looking for create object her that's how you make the green lantern style force constructs, as written you grant a toughness bonus to everyone in the burst area but no actual bubble is created really. A Create object effect with selective (so people can fire out) and limited flaw for a limited shapes (like only half sphere or something) is what does the effect your trying to describe (with affects insub 2 if you want to block insubstantial) 6) That would be a detect ghosts(visual) effect possibly with counters concealment for super senses. You could amp it up with a mental detect that is more of a ghost sense rather than seeing them or just buy a counters concealment limited to magic or ghostly or demonic concealment maybe. Ghosts are only invisible if they buy the visual concealment power (even insubstantial ones are visible without it) so you just need a way to counter that to be able to see them. A specific detect would allow you to tell they are ghosts just at a glance even if they look living to normal senses. The house rules have a pretty good write up of how we handle super senses as it is a refinement of hte books. 7) I think the save varies on intensity but it looks like that covers it for you. 8) You can be in multiple threads at once you just try to watch that you're character isn't in two places at once, so if there are two fourth of july threads you can only be in one in general. 9) You start each thread with your base Hero point plus any gained for Luck.

Huang grinned at the Talking dogs reply as he started to comb through what kinda juicy secret to try to get out of the familiar. After the rather harsh former rounds he wanted to go for funny more than dig deep, maybe the most embarrassing thing they'd seen Matt do? However before he managed to get a question out Anibal rose and made hasty exit as well leaving less than half the party goers in the room still and what fun was hilarious and mildly embarrassing stories without a proper audience. He considered his other options for something just informative, an icebreaker to get things rolling again but that seemed out. The dhampir let out a small sigh this was going poorly in all the wrong ways, way more sad and depressing revelations than hilarious hijinks. He was about to just call the game off when the swing of the door and breeze of manipulated air carried the scent of Freds party foul into the room and instead he wrinkled his nose and stammered, "Do, do you smell that?"

Once he wasn't picked next for the game Huang jumped on the opportunity to step out and grab some snacks to bring in while Riley picked his poison and what not. He stared a moment at the spread and grabbed a bowl before backing into room with everyone else and turning to present his prize, "Hey guys I brought Combos!" he announced celebratorily because nothing kept a party going like a snack of stale cracker stuffed with the flavor of broken dreams. His timing was perhaps unfortunate as he missed the question and most of the answer his words trailing Rileys retreat as eh shrugged at Robins meaningful glare, "Uuuuuuuh," He murmured and nodded, "Alright then." As the dog spoke he snapped around to look at the unfamiliar voice and blinked, "Whoa talking dog, sweet." the dhampir responded with more curiosity than shock a the revelation and decided to go with it, "Alright alright cool, So uh talking dog, Truth or dare!" he asked with a grin and mouthed, 'truth' at the animal with a wink and nod toward Matt. HE was either unaware or more likely artfully ignoring ht retching from the other room after all this is why one had magic and ghostly servants. Not like the ghosts hadn't seen worse after Jacks parties before Taylor had forbid them at the manor.

And we're out of rounds for now.

So DC 30 - about the time the disappearances started there was a new clinic or something operating in the area. No one really suspects it because almost everyone uses it. Some kind of blood screening deal, but they pay twenty bucks for a single draw and you get a sugary snack afterwards. Mobile thing with a van with some happy sun like emblem on the side to do the draws in then people go their own way. You do not see the clinic in operation. DC 25 - Homeless people vanish without a trace. As a worse sign of foul play their stuff turns up in one of their usual stash spots like they left it there on purpose. Robin will also get the name of a specific missing person she knew, a junkie named Jason, she knows a couple of his favorite places to hide out and get happy and can search them for Clues! Kingsnake will uncover that there are two people talking to a lot of homeless people and are dressed like street people of some stripe. However both of them smell way to clean to be actually homeless, Suspicious! DC 20 - There is a new construction project on one formerly empty lot has been there a few months (longer than any disappearances or other signs of mischief) it stands out because it has really tight security which given the value of construction supplies and the neighborhood could be explained but given everything is kinda suspicious. DC 15 - Aliens! Some assorted addicts and untreated schizophrenics claim to have been abducted by aliens and examined, probed, had chips put in their heads etc lots of bright lights and like medical type stuff. This is also not an uncommon response from these populations to being picked up by health services or the police so no one thinks much of it.

GM Post Phalanx may not have approved of the methods bit it was hard to argue with results and results Kingsnake and Gauss indeed wrought from their interrogation. The helm came loose in Kingsnakes hand with a hiss of equalized pressure revealing the swarthy face within. Sweat beaded on the man's face the defiance in his eyes dying with the vigilantes grim proclamation. He dropped his gaze and hung his head gong slack in the tall paragons grip, "She knows who she's testifying against," he countered not quite willing to give up his employer entirely, "We were supposed to extract her make it look like a kidnapping." the mercenary revealed, "Deliver her to a boat offshore." he looked up to meet Kingsnakes eyes, "If we didn't take care of it her boyfriends employer had secured the services of someone who would." he rumbled fearfully and ghosted a whisper, "Orion." he shook his head, "I don't know the name of his boss." he said flatly, "But I can count on one hand the guys who can call Him in to take out snitch like her." If rumor was to be believed the famed hunter of men had given up on normal quarry to hunt supers exclusively, who or what could hire him for a job so below his standards was something to be concerned with.

