Tell you what, hit me with a Knowledge [Technology] roll. She's able to access the data regardless but that will determine how much of it she actually understands without further study.

Shoebox, unless you're spending an HP to reroll his Initiative, you should wait to decide what Phantasmo does until he comes up in Initiative order.

Frozen solid with jagged icicles trailing backward from their mutilated forms, the antibodies surrounding Ana ground to a halt, creating a makeshift wall of flesh and metal and ice in a semicircle around the engineer. Through the cracks in that barrier she could see one of the monstrous automatons still attacking Sei succumb to the outer edges of the attack while the sole remaining creature continues to flail single mindedly at the archer, seemingly oblivious to the fate of its brethren. Whether because of the chill from the cryokinetic's blast or simply Seikahi'ino's own combat skill, the attack went wide, the advantage of numbers having suddenly swung in the favour of the two women. With a pained groan, one of the Lor guards knocked about by the impact of the needleships began to regain her senses, blearily taking in the grim aftermath of Kharag's desperate brawl. "Nnh... what-- what happened?" she muttered as she struggled and failed to get to her feet on the first attempt. The Praetorian didn't have to be an expert in Lor biology to guess that with her head injury the guard was probably best off staying awake but still for the time being. Any advice he might have given was interrupted by the sound of weapons fire from the cargo bay, resounding throughout the ship. "The refugees!" Outside, the weapon Paradigm had torn loose floated with strange serenity into the void of space, passing harmlessly by Elite as she continued to harass the warship from its exterior. The vessel bucked in flight like a wounded animal, trying to train its remaining weapons on the swordswoman but simultaneously attempting to violently shake the Naram out of its bridge. Evidently it had not expected to face borders of its own!

They've got a Defense of 20, I'm afraid, so he will need to burn that HP to hit. Somehow I doubt he'll run out just yet! Paradigm can see that while life support has clearly been stripped out and a lot of what would be open space for crew has been filled with other equipment, the basic bridge controls from before the warship's forcible retrofit seem to still be intact. Of course, she's not familiar with Khanate ship design and she doesn't really have the technical skills to figure them out on her own but it still might be useful information! As for the damage she's doing inside, I'm going to forgo any rolls and represent that with a Staggered condition on the warship. 29 - Seikahi’ino - Uninjured, 3HP 17 - Elite - Uninjured, 1HP 17 - Kharag - Staggered, 0HP 17 - Deep Freeze - Fatigued, Staggered, 0HP 9 - Paradigm - Uninjured, 2HP 9 - Antibodies x5 - Uninjured 9 - Antibodies - Bound/Helpless x1, Unconscious x1, Unconscious x4, Unconscious x5 8 - Communion Warship - Staggered, Dazed, Bruised x2

Ghost Girl Initiative: 1d20+3 10 Kimber's 'disrupt electronics' power would probably do a number on the nanotech, but does she have enough information to figure out that's what they're dealing with in a timely fashion? Maybe someone with a nose for metal should speak up!

Midnight's only observation as they arrived was a roar of ignited engines as the Night Cycle launched itself toward the horde of skittering monstrosities and the obelisk beyond, a streak of pitch black punctuated by the blood red abstract design of windswept wings. There was no need for verbal cues or a heads-up display; Redbird interpreted every twitch of muscle, every shifting of weight without fail, tuning the motorcycle's engine from within with an artisan's precision, freeing Midnight to conduct a symphony of metal and rubber and speed. He swerved to the right at the last moment as one of the spiders swiped at him, its leg catching nothing but empty air, then back to the left to evade two more. Another leapt through the air toward him and he dropped sideways until the Night Cycle was hugging the broken asphalt, drifting underneath its attacker. The spider in front of him tensed, jerking back and forth as it tried to process the vigilante's intentions, to predict which direction he would swerve only to be caught off guard as the front wheel reared upward and stuck it squarely in what passed for its face, its body becoming a makeshift ramp that launched the Night Cycle up and over its brethren. By the time Midnight came to a halt, mere second after he'd begun, he stood in front of the darkened opening in the protruding artifact from which the spiders had emerged, a miniaturized camera in hand and recording the arcane glyphs freshly burned into its pewter surface.

Midnight Attempting to drive through the swarms of spiders to get to the obelisk. Redbird takes 10 on a Drive check to Aid, using Teamwork 3; she gets 22 and provides a +5 bonus to Midnight's check. That gives him a total bonus of +20; using Skill Mastery himself yields a final Drive check of 30.

She is! I guess I never explicitly explained my devious code but when I bold an initiative number and character in the initiative list, that's to indicate that they're currently up! There don't seem to be any antibodies on board, at least not in the same immediate section of the ship as Paradigm. Feel free to have her wreak havoc as seems appropriate and give me any Notice or Knowledge [Technology] rolls you'd like.

The arrow sliced through a tube sloshing with silver liquid and wedged itself into a bony joint, the ancient limb crumbling as it strained against the sudden obstruction. The shambling remains attempted to continue forward unabated but toppled into a trashing heap atop the sandy ground. The rest continued forward toward the heroes unabated, ignoring their fallen comrade and continuing to shriek their unnatural war cries into the air. The next closest literally stepped over the Scot's target to bludgeon him with skeletal hands crackling with sickly green electricity, pushing past the archer's bow with no regard for its own defense, the gut turning smell of putrid decay mixed with perfumes and dust rolling from its mouth.