At this point the Intimidation is in the heroes favor so I'll give you the +2 Sense Motive 1d20+9=13: aaaand you don't need it but still fail by 14 so he's gonna spill the beans! And yea he's helpless so removal of his armor is totally possible given time no need to edit.

Mike was a little surprised at her acumen with the menu, he really ought not have been Alex had long been ahead of the curve on most matters cerebral and mature tastes and epicurean knowledge probably did come in handy running a fortune five hundred company. He recovered from the mild surprise to offer a small laugh and smile, "Well that's quite a lot!" he insisted and shook his head, "You know what I mean, you listen to me, know me better than I know myself." he insisted firmly, "You let me make mistakes and make sure you're there and ready to lend a hand or ear when I finally realize it." he rolled his broad shoulders in a slow shrug, "And not just me, all our friends, and in a way everyone else with AEON." "Besides I like hte falling asleep on me for movie nights." he affirmed with a smile, "Makes sure I finish the movie instead of sneaking off to catch up on studying I'm not behind on or whatever else would distract me from," he paused and took her hand briefly, "From what's really important." Letting go he glanced down a slight color to his cheeks still shy about public displays of affection even mild ones. "And self sufficient might be pushing it my mom still did my laundry till I moved in with you." where now staff did his laundry which was little better and also still weird to him that people he never met were touching his underwear.

Go for it! we're only halfway in combat anyway.

Alright so we'll start with gather information checks all around. If anyone wants to try a more specific approach lemme know and we'll figure out how to handle it.

There was no shortage of reasons to leave the Fens, the crime, the fearful desperation, the smell, to name but a few. But the Fens was not a place people with other options chose to live in. People in the Fens were those who hadn't or more likely couldn't get out. This made for a kind of community all it's own however, you may not trust your neighbors as far as you could throw their heroin addled husk but you knew the faces, this was even more true in the shifting camps of the homeless. There was a cruel natural order to the FCPD sweeps disruptions and arrests, the hospitalizations and deaths, whether from overdose, exposure, or malnutrition. But no one just left, if someone got a ticket out, it was known, if someone got picked up for spooking the tourists too close to the theatre district, it was known, when a body turned up, it was known. So when people left the camps and it was not known, it was talked about. Robin first heard word later than when she lived among them but she still heard things on her weekly soujourns, Charlies drunken ramblings about 'snatchers' were a little too visceral to be the alcohol and smack addled visions of police or public health pick ups. And he wasn't the only one, there was a fear on the streets, people were vanishing, not to their own vices or the dangers of the streets, something was taking them and there wasn't a trace. The vigilante known as Kingsnake heard things as well, whispers in dark corners, Fearful cries in the dark, the city was awash in the noise of daily life but certain words and phrases stuck out, bore investigating. There was something happening in the Fens, the usual scum driven from their hidey holes by men with more training and better armed than the average criminal, the kind of muscle that cost serious money and secured serious privacy. Those with less privileged connections might never have heard the term, Labyrinth, but that hidden disease within the city was well known to the Kingsnake, they had after all in their own fashion made him what he was today. Only mentioned in fearful whispers like a criminal boogeyman or maybe more accurately a wrathful pantheon. Smugglers suspected they may be working for hte labyrinth though smart ones knew not to ask those sorts of questions, muscle would use the name ot strike fear until the mysteriously were disappeared. But Kingsnake heard everything in his city, and now he heard the labyrinth was working the Fens.

Phalanx was no expert in German, he really hadn't even passing understanding of the time displaced heroes native tongue. He understood the use of grandstanding and intimidation however but there was a line and the blow Gauss aimed at the helpless mercenary was crossing it. He whirled quickly the armored criminal still locked in his grasp and took the blow intended for the enemy on his own invulnerable flank. A flicker of a frown crossed his features before he intoned respectfully, "I understand this is not your time nor your native land sir." the tall paragon admitted, "But we do not strike a helpless foe. We are better than criminals such as these, he will pay for his crimes but not by our hands."
-
Sorry about the delay had a busy weekend and needed rule clarification Sense Motive 1d20+9=29; He is so far unmoved. Phalanx is a goody goody and will interpose the attack and offer an obnoxious moralizing soliloquy Losing dodge bonus to defense 16 will hit but the damage is below his impervious threshold so no damage. Kingsnake is up.

Mike was less at ease with the environs though he had practiced and researched sufficiently to not actively embarrass himself he continued to hunch in on himself in his 'I might break things if I move too quick' kind of way and looked over the menu as if searching for something, "Oh uhm, the chicken." he said with a nod having perused the menu in advance to be prepared. With a warm smile he set his menu down to gaze across the table at her, "You do so much for me, for everyone really, I'm glad I can do a little ot even the scales." he acknowledged easily, "You're worth this trouble and more after all, and I'm not always great at showing it." When the server arrived Mike was prepared and said with conviction, "I'll have the chicken." and gestured to the item on the menu so he wouldn't have to mangle tzatziki. Setting hte menu down once more he added, "And we'll share the Hummus plate sampler?" he suggested eyeing Alex for confirmation of his selection.