Midnight Notice 25 with Skill Mastery Knowledge (Technology) check: 1d20+10 11 Knowledge (Tactics) check: 1d20+15 16 ...well that just seems unlikely. Let me know if either of those are worth blowing an HP on, AA. For good measure, Gather Information 20 with Skill Mastery for Well Informed, Sense Motive 25 with Skill Mastery and Knowledge (History) check: 1d20+10 11 ...I think something may be wrong with Orokos.

"Well, I guess if your, uh, target is in the hospital and doesn't look like they're leaving any time soon, you don't get to hold out for a motel visit," Ellie pointed out as they rounded the top of the stairs to find the nurse from earlier picking up the contents from the spilled cart with the help of one of the janitorial staff while a security guard stood halfway in the door to the patient's room, glancing warily between the interior and the hallway. "Although that begs the question of why you'd bother trying to kill a coma patient. If it looked like he might wake up soon they would have moved him into a different room." Looking up, the nurse finished piling a handful of pill bottles into a tray. "Oh! Did you run him off? I swear, I thought I was going to have a heart attack!" "At least you're in the right place for it," Ellie quipped reflexively, covering with a light cough.

The crash site - and with it, Hronos - is about two kilometers away from the edge of the converted computronium. Now that Hronos is up in the air shooting bright lights all around it would probably be fair for the other heroes to notice something is going on in the direction but they'll need to get closer to make out the detail without any relevant Super-Senses.

Both the stairs and the basement chamber to which they led were carved out of the same compressed sand and occasional slab of stone that characterized the upper levels, with metal support beams spaced evenly throughout for good measure. Once they passed through the stairwell the harsh artificial lights were almost as bright as the merciless sun outside, something about the quality reminding the Voidrunners of a hospital or laboratory. Another set of stairs downward sat at the far end of the room and a branching hallway nearby suggested at least another room or two at this level, large enough that the bare handful of guards they'd run into seemed increasingly disproportionate. There was something to be said for secrecy, certainly, but it was beginning to feel like they were missing something important. There were more crates down there but also technical equipment a wide margin above most of what they'd seen on the planet so far if only in terms of maintenance, even if it was still clearly pieced together from whatever had made itself available over time. It made more sense how Zaul was able to keep a metaphorical eye on everything in the city with a few camera feeds, one of which they recognized as the spaceport where they'd docked. Something on a table next to a bank of computers caught Ruby's attention, something that would have evoked the shape and size of a briefcase back on Earth but which she recognized as the portable analytic recorder their target had been spotted with when the bounty was placed. Even now it was open and hooked up to what she assumed was a decoder, churning through the encrypted data recorded there. More data that a single weapons blueprint would have required...

"I am not getting a turn with the lyrical amplification device, am I?" Redbird's voice came from the Night Cycle with a note of resignation as she piloted the motorcycle from deeper in the Manor toward the rest of the group. "Still be here when we return," Midnight assured her, swinging one leg over the back of the bike and mounting in a smooth, practiced movement. "Edge, get us between the obelisk and civilians, or close. You and Monsoon cover crowd control, collapsing infrastructure. Templar, air support, recon. Wander, Cannonade, focus on whatever crawled out of there." That left the women of Project Freedom and to his credit the black clad vigilante pause for less than a moment before including them in his stratagem. "Singularity, stay with Wander, do what she does. Aquaria... stay with Jessie." He wasn't thrilled with the idea of bringing more unknown variables into a situation they already knew precious little about but he expected he could at least trust them to watch each others' backs. "Going to get inside that thing, shut it down."

Alright, she's got a 28PP Array and these things don't have an Impervious but Selective is an Extra on attacks, not a Power Feat so what you want is something like: Damage 9 (Extras: Area [General, Burst], Selective) [27PP]...which is certainly doable Communion Antibodies Reflex Save vs. DC 19: 6#1d20+7 23 14 12 12 25 21 Toughness Save vs. DC 20: 3#1d20+10 17 18 16 Toughness Save vs. DC 24: 3#1d20+10 14 14 24 Five out of six, not bad! That leaves one Antibody still attacking Sei and four more in the cargo bay, attacking the refugees. 29 - Seikahi’ino - Uninjured, 3HP 17 - Elite - Uninjured, 1HP 17 - Kharag - Staggered, 0HP 17 - Deep Freeze - Fatigued, Staggered, 0HP 9 - Paradigm - Uninjured, 2HP 9 - Antibodies x5 - Uninjured 9 - Antibodies - Bound/Helpless x1, Unconscious x1, Unconscious x4, Unconscious x5 8 - Communion Warship - Bruised x2 FTL Drive Repairs: 2/10

Well, that was a DC25 Damage effect with a Fortitude Alt Save. Failing by 13 would mean she's staggered and dazed. Not great news when she's still surrounded by four antibodies!