"It certainly is a big help in the hospital as well." Ellis agreed with a smile as he took a few slow bites of the succulent stew. "It can sneak up on you too." he added quietly, "nearly burned myself out first time I came, but I'm a lightweight." he offered with a congenial wink. He paused at her question, "The truth more or less." he said after a moment, "I told her i ran into a colleague at the hospital and was going to grab a bite after my shift," he explained with a hint of a smile as he held back his reasoning then with a smirk elaborated, "I find it best to inform her of more romantic meetups when I am more prepared to answer her bevy of questions about them." he took a slow sip of his drink and added with a laugh, "Well I hope it's better." he shrugged, "The woman needs some girlfriends to gossip with or something because I am too long in the tooth for the third degree about my date." he explained using the singular as he didn't go on enough of them to justify plurality, maybe after this one though he wasn't sure how it conted, well it probably did, though what date that made it was questionable, did the coffee meetup count? Rather than focus overmuch on that line of thought he moved back to the very pleasant present. "Though she probably has sussed it out already if I'm honest." he admitted and glanced down at his plate as he murmured, "She claims I have a look and a voice for when I'm seeing you." he cleared his throat perhaps revealing more than he intended, "Ah, so, what have you been up to other than the livestock and answering calls for help from out of their depth doctors?"

GM Post The mercenary struggled feebly in the steely grip of his captor though his suits servos were not equal the task and he soon gave up. He shook his head with a off kilter laugh ringing tinny and small through the vocoder, "Oh no chance there, I'm not about to give my life up for some snitch with second thoughts." he announced, "Even if I did know I wouldn't tell you, and I don't but I do know what kind of people they work with and I do know none of you lot can do a damn thing to stop it." he sneered cocky still even in defeat.

"You have more than earned it today." Phalanx agreed before tilting his head as the threads of hte distant conversation in the train cars beyon reached his ears, "There is still a matter I must attend." he added as he vanished in a blur of blue and gold streaking across the skies. Landing with a resounding *whump* of compressed air from his rapid flight as he came to rest behind the merc so carefully edging clear of the heroes. "You are outnumbered and outmatched." the big paragon intoned and snapped his hands out to root the man to the ground, "You will not escape justice today." he affirmed, voice steely and resolved, "You have risked the lives of innocents and clearly seek to undermine the due process of the courts. That can not be allowed, perhaps if you are cooperative it will ease the judgements against you." Phalanx finally suggested and glared at the sobbing woman, "Someone set you this task, do the right thing and tell us what we need to know to keep this woman safe." It was perhaps naive to expect the mercenary willing to kill a train full of people to fulfill his mission to have a moment of conscience over one woman likely an informant of some kind to begin with. Yet for the Paragon the opportunity to turn over a new leaf ought at least be offered.

Phalanx Move Action: Fly back to the train car and land behind backup 3. Free Action: Set Array to 11 Super strength for 12 total Standard Action: Initiate a grapple with Backup 3 Attack Roll; 1d20+11=31: Grapple Check 1d20+47=58; Backup 3 can not get better than a bound and helpless result. Backup Backup 3 is pinned and helpless and can not beat Phalanx's Grapple check *EDIT* Whoop! forgot about the fatigue, first roll still can't be beat even after the -1 attack -2 strength Escape attempt 1d20+24=30: Phalanx can't lose that one so no change.

GM Post It was hard to say if the mans lurching to the side was the result of hte telegraphed punch, his own unstable footing, or an untimely lurch of the halted train car. None the less Kingsnakes brutal blow did naught but graze the unsteady mercenary. "We'll see about that yet." he rumbled his vocoder staticy with the damage the suit had sustained through the vicious beating. On the ground below the woman looked with fearful eyes to the heroes, "You don't know what they're capeable of, I can't.." she babbled before dissolving into a mass of sobs.

Miras is up.

No all backup three did was stand and posture.

Ellis retracted his hand as she released it and nodded agreement, "It certainly does." he spoke softly now his words careful around difficult terrain. "It is a mistake many men make for lesser reasons." he finally offered comfortingly, "though still a mistake." he felt the need to reaffirm. He thanked the waiter politely as the platter of thick stew was set before them and grinned at her question as he tore a swath of one of the flatbreads served along side the hearty melding of meat, vegetable, and spice. Rolling the injera into a makeshift spoon in his right hand he scooped up a mouthful of the slowly simmered lamb and delicately offered her the bite with a faint smile, "You simply scoop with the Injera." he indicated with a nod as he steered the fragrant bite towards her lips. The staff grinned at the couple as he did so a few whispered words in their native tongue gossiping about the doctor's action spoke to the significance in Ethiopian food culture of the motion whether he knew it or not. "Oh and right hand use of the left is considered rude from what Dr. Cutter has told me." "Balance is hard I think regardless of career." he offered further on the earlier topic though drifting to less personal space, "I have known no small number of colleagues who have had such stumbles."
